As the sun rises from the horizon and shines down the large shiny body of water, the sun rays lie on an island. An island with one large harbor filled with warships and girls. Some of them happened to be disappeared into a light blue aura before falling apart into millions of cubes and flying towards the girls. The girls jumped in the air and the light blue cubes start to form turrets and parts of the warship on them before landing on the water. These people are known as Ship Girls, and they're named after the famous warships around the world.
Azur Lane.
The main military force for mankind to fight off mysterious beings known as the Sirens. No one knows where they came from, but one thing for sure is that they tricked the Sakura Empire, which created a civil war between Azur lane and the Crimson Axis. However, that ended for about a few weeks when both factions realize their actions and joined the Azur Lane once again along with a new leader. The Commander. Humanity's strongest man.
Speaking about him...
The sun rays then pierced through the curtains in a large building where he was sleeping. He was snoring loudly and was all over the place on his bed. There was a gentle knock on his door, but he didn't respond. He worked his butt off on his paperwork last night. He hated it a lot.
"Master, are you awake?" Outside the door, the voice belonged to a beautiful maid with white hair, a French braid tied behind her head, and has purple eyes. "Master?" She asked, but didn't get any response from him. She sighed before bringing out a key to unlock the door to find him snoozing on his bed. She formed a soft smile as she walked over to the window quietly. She gently grabbed the curtains and opened them up, letting the light entering the room.
"AHHH, we're under attack" he screamed as he jumped off the bed, but face planted on the ground. The maid giggled when she saw his clumsiness. The Commander turned his brown eyes towards the maid as she bent over with a smile.
"Good morning, Master" she greeted him.
"Morning Belfast" he greeted back after realizing who it was. Ah yes, Belfast. The head maid and the Royal Navy's greatest light cruiser. He stood up on his feet before swatting the dust off his uniform with help from Belfast. She then grabbed his hat and handed it to him. The Commander smiled before putting on his head.
"So how's your sleep," he asked her as he walked towards his desk.
"It was good," she said walking towards the door and pulling a cart in the room. "I had a great dream last night, and it was amazing."
"What is your dream about?" Belfast only smiled when he said that. She put her finger against her lips and gazed at the Commander.
"It's a secret."
"Ehhh!" Belfast chuckled at his shocked expression. The commander knows Belfast ever since he arrived here. She's very polite and always obeys orders from Queen Elizabeth and the commander, but this is the very first time she didn't answer his question like she always does. The commander eased his expression up and decided to not push her further as much as his curiosity. Despite her occupation as the head maid of the Royal Navy, she is still a woman, and girls do tend to keep a secret. He watched Belfast still chuckling from his expression, which he finds very enjoyable. Her laugh is very cute, and he can hear it every day.
Belfast stopped laughing and stared at Commander.
"What about yours? What's your dream" she asked politely.
"To be honest, this is my first time not having a dream. I kept thinking about what happened yesterday," he responded. "After recruiting Baltimore, Alabama, and the others before fighting the Sirens, I've been thinking about their reason to fight against humans. They've said something about Evolution and Progress. What does that even mean? Why would they give their technologies to the Sakura Empire and the Ironblood in a short time? Why they didn't get rid of them first? Every enemy would do that, except them. It...It doesn't make sense."
Belfast widened her eyes. The commander's got a point. The Sirens would've easily wiped out the Sakura Empire and the Ironblood to reduce the defense of mankind, but they didn't. They offered the Ironblood some of the taste of their technologies and help out the Sakura Empire.
"So what do you think? Do you have any possible answers?" Belfast shook her head no. She had none. None at all in her head. "Tell Queen Elizabeth to come to the conference room around noon. I'm going to discuss this with the leaders and see what they think about this."
"Yes, my master" she replied. They both began walking to the door, and the commander opens the door for Belfast, leading them to his office. "Do you need anything before I go?"
"Hmmm give me scrambled eggs and toast would you?"
"Yes, my master," she said bowing down, lifting her skirt a little bit. And with that, she walked towards the main door and closed it behind her. The commander began walking towards his desk and sat down to find himself staring down on a pile of papers filled with documents. He moved the documents out of the way and grabbed a new paper, so he can create a document about the Siren's reason to fight.
"Siren's reasons...to...fight," he said to himself while writing it down. He wrote down all the stuff he remembered from yesterday. Evolution and progress. He also remembered them saying that they are little actors and test subjects, which also doesn't make any sense in what's so ever. Then, he stopped writing and put the den down on his desk. He should've told Belfast that Queen Elizabeth should come to the conference room right now. He couldn't wait any longer. He let out a sighed before spinning around in his chair. This work is a lot harder than the ones in school. His mind couldn't grasp a single thing about the Sirens...except one.
The commander stood up from his seat and began walking towards the bookshelves, which he moved the books, and part of the shelves opened up, revealing a glowing light blue cube. This glowing cube. He found it at the shore after the battle with the Sirens. This cube could be the same as the black cube that the Sakura Empire once possessed.
