Chapter 1 - The Arrival
The screen sparked to life as the viewers stared at it. "What is this…" Ram mumbled as the clown simply stared on, an eerie smile spread along his face knowing full well this was not over.
After finishing the 4th arc, they all believed that it was over. Though, the screen pulsated a strange glow as the viewers could only glance in shock.
Rem, Emilia, and Beatrice could only hug the boy tighter as they stared at the screen. Dark blue and white light breaking free.
The rest of the viewers could only stand and watch as two words were placed on screen…
DEAD SPACE
"Dead space?" The sword saint repeated as he went to look at the nasty eyed boy. He took a glance at the screen as he uttered a question. "How does this involve Subaru?"
Julius nodded his head with his friends' statement as he could only glance at the boy. Guilt, blooming in the deep pits of his heart.
Otto and Garfiel both shrugged their shoulders as they glanced at the strange lights. The words not resonating with them. They knew about space, but dead…space?
CEC MISSION ER529
"What is this, I suppose?" Beatrice mused as she held onto her contractor even tighter. The strange words now appearing on the screen as the occupants strained their eyes to read them. The static frightening her as she could only fear the worst.
"Natsuki…is this another one of his past experiences?" The merchant princess murmured to herself, while the other candidates could only remain silent.

USG KELLION EN ROUTE TO AEGIS SYSTEM
PRIMARY MISSION ASSETS...
...Natsuki Subaru - ENGINEERING AND SHIP SYSTEMS SPECIALIST...
...KENDRA DANIELS - COMPUTER SPECIALIST...
...ZACH HAMMOND - CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER...
"Oi, wait!" Garf screamed as he recognized the text. "That's capn!"
The others strained their eyes to read the little words as they confirmed the young warrior's statement. "Subaru, was an engineer?" Otto spoke out loud, his hand going through his hair as he tried to recount any times his buddy brought up anything about his past careers.
"Yes…very interesting." Priscilla spoke. She watched the boy with interest, more of his past falling into place as she could only think about how useful he could become.
Al only silently looked on. He has been gone for over a decade, but for humanity to advance this far and create such new inventions. He felt a lone tear slip free from his eye.
DIRECTIVE A: LOCATE MINING VESSEL USG ISHIMURA...
DIRECTIVE B: DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR COMMUNICATIONS BLACKOUT...
Ricardo held the twins closer to him as he began to speak. "It seems that Subaru and his team are meant to repair the vessel, but what sort of vessel are they even using." Ricardo said as he continued watching.
Crusch could only look on as she watched Subaru most likely descend once again into horrors. Though, there was something else that was not there before…hope.
TIME TO CONTACT: 3 MINUTES...
Screen Segway's through static…
"Who's she…" Tivey pointed as he stared at the strange women on screen. She seemed out of breath and exhausted.
Nicole Brennan (Video Log): "Subaru, it's me. I wish I could talk to you. I am sorry. I'm sorry about everything. I wish I could just talk to someone."
Emilia and Rem's eyes shot out of there sockets as they stared at the strange women. Though, who was she. "Did Subaru ever talk about her before?" Felt spoke to the demon maid and the half elf, only for a quickly shaken no for her response.
"It's all falling apart here. I cannot believe what's happening... It's strange... such a little thing..."
Felix opened his mouth to speak as he observed the women's trembling form. "She's exhausted. No, it's more like…"
"She's afraid, nearly frozen in fear." Julius finished his friends' statement as he glanced once again to the boy. His own fear swallowing him up inside, as he could only hope that his friend will not have to suffer anymore.
"Remember Subaru…I…Love…You…"
The screen cut to black. The occupants in the theatre swallowing their spit as they began to turn their heads to the women around Subaru.
Rem's hands tightened along Subaru's own. Though, she heard what that women said before. "Rem wonders, if she was someone special to you…" She whispered into the boy's ear and receiving nothing in response.
Emilia's hands closed along her mouth as she felt sick from the words…but that doesn't mean anything. Yeah, he was still her Subaru. So, with newfound determination she held tighter to him.

"Who's she…" Mimi pointed at the screen. Following in her brothers' movements.
Al shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. Maybe another one of Subaru's side chicks, didn't know he had a thing for blonds too…"
Two powerful women were staring daggers at him as he slowly gulped and leaned deeper into his seat.
