Ruby was walking through the streets of Vale late at night, looking for a place to buy cookie dough. She had bought some yesterday, but it somehow just disappeared. It's not like she ate it all, that's something that could never happen. She had ended up wandering into the Faunus district in her quest to find cookie dough.
"What are you doing here, Ruby" a voice called from behind her.
She whirled around, looking for the source of the voice. Luckily for her, it was just Blake.
"Hey, Blake! I'm looking for cookie dough, do you know any good Faunus shops that sell some? I've never actually bought any from the Faunus district, so I'm glad you're here!" Ruby explained, excitedly.
Blake looked at her, confused,"Didn't you buy some yesterday? Don't tell me you ate it all again."
Ruby chuckled nervously,"What are you talking about, Blake? I've never done that. Besides, I just need to, uh, stock up. Yeah, that's exactly why I'm out here and definitely nothing else."
Blake looked at her, unconvinced but still decided to lead the way to the nearest Faunus shop that sold cookie dough, which surprisingly was not far away. Ruby, excited, dashing into the store looking for her sweet, sweet cookie dough. She quickly ran up to the Fox Faunus at the counter, and asked where it was.
"We, unfortunately, do not have any in stock. Some bakery bought it all yesterday, but we should be in stock by next week." the Fox Faunus answered.
Ruby slumped over. There was no way she could survive for an entire week without her precious cookie dough. Blake patted her back,"Hey, Ruby, it'll be fine. We can find some tomorrow. It's getting really late, we should head back, and I definitely don't wanna get murdered by Yang for letting you stay out this late."
Ruby sadly nodded, and stood up. As she was walking to the door, she began to cry. Due to her eyes being blurry from all the tears, she didn't realize that she was walking straight to her death.
"Ruby, watch out!" Blake called, but it was too late.
Ruby felt her feet slip out from under her, and slammed her head into the wall so hard it put Yang's punches to shame. As the life slowly left her eyes, she looked around for the cause of her untimely demise.
It was a banana peel. A fucking banana peel, is the reason she died. She, in another life, could have been hailed as a hero and saved so many lives. Instead, all she would be known as is 'The Huntress Because Of A Banana Peel'.
