Years ago, in Quinping City, a bioluminescent baby was born. The first individual to ever have a 'quirk'. Over time quirks started popping up more and more frequently until special became the norm and society looked straight out of a comic book. A new profession rose to the top as people misused their powers for self gain. Soon heroes entered the scene. They were soon accepted by the public and funded by the government, and the profession Pro Hero became a thing. The job became a dream among many young people, but one boy not only had the will power but the strength to do it as well, Izuku Midoriya.
Izuku Midoriya excelled in not only his studies but as well as his physical training. His mother a was a renown quirkoligist and genist. She had developed the quirk evolution theory earning her a Nobel Prize. His father was the current number 3 hero, Hawks also known as Reigo Midoriya, having taken the name of his adoptive father. Izuku had developed a slightly different version of Hawks quirk called Peregrine. He had all of the abilities of Hawks' Fierce Wings, but he could dive up to 380 km/h and his wings were the same shade of green as his hair.
Izuku attended Ongaku Private Academy along with his best friend, Kyoka Jiro, daugter of the lead singer in a popular rock band. They both wanted to be heroes and both believed they could do it. Izuku had wanted to be a hero ever since he had first seen his dad do his job. Izuku wanted to save people, to see that joyful smile on someone's face when they were saved. He believed if you could make people smile, you could die with no regrets.
"IZUKUUUUU!" He barely dodged a speeding bullet about to ram him. He turned to look at Mina Ashido, who for the life of him he couldn't figure out if she liked him or she was like that all of the time. Ashido had been payed a large sum of money for her acid which the government had figured out how to put in bullets. Izuku pulled out his phone and texted Jiro and the last 3 members of his friend group, Minoru Mineta, Fumikage Tokoyami, and Mezo Shogi. Mineta arrived quickly, short and pervy as always. Izuku really did have to get him to shake off that perviness. Tokoyami and his sentient quirk Dark Shadow were hot on his tail.
"YOU LITTLE PERV! JIRO'S GONNA KILL ME!"
"HAHA! IZUKU HIDE ME BEFORE SHE FINDS ME!" Mineta screamed as he tried to hide behind Izuku's wings.
"MINETA, SHOGI! I'M GOING TO MURDER YOU, YOU LITTLE PERVS! YOU TRY TO SET CAMERAS IN MY WINDOW EVER AGAIN, I'LL THROW YOUR HEAD IN A DEEP FRYER AND SERVE IT AT MCDONALDS!" Jiro rounded the corner and upon seeing Izuku stopped and her face softened, Then she saw one of Shogi's eye from around the corner and Mineta's hair-balls peeking over Izuku's wing.
Shogi was there as he had won a raffle earning him a full scholarship for the junior high school. Mineta was there as his father owned the biggest juice company in the world, as he could produce any fruit from his head, making it easy to get started.
Jiro then proceeded to shock him to the ground with powerful soundwaves in his ear, and shot her other jack in Shogi's eye. Izuku shook his head, picked up Mineta and dragged him over to where his(Izuku's) locker was. He grabbed his books and put them in special detachable pockets he had added on the underside of his wings to hold things. Tokoyami met with him soon and told him the story.
"Mineta paid Shogi 2000(about $18 USD) yen for him to carry a camera up to where Jiro's window was, only for Jiro to see it."
Fumikage was there as he inherited everything his previous (very rich) uncle owned before he was run over.
Izuku nodded while frowing. He made a note in his phone to set up a torture TV to get Mineta to stop. He walked over to his Homeroom classroom with Mezo, Kyoka and Ashido joining up with him along the way. He waved to other students, as he was student council president.
he sat down and his teacher started the day. It all kind of blurred together until it was time to leave. Izuku walked with Fumikage and Kyoka today, as the two were neighbours and he could fly to his house. Mineta lived a block away, so he joined them.
When they reached their houses, Kyoka and Fumikage went into their respective houses, both of them waving goodbye before Minoru ran to his house a Izuki took off. He had gotten a special pass to fly around because of his father. He climbed the air his altitude shooting with every downstroke. He reached the clouds and a automatic part of his quirk activated which was his much larger lungs and his faster heart. The air thinned out and he stqrted breathing heavily. He spotted his house with his raptor vision and started diving -the best part of flying. He turned on his spedometer and peaked at 391 meters per hour. He pulled up about 100-150 feet off the ground, his speed carrying him down.
He did wide circles and landed on a special pad made for him and his father to land on. He opened the elevator dopr and made his way down to the living room where his mom was doing work.
"How was your day, Izuku?"
"Fine, mom. I've got some homework."
He walked up to his room, turned on a podcast and finished his small amount of homework he didn't finish in class. He proceeded to read a favorite manga of his about a man who died and was reborn in a different world as a slime. It was really interesting until Izuku smelled Katsudon and raced downstairs, using his feathers and having them carry his feet so he was floating towards the food.
He arrived just as his mom put the plate at his spot and he started to dig in. The elevator dinged and his father stepped out, on his dinner break before he went back out.
"What's up Inko? You have fun today little green?"
"I applied to U.A. today! I'm halfway to becoming a hero! And I've got recommendation fron the number 3 hero, number 6 hero Mirko, number 2 Hero Endeavor, and my mom who's a genius! Plus, Shoto will be at the entrance exams!" Izuku had become friends with Shoto as kids since Hawks and Endeavor were close friends.
...
"Hmmm. All For One has been weirdly active lately. As well as that new villain, the Handman." Hawks muttered to himself as he flew over to a nearby robbery. He quickly saved everyone, got news about a riot of villains in the next town over and flew there, wishing he could dive as fast as Izuku.
At the recommendation entrance exams, Izuku was found talking with Shoto Todoroki. Nearby was Momo Yaoyorozu and Setsuna Tokage, both listening in on the conversation. The exam was announced to start in 39 seconds, and Shoto and Izuku both walked over to the starting position. Izuku waved at the girls and walked away.