He had no idea what the heck will this thing would do to him, but it didn't consider he carried it back to base. But there is one thing for sure he knows that this cube is different than the black one. This cube looks like the same cube when ship girls transformed with their ships.
Just then, he heard a knock on his door. He quickly closed the vault and immediately turned around.
"Come in" he shouted, and the door opened up, revealing a girl from the Eagle Union. She has pink shoulder-length straight hair and pink eyes, wearing a military-style dressed with eleven stars like buttons. She is also wearing a sash with her name on it. "Ah, good morning Missouri."
"Morning Commander" she greeted him with a bright smile. Missouri, also known as Mighty Mo from the Iowa class. She is the Eagle Union's strongest battleship, capable of winning a fight with Bismarck and Tirpitz, and the famous battleship ever existed. Missouri is one of his secretaries of Azur Lane. She is passionate and cheerful while on the other hand; she gets pretty damn serious and ruthless in battle. "I was hoping that I'm going to be the one waking you up, but Belfast beat me before I could...Oh what a bummer." The commander chuckled before walking towards his desk.
Missouri began to notice that he didn't get started writing down on his stack of documents. She saw that there was only one piece of paper in front of him, and it doesn't belong to the stacks at all.
"What's this?" Missouri asked him while walking up to it.
"Well, something new and very important. I want to write down about the reasons that led up to this war, starting with the Sirens."
"Isn't it obvious? They're trying to wipe out humanity, and we're the ones going to stop them from doing so" she replied.
"Yet. Ever since Yesterday, things started to get interesting" he said moving the paper towards her. Missouri bent down and began reading it before fully understands what was going on. She was there during the battle as well, and there's no way she could ever forget what they said.
"Evolution and progress? Is there a chance that they are creating a superweapon?"
"Who knows. That might be the answer, but it just brought us closer to end the war if we find out what it is" he said, having flashbacks from the past events. One thing that he knows for sure. He had his reason to fight against the Siren. It's not about protecting humanity, it's also about justice. He wanted to give them a taste of his war for manipulating the Sakura Empire and the Ironblood. They caused so much trouble with everyone's lives, including having them fight each other and killing someone that they love. He remembered seeing Prince of Wales came close to crying when she lost Hood after fighting against Bismarck. Zuikaku almost losing Shoukaku, Enterprise, and Hornet losing Yorktown, Tirpitz, and U-556 losing Bismarck. The list goes on.
Missouri looked up and grabbed a document before sitting down next to him and began writing down the documents.
"So what are you planning," she asked him.
"I'm going on a meeting with the leaders and see if they could think of any answers. And I'm going to bring something to them" he said, making her lookup.
"What are you going to bring?" The commander stood up from his seat and began walking towards the bookshelves. He opened up the vault and show the cube to Missouri.
"Ehhh? That's...That's..."
"Wait, you know what's this thing is?" Missouri only nodded her head.
"It's a Wisdom cube. It's the same material that we ship girls are made out of. I heard that it can create anything by using your thoughts, fantasies, and desires." The commander widened his eyes when she said that.
'Did she said it can create anything by my thoughts, and desires.' The commander looked down at the Wisdom Cube. With that such kind of power, he can bring back Hood, Bismarck, and the others. But how though. He didn't get the chance to see them during the war before he became Azur Lane's commander. If he does this, the others would be happy to see them back in one piece.
He needs to find a way to bring them back. He also heard that Yamato and her sisters are the strongest of the Sakura Empire, and it goes the same thing as Bismarck.
If he brings them back to life, there is a good chance that they will win this war and end it for good.
"You said it can create anything by my thoughts. Correct?" He asked Missouri.
"Yes sir." The commander gazed down at the cube once again. He wrapped his fingers around it before bringing it out from the small vault. He closed his eyes gently and began to think. He didn't feel anything at all, but continue to think harder until he felt the cube began to vibrate.
"C-Commander" Missouri called out. The commander opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was the cube began to blow madly. It began to float in the air from his hands, and glow even brighter. The Commander and Missouri looked away as they felt like they disappeared within the light until it faded away. The Commander opened his eyes slowly as possible before looking around and landed his eyes on a ship girl that appeared in the room.
Missouri gasped to see who it is, and the Commander couldn't believe that it worked. The ship girl that appeared within the room is...
Aaaaand cliffhanger. This is my first story and the first time I wrote from a different franchise. So, you guys might have to help me out if you want like some information that is false, mainly the characters personality, the lore, etc. I'm only level 70 in the game. Anyways, speaking about the OC that haven't appeared in Azur Lane...yet. I want to give credit to dishwasher1910 (highly doubt he/she going to read this story). If you guys check out his artwork, ESPECIALLY Yamato, Texas, Iowa, and Musashi, do it right now. I don't think there is a picture of Missouri, and I want to draw her, but I'm terrible at drawing so lol. What did you guys think? Who is the Ship girl that appeared from the Wisdom Cube? I'm TheRavenMocker. Be a raven, mock the ravens. We'll see you guys on the next flight.
