sam tells her cabin a story from greenwood pretty much it. (this is a one-shot and this was for English so there are random number things I'm too lazy to delete)
"Sam it's your turn to tell a story"
"What" Sam turns Ashley "what about Vanessa she hasn't gone"
"We all want to hear a story from you" Ashley argues "you seem like you were a troublemaker child"
"I mean you're not wrong but I don't want too" [4] hiding from Ashley's persistent gaze sam leans back on her bed
"Come on we've all told stories some weirder than others" Ashley shot a look at Elizabeth who told a story about how she first got rejected by a boy because she had a big fat pimple on her nose at the time.
"What my story was interesting"
"Sure" Ashley turns her gaze back to sam "now Sam tell us a story"
"Ugh fine" [3]Slowly Sam gets ups back up and repositions herself to tell the story "this is one of my favorite memories that I can remember perfectly"
[3]Unsurpisingly i, Samantha Dahl, was one reckless nine-year-old.[1] I feared almost nothing and refused to do anything remotely girly and my parents didn't agree with that which only made me more rebelious. The day this story takes place was when I was playing with my best friends Mia and Lucas Orfeo. We were back in the magical Greenwood and I was the knight trying to save prince Lucas from the evil sorceress mia. [2] on a quest to find prince Lucas, I was searching the woods for him. This was just the beginning of my reckless adventure although i didn't know at the time.
[1]I was searching the woods to no avail and decided to climb a tree to get a better view. I decided it would be better to search from above where I can look out across the forest further in contrast to the ground where my view was limited due to the tall trees. I found a perfect tree, it was the tallest around. I climbed higher and higher until I believed I couldn't go any higher unless I wanted to break a bone. I precariously balanced myself on the tree when I heard a sound from below.
"Sammy, where are you"
I lost my foothold on the tree.
Before I knew it I was falling through the tree hitting branch after branch.
"Sammy?" Lucas looked up at where the thumping sound was coming from above. "Sammy! Oh my!"
I hit a few more branches and landed on Lucas
"Ugh" Lucas groans "that hurt"
"You're talking to the person who just fell from a tree" I rolled off of Lucas. I was covered in leaves and sticks. [6]I didn't care. my leg was throbbing in pain. I was used to falling from trees so I shrugged it off. "Well we best continue before mia finds us"
"Sammy, can we please just sit here for a bit" Lucas begged. "You just landed on top of me from falling from a tree."
"Fine"
[4]Sitting there in silence for a few minutes we enjoyed the peaceful nature of the forest there when mia came around a tree
"You know you're supposed to be trying to get back to the treehouse not sit here and be lazy bums" [1]mia exclaimed in one of her sassiest voices until she saw sam "sam are you okay"
"Yeah I'm fine" I tried to get up but failed
"What did you do sam" mia ran over to me and helped me up
"I fell from a tree" I replied "I should be fine though"
"You sure don't look fine" [3]carefully mia helped me over to a nearby tree and sat me down, "covered in leaves and all"
"What about the person she fell on" Lucas whine who is still laying on the ground where I landed on him
"Lucas you're fine" mia waves him off, not giving a glance "you don't look half as bad sam does right now"
"But still…"
"Lucas you're fine" mia shuts him up "your the oldest here, stop being such a baby"
"Fine"
"Well we should probably head back to our house and get Sam patched up" Mia helped me up and Lucas got up and came over to help. Our walk back took surprisingly longer than we thought it would since i couldn't walk but we got there eventually. falling from the tree did more damage than I thought it did
"I ended up breaking my leg, which was the second broken bone that year. I broke my arm earlier that year just to prove to Lucas I could be a knight" sam laughed to herself "hope you enjoyed that story"
"Geez sam your so reckless" Vanessa laughed "even now you would whoop the PSF's butt if they messed with us"
"Yeah I would"
"Sam should tell us more of her stories sometime" Elizabeth suggested
"Yeah their better than stories about rejection" Ashley piped in
"Ashley like I said it was interesting"
[6]Sam laughed. She truly missed greenwood, lucas and mia. The memories she made with them she'll forever cherish. [5]as Sam rolled into bed and drifted off to sleep she thought about all the wonderful memories she made with lucas and mia that she would never forgot because of her green abilities. tomorrow would be another day at thurmond. [2]At least she still had the memories of the broken bones and adventures sam made all those years ago locked in her memory forever.
