A/N: I don't own crap.

Argent D'Nur...

Somewhere into a forest valley on the outskirts of Sentinel Prime. A flash of dark blue light lit up the nightmare. As it faded, it revealed a ginger male boy, who wore a red scarf around his neck, a pair of gray-blue denim Dungeness with a red and white lined long sleeve shirt underneath, along with dark brown finger gloves and matching boots. On his head, he wears a burlap mask which covers the entirety of his head and hides his face.

This boy was none other than Edward 'Eddie' Mason, a Grave Keeper. He groaned in pain as he dropped his knees, clutching onto his shovel for support. As his vision returns, he looks down to find a massive bloody gash in his stomach.

He doesn't remember how he got here, has no memories about his past, only his name and life. One minute, he was on earth, the next thing he got teleported.

And now, he is here, alone badly wounded, and stranded in an unfamiliar location.

"Dammit," Eddie muttered.

As the pain was getting worse, he had no medicine or bandages to help it, he started to pass out.

Suddenly by two tall men who were approaching from his left. Though they resembled knights with their plate armor and spears, their armor was sleeker and had neon blue lights and visors, with the tips of their spears energized with the same color.

They quickly made their way down to him.

Just as Eddie lost his grip on the shovel and fell over. One of the knights caught him and began speaking to him.

"Are you alright?"

"I... don't feel so well." Eddie's vision started to fade.

Clinic…

Blue flames lit the castle-like room of the Clinic as Argenta Sages, human-like doctors in long white cloaks, began to mend the wounds of the Burmecian Dragoon. One of the Sentinels from earlier was standing guard, curiously overlooking the surgical process.

One of the Sages walks towards him. "He is stable. His physiology is surprisingly similar to that of the Argenta. He'll survive. He is fortunate that you found him when you did."

"Good. Were you able to learn anything else about him?"

The Sage walks over to a table, where Eddie's mask and shovel were arranged. "Judging by him out, he is most likely a warrior or a killer from his home, wherever that may be. A fearsome one, too, considering the scent of blood that follows him, and the gore that stains his attire seems not entirely of his own."

On the medical bed, Eddie groaned softly as he awoke, his eyes opening. He sat up, looking up to spot the Sage and Sentinel. "Where...where the holy hell am I?"

"Easy." the Sage assured him. "You are at the Sage's Clinic within Sentinel Prime, on Argent D'Nur, in case you were wondering."

"Argent D'Nur?" Eddie inquired. "Strange name but curious, how did I get here?"

The Sentinel sighed. "We don't even know how you got here. Even if we had the means to send you back, we cannot do anything without the word of the Order Deag."

"And what is the Deag?" Eddie questioned.

"They are the High Priests of Argent D'Nur." The Sentinel replied. "Any Outlanders who set foot on our world are to be judged by them."

"Then let's go talk to them." Eddie declares. "I don't plan on wanting."

The Second Sentinel walks in. "You're in luck, then." He turns towards his companion. "Deags Ranak and Nilox wish to meet with him in the antechamber."

"Of course." The first replied as the two marched over to the bed. Eddie wanted to get up herself, but his legs were tired. The Sentinels grabbed one of his arms each and began to drag him out of the Clinic.

The disc-like elevator lowered into a large antechamber, eventually coming to a halt with a loud thump. The Sentinels drag Eddie off of it and begin to make their way down the hall. Eddie had stopped struggling by then. Looking up, he saw a pair of slim Argenta men. One of them had a helmet with a crest on it that covered his eyes and the other had a crown on his head. Both of them wore long lower robes and held specters in hand. These two men were the Deags, the helmeted one being Ranak and the crowned one being Nilox.

"We found him in the forest valley, just outside the castle walls." One of the Sentinels stated as they set him down in front of the priests. "He was badly wounded, and wearing this."

The Sentinel hands Eddie's mask over to Ranak, who stares at it, clearly intrigued by the Outlander's attire.

Eddie looks up to them. "I don't know what's going on here but I'll kill something."

Ranak looks back towards Nilox. "He has fight in him yet..."

"...in spite of his injuries," Nilox replied agreeing with him.

"Send him to the Arena." Ranak orders as he hands the mask back to the Sentinel. "Let him be judged like the others."

Eddie raised an eyebrow. Arena? Are they really going to send a thirteen-year-old kid to fight some gladiators into some pit?