Kendra Daniels: "How many times have you watched that thing? Guess you really miss her. Don't worry, we're almost there. You'll be able to look her up once we're onboard. Sounds like you two have a lot of catching up to do."
Each of the viewers eyes opened as the camara panned away revealing…
Subaru smirked on screen as he put away the recording. "Yeah, me and her have some stuff to talk about." He glanced down at his hand, running his finger along a ring."
"Oh, for the dragon…" The sword saint gasped as everyone's eyes locked onto the two women once again.
Emilia was horrified. Coming to the realization that Subaru and his women could of have been more than friends. Even more horrified that she may of have very well took Subaru away from his wife.
Rem followed Emilia's own emotions. Though, she only tightened her grip on her heroes' hand as she clutched onto him. "She may not be here right now. Though, Rem will always support you."
Zach Hammond: "All right everyone, we're here. Synching our orbit now."
"That man looks like an expert in weaponry." Wilhelm spoke. Many in the audience recognizing in what he said as they continued watching.
Kendra: "All this trouble over that chunk of rock."
The camera panned away as the screen began too slowly light up. There jaws dropping as they only could stare and watch…space.
Anastasia nearly crumpled into her chair as she stared at the strange rocks and the bright lights of the galaxy.
Wilhelm and Crusch's eyes widening as they stared and watched. There mouths slightly parting as they saw bits of bright stars
Hammond: "Deep space mining is a lucrative business, Ms. Daniels. Aegis 7 is a gold mine, according to prospector's reports. Cobalt, Silicon, Osmium... Now, where is she? There she is. We have visual contact."
The children in the rom could not hold back there wonder as they could only stare on into the bright expense of the star filled galaxy. This was something that everyone in the room even the all-powerful sword saint believed they would never be able to see.
Though here it was…
"Subaru, was special enough to head to space?" Al mumbled to himself as he could only watch. A smile formed under that helmet of steel, hidden away as words came free from his mouth. "You are special."
"What did you say…" The princess scowled at her knight as Al quickly dismissed her question. Though, his eyes lit up once again as he peered at the massive hulking object on screen.
Kendra: "So that's the Ishimura? Impressive..."
Garf pointed at the screen at the strange object coming into view. "Ah, what the hell is that!" Garf screamed as it rapidly approached Subaru and his comrades.
"I suppose that would be a spaceship, in fact." She spoke smugly.
"A space…ship." Anastasia repeated as her fingers slowly tapped her chin in suspense.
Beatrice sat proud as she crossed her arms. "Subaru taught me about spaceships. Powerful ships that were able to get people to reach the stars."
"Though…" She turned towards her contractor as he sat still. His hair fallen over his eyes as he slept his endless slumber. "Why did you not trust Betty…"
Hammond: "The USG Ishimura. Biggest Planetcracker in her class. And it looks like they already popped the cork."
Kendra: "Why is it all dark? I don't see any running lights."
"Yeah, she's right…if this is really a ship of such size then there must be thousands of people." Al spoke as he slowly shook his head. "Though, Damn. I have been gone for what…eighteen years and they already made this. Before we were struggling to get to mars but our…"
Al's voice grew deathly quiet as sweat began to form on his body. "Ay, Buddy…you all, right?" Ricardo hesitantly spoke as Al shook himself up.
"Yeah, just had a bad thought I guess…" Al shook his head once again as the crowd stared at him. "This just feels strange, in a span of eighteen years they already mastered space travel."
Anastasia looked up at the knight. "Do you think it's possible…that you and Natsuki are from different timelines?"
The sudden question shocked the viewers as they could only stare open mouthed as they heard the girl's question. "Miss Anastasia…what do you mean?" Otto asked the merchant.
"Natsuki and Al have both been summoned, but what happened if they were from different timelines…Al a more primitive timeline, while Subaru was sent from a more advanced timeline. It may of have been eighteen years here, but who knows maybe time runs faster for them then in here…"
The sudden hypothesis of Al shook him to his core as he fell back to the seat. His sole hand touching his helmet as he tried to calm himself down. There was always a part of him that wanted to go back, that needed to go back.
Though, before it always seemed to be some sort of pipe dream. Though, seeing it again and realizing that the rode towards home may very well be paved through fire or hell in another timeline. Shook the helmeted man to his core.
Hammond: "Corporal, take us in closer and hail them. And stay clear of the debris field. We're here to fix their ship, not the other way around."
