Snow white and prince charming had twins, a boy, and a girl. One was destined to be the savior for all the fairy tale characters, while her brother was a destined savior for the wizarding world. merlin took to the boy prince to the Wizarding realm as his parents were swept away by the curse, "harry potter" defeated the Dark Lord he went on to become an Elite Auror the equivalent of a special agent of the government. three days be for what would be their 28th birthday Harry, now known by his original name of Alexander Leopold Charming opened a portal to Boston he found that he had his own story that was published. while he learned that the Authors took creative liberties with his life Emma was unaware of their pending meeting. arriving at her apartment just as she would meeting the boy that would change both their lives.

Boston was a city filled with lights, Noise, and people. There were people everywhere. To be exact, there are 684,379 people in Boston, Massachusetts, but Harry Potter was looking for just one. Apparently, Albus Percival Wolfric Brian Dumbledore had messed up his life more than what had initially been thought. Not only was Harry potter not his name, but the people he thought were his parents weren't. They were people that he'd been given to because his real parents were storybook characters who had to send him and his twin away to escape the curse the evil queen had enacted. He scoffed. He could barely believe that he believed that it was true. It had taken him literally jumping from the wizarding realm into the realm without Magic to ensure his belief; what sealed the deal was finding a book that contained his own story. Alexander Charming. Formally known as Harry Potter, bought copy using money Dumbledore transferred here.

Along with credentials Identifying him as an agent of MI6, it suited him because he had worked as an Auror in the wizarding world. Hed found that muggle money in the Wizarding realm was essentially the same as in this realm, The realm without Magic. What really made him happy was when he discovered that his wizarding Magic worked here. It wasn't as strong as it usually was, but he couldn't argue with the results.

It took him a mere few days to stay in a Hotel to read the book Entitled Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. Once he was done, he went out and bought the rest of the series. It mostly told the truth about his life. He was hated by his relatives, he was raised in a cupboard under the stairs, but Harry was less noble than the book portrayed him. He didn't go after the stone because it was the right thing to do. No, Harry did it because Harry wanted to survive, and the only way to do that was to keep the stone from Voldemort. Hed gives him the rock if he swore an unbreakable vow to leave him alone and let him live his life, but it didn't work out that way. Everyone claimed him a hero for saving the stone for putting the needs of others above himself. He wasn't sure heroism worked that way. He wanted to live, so he did everything necessary to ensure it. But everyone else reaped the rewards. Like throwing a stone into a pond, his one selfish act had ripple effects some times it causes people pain, some times it ended up saving people, but they act in and of its self was designed to make sure he lived another year. Saving the Sorcerer's stone wasn't about getting revenge for his Parents Death Harry didn't have any feelings towards them, good or bad, because the boy didn't remember them. And in book number two, The Chamber Of Secrets, told the story of how the children and teachers of the school were terrified of him because it had been discovered that he could talk to snakes. He used this to his advantage because if someone bothered him while walking down the hallway, he hissed at them in parse tongue; they'd be so scared of him that everyone eventually tried to avoid him. Yes, Dobby the house-elf had wanted to injure him with a bludger so he'd be sent home because of the danger. Still, the little twirp didn't realize that Harry would be in more trouble at his relative's home than the boy would ever be at Hogwarts. At least at Hogwarts, Harry could use Magic to save himself. He couldn't use magic in the muggle world because of the international statute of secrecy, and he was underage as well. No, Harry saved Ginny Weasley and the school from the Slytherins monster the second year because Harry didn't want his one refuge and safe haven to close. He would die trying to keep it open, and Harry had almost if not for Fawx the Phoenix saving him at the last minute.

