Sup guys? Lighting wolf here, back for another story, this one about Elfen Lied. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Elfen Lied, Lynn Okamoto, Shueisha and a few others do.

Diclonii were such interesting creatures. They could easily cut through people who engaged them in combat.

"Hmm…" One of the research staff stated as he monitored things. "Are you sure the security is enough to contain them? We already know what the queen can do." The researcher put in as he rubbed at his neck.

The other researchers were quiet. They knew very well a Diclonii would butcher them… And they had 2 of them captured below.

"The alpha subjects are valuable research into the subject of Diclonii." Another researcher stated as he turned to look to another monitor. "Their docile, wrapped up in coffins and enough security to kill a small nation." Said researcher added as he continued typing.

"I'm sure that we have things well in hand." One of the researchers put in as he crossed his arms. "We have a job to do. They are a research topic…. Even if they don't want to be part of it." The researcher said as he shook his head from side to side.

They knew very well that there was work to be done… And yet they knew all it took was a single error or lap in judgement and they'd be sleeping underground.

(In the labs)

A dozen researchers surrounded the artificial coffin which contained the king subject. All of them knew the subject in the tank was dangerous, intelligent, ruthless.

His presence did have a calming effect on the queen. He was not as monstrous as her.

Then again? They were mates, and both had a close bond, they were tangled up and up. They were two threads in the same stitch.

"Any change in material or DNA?" The head researcher questioned as he turned. "There's still various things we could learn from it." The others heard as they kept to their own screens.

They said nothing. All of them found it easier to think about it when they considered it simply a thing… Simply a form of life to be studied over and over. One of them wondered what would be happening if he was out of the tank.

The figure within the tank took a breath through a machine. The various tubes that ran into his body made him growl. The mechanical mask that covered his face? The humans treated him and his mate as a lab experiment. They didn't treat them like living creatures.

The longer he had to think about what to do? The longer his people. Their people suffered, he wouldn't do something that endangered her, his and her people.

"Let her out, let us leave." He said more to himself then anyone else. "She will kill you if you don't." He stated with a frown under the apparatus that contained him.

The drugs they gave him off balanced him. it made him feel so stupid at the moment. He couldn't think of anything, a plan, a way out of here.

If he did? He knew someone would get hurt, not that he doubted these humans cared about it.

"How did they even catch us?" He asked himself while closing his eyes. "We're smarter then this. If she's hurt? I'll destroy them myself; her safety is all I care about at the moment." He said and shook his head.

He could understand security. His people were dangerous, but they wouldn't take this lying down. Humans had brought them here, humans had kidnapped Diclonii.

There would be blood, pain, anger, death. The king knew this, he didn't want this… But there would be little to placate their people. Humans had brought their troubles to them, that was the stupidest move they could have made.

It wasn't his fault, however. Beds were made, now people had to be laid on them.

"What, why is security failing!?" The researcher stated while he pounded on his monitor. "Damn it! We need to evacuate, power is failing." The researcher yelled as he screeched in anger once more.

The king Diclonii raised an eyebrow and had a feeling one of the test subjects had escaped. He wanted to see what happened next. There was going to be blood today, not that he wanted it however.

He opened his ocean blue eyes once more and powered up.

Phew. First chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be delayed to next winter and such. Next chapter will show the king and Lucy reunited and show off more about what the king is and all that. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Next chapter will be 900-1500 and such. I want to point out that it might be delayed.
