jaune arc was in his dorm with his team they were talking about how the day went and how jaune actually managed to kill that Grimm on profs port class the red hair spartan was proud and happy of her leader performance, especially that he only started training since the day of the forever fall forest after he confronted the Ursa *by him self* she looked at him smiling, but she noticed that jaune was mostly staring at the roof as his mind was somewhere else he isn't normally like this, so, she got worried a little she let the other two members of the team talk will more like one talking while the other listen as nora didn't seem to let ren say word sometimes it seems like nora don't need air cause of how long she can talk without stopping Pyrrha walked to jaune's bad and set on the edge before she open her mouth to talk jaune cut her.
" iam fine pyrrha just got something in my mind, it's nothing important "
the red hair spartan blinked twice as that was new from her leader
"are you sure you seem pretty lost since that morning after port class did you get hurt while fighting the Boarbatusk if yes is fine I won't laugh" she said with worry in her eyes but it went away after seeing jaune smile and setting up to meet her gaze
"nah I managed not to get hit it just a feeling i have will I don't know how to describe it but don't worry it nothing it not the first time, I felt it and it never meant anything, it just something that swing by from time to time and before you say it I checked with a doctor before she said there were nothing wrong"
Pyrrha sighed as she smiled again "if you say so jaune I believe you either way we should get some rest we have class tomorrow, and it's getting late " she said as she stood up and went to turn off the lights jaune saw ren tug Nora in bad telling her is time to sleep as Nora seemed sad about it but didn't, 't complain mostly because ren stayed next to her till she sleep every time 'I can't believe they not actually couple yet ' jaune thought before the room got dark he can still see a little of pyrrha figure walking to her bed
jaune covered himself with his blanket and rest his head on the pillow still thinking about the weird feeling inside him that he got after killing any kind of Grimm 'no not any Grimm any new Grimm I killed or helped to kill ' as he did kill multiple Beowolf before he only got that feeling after killing the first one and when he helped to kill that Death Stalker back in the exam, and that major Ursa and now a Boarbatusk three times a pattern but 4 times is an omen but for what the doc said iam alright, and that could be adrenaline but that didn't add up why it only comes after killing Grimm or helping in killing it jaune sight as he looked at the time in his scroll 11:57pm he put his scroll away before drifting to sleep
jaune was running in the middle of the forest, but he wasn't running from Grimm actually he would prefer Grimm right by now while they won't get tired running after him he could still be safe as long as he stayed ahead of them as shots passed next to his ear hitting the tree he was passing by he cursed under his breath as he continued running
" I am sorry ruby for whatever I did I would get you candy cookies and strawberry if you forgive me " jaune said as tears in his eyes he can only hear the red reaper say "nope" before trying to shoot him again he rolled under a branch before taking a left than he starts to run in random directions hoping to lose ruby he end up in front of lake as a deer ran away as the boy got close to the lake jaune panted as he looked at the ground wondering how did he end a up being chased in the forest by every student in Beacon the boy legs finally give out looking down still before he hear someone coming he turned around to see an angry yang looking at him as she come closer she reload her weapon stood up in fear as he turned the other way to run, but he saw other side of the lake right in front of him pyrrha, and she were pointing her weapon twords him with a sad look as she open her mouth
" IAM sorry jaune it was nice knowing you"
tears seemed to run to down her checks jaune still confused on what happening, but he know facing yang would be a better option than pyrrha he turn around and ran to yang as she swing at him with a right hook he rolled under it, but he felt a grip on his foot before he could get back up yang had grape his left foot, and swing him to the ground in front of her
