AN: I know me not righting a gamer story but seriously I've been wanting to write this for months and just haven't felt that urge to write but now that I have I'm not going to waste it
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter (I would have had a epic three way battle of titans between Harry, Voldemort, and Dumbeldore for the finally) or World of Warcraft (Necromancer would have been a class if I did)

As I stood there before the Veil I couldn't help thinking back over what brought me here.
The Loss
"Sirius!!!" I yelled as I reached for the man who was like a father to me as he fell.
The Truth
"Only you can defeat Lord Voldemort my girl, no one else can.
The Manipulation
I decided to go to the Will reading despite Dumbeldore trying to convince me otherwise even though I knew that this would hurt me almost if not more than his death.
"I leave everything to my wonderful and perfect goddaughter Rose Potter." The recording of Sirius said, causing everyone in the room to begin shouting as I only cried.
The Lies
"In order to protect you from the Death Eaters manipulations I've decided that you will marry mr. Ronald Weasley shortly before the start of this upcoming school year." Dumbeldore informed me and I had barely kept the look of disgust off my face.
The Betrayals
"How much longer will we have to put up with that whiny Bitch" I heard Hermione ask Dumbeldore, unaware that I could hear them.
"Yeah and when will I get my money?" Ron asked indignantly. "It will only be a few more years once she has 'bravely sacrificed herself to defeat Lord Voldemort' you will have the Potter and Black library while you will have full ownership of their wealth" Dumbeldore explained.
I was so tired of everything, of course just because I planned to off myself didn't mean I was going to let anyone have MY family's possessions.
"Are you serious? You want to fully withdraw all Potter and Black family assets to be stored in trunks, shrunk and placed in a bag along with all the Properties to be sealed as well as shrunk and stored or destroyed?" The goblin exclaimed only receiving a nod and a statement that genuinely scared him. "I will not allow anyone to take what is mine whether before or after my death and so I'll be taking it all with me whether you like it or not!" The look in my eyes promising that I would destroy all of Gringotts to get what was mine even if it killed me.
Sneaking into the Ministry of Magic and the Death Chamber was surprisingly easy considering what happened only a few months ago but I wasn't about to complain as it made this easier. With a final deep breath I stepped forward and through the Veil of Death to be with my family again.

'How did everything fall apart so fast and so thoroughly' I thought as I laid within my lair watching my eggs eagerly waiting for them to hatch. 'With the might of the Alliance behind me I could have not only protected my young but also defeated my father and become the Earthwarder thus ensuring my Flights survival and prosperity' I was dragged out of my thoughts as I felt a buildup of Death Magic right outside my lair.
Once I arrived at the entrance to investigate all I saw was a human girl wearing strange clothes in a crater though I could sense residual Death Magic all over her. Out of curiosity I decided to bring her in so as to get answers about who she is and what happened from her once she woke up.
I picked her up and carried her into a small chamber just off of my lair and used my connection to the earth to raise a small platform to lay her on before going back to watching my eggs while I waited for either her to wake up or for the inevitable group of adventurers that would come to kill me.

As I came to the first thing I noticed was the heat which was making me sweat quite a bit. The second was the smell of smoke, sulfur, and brimstone "sigh, so I'm in hell even hates me" I said as I sat up and rubbed the sweat and sleep from my eyes.
"Really your first thoughts are that you're in hell?" I heard a gravely yet feminine voice say from the side causing my head to whip around and my eyes open only to stare in shock at the massive 'talking' black dragon. "Um...was that you that just spoke?" I asked hesitantly. It snorted causing smoke to pour out of its nose "who else would it be human" it, she replied sarcastically.
"Now I have some questions human and I believe you have some of your own so how about we take turns asking and answering a question?" She suggested. I simply nodded, still dazed about the talking dragon.
"Alright you believed you were in hell when you woke up why?" I shifted nervously before answering "I had used an ancient and powerful artifact called the Veil of Death which is said to be a doorway to the land of the dead hoping to rejoin my family. Where am I?" I asked in turn.
"That would explain the magical residue on you. We are currently located in my lair within Dustwallow Marsh. Where are you from?" She responded. I relaxed a little as I got into the flow of things "I'm from Surrey, England. What kind of dragon are you?" I was curious to figure this out.
"I take it wherever you're from doesn't have dragons like myself?" She asked for clarification. "Not really ours don't talk and have 2 legs and aren't as big or intelligent for that matter." I explained. "Sounds like Prodrakes to me which is what dragons here were originally before being empowered and I am a black dragon. I believe I already know the answer to it but, are you from Azeroth?" She asked.
"No never heard of it, why?" I ask as this is apparently important. "Azeroth is the name of this world we are on, in other words you're not from this planet" she stated. I could only stare in shock at the fact I was no longer on Earth. I went to ask her a question when we heard a gravelly voice call out "mistress adventurers are near!" causing the dragon to snarl and mutter about a pesky 'alliance' or something before turning to leave the chamber. "Would you like some help with them?" Someone, myself apparently, called out to her causing her to stop and turn her neck around to face me before turning back and continuing on which I took to mean 'go ahead'.

