Chapter 1: Death and Life

Hello this is my first fanfiction, and English isn't my native language.

(Prologue)
In 2134 the world is a horrible place to live in.
At this time earth is nothing but a dust ball in space.
The air is so polluted that breathing is impossible without wearing a gas mask.
Almost all trees and forests are destroyed.
After the third World War only the ashes remains of the former earth.
The mega corporations are the ones who control the world as they like and they are taking the world towards more destruction.
The world is so rotten that to escape this horrible reality people use Dive gears to experience that they cannot.
In the world of DMMO-RPG games there is a game which is at the top.
That is YGGDRASIL , but after running for 12 years tonight this game is going to be shut down Forever.
Suzuki Satoru is a ordinary middle aged Japanese salary man.
He has no family left, when he was eight years old his parents died in an accident.
His life was not easy.
After his parents died he worked for 9 hours as a delivery boy just to earn enough money to live and get a decent education.
If he doesn't get a decent education he won't get a job.
And if he doesn't have a job he will definitely die.
In this cruel world living is the hardest thing to do.
The only reason of living for him is his favorite DMMO-RPG game YGGDERSIL. For 12 years he played this game. For him this is his real world. But alas all of this will end tonight, not like it matters now.
As he was going back to his apartment he mused to himself 'less than a month to live hugh? It's not like I have something left to live for'.
It has been ten days since he found out that he has cancer.
As for the doctors report they said that he will not live long if he wouldn't have an operation.
Even if he wanted to he could not have it.
The expense is far to much.
Even in this situation he has to go to work.
He felt like his body is burning, he could feel how weak his body has become.
'Do I have any food left ? just have to find out I guess' thought to himself as he was passing by a store.
As he entered his apartment he removed his face mask to go have some dinner.
Unfortunately for him there was no food left and as he could not do nothing he ate the neutrition paste left out last night.
'Beggars can't be choosers' thought as he ate it.
After that he put on his Dive gear and logged into YGGDRASIL.
In here he was Momonga one of the top three PVP players and the guild master of one of the top ten guilds Ainz Ooal Gown.
He is an 'Overlord Dark Emperor' a Hybrid Warrior.
He can both cast high level magic and hold his own in the front lines.
He got the Dark Emperor class from the last big event from defeating the World Devourer aslo know as the strongest world enemy the 'World Eater'.
Many players complained that this is cheating.
In a way it is.
But the developers didn't give a shit about it.
At this level not even Touch-Me could beat him.
After Taking the class of 'Dark Emperor' on his back there was a pair of huge majestic black angel wings.
Now he wears an obsidian dark armor made out of one of the strongest metals on YGGDRASIL which has dark runes and violet patterns on it.
On its chest there is the golden crest of Ainz Ooal Gown.
Over the armor he wears his usual dark and violet robe.
Even though it's stats are high Touch-Me's world champion armors stats are much more greater.
On his waist he has his devine class weapon 'Dark Excalibur'.
It was the top prize of the event of 'King Arthur'.
The sword had a dark crystal like hilt and it had black and golden patterns around its sheath.
There is a dark menacing aura around the blade.
The greatest ability of this sword is when a player is killed by it the exp of the player is absorbed by it and empowers itself.
The power of this sword is second only to the staff of Ainz Ooal Gown.
Great Tomb of Nazarick
Ninth Floor, Conference Room
As he logged in he teleported to the conference room to meet his friends but his heart fell when he saw no one logged in.
'So no one came , what was I even expecting?' as he thought about it there was a depressed, sad and angry aura around him.
Because he wanted to make the last day of YGGDRASIL memorable so he sent emails to the last eleven remaining members.
But none of them came, none of them even gave a reply.
He was frustrated because he knew this is the last time he will meet with his friends.
He wanted to spend the last moments of his life with his friends, then he saw the 40 empty seats around him.
Every time he saw those chairs his heart sank deeper and deeper.
He waited for ten minutes to see if anyone came but to his disappointment no one did.
He looked at the watch to see how much time remains till the shut down.

There's only five minutes left and no one still came.
He felt like his heart was breaking into thousand of pieces.
He could not stay here for longer.
He had thought to spend the last moments in the throne room.
But he wanted to clear his mind.
So he teleported outside of Nazarick.
At the entrance of the tomb he saw the artificial dark sky of Hellhime.
Players were burning through their stock of fire crackers to lit up the sky.
He opened his black wings and flew to the sky.
As he was up in the sky he was remembering the fun times they had, the game they played, the jokes they said.
The raids they went in, the time they built nazarick.

'Only if they wore here, only if I had a family, only if I had a reason to live for, only if..'he thought for the last time.
He could feel the burst of tears on his cheek so he closed his eyes.

'I don't want it all to end, I want to live !' he cried out in his mind.
He didn't want it all to end like this.

