A/N: Heyo! I am back!

Now, this will be somewhat of a supernatural/hurt/comfort story.

And this story will feature martial arts. If you don't like it, DON'T READ! This is JUST for fun.

Anyway, this will feature another OC of mine; Ivan Kaspar Derkach, a Ukrainian Special Forces soldier with a dark but cold past.

This will also be a chapter story too.

So, enjoy chapter 1.

Alrighty, I shall get to the story, but hear me out, I don't own Loud House, it belongs to its rightful owners and I ONLY own Ivan.

I shall see you all…AT THE BOTTOM!

It was a lovely, but warm day on Monday, June 6th, 2016, and the Loud family was eating breakfast at the table. Everyone had their own plans, especially the sisters and Lincoln himself. On days when there was no school at all, the girls would always go to the mall and have fun buying stuff while Lincoln would be nerding it out with his buddy, Clyde.

As the family ate quietly, Rita looked at her children and smiled gently. "So, does anyone have any plans for the day?" Rita asked as all the girls, minus Lily, looked at their mother.

"Yeah. Leni and I are going to the mall to look at dresses." Lori said before beaming at her younger sister.

"I'm meeting Sam at her house to jam with some other friends." Luna said before continuing to eat.

"I've got a little puppet show for some 2nd graders down the street. So, I'll be gone until close to 3pm." Luan replied before Lynn Jr went next.

"Margo and I got a basketball game with the rival school. So, I'll be busy with that for a couple hours." Lynn Jr said before all the younger girls just said they would be staying home, minus Lily.

After all the girls said what they would be doing, Rita and Lynn Sr looked at their middle child and raised their eyebrows.

"Lincoln, what about you?" Lynn Sr asked as Lincoln looked at his father.

"Oh, sorry. Clyde and I are gonna be at the arcade hanging out for a bit." Lincoln said before everyone finished up with their breakfast and went to do their own things for the day.

As Lincoln walked to his best friend's house, he felt how nice it was outside; the weather was perfect, and it wasn't too hot. The clouds blocked the sunlight and gave it a nice, dimmed feeling. Lincoln also heard kids playing and having fun at the park; it was a good day.

After picking up Clyde, the two 11-year-olds headed for the arcade and went to have tons of fun.

1 Hour Later

After losing and winning at some games, the boys were laughing and having a good old time before they heard a rumble come from outside.

Outside the arcade was a moving truck hauling a trailer with a sweet looking muscle car on it. The moving truck had stopped for a moment while a man had gotten out of the passenger side; the man stood 6-foot tall, a brown haired Quiff hair style, green eyes, had a muscular but healthy physique, and was wearing a Plaid red and white flannel, timber brown cargo pants and black hiking boots. He stretched slightly and went inside to the arcade to find the two 11-year-olds taking a break from the games.

"Excuse me, young man." The man said in his strong accent, getting Lincoln's attention as he walked towards the 11-year-old gently.

Lincoln looked towards the European with a cocked eyebrow. "Yes? How can I help you, sir?" Lincoln asked politely before the man pulled out a tiny note slip of paper.

"I'm looking for this address. But I need to know if I'm going in the right direction." The man said before handing Lincoln the slip of paper.

Lincoln looked at the address and went wide eyed slightly; it was the house directly across from his own house!

"This is exactly right across from my own house. I can tell you where it's at, just in case." Lincoln said before walking outside of the arcade to direct the man on where to go.

After explaining the directions, the man smiled gently at Lincoln's help.

"Thank you, a lot, young man. I appreciate it." The man said before getting back into the passenger side of the moving truck.

After the moving truck disappeared down the street, Lincoln went back inside to see Clyde waiting for him.

"So, is that guy moving in across from you?" Clyde asked as Lincoln nodded gently.

"I just hope my family doesn't do anything to scare this guy away." Lincoln said before they continued to have fun playing arcade games.

Later that Day

Lincoln arrived back home a couple hours before it was time for dinner. As he walked into the living room, he heard the usual activity was not as noisy as it was. Lincoln saw his parents in the kitchen who were seeing what sounded good for dinner.

"Did you guys hear about the new neighbor that's moving into the house right across from us?" Lincoln asked as he grabbed a juice bottle from the fridge before he saw his parents nodding to his response.

"Yeah. We saw him helping the movers with what little furniture he had, as well as unloading his car from the trailer." Rita said before Lynn Sr smiled.

"Which I think Lana will like talking to him about since she's into cars." Lynn Sr said as he smiled gently.

"I think we'll take you, Luna and Lily to go meet him either Wednesday or Thursday. Which should give him enough time to get settled in." Rita said sweetly as Lincoln smiled as he took a sip of his juice before going upstairs to hang out and read comics.

