Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back for another story. This one about Medaka Box. Enjoy the 800-word. I don't own Medaka Box, Nisio Isin and a few others do.

There were always skilled warriors in life. They were quite warriors which couldn't afford to deal with life.

Then again? Most enjoyed the challenge, they enjoyed the ability to test their mettle against others, to throw themselves into the crucible of battle.

"You know, this is quite unusual, master Denji." The young man heard as he brushed off his jacket. "You've been training for months… Least, that's what I've observed." Denji heard as he turned.

"Never a bad time to get some exercise, Lecter." Denji stated as he cracked his fingers. "Then again? I think I pulled something." Denji muttered as he turned to look to the side.

"Maybe, but it's time to take some time off at the moment." Lecter said as he hummed. "Besides, there will be nothing left to train for at the moment." Lecter said as he shook his head.

Denji clicked his tongue once more. He pointed to himself with a raised eyebrow and then sighed.

"I cant believe you, Lecter." Denji stated while he rubbed at his temples. "Plus? You've the one who helped make this combat trial. It's been here and there." Denji said and leaned on the wall.

He took a seat on the sofa. There were so many thoughts rushing through his head. So many he wanted to think about. However? Now he was simply curious about what to do next.

"We cant keep pushing you through the wall." Lecter said with a hum as he thought to himself. "I want to point out that I made that battle regiment when you weren't hurt." Lecter said while adjusting a portrait.

"And?" Denji said to his family butler. "You know for a fact that I enjoy this. I do it to relax, to keep quiet. There's not much excitement left in the world these days." Denji stated while crossing his legs under him.

He leaned back in his sofa. Lecter snapped his fingers once and then looked up.

"Should I point out that most people aren't rich and well equipped?" Lecter questioned to his master. "This home is full of things that could be used to keep busy. Least of all when it comes to entertainment with sport, Master Denji." Lecter stated as he thought of something to do at the moment.

"Money cant buy everything, Lect." Denji said while thinking to himself. "There's quite a lot to discuss." Denji stated as he clicked his thought to himself.

"Perhaps… But quite a few things to consider." Denji heard Lecter point out as he hummed.

"Like the lack of thinking on how to do things." Lecter put in to which Denji nodded. "Yes, there's plenty to unpack. You know, your parents assigned me to take care of you. Least when they aren't here at the moment." Lecter pointed out while Denji hummed.

"To be fair? They have jobs to handle at the moment?" Denji said while pushing himself to his feet. "Plus, I want to point out that I've been dealing with plenty. You know that." Denji said with a sigh.

Lecter nodded while he slowly walked up to his charge, so much was different. So Many things were no longer the same, they were changed.

"Maybe, but that's what you enjoy about life, isn't it?" Lecter asked his friend and master. "The constant rolling of dice? Throwing things around and constantly questioning if your live or die?" Lecter questioned as he turned around once more.

Denji rubbed at his chin. He knew very well that Lecter had a point. There was always going to be new things to consider. New battles to think about.

"Doesn't mean I don't get scared at the moment." Denji stated with a hum. "I've spent several minutes today just thinking. So much thinking, and I'm sick of it. I want some action, something that can and will get me thinking." Denji said with a renewed sense of purpose.

He was done thinking, just eager to get into the action. Denji said nothing while walking out the door.

Denji gave a nod to Lecter and left, ready to be back in the action once more.

"Oy, this is going to be quite getting used to." Denji said to himself.

He had no idea what he was getting into.

Phew. First chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be delayed and such. Next chapter will be in 2-9 months and will show Denji meeting Medaka and such. Next chapter will be 1200 words and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