"don't you even think I will let you go that easy" she said as she jump up to land on him with a punch to the face jaune reflexes kicked in as he sent a palm to yang chased to try to push her away, but it didn't push her away as his eyes widened on the sigh hearing pyrrha behind him screaming in horror yang's name as he attract his hand out of yang body as it fall to the side no sign of life in it jaune couldn't move couldn't even form words as he looked at the lake behind him seeing his reflection as he heard ruby arrive and scream to yang he didn't care as he looked at his reflection seeing a pale boy with the white hair red crimson eyes, and blood covering some parts of his face yang's blood he set straight as a super sniper rifle aimed to his head as ruby took her shot on the monster who had killed her sister
woke up in panic swat ran down his whole body as he looked around the room he sigh in relive as all of that was just a dream he been never thankful of hearing nora loud snores beforejaune, but he was a little confused as he remember pyrrha turning off the light why it was on again he shrugged it off as he stood up and went to the bathroom seeing that the light is turned on here too
"okay maybe Nora or ren woke up entered the bathroom and didn't turn off the lights on her way to her bed"
He said as it's less likely for his partner and ren to do something like that he went to wash his face as he look into the mirror his face turned white-out of fear as his eyes were red just like the dream he panic on what that ment 'what if that was a vision dose this mean I will kill yang am I turning to a monster ' he though horrified he went to the door as he turned off the light to his surprise it instead caused the room to get brighter causing him to flinch as his eyes was adjusting to the light he looked at the switch as it was on now meaning it was off before he turned it again the light in the room was less bright, but it still seems like the light was on for the boy
"night vision? is that how it worked for funnus wait how did I get it to begin with?"
He said as he panicked out of the bathroom and the dorm room as he made his way to the infirmary, but he end up bumping into someone on his way as he fall back he look up at the person he pumped into seeing an angry blond lady
"Miss Glynda!! i am really sorry i was in the hurry to see miss ivory"
"and why that mr arc, especially on time like this" she said not happy with boy as the took out her crop
" cause of my red eyes, and my new ability to see in the dark please don't punish me" Glynda raise an eyebrow as she now noticed the red eyes that were looking at her "did you say that you can see in the dark ?" she said, making sure she heard right
"yes as if the light was on " he said as he stood back up from the ground
"hmm" she said as she checked the boy eyes causing shivers run down jaune back
" I guess I can't blame you but right now dr.ivory is asleep like the rest of the school, but I guess you can't sleep right now, so I will let you awake for a bit until the shook wear off till than I suggest hitting the training area you still very behind on my class mr.arc" she said as she start walking away "if you need anything else I will be in my class doing some paperwork before bed " she said before turning around the corner
jaune blinked twice before he reach his scroll not to find it "right I put it away before I slept" he turn back around to the direction of his dorm his wasn't panicking anymore but still worried he sigh as he know he can't just wake miss ivory for something could be as simple as his aura acting up 'eyes changing isn't weird yang eyes change when she use her sem-...blance ' than he realize that is it
"semblance that it that must be my semblance or side effect like yang iam not turning to a monster like I though" he laugh a bit as he reach his dorm as he whisper to himself "I hope"
he enter his dorm a check his scroll as he see it's 12:39am he look at it confused on why he's not feeling sleepy he barley got an hour of sleep maybe he still little shocked but if he not going to sleep is better to be protective with his time as miss Goodwitch suggest he changed to his fighting gear that being his normal attire took his scroll and his weapon before going to the training room
he entered the room as he decided to work on his footing with his weapon as Pyrrha told him, he set his scroll to play music while he train he walked to the center of the room as he started swinging while keeping his footing right 'it shouldn't take long before I need to go to sleep' he thought

jaune was sweating like a river, but he wasn't tiered he kept training as if there is no tomorrow the only thing that stopped him is the notification his scroll made when it goes under 5% charge jaune looked at the scroll confused.