3 Days Later across the Street

It was early around 5am across from the Loud House, and there sleeping on his heavy-duty cot was Ivan Kaspar Derkach. A Ukrainian man who had left the Ukrainian Special Forces aka Alpha Group and went into college to graduate with his degree in Teaching, History and Social Science.

Ivan sat up from his cot and went to start the day by doing his daily routine, which was going on a 1-mile jog before coming back to clean up and have a healthy breakfast. Ever since he was in the Military, he made this routine up and it had helped him a lot.

Ivan put on a long sleeve compression shirt, compression tights and fleece jogging shorts that matched before jogging around the corner 4 times. As he was on his jog, he felt more alive to be able to live freely and live his life how he wanted.

After his jog, he fixed a quick healthy breakfast that consisted of blueberries, vanilla yogurt, and quinoa. He knew he didn't have many groceries, but as soon as he applied for a teaching position at the High School down the road, he'd be able to get more things for his new house.

All he had was little kitchen appliances, his cot, clothes, and his car. He still needed to buy a bed to sleep in. He also bought some books at the bookstore the week prior, since he loved to read.

Around 7am, he went to his bathroom and took a warm shower to clean up. As he scrubbed his body with body wash, he knew he had to adapt to living in an American country and even abide by the laws since he wasn't in the Ukraine anymore.

After he stepped out of the shower, he examined his body and smiled gently; he knew he had been through the depths of hell to gain this body and even acquire the scars he had. The year before he left the military, he was rewarded with his forearm tattoos and his ribcage tattoo after a mission in Iraq. He winced at what he had to do back then, but he knew it was for the best if he didn't think about it too much.

He applied deodorant and cheap cologne before he put on a grey henley, black jeans and his only boots that he owned. He went to the living room to read a book on his cot for a while before he would work on his martial arts.

An hour later, he heard a knock on the front door. So, he got up and went to the front door before opening it to see a man in his 40's, a woman around the same age who was holding an infant, a 15-year-old teenager that was dressed in purple and even the 11-year-old he got help from days prior.

"Hello there. May I help you?" Ivan asked as the man and woman smiled.

"Yes. Hi. We're the Louds and we just wanted to welcome you to Royal Woods. These are our children, Luna, Lincoln and Lily." The man said before the kids waved at Ivan. "Well, some of them at least." He added with a warm smile.

"And you are?" Ivan asked with a smile as the man and his wife smiled.

"I'm Lynn Loud Sr and this is my wife, Rita Loud." Lynn Sr said as Ivan stuck out his hand to shake theirs.

"The name is Ivan. Ivan Kaspar Derkach, and I'm from Kyiv, in the Ukraine." Ivan said before allowing them inside.

Ivan showed them inside before allowing them to sit at his dinner table, that was a pretty basic one.

"So, tell me about your family." Ivan said as he grabbed bottles of water for the family, but they all declined.

"Well, we are a remarkably interesting family of 13. And we love each other very much." Rita said as Ivan's went slightly wide to what she had said.

"Svyate layno. You must want to rip your hair out of your head due to the chaos. Correct?" Ivan asked as Rita and Lynn Sr nodded gently with a smile.

"In most cases. But we can handle it." Lynn Sr said as Ivan smiled softly.

"There's been a bit of adventures with our family, but we love each other nonetheless. We'd do anything for each other as well." Rita said as Ivan thought that was sweet.

"So, what about you, Ivan? Tell us about yourself." Rita asked as Ivan chuckled.

"What should I tell you? That I was a little layno when I was a kid and stole to support my family after my father was killed in Chernobyl NPP explosion back in '86. I had to do a lot of bad things just to survive my childhood. But as I turned 5, I took up Muay Thai, Systema, and Jiu-Jitsu to cope with my life, and it worked. At 8, I resorted to stealing food and small supplies for my family just to survive." Ivan said as he stared into space.

The Louds all listened to Ivan's story, before he continued.

"As soon as I turned 15, I joined a gang of hoodlums to rob bigger places. We robbed gas stations and random people on the street for money, before we took on drug smuggling. But it was small time drug smuggling because we figured it wasn't our thing. After I turned 17, we robbed a small bank and got out with a couple thousand hryvnia. But the straw that broke the camel's back is when I beat the hell out of the security guard with my martial arts. I was arrested hours later and taken to jail. I straightened my life out ever since then." Ivan said before wiping his eyes that had watered slightly.

The Loud family just sat there and listened to Ivan's story. They had no idea he was this type of person.

"That's rough dude. Pretty damn rough." Luna said as soft tone to her voice.

Ivan sighed loudly before wiping his face with his hands. "You don't know the half of it." Ivan replied as his accent thickened.

"I'd rather not continue with my past. I've got a ton of demons I have to sort out. If that makes sense." Ivan said before looking at the Louds.

"We understand, Ivan. No need to continue." Rita said firmly as Ivan smiled softly at her.

"So, what are you going to do for work?" Lynn Sr asked as Ivan's face changed, he looked incredibly happy.