Subaru: "Well that's what I'm here for." He smirked at the pair as he got a better look at the strange ship.
The sight of Subaru's smile warmed their hearts as a resounding bloom filled them. Another reminder of the boy's perseverance in the face of the unknown.
Corporal Chen: "USG Ishimura, this is the emergency maintenance team of the USG Kellion responding to your distress call. Come in Ishimura."
Kendra: "You're going to need to boost the signal if their power is low."
Hammond: "Yes, we know. Boost the signal. More."
Kendra: "Never heard of a total communications blackout on one of these things. You'd think with a thousand people on board, someone would pick up the phone-"
"Strange…" Ram mumbled to herself as the viewers glanced at her.
"Sissy…what's wrong." Rem spoke to her sister.
"It's strange don't you think. No one is responding, and didn't Al mention how…"
There eyes widened at the realization. Otto slumped into his chair as his palm went into his face. "We were a bunch of fools thinking this was going to be easier for him…"
"What I don't understand…" Mimi looked up to Ricardo as he stared at the screen.
Julius opened his mouth as he looked at the little girl. "For a ship of a hundred or even maybe a thousand, it has gone silent…no lights or power. Meaning…"
Felix gasped as the realization dawned on him. "Subaru, he is going alone with that small team…on a ship with no escape. For them to be completely silent…"
"Something has gone terribly wrong…" Wilhelm finished the healers sentence as the crowd began to be filled with despair.
USG Ishimura: Unintelligible
The unintelligible static caused many to shield their ears as it quickly was dialed down. The screeching bouncing along the roof of the theater.
Chen: "What is that?"
Kendra: "It's a busted array like we thought. Sounds like they're having problems with their encoder. You get us down there and Subaru and I can fix it. Forty-eight hours max."
Subaru: "I don't know…something feels off. Kendra, maybe we should head back to the outpost and gather more people. We don't know what happened, there may be people that need help."
The viewers nodded their head at Subaru's statement. The nasty eyed boy thinking about others and finally not rushing into a situation at the first moment.
Kendra: "We don't have time for that. I thought you wanted to find her Subaru?"
Many of the viewers stared at the Kendra women. A bad vibe emanating in every single one of them.
Anastasia picked up on it first. "That lady, she's untrustworthy…"
"Yeah, no shit…" Al quickly responded as his voice became more angrier as he stared at the screen. "That bitch is gaslighting him!"
"gaslighting…" Emilia repeated the strange word.
Beatrice whispered into her ear the definition. "It means to twist information. This woman…is trying to make Subaru feel bad so he won't abandon the mission."
"She's manipulating him…"
Subaru: He sighed as he closed his eyes harshly as he tied the seatbelt along his body. "Fine, we don't wait…let's go and save some lives." He finished off with a confident smile.
"Subaru…what are you doing!" Wilhelm shouted at the screen. He had this bad feeling plaguing his mind as he stared at the murky vessel. Knowing full well that there was some sort of bad aura surrounding the vessel, a side effect of all his battle and wars.
His feeling only worsening as it was confirmed that something terribly wrong has happened. "What do you expect capn to do, let people die!"
He challenged the old man as they both stared the other down.
"Garfiel…" Julius spoke to the young warrior. "Wilhelm did not mean any disrespect; he is worrying about Subaru's safety."
Otto looked at the knight as he tentatively rubbed his hands. "I get what you mean. Though, Natsuki…he will do what it takes to save everyone. He always comes out right in the end."
Al's fingers dug into his lone fist. Blood pouring free as he tried to calm himself down, his brother once again going into danger. These people condoning him just placing his life in harm's way, to save a couple of lives.
"This women Subaru cares about is on that vessel, I can understand if he wants to risk it for him." Emilia spoke, she was worried yes…though she learnt to trust her knight. Though, a helmeted man stood in the shadows as he tried to restrain himself.
"Barusu putting himself in danger again…" Ram scowled as the clown could only smirk as she stared up at the screen.
Crusch watched the screen as she spoke to the old swords man. "Don't worry Wilhelm…Subaru always comes out alright."
Al's fingers tightened as more blood pooled from them, from the anger he was feeling. Learning that he may of have very well spent more than eighteen years in this world, and even worse…that everything that he left behind was maybe gone and reduced to the dust of time and ash.
