"Why me?" Is the question a teenager, Jack Darby, asks himself since going to Cybertron. Being given a Matrix of Leadership just like the one Optimus Prime has put a lot of stress on his body. He became sleep deprived, he has constant pains, he rarely eats now because he keeps purging anything he eats a few minutes after consuming it, but he powers through it and tries to hide it.

1. Prologue

Not everything stays the same.

I learned that at a young age.

I learned when things change you need to adapt and adapt quickly.

I learned that people can change how they feel about you because of that change.

I learned that people will act differently around you because of that change.

I learned that life can go from safe to life threatening.

I wasn't prepared for what was to come before that change.

I was foolish thinking that nothing was going to change about my life.

I was stupid for thinking I wouldn't be harmed.

I was naiver back then...
