In all the world's mysteries and myths, there are none more mysterious than the ocean. Even in an age where people travel the cosmos freely, almost nothing is known about the oceans depths. The deep blue hides secrets, and I intend to uncover them. It all starts at the sulphuric ocean, the place where the jungle tyrant once dumped the consequences of his reign unceremoniously into the once thriving environment, turning it into an acidic hellscape in less than a decade. Thanks to information gathered by previous explorers of the hostile environment, we have determined the deepest point in the planet is a trench just off the shores of the sulphuric seas, which my team and I have lovingly named the abyss. The team is a good group of young lads, all eager for adventure and glory, all in their 20's. We have set camp on one of the sandy islands just off shore, and have docked out of the boat next to it. As of now everyone is running final checks on their gear, as one mistake down there could be fatal. We know absolutely nothing about the abyss, except a seemingly random threshold where the acidity of the waters above disappears and gives way to a much colder surrounding area. We have yet to see any signs of life down there, and the crew is nervous, but excited. The goal for tomorrow is to explore only a little bit past the threshold which we've named the hado line, and attempt to find any signs of life, whether it be plants or animals. So much is to be discovered about this new environment, and I intend to leave no stone unturned.
