Zeref looked over his notes as he worked on the prototype construction of the Eclipse Gate. It was small, barely big enough for a person to walk through but it was enough for the test he wanted. Beside him, standing majestically was the one being who agreed to help him with this prototype, she had silvery blue scales covering her body as her reptilian eyes watched Zeref work. This was the Moon Dragon Queen Tsukiyomi, or as her fellow Kings and Queens called her, the Dragon of Dimensions

"Is it ready for a test Black Wizard?" She asked in a somewhat irritated tone, her tail swaying behind her impatiently

"It will be in a moment my dear Tsuki-himi." He replied as he looked over his blueprints, ignoring the sound of a dragon's claw digging into the dirt behind him.

"Mind your manners Black Wizard. I may have agreed to help you with this gate, but that was only as a favor to Igneel and the others." She growled as her tail started to sway menacingly behind her.

Zeref just smiled and looked up at her. "And they're faith in me will be rewarded, once this proof of concept works I will be able to make a much larger version, though the magic cost to use it will be much more than this prototype."

Tsukiyomi nodded but growled slightly 'This plan is foolish at best the chance of the others beating Acnologia by themselves 400 years from now is rather low, even lower if he decides to train during those years.' She thought 'Then again Igneel and the others will not last much longer in their current condition, a few years at best.' her eyes lowered as she thought about her fellow dragons. She was visiting her youngest daughter Selene during the final battle thus was spared the massacre that was now being called The Dragon King's Festival.

Zeref's voice cut through her thoughts. "It is time." He stated as he backed away from the gate. "Just pour your magic into it and I will open it up."

She nodded and let out a Dragon's Roar, but instead of damaging the gate she willed her magic to enter it, empowering the device with her dimensional powers.

"Good luck, Harry Potter." Those words were followed by two loud pops and the roar of a motorcycle engine woke the young baby from his sleep. His eyes watered as he looked up and saw the night sky. A cold wind blew by causing the young baby to shiver and he started to cry.

He did not know where he was but his mother and father were missing and it was cold. He wanted away from the cold, his magic response trying to take him away from this place but by itself it was not strong enough, fortunately for Harry, elsewhere two other beings were working magic that was more then strong enough

His body along with the blanket and letter vanished into particles of light and magic vanishing into the night, into another world entirely.

The prototype Eclipse Gate opened and the two stared at the portal formed in its opening. Tsukiyomi opened her mouth to speak with the portal sparked and out of it came a crying bundle of blankets, gently landing on the ground in front of them.

She stared at the blanket as Zeref walked over to it.

"Hmm it seems it seems the Gate is a partial success." He said as the gate closed. He walked back to his blueprints and wrote down a few notes, muttering to himself as he did so.

"What do you mean a partial success and who's the child?" Tsukiyomi asked as she moved her head closer to the crying bundle.

Zeref smiled. "I say partial since we pulled something through from somewhere else, I think to get a full success we might need a "Anchor" of sorts, possibly use the same gate but in the time we want, linking them together to form a bridge between times." He muttered, more to himself than her.

"What about the child? We should send him back." She stated, irritated at Zeref's lack of concern towards the crying infant.

Zeref shook his head as he turned to face the dragon behind him. "Nigh impossible, instead of going just through time the portal went through space as well. Normally this would not be enough but somehow it reacted with this child's magic and pulled him through. To send him back safely we would first need to find where the child came from and that as I am sure you know is a monumental task in and of itself." He answered as he turned his attention back to the plans for the gate. "Even if one such as yourself spent every waking moment searching for his home it would probably take years to find it without a trail of some kind to follow."

Tsukiyomi tilted her head. "Could not the gate act as the trail?" She asked gesturing to the construct in front of them.

Zeref once again shook his head. "Maybe if it had remained open we could have but the chances are slim, we would need some sort of tracking spell on an object to act as a beacon, or something that left enough magical residue from the other world to follow it back." He said and gestured to the gate. "Since it uses our magic and it was only a bit of his that reacted to it, the trail he generated was so small it will have vanished by now."

Tsukiyomi growled but nodded as she looked at the crying child. Its eyes opened and bright emerald eyes stared into her silver ones. "Then I will raise him." She said to Zeref's shock. "He will be the sixth child to go through the gate." She gently picked up the bundle, noticing a letter resting on the blankets. "Do you still require my assistance?"

Zeref shook his head. "No, we will have to rely on another source for the gate's power, maybe the twelve Zodiac keys could do it." He answered and went back to his work.

Tsukiyomi nodded and moved to pick up her new son but stopped as she stared at the odd scare on his forehead. "Odd some dark magic has bound itself to the child's forehead." She muttered.

Zeref stopped what he was doing and made his way over, kneeling down next to the boy and inspecting the scare for himself.

"Hmm instructing it seems to be some odd form of life magic, though instead of giving life it had bound a part of someone's soul to the child." He said as he finished his investigation.

Tsukiyomi growled at this. "Can you remove it?" She asked in a demanding tone.

Zeref smirked and nodded. "Quiet easily." He said as he gently waves his hand over the boy. A sickly green light shown from his palm as a dark gas like substance was pulled from the scar and into Zeref's hand. He looked at it briefly before crushing it in his palm. Upon opening his hand the soul was gone. "It is done he said and returned to his work table to finish his adjustments to the Eclipse Gate

Tsukiyomi nodded politely. "Thank you ." She said as she picked up the child and made her way back to her home, her new son in claw.

Upon arriving she remembered the letter and opened it, staring at the writing. Upon realizing she could not read it she started casting a few translation spells she had come across in her dimensional travels. After several attempts and no luck in translating the letter she sighed and turned to look at her son.

"I had hoped I could figure something out from the letter, at the very least figure out your name, but it seems that neither of us are that fortunate." She said as she watched her child stare up at her with curious eyes. "I suppose I will need to give you a new name then." She said gently as she showered her head down to him, her warm breath gently washing over him. "You will have a hard life ahead of you, but for now sleep well, Shin Tsukinoyo."
