New Moon Nightmare
A month has passed since Kagura attempted. To take Koga's jewel shards and betray Naraku. Since Then Kagura has been keeping her head down. She also has been trying to earn Naraku's trust. It's night and Kagura is on her way back to Naraku's castle. She looked up at the sky. And noticed that the moon is almost gone.
"Soon it will be a new moon." stated Kagura to herself
Just then Kagura remember that she saw. Inuyasha in his human form last month. As she flew on her feather Kagura is thinking.
"Maybe if I kill Inuyasha while he is in his human state. Ans take is body to Naraku. Maybe Naraku will reward me." thought Kagura
With that thought in mind Kagura returned to Naraku's castle. The next day with Inuyasha and his group. They have been traveling most of the day. Clouds have been gathering all day. Just then it started rain hard. Inuyasha took of his his robe of the fire rat. And draped it over Kagome to keep her dry. Since it's raining so hard they decided to find shelter. What they don't know is that Kagura has sent out saimyosho. To find Inuyasha and his group. Soon the insects found the group. The saimyosho kept their distance. So they aren't being discovered. Soon Inuyasha's group found an abandoned hut. Miroku and Inuyasha gathered firewood then went into the hut.
Inuyasha built a fire and they sat around it to dry off. The saimyosho left and went back to Kagura. They let her know where Inuyasha's group is. The woman smirked and went outside. She got on her feather and flew off. Kagura knew it would be dark when she gets there. Soon it's dark and most of Inuyasha's group is asleep. All are asleep except Inuyasha and the group is warm and dry. Inuyasha looked outside and saw that it has stopped raining. He saw that they are almost out of firewood. So he decided to go get some more. He went to get his fire rat. But Kagome is all cuddled up with it. Not wanting to disturb Kagome. Inuyasha just decided to go out and get more firewood.
The black haired male is trying not to go far from the hut. Inuyasha is a good twenty feet from the hut. He has found some sticks and twigs and is picking them up. Just then the wind picked up and Inuyasha looked around. He turned and saw Kagura.
"Kagura what the hell do you want?" asked Inuyasha
"I'm here to kill you and take your body to Naraku." replied Kagura with a smirk
"Feh I'd like to see you try it." dared Inuyasha
To protect himself Inuyasha took Tessaiga. Sheath and all from his sash. Kagura got out her fan and prepared to fight,.
"Let's get this over with Dance of Blades!" yelled Kagura
Inuyasha managed to block some of the blades. And the other blades wized by. Inuyasha went to run back to the hut. But Kagura yelled "You aren't going anywhere! Dance of the dragon!" Twisters of wind appeared and blocked his way. Inuyasha is trying to dodge Kagura's attacks. And he decided to run in a different direction. Not wanting Inuyasha to get away. Kagura kept attacking by either using Dance of blades. Or dance of the dragon. Inuyasha even tried to sneak up on Kagura. To stab her with Tessaiga. But it didn't work and Kagura used dance of blades. Now Inuyasha is bleeding and on the run and yelling for his friends.
"Guys wake up I need your help!" yelled Inuyasha
"Shut up and die!" yelled Kagura
What Inuyasha and Kagura don't know is that they are headed toward a river. Back at the hut Kirara and Shippo woke up thinking that they heard something. Shippo looked around and didn't see Inuyasha. His eyes went wide and yelled "Hey everyone wake up! Inuyasha isn't here!" Sango, Miroku, and Kagome woke. And they also noticed that Inuyasha is gone. Miroku put out the fire and they went outside. Kirara transformed and Sango and Miroku got on her back. Kagome got on her bike and Shippo got into the basket. Shippo sniffed the air then pointed and said "I can smell Inuyasha's scent coming from over there." They took off in the direction that Shippo pointed in.
With Inuyasha he's bleeding bad and his is getting blurry. And he and Kagura are getting closer to the river. Just then Kagura used dance of blades. Inuyasha stumbled over a rock and fell into the river. Kagura went to go get Inuyasha out of the river. But just then Sango's hiraikotsu flew by Kagura. She looked and saw Sango and Miroku on Kirara. Kagome is below and got ready with her bow and arrow.
