Hi, friends! Thank you so much for checking my first story out! It's been a while since I've written anything, but I'm stoked to dip my toes into the Fifty Shades franchise. This is mainly from my knowledge of the movies, so beware if you're a huge lover of the books (I might read them soon). If you have any recommendations on future chapters or story ideas, let me know!

Characters: Phoebe, 17. Theodore, 18.
This story takes place in Seattle, WA in the year 2029. More background will be given throughout the story, so relax and enjoy the ride.

Teddy's POV

"I told you it wouldn't work," a voice sounded from behind me. It was Phoebe, my younger sister. I had grown to accept she would be in my business no matter what, but that didn't stop me from threatening to ruin her social-climbing in school. As the older brother, it was my job to protect - and embarrass - my younger one.

Mom hates it. Dad thinks it's funny.

My blue eyes roll in response before flipping my middle finger up at her. "You don't know shit," I mutter. I could feel Phoebe's stare on me as if she wanted to punch me right then and there. Having a sibling so close in age can be nice, but half the time it's annoying.

"I'm telling Dad you did that."

Phoebe's a daddy's girl. Always has been, always will be. She looks more like Mom than him, but her personality is a mix of the both of them. Her hair looks like mud and her eyes are a dark blue. I hear a lot of guys in the locker room talk about her, which is gross, but also weird. I've had to shut them up a few times... which led to me being suspended and not being able to play lacrosse for a game or two.

I turn and walk toward the shorter Grey. She didn't take our parents' height, that's for sure. I think she's at least five-foot-four. I'm five-foot-ten, which is an ongoing joke with my friends. Girls hate short guys. If you're not at least six-foot, you're practically dead to them. Yeah, right...

"Don't say a fucking word, Phoebe," I grit out.

Her eyes widen in surprise but she hides it well a second later. With a puff of her chest, Phoebe readies to retaliate with words. "At least I don't have to make a plan for someone to fall in love with me."

"It's not a plan."

"Not anymore, obviously. It failed."

My hand rises and grabs her brown locks. I pull a chunk of it down lightly so her head follows direction. "I'll let the whole school know about your little affair with Nathan." Light blue eyes scan her dark ones. "His girlfriend wouldn't like that, huh? Oh, and poor Dad... what would he think?"

That's where I get her. Dad. Fucking hell, she's obsessed with pleasing him. Always wants to prove herself to him and show him that she's better than his firstborn. "I didn't know he was dating anyone, Teddy!" Her voice sounds like she's struggling, yet it's not loud enough for our parents to hear.

Letting go of my sister's hair, I shrug. Being mean comes in handy at times. I'm good at being mean. "But would anyone else believe that?" one of my bushy brows rise in question. Her face gives the answer almost immediately: No.

Ahhh, apologies for it being so short, but this gives an open idea as to where the story can go. I'll update as much as I can, but let me know your thoughts and opinions if you have any!
