Random Pokemon Story
I want to tell you a story, A story of a horrible Pokemon experience that happened many years ago but the span of this tale is over many years as well.
I suppose I should start off with what started this experience. It was when Emerald came to the U.S I played it many times through by the point the horrible thing accouared.
I was starting a new game and I named myself Trixie. It was normal until Norman. "What are you doing here?" he asked." That stunned me. Why would he ask that? I had 4 badges right?" The text box disappeared after that. I opened the menu and found the name on my trainer card had changed from Trixie to Emily.
"How did that happen?" Everyone had called me Trixie up until now. Emily was my sister's name. I called my sister into my name and asked if she had touched my Emerald copy.
"Yeah. I did. You told me I could trade my Graveler to evolve it as long as I did the same with your Haunter." she said.
"No, I mean did you delete my save and start a new game on my game without my permission?"
"No I didn't. I'm going back to my room." She said and left my room but I grabbed her arm and showed her my trainer card. Her mouth dropped open. " I swear I didn't touch it."
"I believe you." I said and looked back at my badges. All 8 were there. I checked my Pokemon. My team was as it always is except they were fully evolved (for the ones that weren't) and all at level 100. My Swampert, Gengar, Flygon, Skarmory, Gardevoir, and Linoone
"What the hell is going on?" Emily asked. The game then just shut off.
"That's weird. I know I had a full battery when I started." I told her but mostly to myself. The system never worked with Emerald again.
A few years went by until Diamond and Pearl came out. I picked up Diamond. Emily got Pearl. We decided that when the games came out we were going to complete the Pokedex with just one starter section missing. I started the game but it went to where I left off on Emerald. "That's odd." I said aloud
"What's up bro?" Emily asked
"You remember when that weird thing happened in Emerald a few years ago. Well it seems like this game entered me back there." I said and showed her. Everything was as it was before my Emerald stopped working.
"Try battling Norman." She told me and I did but now his text was different
"It's time to battle." He said and of course I destroyed him. Then his text spelled out a message that shocked me and Emily to the core. "You will now sink into the darkness."
I suddenly sucked into the game but it restarted as. "Pokemon Blue" I said
"What happened to you?" My sister asked. I could her through the mic on the DS
"I will give you infinite battery but if you shut off the system then your brother will be lost to the Pokemon world forever." a text box appeared
"So all she has to do is beat the first four generations with me as her character. That won't be hard." I said.
"Yes but be warned this won't be the last time you will be warped into a game."
"Emily let's do this." I said to her.
"Alright but one rule. No backseat gaming." She said
"Fine." I told her
It took a couple sleepless nights but she made it through the first four gen's. After I was out safe. She fell asleep and I could tell she needed it. "Thank you Emily."
My name is Lucy. This is my story, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are on the horizon. I don't want to be absorbed into another game. Pls help me. If you play Pokemon Emerald make sure to beat it.
