I still love the Spider-Man TAS from the 90s and the other similar shows that are pretty much accepted as in the same universe. I know others like Bl4ckHunter and Phillipe363 have pointed out how most media and the comics sideline other potential Spidey love interests for MJ and it's a valid criticism though of course I still think the Night Gwen Stacy Died is still a classic story despite the fridging and of course how stupid One More Day is. I got to thinking the MJ clone if she had survived and how would Peter react if the original MJ came back to see a doppelganger has taken her place and married Peter. I sure hope that Peter wouldn't be the utter asshole Cyclops was in the comics when he left Madelyn Pryor to return to Jean Grey. For this story I am altering what happened in the Secret Wars storyline with She-Hulk one of my fave shipping partners for my fave superhero with Storm plus it lasting longer. Plus I wanted to point out how polyamorous relationships would be more frowned upon in the time of the show.
Plus you heard that apparently they had plans to reveal that MJ got sent to the time of Jack the Ripper and with the censorship restrictions (of Spidey not being allowed to throwing the punch) I want to know how exactly they planned to get away with that but then again they somehow managed to adapt the Punisher by having him only use laser weapons and not his lethal methods while only mentioning him and being vague about what exactly happened to his family.
Peter Parker or Spider-Man didn't know how for how long he was leading the heroes on his Earth against the villains that the Beyonder had brought forth to destroy this peaceful alien world all for his stupid test. He chosen to help with him Captain America, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four and Jennifer Walters the She-Hulk. He had read in the papers and on the TV news about the Hulk and the villains he had fought but there was also the rampages that he had been on. He couldn't risk this planet on the idea that they could get the Hulk to work with them but he had read about him having a cousin called Jennifer Walters the She-Hulk who was in perfect control of her Hulk powers.
They ended up working well together and Peter even got them to use the technology to bring back the Black Cat who was not thrilled to be taken from her vampire hunt at first but soon she got back to her usual flirty self to him. Plus Jennifer was quite sultry and flirty with him as well liking his sense of humour and Peter couldn't help but think of how beautiful they were and attracted to them both. He told himself that he was married to Mary Jane but then again the Mary Jane that he married was a clone that dissolved and the original one is still lost to time and place.
Did he count as a widower, he honestly didn't know. Sometimes his life was like a Twilight Zone episode.
Battling against the forces of Doctor Doom and his army of New Latveria got a revelation revealed to his team as Doom unmasked him as Peter Parker much to Black Cat's shock she soon unmasked herself as Felicia Hardy his old classmate which surprised him. During one of the fights afterwards Doom tried to entice Peter by revealing Mary Jane Watson-Parker in a black and blue technological bodysuit. She told him that she remembered dissolving in his arms after being told that she was a clone. Doom revealed that he had used his technology to transport back from Earth, the dissolved particles of Mary Jane and used Professor Miles Warren's cloning technology to bring her life in a new body but without the degradation problem.
They fought back Doom and brought MJ back to their base, Peter was happy to have his wife back but MJ pointed out that the real Mary Jane was out in space and what happens if they find a way to bring her back. Peter was silent as he had to contemplate this but managed to reassure her that she was the woman that he had revealed his secret identity to and the woman that he had married, despite being a clone of Mary Jane with her memories she was her own person. If it comes to that then they will find a way to weather the storm.
There was some jealous looks from Felicia and Jennifer and Peter tried to keep things professional with his teammates but MJ could tell the attraction that they had for her husband and despite his attempts to say otherwise, vice versa. Over time he could see the three of them giggling with eachother but while suspicious he was happy to see them friendly with eachother.
Soon MJ asked to see him at a certain point and he was at the waiting spot for them but then Felicia jumped him and he was helpless in her grip as she giggled, her super soldier powers made her stronger and didn't trigger his Spider-Sense. "Sorry Spider but Felicia here insisted on having some fun before we give you our proposition." Jennifer told him coming forward with MJ as Felicia let him go as Peter was willing to hear them out but was annoyed at Felicia.
"We were talking and while I was at first jealous of Felicia and Jennifer here taking a liking to you and the looks that you were giving them... Well, I appreciate you being the faithful husband but I was thinking it over and talked it over and Peter Benjamin Parker... How would you like to be with these two beautiful women along with your wife?" MJ asked him as Peter was dumbfounded.
"MJ, I think that Doom messed up something when he recreated you since do you know what you are saying?" Peter asked once he found his voice.
MJ looked serious and told him "I am serious Peter, I love you more than anything and I thought that as long as your love for me was never in question then I wouldn't mind being the only woman in your heart." Peter was thinking it over and still wasn't one hundred percent certain.
"We can take this as slowly as you want and Felicia and I decided we would accept it if you have decided that MJ was the only woman for you." Jennifer told him with Felicia nodding.
"But what happens when we get back to Earth, what would people think?" Peter asked.
"It doesn't matter what others may think, as long as we are happy." MJ told him.
"I have the Hardy family money to help us deal with the press." Felicia said.
"I am a lawyer who can take care of them and I am used to tabloids written about me anyway." Jennifer said.
Peter thought it over and came to a decision, he nodded and the three women grinned as Felicia and Jennifer each took a hold of one of his arms. Both of them could restrain him easily but he was not really struggling. "Are you willing to let them do this to your husband?" Peter asked as MJ smirked bringing his mask to his nose.
"Be gentle ladies." MJ simply told them as she shared a kiss with Peter and then with Felicia. Then Jennifer had her first kiss with Peter.
They would end up winning this Secret War and after defeating Spider-Carnage to save all of reality, they ended up back on their Earth with their memories. They explained things to their loved ones with them weirded out but still agreeing to keep it secret, MJ's Aunt Anna didn't really approve but had she ever approved of anything Peter had done?
A year later they were in a Hardy family owned vacation home as Peter in trunks joined Felicia and Jennifer in a hot tub as they were clad in bikinis. "So where is MJ?" Peter asked as they grinned.
"She is already here." Jennifer told him as he was taken aback and gasped but then out from the female changing room was MJ in her bikini as the two in the tub laughed at Peter's reaction. MJ joined them and Peter decided that it didn't matter if people didn't think this was normal because he didn't care. This was his life and their happiness and that was all that mattered.
Plus I don't think I will get any questions but if you decide to think that it's farfetched that Doom brought back clone MJ like that, please remember that we are talking about Dr Doom here who somehow gets a free pass in being super OP. During the lead up to Secret War (the Crisis of Infinite Earths style event crossover) they had Doom learn more about the Incursions than the Illuminati and Cabal did in the shorter amount of time that he had learned about them. It's something I hope they scale back when they get to adapting him to the MCU.
