Gaius breathed in the fresh air as he stepped out of the Railway Station. After a long train ride from Nord, he had finally made it. He finally made it to Trista. A white peddle elegantly fluttered by his face, barely tickling his nose. He had never been to Erebonia before, so he was unsure what the name of pedal that was. But if he had to make a guess, he would say that these were the pedals from those trees that grew white flowers. It was quite—

Something hit his back.

"Ack!" A feminine voice cried as he heard a thud against the pavement.

He turned around. Looked to the left. Looked to the right. Then down.

He saw a young woman, who appeared to have landed butt first on the ground. She was at least half his size, had long but slightly unkempt black hair that reached to her lower back, and large lilac eyes. She wore a red blazer—which funnily enough was the same colored blazer he was wearing—a gray plaid skirt, and black leggings.

He wasn't going to lie; she was pretty.

She rubbed her forehead. "Ow..."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

The girl looked up at him, then smiled. "No, you're fine. I wasn't looking where I was going..."

She proceeded to get up, but stopped when she saw Gaius' hand being offered to her. She didn't think much of it and grabbed his hand, allowing him to help her up.

The girl then immediately realized two things. One, "Yeesh, this guy is tall." and "Why is he wearing the same colored blazer as I am?"

"I really am sorry, I shouldn't have been standing there for so long."

"No, you're fine, really. I should've been looking where I was going, otherwise, this wouldn't happen."

Gaius nodded. "Alright then. Anyway, I've gotta get going. The speech may start soon..."

She smiled. "Okay then, I hope to see you again soon!"

"As do I." As he walked away, he wondered if he really would see that girl again.

Little did he know that he was walking into a den of vipers.

Alisa rubbed the crown of her head to ease the pain as she sat in an upright position. "That hurt... Who would drop a bunch of kids down a hole like that?" She looked around for the girl she sat next to during the speech. "Hey Rean, are you o—"

What she saw next completely mortified her. She saw Rean, on top of Gaius. His face was stuffed between her boobs. His arms were raised into the air, trying to make it clear that—if that was his intention—wasn't his intention.

"...kay..."

Rean opened her eyes and didn't immediately realize what kind of predicament she was in at first. "Is everyone alright?" She asked.

Everyone just stared.

"Why are you guys looking at me like that?"

Gaius's muffled voice broke the silence. "U-Um, I'm having a hard time breathing..."

Rean nearly had a heart attack as she heard those words. In a blur, she got up, face matching the color of her blazer.

The tall boy took a deep breath and got up too. He was completely flustered. "O-Oh my god, I'm so sorry!"

She could barely even turn thoughts into words as she finally came up with a response. "N-N-N-Not your fault at all! Nope! Not one bit! C-Completely my fault!" She said with a frantic smile.

"No, this was my fault! I knew—well, I didn't know—but I was only trying to save you from the fall I wasn't expecting—"

Gaius was then smacked in the face. Not by Rean, but by Alisa.

After some...stuff happened, there were now six out of the original nine students in the dungeon entrance. Everyone was prepared to begin the trek.

"Want to come with us, Rean?" Asked Alisa, standing next to Emma.

She looked at the two of them, then turned her head to look at Gaius. He had a red spot on his left cheek and he looked so ashamed in himself. Rean couldn't help but feel bad for what she made him go through. "Perhaps some time apart would be best..."

She nodded. "Sure."

"I will look after Elliot and Gaius." Said Laura, as she stood between the two boys.

Alisa nodded, but it was noticeable that she didn't agree with the blue haired girl's decision. "You do what you want." She said as politely as possible before grabbing Rean by the arm.

"Um, have a nice time?" Elliot called out as the three girls left.

Gaius let out a defeated sigh as his shoulders slumped forwards.

Laura patted him on the shoulder. "That was most unfortunate. But it was just an accident."

He nodded and said, "I know..."

Thankfully, things got much better between the two of them as time went on.

AN: I don't know how I came up with this idea but here it is. If you want to make a full fledged story out of this then go ahead, you have a thumbs up from me. This may become a series of one-shots if I ever feel up to it. Anyway, thank you for reading.