What made Al feel angrier…was how the people in the room were condoning what Subaru was doing. Throwing his life away for some girl, Al's eyes darted to the half elf in the front row. "Ironic…" He spat out the single word as he stared back at the screen.
Hammond: "Alright, you heard the lady. Take us in. Let's see what needs fixing."
Corporal Johnston: "Gravity tethers engaged. Automatic docking procedure is go."
{The USG Kellion is rocked by sudden blast.}
Chen: "What the hell?"
Johnston: "Sir! The autodock-"
Hammond: "What is it?"
Chen: "We're off track! We're going to hit the hull!"
The viewers gasped as they saw Subaru grapple with his chair as the strange vessel was rocked along the ship. "Subaru!" Rem cried out as she could only watch in fear as her hero was thrown around like a ragdoll.
Hammond: "Hit the blast shields! Their guidance tether is damaged! Switch to manual. NOW!"
Kendra: "Inside the magnetic field? Are you insane?! Abort!"
Hammond: "NO! We can make it inside! Corporal, I gave you an order!"
Chen: "Argh, the field's too strong!"
{White light suddenly obscures the view; three grinding sounds reverberate throughout the Kellion; everything goes black. A light flickers, then ship systems restart; the blast shields retract.}
Subaru grudgingly shakes himself away…his suit glowing a bright cyan light as he unbuckles his seatbelts and hesitantly moves through the ship.
"Subaru…" Emilia muttered as she held her knight closer as she softly cried tears of joy that he was okay.
Julius and Felix both let out a sigh of relief as their friend was revealed to be safe.
Hammond: "Is everyone okay?"
Subaru: "Yeah, Hammond…never better!"
Subaru's sarcastic reply led to soft giggles resounding from the room.
Kendra: "What...? What the hell were you thinking?! Were you trying to get us killed?"
Hammond: "I just saved our asses, Ms. Daniels! If we had aborted at that speed and distance, we would have smashed right into the side of the Ishimura. Now settle down, and let's get to work. Corporal, report!"
Subaru got up from his seat as he began stretching his limbs. The lights flickering in and out as he continued his routine.
Ram grunted in pure disappointment at the boy. "Barsu, even as an engineer and a space traveler. The poor fool still makes time for his exercises."
Otto glanced up to Ram. "Your must respect his commitment. Natsuki, is really something else when he commits to doing something."
The lights finally flashed as Subaru's orange armor came into view.
"Holy crap!" The young warrior screamed as he saw the sight of Subaru's armor come into view. "Capn, look how cool capn's armor is!"
Wilhelm and Crusch could only stare in shock at the strange orange armor that the boy wore. Anastasia, trying to memorize every piece of detail of the armor as she could only dream of replicating such a thing, while Otto and the rest of the knights could only glance at how cool his armor was.
Chen: "I'm not getting any readings from the port booster and we've lost comms and autopilot. It'll take some time to fix."
The words stuck in Al's skull. A resounding groan formed along his voice as the occupants could only stare at him. "The kid's one means of escape…" He pointed to the screen. "…Is fucking wrecked, he can't leave now if he wants to."
The dread filled the room as Al stared down at the crowd. Priscilla, staring at her knight in suspense. "Oh, no…Subaru!" Emilia collided with her knight's shoulder as she buried her face within him.
Rem following as Beatrice's small frame trembled in fear. Garf and Otto cursing the situation as Felix and Julius could only watch hesitantly.
"I don't want…to see him…die again." Felt mumbled to herself as the sword saint's hands went to her shoulders. He stared at the screen in fear…fear of losing Subaru once again.
Al grunted once again as he stared at the crowd. "Ironic…isn't this what you asked for."
The crowd stared back at the helmeted man. "Ah, interesting…" The clown slowly spoke as he began to realize something interesting was about to unfold.
Hammond: "All right, let's get some extra hands from the flight deck to help out."
{Kendra turns around and walks up to Subaru.}
Kendra: "Hold still, Subaru, I'm synching up everyone's RIGs with the ship. Okay, we're done. Clean bill of health for everyone."
Subaru nodded his head in affirmation as a glowing blue light trickled up his suit. They all disembarked though Subaru's helmet began to disengage and cover his face.
"Fucking awesome!" The young warrior screamed out. "You saw that shit, my capn's armor is the coolest!" The boy jumped into the air, proud of his captain as the viewers could only softly giggle at the young boy's antics.