Before he could protest, the two Sentinels grabbed him and hauled him back towards the lift.

Eddie won't use his strength on them because he knows it will be pointless to escape their grip now.

Nine months later…

Arena...

"Is that all of you sick son of the bitches got?!" Eddie staggered back into the Arena, he was in his fighting stance as he was surrounded by some prisoners, outnumbering him. He dashed forward and punched a prisoner across the cheek with a right cross knocking him out before hitting another one with a left hook.

One of them tried to overpower him but he swung around his right leg to the side of the prisoner's face before hitting him with a straight-up his chin.

Another prisoner used his left fist and drove it into Eddie's cheek. But he managed to catch it and clenched the man's knuckles with his right fist.

"Not bad but you're sloppy." Eddie began punching the man to the side of his head, he then grabbed him on both shoulders and kneed him in the stomach forcing him to spit out blood. The prisoner collapsed backward to the floor unconscious.

Hearing fast footsteps coming behind him. Eddie swung his back fist onto another prisoner's cheek, sending him onto the ground.

'That was close.'

Four of the prisoners charged at him, but Eddie deflected their attacks. One of the prisoners tried to punch him to the side of his ribs, but the Grave Keeper caught it, he pulled him in close to punch him repeatedly on the face before knocking him out on the floor.

Eddie then unleashes a powerful kick to another prisoner on his chest and then his face, essentially incapacitating him.

The third prisoner reluctantly charged forward and tried to attack. Eddie blocked the attack and hit the prisoner in the neck to stun him. He then brought down his head and kneed him in the jaw. Eddie tossed him away with all of his strength. The third prisoner fell to the ground hard as he passed out unconscious.

The last prisoner sluggishly charged towards Eddie, fist raised as he moved to bash the skull in, only for the Grave Keeper to grab his wrist with one hand and use his other fast to punch his cheek. His assailant coughed, spattering blood onto the floor, and collapsed with a thud.

The cheers of observant Argenta citizens and Sentinels in the crowd. Now, twelve bodies lay across the arena floor, and only Eddie stood above them all. Undamaged not a single one of them hit him.

His bones arched and his fingers numb.

The bell rang through the colosseum as Deag Grav's voice was heard on the loudspeaker, "Match concluded. Outlander, return to your cell."

One of the gates along the wall opened as Eddie carefully walked over. "It's about time. I take myself a break." He mumbled to himself.

As soon as Eddie made his way to his cell, looking back at the door sealed shut. He sat down to the floor of his cell.

It's been nine months since he arrived on this planet. Every single day he was being sent to the pit to fight matches in order to survive. He tried to escape several times but he ended up getting caught to no avail.

During his forced stay, Eddie had learned how to use a sword, axe, bow, and a shield by a guard who's been helping him out from time to time.

That was about six months ago. The guard was a bit kind, stubborn, a little bossy, and had a fewer attitude problem.

He disappeared shortly afterward and no one has ever heard of him since.

Eddie wasn't worried about his teacher's disappearance but he has hope that he'll meet him again somewhere.

"Excuse me."

Eddie's thoughts were interrupted by a voice, he followed its direction to see a man in black robes standing from outside of his cell. His eyes seemed to be glowing red and he was holding a staff.

"Who are you?" Eddie demanded.

"I am someone who can help you escape here. I have come here to try and help you."

"If you want to get me out of this cell then by all means you are welcome. But what about the guards? The moment you try to help me escape. They'll alert anyone else here."

The Stranger smiled. "Actually the guards have already been dealt with, not killed but unconscious."

"I find that very hard to believe."

"Tell me something before I help you, what will you do next?" He asked him. "Once you've escaped here?"

"I'm going to find my way back to Earth," Eddie replied. "That's all, that matters."

"And after that?" He prompted.

Eddie shrugs his shoulders. "I don't know what else."

"If you want then beat it, I will take you back to your homeworld but what if I tell you this?" The Stranger began. "How about instead of Earth yet, why not go to different other worlds such as alternate dimensions."

"What do you mean?" Eddie questioned.

"I mean, you can explore any other different worlds besides this one you're on." The Stranger answered, causing Eddie to make a minor narrow of his eyes in surprise. "I know you wanted to go back home. But surely I can assure you if I give you the gift that can travel into different alternative dimensions you can learn from their knowledge and inside or outside information. If you accept this I could grant you powers and a title."

