The ground was hard under her shoulders when she finally, finally landed once more. The hard burn of John Henry's heel still painfully throbbing against her abdomen as she rolled onto her side coughing a mouthful of very crimson blood onto the ground beside her.
"Vampires." Eve grunts taking stock of herself as she shifts up onto her hands and knees. Her nose was bloody and dripping red dots onto the dirt but the wound from the shears had remained healed.
Then something else catches her attention.
She was free.
"Freaking Finally." Eve smiles falling back onto the ground for a few short seconds to literally kiss the earth of the human realm under her fingers. "John Henry Holiday I could kiss you." She says rolling onto her back as she enjoys the last fading rays of sunlight on her borrowed cheek.
It would seem during her fall she'd shifted back into the last feminine form she'd so recently taken on while still trapped in that supposed paradise.
Wynonna, she thinks this form was called.
Eve's next breath comes out more of a hiss as more pain throbs in her legs as she raises to her feet to check her surroundings. Thankfully for her, her new skin was used to handling pain, so it wasn't long before Eve herself was able to manage it.
"Miracles, Montana, 10 miles." She reads out spotting a human-made signpost a few paces away from her.
"Humm. A day for Miracles indeed." The Immortal smiles beginning the walk into the coming darkness of the end of another day.