Hammond: "All right. We've still got a job to do. We're moving out."
Subaru watches as the other members depart from the ship as the view pans 180 degrees around him, showcasing his RIG.
"It looks so advanced…" Anastasia mused to herself as she could only dream about replicating the armor. "How does it even work…"
She looked towards Al as he grimaced. "Hell, if I know, I have been in this crappy world trying to survive for god knows how long. Bother the spirit…"
His curt response shocked the viewers as they went back to viewing. Realization dawning not to bother Al. He was obviously in a bad mood.
When Subaru exits the Kellion, Kendra is examining the ship's hull. In the background, an automated greeting opens on a large screen.
Kendra: "You didn't lose power to the port booster. You LOST the port booster! Unbelievable."
Hammond: "Guess the power's down everywhere. Subaru, get over here and hack the door pad."
Subaru walks to the door as he rips off the panel. His hands closing along the panel as resounding flashes of electricity echo.
Hammond: "Subaru, hurry up…"
Beatrice scoffed at the man's rudeness towards her contractor as she leaned closer to him.
Subaru: He takes a glance at Hammond. Silencing him as he went back to work.
The sight of Subaru's helmeted face just staring silently at Hammond earned a couple chuckles.
The door slid open as the group filtered inside as they began to move steadily through the room and observing everything in sight.
"This looks bad…" Reinhard spoke as he stared at the surroundings.
"It seems that everyone was trying to get out as quickly as possible." Ricardo mumbled back to the sword saint.
The room was a mess. Disregarded suitcases littered the floor as odd puddles of reddish brown splotches decorated the floor, graffiti dangled along the walls as the group moved hesitantly through.
Hammond approached Subaru who was staring at the wall. Hammond took one or two glances to make sure no one was listening as Subaru got the memo and disengaged his helmet.
"So cool…" Garf spoke again about the strange armor.
"Though…this Hammond wants to speak to Subaru about something. I don't have a good feeling about this conversation." Wilhelm spoke.
Hammond: Subaru, I need to speak to you…how quickly could you repair the ship?
"I don't understand…" Felt spoke as she glared up at the screen. "Weren't they supposed to help people escape?"
"Miss Felt something here has went terribly wrong…I do not even wish to think about it but Subaru needs to leave…"
Felt got angry, her big bro was a hero, and he would save these lives. So, she was appalled to hear the sword demon himself was the one that uttered those words.
Reinhard looked to his grandfather who was always cool and composed though now was just…shaking. The old man had sweat flowing from his brow as his eyes traced the screen. Fear was flowing through the air and surrounding the swordsman.
He never felt this before…even fighting against the whale he was never afraid, bloodlust and angry but never fear. Though, he was the first to realize the situation Subaru was in.
A place full of death…a place. Subaru, someone he looked to as a second son…the old man realized that there was no escape. "Old man, you, okay?" Ricardo asked the sword demon as Wilhelm collapsed into his seat.
The camara panned as both men continued talking. Though, it began panning to parts of the room…the blood-soaked floor, bits of strange liquids oozing from the vents…
"For the dragon…" Felix spoke as the viewers kept on watching the images.
Frederica's green eyes traced the screen as she was frozen solid. Petra following her gaze as she could see something strange in the corner.
The camara panned closer to the item…a faint doll.
"It's just a doll." Anastasia sighed in relief as the other viewers followed suite. Especially Beatrice, Emilia, and Rem who simply cradled the boy.
The camara viewed closer as they heard the remnants of broken conversation. The doll slouched in view as its head was torn off, it's dress and fabric ripped to shreds as bits of red fabric decorated the floor.
The fear spread throughout the room. "Frederica!" Petra cried out as she hid into maid's lap as she began to cry for her hero.
Felt began to feel tears well up as she realized how much of a horrible situation her big bro was being placed in.
"Get out Subaru!" Ram screamed shocking everyone in the room, both by losing the nickname as the fear filled the area.
Julius gasped as he began to feel despair. Another reminder of failing to save and be there for his comrade. Crusch felt terror within her voice as the horrible deaths repeated in her mind. "Please…please don't die."
The camera panned to a lone soldier that was standing watch as Subaru and Hammonds conversation unfolded.
"Who is this man." Tivey spoke.
