Danville, Tri-State Area, USA, Flynn-Fletcher House
It was the first day of summer and everyone was in the kitchen doing their regular routine: Phineas and Ferb have blueprints all over the kitchen table, trying to plan yet another great summer vacation, Candace was chatting with Stacey on her cell phone and Linda (Mom) was washing the dish after everyone was finished with their breakfast. When they were about to exit the room, Lawrence (Dad) enters the kitchen with a huge smile on his face.
"Good morning family, I have a big announcement to make," Lawrence said. "I'll call you back, Stacey," Candace said as she hangs up her phone as she and everyone else stare at Lawrence, waiting to hear what he about to say. " You all remember my brother, Adrian, right?" he said. "Yeah! It was great of them to come to visit us last summer, especially playing against Ferb's cousins in the Football X-7." Phineas announces with Ferb shaking his head in agreement. " Oh, you boys and your imagination," Linda said still thinking that Phineas and Ferb made it up, which made Candace moan in annoyance knowing that she still hadn't busted her brother on that one. "Well, I just heard from him that he and his family will be taking a world cruise all summer," he announces. "That's great!" Phineas said with Ferb giving his dad a thumb up. "That's wonderful for Lucy and the kids," Linda said. "And that good for us because?" Candace asks wanting to know what on it for them, especially her. "Well he just calls me if we can house-sit for them while they were away and I agree; plush I already called Isabella, Buford and, Baljeet's parent if they want their children to come along, and they all agreed, so pack your bags, everyone, because we're going to London!" he finishes announcing.
Everybody seems to be excited by the news, well almost everybody. "Why are Phineas and Ferb's friends are coming along, but not mine?" Candace complain. "That because Jeremy, Stacy, and Jenny already had family plans that they can't get away with. I suggest you three pack up straight away because we'll be leaving at dawn." Lawrence said. Candace growl and storms up upstairs not only that she had to wake up really early, but that she couldn't invite any of her friends and boyfriend with her. On the other hand, Phineas and Ferb were excited to spend their summer in London with their friends as they rush upstairs to pack all their things. "I got a feeling that this summer is going to be better than last year," Phineas said to Ferb racing upstairs. "Hey, where Perry?" Phineas ask.
Perry was in the backyard standing in all four, but as soon as the coast was clear, he was standing on two and pull out a brown fedora and place it on his head. He then pulls down a twig on the side of the tree, causing a secret entrance to appear, which he enters. As soon as he enters, the elevator made its way down to his secret lair. As he exits the elevator, he rushes to his chair and sat down as Major Monogram appears on the big screen. "Hello Agent P, as you are well aware, your nemesis, Dr. Doofenshmirtz has decided to take up an evil lair exchange program for the whole summer in Camden Town, London. Luckily, we were able to make rearrangement so that you can keep an eye on him," he explains. "We, sir?" Carl said offscreen. "Not everything is about you, Carl," Monogram said to him. "Now go out there and put a stop on whatever he is going to do out there," Monogram said to Perry. The platypus salute him and headed out to prepare for tomorrow.
Camen Town, London, England, The Dalmatian House
It was just another day at 101 Dalmatian Street: pups were playing everywhere, making a mess and barking and howling as loud as they can. While Dylan trying to keep the pups in check and clean up their messes, Dolly stares out the window and sighs from sadness, which caught the attention of Doug (Dad) and Delilah (Mum). "What wrong, sweetheart?" Doug ask. "It just that it's summer now and I was hoping that we can all go to the beach again," Dolly said. "Yeah, so that she can see her summer boyfriend," Dylan tease, which caused Dolly to growl at him. "And we love to take you and all the pups there love, but your dad and I have to work because boh our jobs are understaffed," Delila said, which cause her to look more depressed. "Aw, looks like someone could use a hug," Doug said. Upon hearing the word "hug" a bunch of pups dog pile on Doug, causing Doug to laugh at his predicament as Dylan yells out "trigger word".
"Even without Spike around, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful summer," Delilah said kissing Dolly on the forehead. "Come on dear, don't want to be late for work," she said as she heads for the front door. "Coming honey," Doug said as he got out of the dogpile and follow Delilah out of the house.
"Wonderful summer, yeah right," mope Dolly as she thinks this was going to be the worst summer ever, without realizing that her summer is going to be the best ever.