"And what can you offer me?" Eddie continued to question. "That's a power."

"Any type of magic regarding if it's powerful or forbidden to use." The Stranger begins to list. "Be it time travel, teleportation, dark arts, dark magic, summoning, chemistry, fire, ice, water, all types of magic that you desire. You don't need to learn from them. They'll just appear in your head."

Eddie was a bit convinced. "This offer... It sounds tempting but what if I refuse?"

"Then this conversation between us never happened." The Stranger told honestly. "I will still help you escape here and bring you back to your home planet."

"How do I know it's not a trick?"

"No tricks." He assured him. "Even if I would stab you in the back, you wouldn't have been alive, here and now."

Eddie can see the points the Stranger made. Yet, at the same time, he was not a liar or a deceiver or a fool. He could tell the Stranger is offering him power and go explore other worlds before heading back home. Perhaps this could help him keep his interest.

"Very well." Eddie acknowledged. "I will accept your terms however I will require two powerful weapons before I agree."

"Name them."

"A legendary sword called Excalibur, you see the sword has been to my family for generations. I don't know much of my past but as far as I can tell that I am the descendant of King Arthur himself. I may have no proof but I am his blood relative. The second is a shield of legend called the legendary Shield with unimaginable power and abilities."

"I will do that." The Stranger said. "However, for you to acquire these legendary weapons. You must first enter a certain world with the existence of magic, only there I could give them to you."

"So when do I begin?" Eddie asked.

The Stranger opens up his cell door. "Now."

Escaping this place and going somewhere else anywhere away from this planet is the best. But once Eddie does this there's no turning back now.

"Alright." Eddie steps out of the cell.

"Good." The Stranger held out his hand. "If I may?"

Eddie stares at the hand, knowing that he wants to hold his for one moment. "No homo." He placed his hand in the palm.

Wrapping his fingers around it, the Stranger's hand started to glow a red bright light. "Your title will be known as the very first Demon Lord, carry it with you at all cost." When it dies down, the Stranger removes his hand.

Eddie just noticed a demonic symbol just appeared on his palm before it disappeared. "So what happens now?"

In response, a golden vortex of energy had formed behind him. It seems to be functioning as a vacuum, as he felt a natural pull towards it. Eddie quickly grabs on his cell door bars with one hand, this portal was not gonna take him easily.

He turned his head to see the Stranger who was holding out a sliver medallion with his free hand. "The portal won't close unless you go to the other side, but take this with you, you might need it." He tossed the medallion to him. Which Eddie managed to catch the medallion.

"Why the hell do I need this for?" Eddie asked.

"Believe me you might need it." The Stranger said. "Now I suggest you let go."

Without any second thoughts, Eddie stared into the portal. 'If I die I'm coming after him.' He let go of the iron bar and jumped forward.

Landing onto the ground, Eddie stood up and scanned his surroundings. The Grave Keeper finds himself in the middle of nowhere of a serene, beautiful grassy field and large trees.

"Where am I?" Eddie muttered.

When he checks down and finds out that he is still in his clothes. Not only that he gets two familiar weapons the Stranger promised him to give him.

Looking at his right arm and saw a shield with a plain green gem at its center and it seems it was strapped onto him.

On his left hand, he sees a sword with a blue hilt and its cross is gold, there are also weird blue symbols on the center of the blade. The scabbard of the sword was strapped on his back.

"The Legendary Shield and Excalibur!" Eddie stated as he smiles. "Thank you, Stranger." He swung the legendary sword around a few times to test it out. "Light as a bird, very comfortable to wield by the handle, not heavy." Putting Excalibur into its sheath. "Glad to have my family heirloom and all but again where in the heck am I?" Having no idea what dimension world he had landed. Eddie must find information.

"You there."

The Grave Keeper turned to his right and saw a young woman. The woman had blue eyes, her skin is brown, long blonde hair, she wore a silver nordic carved armor with leggings and boots, in her hands was a jousting lance. It appears she has the same height as him, it was more likely she was expecting him.

The young woman continued to speak up. "Are you the very first Demon Lord?"

Eddie raised an eyebrow in surprise. She knows his new title? Did the Stranger tell her or does she know who he is?

"Tell me, what is your name?" Eddie queried.

"Edelgard." She replied.

To be continued.