Subaru: "Maybe five to six hours. The engine was thrashed but I could get it working, but we haven't found Nicole yet."
Hammond: "You think…you could get this done earlier?"
"This Hammond, thankfully he is realizing how much of a bad situation it is." Wilhelm sighed. Finally having some peace realizing that Subaru could hopefully leave.
The camera panned towards the lone man staring with his flashlight. The camara panned as two bits of blades began to expose themselves from the open-air vent.
Subaru's name was screamed as the viewers tried to warn the knight. Emilia crying tears as she saw the unfamiliar force work its way silently towards the man as she tried to warn Subaru.
The two blades slammed into the man's neck as it quickly moved. The blade's erratic movement ending the man's lives as the camara panned back to Subaru and Hammond, the mans erratic movement ending as the figure was dragged into the vent.
"Oh, for the dragon…" Frederica whispered as the young maid's grip tightened along her waist.
"What was that…that thing didn't look human!" Felix shouted to the crowd as they kept on staring at the screen.
Julius stared at the screen. "That didn't look like weapons…it looked like bits of the beast."
He scowled harder at the screen as he began to hate himself even more. This boy…was a hero and all he could just do was watch him suffer, but what else could he do?
He felt useless once again.
Kendra: "Yeah, well there's not. There's nobody here. I can't pick up any broadcasts."
Anastasia grunted at the supreme stupidity of everyone in that room. There comrade has just miraculously disappeared, and they still have not realized it.
Crusch could only stare hopefully for Subaru to figure this out. He was smart and she knew that he would devise a plan to save everyone, he was a hero after all. So, she smiled as she held her faith for the boy.
Hammond: "That security console is still live. Subaru, log in and see what you can find. Kendra, get that elevator back online."
Subaru nodded his head as he began working. Sparks of electricity gracing the screen. Until…a strange sound of the vents boomed as the tickling lights of power trickled on.
"Oh, no…" Mimi spoke as she hid herself in Ricardo's arms. "The monster, it's going to come back."
Hammond: Subaru what are you doing?
Subaru was busy staring at the strange sounds the vent was making. It's sounds hurting the viewers ears as it sounded like something was being grated along the strips of metal. "Hammond, that sound…"
Emilia's voice went silent as she clutched her knight tighter. Fear, realizing that there was no escape for Subaru…fear of how everything would collapse, and he would once again die a painful and slow death.
Hammond: "Automatic quarantine must have tripped when the filtration system restarted. Everybody relax..."
Felt's face flashed with anger as she registered with Hammonds words. Her hands flailing at the screen as she began to shout. "What the hell is wrong with you. You fucking idiot!"
The young royal candidate was infuriated by Hammond's complacency, he still did not even realize that one of his members was silently slaughtered only a minute ago.
Kendra: "What was that? Did you hear that?!"
Hammond: "I'm not sure..."
A loud boom echoed from vent as the whole vent system collapsed. A massive echo resounded across the room as Subaru could only stare and watch, his helmet already equipped.
The creature was in pure view for all the viewers to see due to Subaru activating the backup power. It was wearing no clothes, its skin torn and gnashed together, weave with tendrils of broken skin. There bare muscles were exposed and pulsated as dark red muck eroded from inside.
Two strange hands were exposed that pierced through the ribcage. White like bone as they sickeningly throbbed and tried to look for anything to grab onto. The skin glistened from the strange liquid that pooled onto the body.
Its feet were horrifically broken as it's toes made crunching sounds with each unfamiliar steps, it's eyes bulged from it's heads with a clear white iris, though there was something that the viewers could see that shook them to their very core.
Two blade like appendages, each covered with blood as they shot from the palm of the monster.
Felt stared open mouthed at the monstrosity. They seen the rabbit, the whale and even parts of the great serpent but they did not look like this. A monstrosity grafted together that strangely resembled a human…fear stricken her heart.
Petra let out a screech from the very sight of the monster as she collided with Frederica's waist once again as she refused to move. Her body shaking from the very sight of the monster.
Al grimaced as he felt sick…his body forcing him to sit down as he was frozen in terror. The strange remnants of parts of the creature's human form making him feel disgusted as he tried to not look.
Priscilla, the one that always held the calmest demeanor could not help but feel something horrible in the pits of her stomach as she hid her disgusted face behind her fan.