Izuku aced the exam, only being beaten in one category, which was the race. He was up against Inasa Yoarashi though, who kept shooting glares at Shoto for some reason.

A week later, Izuku got a letter saying that he got into U.A. and they had a small party to celebrate, not only for him but also for his friend group as they had all gotten in. (Weird...) All in all, they made up about a third of the class of 20.

Izuku flew in, meeting up with his friends who had just arrived via Shoto's private chaffeur. He landed next to Mezo and started walking with them. A girl with brown hair approached them and bowed in front of Jiro.
"You're the one who saved me from the 0 pointer in the exam. I sincerely thank you. My name's Ochaco Uraraka!"
"Kyoka Jiro." "Mezo Shogi." "Izuku Midoriya." ...this went on until they were all introduced.
They walked to class Uraraka joining them in the walk after revealing she was class 1-A as well. They walked through the door to see a blue haired guy wearing glasses shouting at some pissed-looking blonde dude.
"BAKUGO YOU CANNOT DISGRACE U.A. LIKE THIS!"
"Shut up, four-eyes."
Bakugo went to do something with his hand but looked at it in confusion as Izuku could only guess his quirk didn't activate. He looked over and saw eraserhead with his hair floating around him and his eyes glowing red.
'Guess I'm in for a doozy.'
Hello, and welcome to the AUTHOR'S NOTES!
Some things I'd like to clear up: This will NOT be a TodoDeku fic, it will probably end up being IzuOcha or IzuJiro. Izuku's quirk in this is essentially a stronger version of Hawks'. Also I know Hawks' name is Reigo Takami, but Izuku Takami didn't sound right to me.
Sorry if it seemed rushed, I wanted to get to the goodart but we have to get through the beginning first.
Bakugo's quirk will cause some PTSD next chapter because of some things. Plot might get much darker, and I'm still not sure whether or not to go through with the hero plan.