"Well, I have a Bachelor's degree in Teaching, History and Social Science. I just got my teaching license too, so I'm able to teach either at the Middle school or High school. I'm really good with children and love to help them with whatever they need help with." Ivan said as he pulled out a picture of him wearing his cap and gown at his college graduation in Kyiv before showing it to the family.

Smiling, Rita and Lynn Sr knew they had a great neighbor across from their house.

"Well, we hope you get the job as a history teacher at either school. You'll love it here. And it's only a 2 hour drive from Detroit too." Lynn Sr said with a proud smile as Ivan sported another smile of his own.

"It's been my dream of being a history teacher since I was a child. I loved reading and studying Medieval times as well as the history of Europe and the United States. While I was a child, I read tons of books of the many conflicts and wars within North America." Ivan said with a happy tone.

Just then, Rita's phone went off and she sighed. "I hate to interrupt but our twin daughters just got into a huge fight and broke some dishes, so I need to go and punish them." Rita said as she got up with Lily in her arms and smiled softly at Ivan.

"It was nice meeting you, Ivan." Lynn Sr said before he shook Ivan's hand again, before Rita, Luna and Lincoln did the same.

"It was lovely meeting you as well. I appreciate you coming over to welcome me to the neighborhood." Ivan said with a warm smile as he showed the Louds out politely.

As he watched the Loud family leave, he closed the door and put his back against the door before feeling blood drip from his eyes and nose. He checked it before making a tight fist.

"Fuck these ridiculous side effects!" Ivan cursed before he went to apply for the teachers position online.

2 months went by, and it was August 8th, 2016, the first day of school. It was ten minutes to 7am, and Ivan had gotten up an hour ago, cleaned up and put on his brand new dark navy blue suit. It consisted of a white dress shirt, a charcoal grey wool vest, a dark blue tie, blue pants, and brown dress shoes. Ivan applied a small amount of cologne before he took his lunch that he stuck in the fridge the night before and walked out to his car.

He went into the High School three days after he applied and was needed for an interview. Principal Rivers was overly impressed with all of Ivan's words that he chose to say and decided to hire him right there and then.

Ivan drove to the High School and parked in his temporary spot that was assigned for him. As he parked his car, he heard a voice coming from behind him as he was getting out.

"Good morning, Mr. Derkach. How are you this morning?" Principal Rivers asked as she approached the man.

Ivan smiled and walked up to her gently. "I'm good. I'm a tad nervous of teaching History to a bunch of High School students." Ivan said as he walked into the building with Principal Rivers.

"I understand. So, just to be clear, you'll be teaching 11th graders. And I also read that you are a heavily trained martial artist. Is that true?" Principal Rivers asked as Ivan went wide eyed slightly to what she had said.

He sighed gently and nodded. "Yes. I am a heavily trained special forces soldier from the Ukraine. But after the military, I applied for University and got my Bachelor's degree for Teaching, History and Social Science. But I excelled in History the most." Ivan said as they walked to a classroom.

"This will be your classroom. The students will be here in 30 minutes, and homeroom will start in 45 minutes. The roster for homeroom is in the top drawer. I'm sure you know how to go over it." Principal Rivers said as she began to leave, leaving Ivan to prepare for his first class.

"And Mr. Derkach?" Principal Rivers asked as she stood in the doorway.

"Yes, ma'am?" Ivan replied as he saw the Principal put on a semi-serious facial expression.

"You have full authorization to put your hands on the students if they seem to be a threat to you or the others. Understood?" Principal Rivers said as Ivan nodded before she left to head back to her office.

Ivan surveyed the room and smiled gently; it had the right amount of desks, a white board, a ceiling projector, a laptop (connected to it), his desk and some space on the wall for any history décor he could put.

Ivan sat in the leather chair and went over the assignment that the principal created for him a few days back. He also pulled up today's assignment for the first hour class, which was the Three Kingdoms of Korea. As soon as he figured out how to get the projector to work, students began to walk into the classroom.

"Please take a seat everyone." Ivan said in a stern voice as he began to hear some students bicker beyond the low chatter.

Once everyone had taken a seat, Ivan stood in front of the class and put his hands on his hips. "My name is Mr. Derkach and I am your History teacher." Ivan spoke in a stern tone as some of the students began to chortle lightly.

"We will go over the roster after the bell rings. Then, we will start with our first hour assignment." Ivan said as he picked up a clipboard with a paper attached to it.

He went over the students names before the bell rang right after. He knew it was going to be a challenge being a teacher, but Ivan knew was prepared for it.

A/N: Glad you made it!

So, I'm sorry this was kind of short, but I'm doing my best with trying to make it make some sort of sense.

Anyway, I want to thank my friend, Crazymancody895, for helping me proofread this too.

I hope you enjoyed this, and I will see you in the next chapter…ADIOS AMIGOS!