"I swear it was 59% when we started how is it 4% now"
He walked to his scroll while putting away his sword that felt much lighter than before he looked at and his eyes widened as the time now is 6:37 am he realized that he been training for almost 6 hours he took the scroll and ran to his dorm he put his scroll in the charger as he took his school uniform to the shower with him to get quick shower and change for class he existed the bathroom fresh as he looked at his still sleeping team he forget to wake them up
"everyone wake up we going to be late let's go Nora yang gone eat all the pancakes in the mass hell" jaune said this, and Nora blurred next to him to the bathroom Pyrrha and ren still opening there eyes confused
ren just changed in front of his bed as Nora existed from the bathroom in uniform 5 min later after everyone got changed jaune didn't get to tell her to hurry as he saw her blur outside the room while saying " I will break your lags xiolong "
ren and Pyrrha looked at the now missing door before looking at jaune
"okay my bad but hey she won't make us late now, and what you two waiting for an invention hurry" he said as he ran behind nora followed by Pyrrha and ren

" if this ever happen again iam burning your comics" she said with serious face
" What!!! no you can't they very dear to me" the little girl said with tears almost running down her eyes that it surprised both the demon and black haired girl next to her.
"jaune what time is it?" The Sleeping Beauty said with her beautiful red hair down
"it almost 7 you won't have time to shower just change quick in the kitchen quick yo- we over slept" he said as he went to ren and started to shake him like Nora to wake him up
Pyrrha was still processing what was said "wait wh-" she fall off the bed cause of her hurry, but she stood back up in sec took her uniform and hid in the kitchen
"listen weiss get close to any of these comics and I will brake your spine you hear me" the blond girl said as fire light up in her hair and her eyes turned red causing everyone near her to get further as they don't want to be in the middle
weiss could only look in horror at the blond girl as she backed off "alright not touching them but I will still punish you if you do it again"
"okay I promise I will be more responsible" the little girl said as she saw weiss roll her eyes she turned around to her sister to see her looking at her with the look saying *really now* "what I promised"
"exactly" weiss and yang said in the same time "rubbs you always go back on your words I still waiting for the free diner you promised me" the blond girl said
"that was 5 years ago I was only 10 I am a different person now yang" she said while looking mad at yang will she still looked cute
"and yet, I didn't get it and remember when you promised weiss that you will stay quite on the way to the dust shop she almost snapped at you cause you couldn't stay silent for 5 minutes or that one time you promised jaune you will help him with his grimm studies it took him a month before realizing you weren't going to show up in the library you need to learn from him he never back away from a word he give no mater what" yang said to her little sister before ruby got the change to say something weiss beat her to it
" as much as he is annoying I respect that part of him it shows how much pride he have for is family name, so I agree with yang you should learn from him"
ruby can only roll her eyes as she realize "speaking of jaune where is he and the rest of the team I didn't see any of them this morning"
"now you mention it whe-" yang got cut off as door got launched into the other side and orange haired girl jump at the table in front of yang glaring with anger at yang
yang looked confused but prepared for fight "hey Nora happy to see you door-bed in " she said as everyone started to groan at this pun
"you shouldn't have eaten my pancakes " she said and was about to ATK yang, but she was held off by her leader "Nora!!, yang didn't eat any pancake I said that to make you Hurry" jaune said as yang got confused on what is happing, but she got sad now she would have loved a good fight
"Oh! jaune!!! i was about to break her legs don't lie like that again" Nora said as she broke of jaune hold looking angry at him "that will cost you 3 plates of pancakes with honey on top mister"
jaune nod as he walked to yang to apologize "I am very sorry that was the fastest way to get her up " he apologized being ashamed at that moment Pyrrha and ren arrive being out of breath keeping up with jaune and Nora wasn't easy
"will i accept it if you get me a drink for free " yang said as she took look hand on his eyes she smirked "oh I see you got a little of new look, but honestly I prefer the blue more the red it doesn't suit you"
jaune only raise an eyebrow on the comment "red? um what are we talking about exactly?" he said in confusion.
