AN: Hello this is my first genshin fic and this will take place post 1.4 quest . This is also assumed that the fallen stars event has already been done. Lumine will also be the MC for this particular AU. This also will be from different characters perspectives not just Lumine's. There will be OC's as well as a bit of a different canon. Welp let's get started. Teyvat is waiting for their hero.
Lumine was stunned by the events that just took place. She went from following her Paimon around this foreign land to flying in the sky and combating a raging dragon to finding out her brother was the leader of an evil cult. She decided she wanted to help the people of Tevayt, realizing this may bring her closer to her brother. And right now this would clear her mind before the inevitable talk with Barbatos the bard about his possibly deplorable actions.
She was just about to leave the Knights of Favoinious headquarters before she heard Lisa calling her by her signature nickname "Before you go cutie, come to my library I may be able to provide you with a book that can give you some more understanding of mondstat." The mature woman said, gesturing to them to follow with her gloved hand.
She walked into her library stunning Lumines and Paimon at the sheer size of the archive in front of them once again like every other time they entered. "Anagi sweetie I need your help, can you please go find me that second edition of the travel guide"
A tall boy walked out from behind a bookshelf sighing. He had light purple hair that matched his violet eyes. "Mom why on earth do you need that and if I may be so frank who are these two" he said folding his arms as Lisa pinches the boys cheek
"Wait MOM Lisa how old ar-" Paimon said before in a flash Anagi had his hand on the fairies mouth "if you don't want to become a nice roasted chicken I suggest you don't finish that"
Lumine looked to Lisa, as the older women laughed her hand sitting over her mouth "don't worry it's a compliment, it just means I am truly ageless. Anyway this is the traveller I was telling you about earlier."
Lumine and Paimon introduced themselves as Anagi smiled and waved "Anagi Menci the libraries only worker because when your the owners son they don't have to pay you."
he said as Lisa started moving her hand around "I need the travel guide sweetie" she said forming a purple rose in her hand that she pointed at her son. Nagi ran off to retrieve the item as well as getting away from Lisa. "Um Lisa, you seem to know a lot. Do you happen to know where venti is?"
Lumine asked as Lisa thought to herself" Hmm I do actually. He is usually at Diluc bar singing for wine. He is quite good if you ask me but if you ask little Nagi well" she said looking over to the boy who just came back with a medium sized book in his hand.
"Well I say he is a drunk pain in the ass." he handed Lumine the book as she smiled before Lisa shot up "I have a perfect idea, Nagi sweetie I have some things to attend to can you do your lovely mother a favor and show Lumine around mondstat. You may find that you two could be useful to each other"
His shoulders dropped as he looked at her defeated. "Oh perk up I even heard Fischl just got back from an expedition with Bennet so you two can safeguard our Honorary Knight together" She said winking at the boy as Nagi nodded and walked Lumine out of the library and headed to the adventures guild.
" So I see you and Lisa are close, it must be nice having such an informed parent at home" Paimon said, floating around the boy. He smirked and looked at the fairy. "Before you ask no, she is not my mother by birth, she just looked after me."
He said as Paimon scratched her head sheepishly after her intentions were revealed. " It's ok you didn't need to answer" she said as Lumine popped her companions back for being rude. Lumine never understood how Paimon knew so much about teyvat but so little about people. "It's fine someone has to protect her "womanly charm" and if I don't do it who will." he said as he smiled toward a girl who was to say the least very noticeable.
"The princezin understands the mortal conundrum that plagues your mind and fear not for I Fischl von Luftschloss Narfidort will wash away the sea of perils that cast over the city of wind" Kathryne blinked smiling as she looked to oz "What mein fraulein means is if there is anything she can do she is happy to help"
As Oz said this as Anagi whistled causing the girl to jump and wave" Oh hello my consort of darkness how keen of you to come and greet your gracious ruler" she said as he walked up and gave her a hug and nodded at Lumine to come over.
" Fisch this is the amazing traveller that Lisa was talking about" Lumine walked over slowly to the one eyed girl" Its ok we have met. Fischl I didn't know that the great prinzessin had a loyal consort " she said mimicking Fischl's exaggerated movements as Kathryne called over to them
" Well this seems to be the perfect solution to my problem there is a commission I need done but the adventures guild is busy dealing with the Abyss mages in wolvendom." she said as Fischl huffed and put her hand over her covered eye. "Great messenger of Mondstat it seem fate has truly shined down upon you for the great prinzessin and her loyal con-"
She stopped as Anagi lightly tapped her forehead causing her to cover it with her hands "Sorry a- I mean Fischl but this seems to be important and I would hate to burden you any further as you are a very busy women right my prinzessin"
he said signaling to kathryne to continue as Fischl nodded putting back on her usual airs. " There have been some strange activities in the thousands wind temple. They have been mostly safe until recently however. There seems to have been a much larger number of monsters there as of late and even eye's of the storm have started to congregate. "
Lumine nodded " So basically we are playing cleanup crew well that won't be too hard" Anagi nodded '' yep should be quick ok lets go I'm sure it's just a few mitachurls" when they arrived it was much more than a few mitachurls.
They hid on Starsnatch cliff watching the template below. Eye's of storm were everywhere as what looked like entire hillichurl camps and at the center abyss mages. "It JuSt A fEw MiTaChUrLs" Lumine mocked as Nagi rolled his eyes.
" oh whatever so I was off by a few it's fine plus arent you our honorary knight this should be easy hmm." he said as oz went down to get a closer look. "I see the dastardly Creatures of the shadowed well have populated nature's behemoths as well as these Churls of the hill." she said as Paimon blinked at her.
"She means that the abyss is behind it." Nagi said to the shocked Paimon."You understand her!?" she shouted as Fischl giggiled "of course he does act as MY loyal consort he is well versed in the speech of the Immernachtreich " He laughed as he patted her head
"Basically I know her very well , after all that comes with bei-" he said before Fischl pinched him blushing" Her loyal consort, do not dare question the prinzessin again or lightning will come down and smite you bwahahaha" he said in a monotone fashion.
Fischl punched him in the side as he stood up smiling and laughing to himself "Well I think it's time we get down to business after the monsters won't clear themselves" he said, summoning his polearm.
It had two sharp blades that were curved inward and one that jutted out in a black and purple design with lighting coming down its hilt similar to the deathmatch she had seen in shops. Fischl stood smiling holding a bow that matched the colors of Anagis polearm. Lumined nodded "Lets take out the eyes after that the body will be easy pickings"