At that moment he felt like he couldn't breathe and his vision was getting blurry, he felt himself getting enveloped around darkness.
After some time his heart stopped beating.
And Suzuki Satoru died.
Kingdom of Re-Estize

In the middle of night in a well lit room a woman was trying her best to bear her pain.
The husband was outside the room keeping patience and praying for them.
After some time the pain of the women got less and she thought that in any moment she would hear the sweet cry of the child.
But to her surprise the child did not cry.
Even the house maids were surprised that the child did not cry.
First they thought that the child was dead or unhealthy.
But after examination they found that the child was perfectly healthy.
Slowly the Husband was losing his patience.
All of a sudden he did not hear any noise.
His heart skipped a beat.
The man burst through the door in panic saying, "Linda ! What happened?! Are you alright ? Is the baby alright ?!".
But when he saw the baby on the arms of his wife his heart felt calm.
He saw they both had a expression of curiosity on them.
That's what he thought."Ahh, Jake don't worry our baby is both fine and healthy" Linda replied with a motherly smile.
She put her hands forward to give the baby to her husband's arms.
He came forward to take the baby with shaking arms.
At this moment Jake felt like the happiest man in the world.
Then he stared his joy filled eyes at the boy.
Even after getting out of his mothers arm the boy did not cry.
He was a bit surprised to see the boy had black hair and red pupils.
To him it looked like the boy was looking at him with confusion.
"Isn't our boy the cutest ?"the wife asked.
The husband replied,"Yes he is, and he will do great things in the future.
By the way did you pick any names for him?".
The wife gave him a small smile and replied,"Yes I did . Ryne . Ryne Brinewood . Do you like it?".
The wife was a little unsure.
She was never good at naming.
The husband gave a heart whelming smile and said,"Like it? I love it!".
They were sitting side by side and looking at their new born son with happy faces.
At that moment there was only one thing running through the boys head,"Just what the hell is happening ?!".
The Next morning
Jake Brinewood the guild master of the magicians guild was eating his breakfast in his home.
He is a man in his late twentys.
He has Brown hair and emerald eyes and has a decent built for a magic caster.
He could cast magic up to the third tier.
Recently he has been promoted to the rank of guild master.
The former guild master Theo Rakishir his teacher was assassinated.
At that moment he was the highest rank mage so he was promoted to guild master.
He had a hunch that the 'Eight Fingers' is behind all of this.
Sitting next to him is his wife Linda Brinewood.
In a word she is a beautiful woman.
She is in her twentys.
She has blue hair and light blue eyes and a modest bust with an athletic built.
She is a former Mithril rank Adventurer.
She was a spear woman , one year ago she went on a mission of monster extermination with her team in the great forest of tob.
There was a demi-human tribe living nearby.
Unfortunately they got attacked by the demi-humans so they had to fight, at that fight all of her teammates died besides her.
After that she left the life of an adventurer.
In many ways they are living a life of happiness.
They live in a two story house and there is a beautiful lawn infront of the house. They have two maids to do all the chores and works.
Jake and Linda both were watching the maid with amusement because she was trying to make their son smile.
If anyone says that Suzuki/Ryne was confused and annoyed that would be an understatement.
"What the hell is she doing ? Does she think that face is going to make me laugh? If I was a child I would have gotten a heart attack from that !" he thought as he wore a frown in his face.
After seeing the frown on his face the maid gave a sly smile that she tried.
She is the first maid Dinna, she has a chubby face and a fat nose, she does the cooking, cleaning and takes care of the house.
The other maid is Liya, she is a tall women with red hair and a pretty face. She does all the other chores of the house.
When Suzuki Satoru woke he found himself in a body of a new born child. He tried to find out what actually happen? was he dreaming ? did someone kidnapped him? or is he in some kind of mind control effect. He was never a religious being, but if some omnipotent god has sent him here he would definitely like to know the reason for it and what is his purpose ?
The last thing he remembers that he was playing his favorite DMMO-RPG.
After some time he understood these two are his parents.
"Really ? they each look ten years younger than me . And what's up with their getup they look like cosplayers . Where in the world am I .Did I really got isekaied like in anime and light novels", he thought confused.
'And why the hell are they looking at me with those puppy dog eyes' he thought frowning.
"Dear I'm going to the guild . I'll be back at night, take care.",Jake said as he was leaving.
"Bye honey, come back soon.", said Linda after they both kissed.
Which made Ryne a little fluster, which didn't go unnoticed by both of them.
They both hugged Ryne and kissed him on the cheek.
Which made Ryne both more fluster and a happy kind of feeling.
'So this is what family love means.
It feels nice' he thought to himself.
As Jake was ready to leave they heard a glass breaking noise.
They saw Liya has broken a tea cup by accident.
"Please forgive for my mistake lady Linda, It won't happen agai- ahhh!",she exclaimed in pain.
In a hurry she accidentally cut her hand.
"Don't worry about the cup but the blood from the wound isn't stop flowing , Jack would you please heal her hand", Linda asked Jake.
'Hugh what does she mean by heal her ?' Ryan thought confused.
"Of course dear, Liya put your hand forward",Jake said to the maid.
"Yes master", Liya said and put her hand forward.
Ryne was looking at his 'father' with great curiosity.
Then he casted.
[Light Heal]
At that single moment Rynes eyes went as wide as they could.
'T-th-that's a se-sec-second tier YGGDRASIL low heal spell ! How does magic exists here? how the hell does YGGDRASIL magic exists here? Is this a world in YGGDRASIL?!' as one after another question start getting inside his head he looks at his father jaw opend.
"Th-Thank you master", Liya went to her work after getting healed.
As Jake saw Ryne looking at him with amazement he felt a bit of pride.
"So you like magic hugh ? Maybe tomorrow I'll show you some tricks",Jake said as he left a completely dumbstruck Ryne who's world has just been flipped over.
