A/n: SOME of the events that I'll be encoding in this story will be based on personal experiences. And also Tsukishima will be shorter than Yamaguchi... Enjoy :)

A child with blond hair, golden brown eyes, pale skin, slim body and black rimmed glasses was staring out the window with a longing gaze. He hears his mom exclaim...

"I'm home!"

The child ran to his mother and gave her a hug, his mother carried him and said "Be careful. It's not good for you to run," the child looks down and asked "Mom? When can I go to school like Nii-san?"

His mother smiled and said "My baby. That depends on the future if you're capable of taking care of your health," the child hugs his mother and asks "Then... Can Yamaguchi come over? It's lonely,"

His mother replied "He can come over after his school. Just wait for him," and the child nods. His mother puts him down and says "I bought strawberry cake that you always love,"

The eyes of the child sparkled and exclaims "Yay! Strawberry cake!" he goes to the dinning room with his mother, who gave him a slice.

"Thanks mom!" the child exclaims, smiling and began eating his cake. "You're welcome, Kei,"

Hours passed, and Akiteru arrived from school. "I'm home!" he exclaimed. Kei ran to his brother, gave him a big hug, a big smile and exclaimed "Nii-san! Welcome back!"

Akiteru pats the head of his brother and said "You should stop running, okay? If you want to be healthier then, be careful," making Kei nod.

"Welcome back, Akiteru!" his mother exclaimed and continues "You should get changed," Akiteru nods and goes to his room to get changed.

Then, someone knocks on the door. Kei's mother opened the door, "Oh! Come in!" she exclaims. A child with green hair enters the living room with his mother. "Tsukki!" the child exclaims and gave him a hug.

"Yamaguchi!" Kei exclaims and returns the hug. "I missed you," Tadashi says and the blond says the same...

The two children sat on the couch and talked, "How was school?" Kei asks curiously. "School? It was fine. Nothing new," Tadashi replies. "I wanna go to a school to in the future," Kei says.

"I'm sure you will," says the his friend. They continue to take with each other as the time passed.

After 2 hours, Tadashi had to go home. "Kei, you should go back to bed," said his mother. "Okay!" exclaims Kei and went to bed, drifting into a deep sleep, and dreaming about the outside world.

Present Year

Kei opened his eyes, he sits up and sighed "That dream again," he shrugged it off, got ready for school and head to the dinning room. "Goodmorning," Kei says.

"Goodmorning, Kei," says his mother and brother in unison. He takes a seat and eats his breakfast. After, he grabs his bag and plugged his headset to his phone, "I'll be off!" he exclaims and left.

He stepped out of the house and heard, "Goodmorning, Tsukki!" he turned his head and said "'Morning,"

"Did you do your homework?" Tadashi asks, making Kei nod in response. Tadashi thought ' It's kinda hard to accept the fact that Tsukki changed a lot '

"What are you looking at?" Kei asks, raising an eyebrow. Tadashi smiles and shakes his head, and the blond sighs.

Karasuno

The two enters the classroom and go to their seat. "Goodmorning!" Hinata exclaims enthusiastically. "Boke Hinata boke!" Kageyama exclaims.

"Why are you calling me an idiot?! I just said goodmorning!" Hinata exclaims annoyed. Kei rolls his eyes and wait for the bell to ring.

"Tsukishima-san," Yachi said. Kei looks at her "Yes?" he asks. "Sugawara-san was asking me why you didn't attend practice," Yachi says. Kei sighs and replies "No reason... I didn't feel like it,"

Tadashi looks at Tsukishima worriedly knowing that what his friend said was... A lie... A big lie... "What's wrong, Yamaguchi?" Hinata asks. Tadashi smiles and replies "It's nothing. I was just thinking about something,"

"And also... Why didn't four-eyes attend yesterday's practice?" Kageyama asks. Kei glances at Tadashi, "Oh... He just said that he didn't feel like it," he replied.

"Huh?! What the hell? That's such a bad excuse!" Kageyama exclaims. "Shut up, King," Kei says, annoyed. "Stop calling me that!" Kageyama exclaims, making Kei roll his eyes.

The bell then rings, the students go to their own seats, the teacher entered the classroom and class began.

Time Skip

The four first years get changed into their volleyball uniform and head to the gym. When they entered the gym, two people exclaimed...

"Tsukishima!!!"

Kei dodges the two second years who were running towards him and the two hit the floor with their face. "Pfft-," Kei laughs at the two.

"Damn you Tsukishima!!!" the two exclaims. "Nishinoya! Tanaka! Stop it!" their captain, Daichi exclaimed. "Why us?! It was his fault!" the two exclaims annoyed. "It was your fault for running towards me," Kei says.

Daichi sighs and says "Anyways... Why didn't you attend practice yesterday?" "Why is everyone asking me this?" Kei mumbles annoyed. "Oh! It's because, he didn't feel like it!" Hinata exclaims.

"And how do you know?" Daichi asks. "It's because, I told them this morning," Kei replies. Daichi face palms and says "Extra 2 laps for you,"

Kei groaned and Tadashi glances at his friend worriedly. "Fine. Whatever," Kei says, Tadashi walks over to his friend and whispers "Are you sure about this?"

Kei says "Yup... It's just an extra 2 laps anyways," "If you say so..." Tadashi then says. Sugawara walks over to the two and says "You better explain to the coach,"

"I know. I'm not dumb," Kei says and went to explain to the coach and gets scolded.

After running laps, they get started with their practice. Kei was benched for the time being and then... Was called to practice his blocks.

Minutes passed, the team noticed something off, except for Tadashi, since he knows what was wrong with his friend... Something was wrong. From strong blocks, it gradually became weaker.

Tadashi exclaims "Coach! Please hold the practice for a while!"