"your red eyes, did you forget you wearing them or what" she said, giving him a surprised look she watch him as he seemed try to process what was said till he relies on
"ahh right my eyes are red now I didn't mean to I think that just my semblance I just woke with them like that " he said he still not sure if it's a semblance or not but right now that it seem like the most logical thing yang would understand her semblance did the same
"Oh? Hey just like me so what yours does " yang said but there talk cut short as prof Oobleck enter the classroom
"everyone take your seats and ms valkyrie you will fix the damage this weekend for both your dorm and class doors " he said as everyone took there seats

the students exist the classroom with a minor headache for trying to keep up with the teacher " Imagine him raping he would say 2000 world per sec iam telling you" yang said holding her head " definitely I feel bad for his team having to keep up with him for at lest 4 years" jaune said walking behind yang
"AHH right jaune what is your semblance?" ruby said in an existed voice she been dying to know since she learned that he unlocked his today
"ehh?" jaune said looking back at ruby
"Yes, fearless leader spell the beans can you shot laser from your eyes is that why they red? or can you copy a other people semblances, and your eyes change to the eye cooler of the person you're using there semblance or-"
jaune cut Nora before she start her endless possibilities " I am not sure but right now I can see clearly in the dark " he said as he heard few get disappointed
"will that was anti-climatic it would have been cool if you can just copy others, but it just gives night vision that really disappointing I would call a faunas if I need eyes in the dark" yang said while looking at jaune
"but that doesn't mean that all what it can do semblances can be more powerful than what they let on take weiss semblance For example, she can do so much with a single circle can slow time to summoning grimm that fight for her" Pyrrha said as everyone else looked at weiss in surprise
"what that's my family semblance every one knows that and no I still need a lot of training before I can summon grimm"
Nora and ruby got really disappointed as both wanted to ride some kind of grimm "either way it shows how semblances can be and how they evolve so jaune's semblance could be more powerful than that and it just still getting unlocked and I think it has done something to jaune endurance after all he were able to keep up with nora even though two weeks ago, you couldn't keep up with ren "
Every one look at jaune again but now that Pyrrha mention it jaune were able to train for 6 hours straight without stopping to take break keep up with an angry Nora stay awake in whole class without even feeling sleepy all of that, and he only got one hour of sleep, and he still feels very energetic " huh actually you might be on to something I didn't even get tiered running behind nora " he said to confirm what Pyrrha said
"hmm? I suggest checking your aura pool if that the case your semblance might have increased it ,when I unlocked my semblance my aura pool increased to double that day" weiss added up.
"Will do that later after I check with Mrs ivory " jaune said as most people looked at him in confusion.
"who?" everyone said minus ren and yang "UMM the nurse of our school come one guys you had have met her in the infirmary" yang said looking at her friends as they looked back in surprise
"we have a infirmary?" every one said again minus ren yang and jaune
"I thought you just go to normal hospital in vale when you get hurt" weiss said
"I wouldn't know I never needed to go there myself" Pyrrha add

"Excuse me guys where do you guys thing the guy that i broke his arm went last Friday I had to visit multiple people there to apologize for going a little hard on them" she said dumbfounded by her friends.

"Just some check ups my semblance does make me have hard time to tell what I feel even if it's pain, so I go check up weakly just in case" he said to them as the girls now know why calm all the time
they continue walking to the mass hell ruby and pyrrha got there own food and food for jaune when he comes
"Hey sis may I ask why were you eyeing vomit boy since we left class has you finally figure out your true feelings twords him? Should I prepares the wedding from now?" yang said in teasing tone ruby just rolled her eyes but Pyrrha was flinching as she looked worried " yang me and jaune just friends and you know that I was just worried he seemed out of it a little and haven't you noticed how he jumped when I got close as if he was scared of something " ruby said in worried tone Pyrrha relaxed a little knowing ruby doesn't have feelings for jaune too but was worried still as what ruby said was true.