The third book, The Prisoner Of Azkaban, was written with an unlimited imagination. The author, J.K. Rowling, really was trying to Garner sympathy for the Orphan boy when he found out that the mass murderer, Sirius Black. Was after him, the author had written him a revenge plot only to take it away at the last moment with a glimmer of hope with family and someone who could take him in and tell him all about the Beloved parents. And just when he had hope and happiness in his grasp, she took it all away. That simply wasn't the way it happened. He had no care or sympathy for Sirius black. Hed let a half-giant take him because Dumbledore said he would be better off with his relatives since they were his blood kin. No, he wanted to find Sirius black and Kill him for leaving him in that situation, that he listened more to what an old Barmy wizard wanted than what his Supposed parents wanted. When Hermione, Ron, and He had eventually found Sirius Black under the whomping willow, the only thing that stopped him from killing the man was the witnesses around him. Which were his friends, his Defense against the Dark arts teacher, Remus Lupin. And his Potions Teacher Severus Snape joined them under the tree just before He could get any real answers or justice. He would have killed Peter Pettigrew as well, but he was only a third-year. Harry didn't know any spells that could contain an Animagus, as it turned out Peter Pettigrew hid for the last twelve years, pretending to be Ron's pet rat. He would have left the convict alone to have his soul sucked out if it hadn't been for Hermione's determination to complete the mission Dumbledore had sent them on. The Crazy old wizard had to be insane, sending two thirteen-year-olds back through time to save a Hippogryph and an escaped convict who was undoubtedly mad with insanity being around dementors for twelve years. But again, to be able to keep coming back to Hogwarts, he'd done whatever he had to, not out of noble intentions or because of Love or Family loyalty. But because it was the need to survive long enough to either make a Deal with Voldemort or to live long enough to kill him so he could live his own life.

Harry read the lies, exaggerations, and half-truths written in, The Goblet of Fire, The Order of the Phoenix, The Half-blood Prince, and The Deathly Hollows. These books didn't give an accurate accounting of who he was, what his life was like, or his motives behind his actions. It gave the reader a romantic notion that Harry was a hero and did everything light and good when Harry hadn't, Harry was not necessarily Dark, but the Boy wizard was nowhere near as pure light as the author depicted him to be. He was morally and magically grey. He didn't believe in definitive divides in light and Dark. He agreed somewhat with what Voldemort had told him in his first year There is no good or evil, but only power and those too weak to seek it. Harry Believed that Evil acts; splitting your soul just to have an immortal life because you were afraid of death or were Evil Killing indiscriminately because someone didn't agree with your viewpoints were evil.

He had no problem killing when the need called for it. Harry had killed someone at the tender age of eleven for the first time, and the boy had been the cause of more death since then. What the books did get right was that he was now the Master of Death. Harry was now the embodiment of death. He could either stop death from occurring or resurrect those lost to death, like the Dark one, he was more potent than most because of the Elder wand, and he could close himself off from the unseen world because of the invisibility cloak.

Fawex gave him the letter written to him by Dumbledore when his Destiny was fulfilled. The flaming bird had been instructed that Harry only receive it once the Dark Lord and the Horcruxes were gone. Once the final battle had been completed, Fawex had flashed to him and presented him with the missive. Harry opened the letter tentatively. He was nervous about receiving a letter from Dumbledore, especially after his death. Harry opened the message and discovered that his name was not Harry James Potter but that he was born Prince Alexander Leopold charming. The boy who conquered was not the famed Harry potter as he thought he'd been. No, he was the son of the ruling Prince and princess of the enchanted forest, where ever that was. Dumbledore went on to explain that Alexander had been brought to him by an unknown wizard. He, Albus Dumbledore, was charged with his care and placement and sworn a vow that he would ensure the boy's health and safety; if he did not abide by his oath, he would be Killed. James and Lilly had been selected as parents because of their political views on Magic. Dumbledore supposed the child he had been given should be raised as a hero if the wizard was believed. The strange wizard had shared with Dumbledore that the boy's twin sister would be the savior of the enchanted realm that she would be responsible for bringing back all the happy endings. The unknown wizard also shared that Alexander's parents were heroes, making sense to Dumbledore to place the boy with a light-aligned family.