Once I got to the entrance and went past the weird dragon-centaurs? 'I'll have to ask the dragon and learn her name since I can't keep calling her dragon' I thought. I saw that there were a few dozen people there that ranged from human to I think elves and dwarves all wearing robes and/or armor and wielding a wide assortment of weapons.
"Um...hi how about you all just turn around and go away?" I said nervously.
What I assume was the leader stepped forward wearing heavy looking full plate armor with a battle axe across his back...and only about 4 feet tall. "Stand aside lass we're here for the dragon" he stated in a voice that could best be described as a war drum. "I'm sorry but I can not allow you access" I said as a flick of my wrist caused my wand to eject from its wrist mounted holster.
The group shifted hands reaching for their weapons. "Leave, now" I stated as the tip of my wand started to glow and unnoticed to them I felt cracks start to form along it. Unknown to me though was that the air around grew heavy and an almost imperceptible pale green light started to radiate from nowhere. One of the ones with bows jerked causing them to fire. I simply moved my head to the side feeling it pass by my ear. Internally I was panicking at almost dying but had to keep up the strong front and thus pushed even more Magic through my wand causing it to disintegrate and pale green flames to erupt all around me and even sporadically father out about 20 feet and my eyes to become suns and my hair whipped around in an unseen and unfelt hurricane as I now began to feel that the air was much heavier then it should be.
—————————————————————————————————————
I felt a massive build up of Magic at my lair's entrance and noticed that the otherworlder was not in her chamber so changing my form into my human one I made for the entrance quietly to see what was happening. What I saw as I got there was that despite the human's small size the power coming off her made her seem at least a dozen feet taller and the pale green flames which could only peripherally be compared to Fel Fire made her seem less like a human and more like a fire elemental or as a small part of me insisted on divinely beautiful.
I saw some of the Mages launch ice spells to attempt to put out the fire only to evaporate a few feet away from it "I'm sorry" I heard the human say sorrowfully as she raised her hands and clapped them causing the flames around her to erupt higher and hotter then before and rush outward in a cyclone pattern and the adventurers screamed as they burst into flames before the flames even touched them and even I felt warm from them.
Once the flames dispersed she turned around and seeing me sadly yet nervously asked "uh...mind if I stay with you for a while?"
—————————————————————————————————————
"And how did you know it's me?" The lady asked. I blushed in embarrassment "well first you just confirmed it and well it was your eyes that gave you away" I responded to the beautiful wavy black haired, flawless fair skinned, and red eyed goddess before shaking those thoughts out of my head.
"So um, can I stay? Just for a short while" I add on quickly getting a chuckle from "oh I forgot my name is Rose Potter-Black. What's yours?" I asked. She blinked apparently just remembering we never exchanged names herself "Ah where are my manners I am Onyxia the Broodmother of the Black Dragonflight and I suppose you can stay" she said before turning around and heading back inside.
I turned back to the smoking corpses and ashes shedding a tear before looking for anything still intact before using my magic to bury them only finding a small journal and two thick books that faintly glowed blue and sickly green respectively. I then headed back inside and to my side chamber making sure to avoid getting near the eggs.
As I entered the little side chamber I woke up in I pulled out my bag and started digging through it to find the trunk I was after. "I see you have a bag of holding" I heard behind me causing me to jump and turn around seeing Onyxia there with an amused look on her face. "It just has a space expansion charm on it that's all" I say as I finally find what I'm after and pull it out.
"I admit I'm curious about the magic of your world as I'm not familiar with the spell you used back at the entrance" she said. "That technically wasn't a spell just raw power being released though sadly it did destroy my wand and I'm not even sure how I was able to do that since I'm not even that powerful" I explained as I tapped the shrunken trunk returning it to its actual size and opening it I started to pull out a blanket and some pillows before setting them on the stone platform.
"From what I saw I'd have to disagree with you since even I felt the heat of those flames out there and as a dragon I'm inherently resistant to not only magic but fire" Onyxia said as she walked around and leaned on the other side of the platform.
I went to respond before remembering what I'd found and pulled out the two thick books and asked "by the way I found these with the bodies do you know what they're for?"
Onyxia took a look at them before answering "this one" she held up the one glowing blue "is a book on arcane magic while the other" at this she held up the sickly green one "is on Fel magic." I looked confused and asked "what's the difference?"
She sat them down and said "it is mainly in what they represent Arcane is inherently tied to order and is the main form of Magic used while Fel is tied to disorder but Fel Magic is also the magic used by demons and has some side effects of being in contact with it but is very powerful in its own right".
I nodded before asking "what other forms of magic are there?" She cocked her head to the side before answering "well Magic can be aligned with Order, Disorder, Life, Death, Light, and Void and must divide them into two categories based on whether one is 'good' or 'evil'" she explained. "Are they?" I asked. She shook her head "not really but some are more dangerous than others if you aren't prepared for them and their side effects" I nodded as she straightened and walked back out of the chamber leaving me to get settled in.