"will he did stay up all night without sleep that would make anyone a bit jumpy " Nora said before stuffing her mouth with more pancakes as everyone looked at her
"what it yes not as good as ren's but it still good" Nora said looking back at them

"When did he sleep? " Pyrrha asked looking at nora " I take it you know"
"I don't know he only came back to the dorm to wake us he might have sneaked in before, and he didn't wake me but when he wake us he was coming from outside and jaune not that stealthy to sneak around without me waking up" nora replied
"I can confirm that nora is a very light sleeper " ren said
everyone mins weiss nora ren and yang was worried "I can't believe it but what if hear me out jaune slept somewhere different or with someone" yang were able to see Pyrrha eyes widened yang shot a smirk to her" I mean jaune is a handsome nice guy a lot of girls would like that who said he didn't score himself a one already " Pyrrha heart broke hearing yang words
"I doubt it no desperate women would end up with him" weiss stated continue her food " I am sure anyone would be lucky to be with jaune no one is as heartless as you ice queen " Pyrrha said to weiss causing the young princess to choke on her food
" hhhhh not bad start Pyrrha but still weak either way weiss what you think he was doing than all night if he really stayed all night he would have shown on him, but he was more energetic and more focused in class so where could he slept if not in his room are you saying jaune was stealthy enough to come in come out without nora noticing " yang said waiting for the response, but it never came as weiss sigh as she given up "heck he might have pulled a quick one on us and exactly went to meet her instead of going to the nurse" Pyrrha stopped eating at this point
"aww do you think is velvet" ruby said all excited " she normally would have been here in the mass hell by now, but we haven't seen her all day " she was happy for her friend finding someone spacial even cuddling with them in bad
" actually she might be jaune did show that he love rabbits and did stand up for her once yes he got beaten up for it but the though count" yang said as she imagine jaune and velvet together yep it's nice pairing even if velvet is older
"speaking of jaune here he is coming" ruby said as she saw her friend enter the mass hell she waved for him to come he saw her and smile to her, but ren noticed that jaune was worried before seeing them no one else seemed to notice jaune made his way to them as he set next to Pyrrha and ruby
"so how it went through guy?" yang asked in a teasing tone and smirk jaune seemed confused "umm it went well not much to say she says iam just fine no need to worry"
"oh you were just fine last night nothing much?" yang said still teasing blake was the first one who coughed on what yang ment only people who didn't were jaune and ruby "yes?" jaune said sounding more confused, but he shrugged it off he looked at his food that they got for him, but he didn't dig in
"something wrong jaune you not eating" ruby question him "ahh no there isn't just not hungry now, i will eat later"
"okay so what you guys going to do tonight I gone go to a night club if someone want to join me tonight" yang said looking at everyone
"I will go to call my parents didn't talk to them since I got here so, it will take a while to end the call" Pyrrha said she do miss her parents a lot it wasn't easy to leave mistral without them
" I have to study and do the homework Mr Oobleck g-" weiss cut off by a voice shouting saying "doctor" coming from the classroom weiss sigh " doc Oobleck I mean, and you guys should do it too"
"but that boring, me and ren will go check on the weapon store I planing to get new upgrades on my baby than we will go to eat some sweets" ren sigh as it looks like he doesn't want to, but he have to
"I will go to the emerald forest to train a bit" jaune said as everyone looked at him surprised " what I do train " jaune stated
"we know it just you not the kind to go to trouble with your two feet" ruby said "are you sure you okay, and that nothing wrong" ruby said looking at him with puppy eyes "yes iam sure is just kind interested in what my semblance could do I know I can see in the dark and have more energy than normal was kind hoping to see if more stuff will show while fighting" he said with smile everyone seem to get what he means "will if that the case I will come with" ruby said jumping of the table "...ehh?" jaune could only say
"oh I am very carious about your semblance, and I am your friend not including that I have nothing to do and killing grimm does sound good"
" alright we will go tell miss Glynda after you finish your food" jaune said smiling yeah he definitely doesn't mind having friend with him but his mind kept drifting to what miss ivory said
'jaune you're insides are missing!!!' jaune remember what she said
