Hello everyone. I have never written anything before so please cut me some slack if you do decide to read my story. Also, I am sorry if I made any punctuation mistakes. If you see any mistakes, I wouldn't mind if you let me know. I am doing my best and will make as many corrections as needed.

"Goodbye, dad! Have a great day at work, I love you!" She said as she kissed her father on the cheek as he left for work for the day.
"See you tonight, my little princess" he responded warmly as he received his daughter's affections.
Kary stood at the door and waved her father goodbye as she saw him leave for the day. She loved her father, he made sure she had everything she could ever need or want, and since she was a very mature girl for her age her father never really had any problems giving her whatever she asked for. Yes, she loved her father dearly for she took care of her, but she did not agree with his profession at all, he was a politician, he wasn't very powerful, but he earned a lot of money for an easy job while the rest of the people starved around them. She had seen it, malnourished children and struggling parents who couldn't make ends meet.
It hurt her deeply whenever she tagged along her father on some of his political meetings to other walls, she could see people starving and struggling to feed their people. It's not that she wasn't thankful for everything she had, but she had always thought that people should help each other. Especially inside the walls… life was already hard enough.
After seeing that for the fist time she had asked her father why he didn't help those people. He had told her that it would be impossible for him to help all those people, and that there weren't enough rich people in the world to help all the poor people around. And at the end of the day some people were born under a lucky star like they had, so they shouldn't feel guilty about having everything while others didn't.
She had never liked that explanation, but her father never left any room left to argue. He would change the subject or plainly ignore her, it was obvious he thought her worries stemmed from her naiveté and young age, but she had a feeling she understood life better than he did.
Despite it all of this she couldn't help but love her father, he showered her with attention and took excellent care of her even if she wasn't his real daughter. She knew about it; she had read it from a letter her mother had left for her before she died a couple of years before. Her father had fallen in love with her even though she was pregnant with another's man child, and he had vowed to love her child like it was his, which he had done from the day Kary was born. From that very first day until today and even though her mother was no longer around, he continued to treat her like she was his, always watching over her with soft caring eyes. How could she not love him?
She continued to reflect on all of this as she climbed the stairs and to her study room. Her private teacher would not take too long to arrive, and she wasn't ready for her lessons yet. She sighed as she reached her study room and looked at her books neatly waiting for her on her desk. She sat down and groaned, she really hated the responsibilities of a rich girl, but her father had promised to take her near the underground stairs next time he had errands to attend around town if she did good on her tests. She wasn't one to reject an adventure like that one. She smiled slightly as she looked to the window and daydreamed about her next adventure.
I have loved Levi's character for a very long time. All this time I have daydreamed of saving the guy from even a little of the misfortunes he has encountered in his life, so I decided to write one of those scenarios. I have never written anything before so please bear with me.

Ok, this is the first chapter, her POV. Next will be Levi's. Please feel free to review and leave your comments, I am mostly writing this for me, but it would be amazing if someone somewhere enjoyed this too.