Emilia, Rem and Beatrice stared at the monster as it approached their friend. The strange horror rendering them immobile like they were frozen in time.
Mimi and Tivey both holding shelter in Ricardo's massive arms as they shrieked from the very monster. Fear, clouding everyone's minds as they could only watch as the monster moved.
Julius felt something behind him. A hand from his mistress that locked onto the back of his jacket as she stared at the screen, shaking visibly. Julius realized it…how his Mistress was so scared that the only way she felt safe was by his side.
Felix felt sick…recognizing parts of the creature's body that looked human. Disgusted by the very sight of the creature, reminding him of a child cutting dolls and stitching mix matched parts of them together.
"Oh…no." Wilhelm spoke as he crumbled in the chair. Fear for the boy he cared so much for. Regret, that in the prior loops he looked down on him. "I'm so sorry…Subaru. That you had to go through this nightmare."
The duchess refused to move…even as she heard the pained gasp from the master swordsman. Her throat tightened as she could only watch as the boy, she cared for…suffer.
Johnston: "What the hell?"
The monster moved quickly. The man barely moving in time from shock as the slasher's hands pushed forward. A horrible scream echoed from the man as the monster's left blade slashed into his lower abdomen slamming his into the ceiling, right before using it is other to quickly cut through him.
Petra fell limp in Frederica's hands. The beast maid struggling to hold her composure as she could only watch the scene unfold.
Emilia felt tears sting her eyes as she watched the monster turn towards her Subaru. "Please…don't die!" She screamed at the Subaru, begging him to run away and to live.
"Run!" Beatrice screamed at the screen, the sound of her soft voice catching them off guard as all they could do was sit frozen.
Three more slashers came out of the broken vent system landing in the middle of the room. There bodies with a distinct shine that caught the lights of the cursed shuttle.
Hammond: "Jesus! Open fire! Open fire!"
{Hammond and Chen fire on the slasher.}
There guns began doing work, making holes in the monster only for the monsters to climb up and keep moving forward against the onslaught.
"Please…don't" Emilia pleaded to whoever was listening. Begging god to let her hero survive, to escape from this horrible situation.
Hammond: "Subaru, get the hell out of there!" Those words resounded as Subaru began sprinting in the other direction as the door clicked and he ran.
"Subaru…" Rem cried out as she saw him run away. A smile over her face as she was just happy that he was able to make it free.
Ram sighed in relief for Barasu as she leaned back onto her chair. A distinct role of sighs escaped but as they watched, they soon learned it was too late.
Kendra: "The door's unlocked, run!"
The viewers began to chant that word. "RUN!"
Kendra: "Run, Subaru! Get the hell out of there!"
"Why…is Subaru…suffering now?" Otto gasped as he collapsed onto his chair. Seeing his friend once again suffer against monstrous creatures, how could he ever move forward from this.
Subaru could only run away. His body clanking along the steel of the station. Though, the camara panned showing the shadows of those monsters chasing after him.
Subaru was about to round a corner, only to fall back and head the other way as he encountered two more slashers. His breathing echoed through the screen.
"Big bro…is so scared." Felt teary eyed whispered to her knight as he stared at the screen. His body slumping down in shame, how could he ever call him his friend?
Subaru was more of a hero then he ever was…he even felt like he disgraced Subaru's very presence for even being near such a wonderful man. The fortitude and resolve of the boy even shocking his grandfather as the sword demon could only glance.
He slammed into a door as he threw it open. Slamming it behind him as he slammed on a keypad.
"What is that…" Garf shouted as he watched his captain slam the door behind him. "Capn, that door won't keep them out."
The young warrior was nearly hyperventilating. The constant stress and fear for his capn forcing him to nearly puke his stomach out. Hell, nearly everyone was going to nearly puke out their guts from the monsters that they saw.
Not even a second later the door was smashed. The slasher trying to wedge it open as Subaru could only press himself against the wall.
"Subaru!" Crusch cried out. Her hand going towards the screen as the monster frantically tried to reach its way to Subaru. Al, his body crumpled as he so desperately wanted to help…to save his brother from this monster.
Though, what could any of them do in this situation?
The slasher slammed its boney blade as it scratched along Subaru's blue visor which luckily protected him.
The doors slammed shut as Subaru could only breath in relief as the monster was killed from inside. His body sliding down the elevator as he collapsed. His breath the last thing they heard before the screen went to black.
