At a forest in 1986, Mike and Lucas were at the lake, throwing rocks and what not. They both were trying to do something fun, but they were bored. Lucas continuing throwing rocks while Mike was reading a book.

Lucas puts down the rocks Look, man. I know that you're not over Eleven. So, just trying to take your mind off of it, stop reading that book and throw some rocks with me.
Mike puts the book on the grass, and joins Lucas. They threw rocks into the lake, laughing. After a while, they stopped and just sat down on the grass chilling.
I mean, everything is happening all of a sudden. With Will moving out, and Dustin hanging out with new girlfriend, it's just we're slowly losing the pack said Mike.
I hear you. Everything was fun when we all hang out, but now, we are growing apart. Whatever is happening to us, we will always have a special friendship.
Mike patted Lucas' back I'm glad that you're the only one sticking with me.
Later, they was getting out of the forest, and it was getting a little dark.
Mike said At least, we don't have to worry about another Demogorgon.
Don't be too sure, they always appear out of nowhere. Only this time, we don't have Eleven with us. We can still make it if we just work together.
Yeah, I suppose you're right.
Of course I'm right, we're best friends.
They both chuckled as they kept walking in the woods. Mike looks up at the sky, and spotted something that resembles a star.
Wow, that star is shining a bit brighter, don't you think?
Lucas takes a closer look at it I don't think that's a star. It's moving a bit closer to us.
Both of them starts panicking
Oh sh** said Mike.
The "star" missing them and crashed into an unknown location.
Lucas and Mike looked at each other.
What do you think that was Lucas asked.