"Kagura what the heck are you doing here?" asked Kagome
"Non of your damn business. I'll be going now I'll be back to look for a body." replied Kagura
With that said Kagura took off on her feather. Kagome looked up at Sango and asked "Do you see Inuyasha?" Sango and Miroku looked around and don't see anything. Shippo sniffed the air and said "I can smell Inuyasha's blood." He pointed down the river and the group headed off. They followed the river trying to find Inuyasha. Ahead of then is Inuyasha and he's out cold. And his body is headed for a waterfall. Above him is Kagura who is trying to catch up to him. Down bellow on Kirara Sango and Miroku can see something in the river.
"Kagome there is something in the river!" yelled Sango
"Oh no you don't Inuyasha is mine!" yelled Kagura
"Sango you and Miroku take care of Kagura! I'll go ahead!" yelled Kagome
Sango nodded and threw her hiraikotsu at Kagura. Kagome pedaled as fast as she can.
"Umm Kagome I can hear a waterfall" cautioned Shippo
Unfortunately Inuyasha's body went over the waterfall and it's still dark. Kagome got off of her bike and she and Shippo. Climbed down the cliff down to the river below. Luckily they found that Inuyasha had washed up onto the river bank. Kagome pulled him away from the river. She can see that Inuyasha is out cold and is bleeding. Unfortunately her first aid kit and Inuyasha's fire rat. Are in the basket on her bike. Ten minutes later Sango, Miroku, and Kirara arrived. They managed to chase Kagura away. And luckily Miroku has Kagome's bike.
"We should find shelter just in case Kagura comes back." suggested Miroku
"I did see a big mansion as we chased Kagura away." stated Sango
"If we go that way we'll wind up in the Northern Lands." informed Shippo
"I know but we need shelter. And I need to take care of Inuyasha." stated Kagome
Kagome and Shippo got on Kirara's back. Miroku carefully picked up Inuyasha and laid him on Kagome's lap. Then he picked up Kagome's bike and followed Kirara. They arrives at the mansion as it was getting light out. The guards saw the group and stopped them.
"Please can we take shelter here. Our friend is hurt and we could be attacked." coaxed Miroku
Just then Shippo looked and saw a tall male demon.
"Umm guys there is a demon coming out of the mansion." gulped Shippo
The group looked and saw a tall demon with pointed ears, coffee brown hair and blue eyes. He looked at the group then at his guards.
"Forgive us My Lord we were about to send then away." stated the guard
"Please Lord of the mansion our friends is hurt. And we could be attacked. By Naraku's incarnation Kagura." begged Kagome
Just then the sun rose and Inuyasha's demon power returned. His hair went from black to silver-white, his dog ears returned, and so did his claws. And he moaned as he changed. The demon lord looked at the group again and saw that Inuyasha had changed.
"Tell me what is your friend's name?"asked the demon lord
"Hi name is Inuyasha." replied Kagome
"Guards let them in." ordered the demon lord
The guards let the group in and the demon lord. Lead them inside the mansion. He lead them to a room and said "Lay your friends down my healer will tend to him." Miroku laid Inuyasha down on a bed. Just then a female healer came into the room.
"Come you must be tired and hungry." stated the demon lord.
The group followed the demon lord to a dinning room. They all sat down then servants brought in food. As they ate Miroku asked "Why did you want to know out friend's name?"
"When I first saw him he looked different. But after the sun rose he had changed." stated the demon lord
"That's because Inuyasha is a half demon. And I'm sure you know what happens. To half demons once a month." informed Sango
Yes I do know what happens to half demons once a month." assured the demon lord
After eating the healer came into the dinning room.
"My Lord I took care of Inuyasha just as you asked." stated the healer
"How is he?" asked the demon lord
"He has lost a lot of blood and he's out cold. But he should be fine." replied the healer
"Thank you please take good care of him." thanked the demon lord
The healer bowed and left the dinning room.
"Why are being so nice now that you know. That our friend is Inuyasha?" asked Kagome
"That's because I knew his father. And I've been trying to help Inuyasha. Ever since his mother died but it's been difficult." informed the demon lord
"You knew Inuyasha's father." marveled Kagome
"Yes I did Toga and I grew up together. My name is Osamu. And his parents and my parents met while looking for food. Both of out parents hit it off. So they decided to stick together. Toga and I became fast friends. We stuck together ever after our parents died. And ever after he took over the western lands. And I took over the northern lands we stayed in touch. I remember when he was married to Harauna Sesshomaru's mother. Also remember when she left him when Sesshomaru was 250 years old. I also remember him coming tell me about Izayoi." informed Osamu
Osamu stopped and tears started coming to his eyes.
"And I remember hearing about Toga's death. I sent out some spies to find Izayoi. Luckily she found a village to live in and raise Inuyasha. I found out his named thanks to my spies. Izayoi lived in that village until she died. She died when Inuyasha was 10 years old. I tried to find Inuyasha so I could take him in. But he must of learned to hide very well. Because my spies never found him. I didn't hear anything about him. Until I heard that a half demon matching his description. Was in the eastern lands falling in love with a priestess. Not long after that I heard that he was pinned to a tree. It wasn't until recently that I heard talk of Inuyasha." explained Osamu
"Wow that's quite a story." stated Shippo
"It's all true my young friend." assured Osamu
At Naraku's castle Kagura told Naraku. That she tried to kill Inuyasha. So that she could bring his body to him. But Inuyasha's friends got in her way. Naraku praised her for at least trying. Three days later Inuyasha's group is still at Osamu's mansion. Inuyasha's wounds have healed but he is still out cold. Kagome is sitting next to the bed with Shippo. Sango, Miroku, and Kirara are exploring the mansion grounds. With Kagome and Shippo they can hear Inuyasha moaning. Kagome watched as Inuyasha opened his eyes.
"Hey Inuyasha are you alright?"asked Kagome
"I'm a bit sore but other than that I'm ok." replied Inuyasha
Soon Sango, Miroku, and Kirara came in to the room. Inuyasha is glad to see his friends. He looked around and asked "Where are we?"
"We are in a mansion in the Northern lands. The demon Lord Osamu has been very kind to us." replied Kagome
Just then the group heard someone come into the room.
"On my, my ears are ringing someone is talking about me." stated Osamu
"Good news Lord Osamu Inuyasha has just came too." Kagome chimed
Inuyasha looked and saw a tall demon. With pointed ears, coffee brown hair, blue eyes, and wearing blue clothes. The demon lord looked down at Inuyasha and smiled.
"Hello Inuyasha I'm Osamu I knew your father." informed Osamu
The demon lord sat down and told Inuyasha. The same story that he told his friends. After he was done Inuyasha looked at Osamu.
"Thank you for at least trying to. Find and help me when I was younger." thanked Inuyasha
Two days later Inuyasha is up and around. He feels much better and wants to get going.
"Thank you so much for your hospitality Lord Osamu." thanked Miroku
"You're welcome it was my pleasure." assured Osamu
'And thank you for telling us. The story about you and my Father. Up until now I didn't know much about him." thanked Inuyasha
"No problem Inuyasha telling the story. Brought back good and bad memories." stated Osamu
Inuyasha and his friends left Osamu's mansion. And continued their journey to defeat Naraku. As the years went by Osamu. Kept tabs on Inuyasha and heard about Naraku's defeat. He even visited Inuyasha from time to time. During the three years Inuyasha was separated from Kagome. And he was happy to hear when Kagome returned. He even paid the couple a visit not long after got married. And Osamu was over moon when he heard. When Inuyasha became a father. Osamu kept tabs and visited Inuyasha and his family. Until the old demon became ill and passed away.