Once the boy was settled with glamour over his appearance to make him look like a mix of James and Lilly and was given a new name, the only thing Dumbledore had left to do was convince the parents to take the child in and keep him safe. When the arrangements had been completed, the strange wizard Had Vanished, and Harry would not see him again for a long time. The letter explained that Alexander was born with wizard magic, meaning he had a magical core. His Magic was different because he and his twin were the products of true love. Meaning Prince Alexander didn't need a wand to focus his Magic. Once he was transported into the realm without Magic, the Elder wand, the resurrection stone, and the Invisibility cloak merely shimmered out of existence. It was replaced by a Tattoo on his inner right-hand wrist. In the letter, it relayed the story of a man dressed in blue robes. The man had appeared to the Prince and princess just before the curse hit.

The wizard introduced himself as merlin and told Alexander's parents that they should trust him since he worked closely with the fairies if they trusted the blue fairy. When merlin had gained snows and charming's trust, he explained that the wardrobe would send Emma, their firstborn, to the land without Magic, where she would live for twenty-eight years before she would come and break the curse. Alexander had different Magic, though. He would be sent to a realm where he could learn to harness his Magic. Merlin explained that Wizarding magic was more volatile in their youth, that more expressions of accidental Magic could hurt those around him. Merlin explained that his Magic responded to his emotions. Snow White and Prince charming feared for their second child. If their son's Magic could be explosive, then, of course, he should go where he would gain training. Once Alexander had come to the end of the letter, he noticed a postscript that read.

P.s. This is a magical bean from the realm of your birth. All you need to do is throw the bean onto the ground.

It will open a portal once you jump through it. Keep in mind your destination; it was explained that the apparition rules would be best remembered when realm jumping with the use of portals—destination, Determination, and Deliberation.

Alexander, I would like to express my utmost gratitude that you have saved our world, even though it was not your own.

I have done many things that I have regretted in my life Alexander but agreeing to take you in was not one of them; though you have suffered much because of me, I feel that we have both gained experience.

I shall instruct Fawex to come to you if you should ever need him. Be safe Alexander Charming, the address to your sister's Apartment is 205 market Ave Boston, Massachusetts 01001

Yours sincerely Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore.

So that was how Alexander Leopold Charming found himself in Boston three days before his and Emma's 28th birthday. Alexander was getting out of a cab that had delivered him to the address written on Dumbledore's Letter.

Fairyland in the past

Thirty years in the past In a Realm far, far away. Prince Charming sat astride a white horse. They had just gotten out of the infinite forest. He and his horse were now galloping along a long stretch of land towards the woods he was intimately familiar with; Charming had been on his search for days. He was determined to find her, Snow-white, his true love. He would not stop until he did. Several hours later, he was met by several dwarves who were gathered around a glass coffin. In that coffin held a woman with long black hair, dressed in a white dress, The oldest of the Dwarfs, his name was Doc, He approached the stunned prince carefully; they were all in mourning right now. "You're too late." The one called Doc said. They were all mourning the loss of their princess and their friend.

Prince Charming wouldn't believe it, he searched for her, she had to be alive. He walked over to the coffin that held the body of the woman he loved. He had done everything that he could to find her, Charming had promised her when they first met that the Prince would always find her, but now it seemed that even though Charming found her, he was late in doing so. "No. No! Open it." he wanted to hold her one last time, one of the other Dwarfs spoke up gruffly, the prince recognized him, snow-white had shared their names with him on one of their brief meetings that they'd had this Dwarf's name is Grumpy.

"I'm sorry, she's gone." The Prince looked up to the group of Snow White's seven friends. He tried one last time to plead with them, "At least let me say goodbye."

The dwarves removed the lid from the coffin. Prince Charming stood before her. He then took a step up on the pedestal; leaning down, he kissed his true love for what he thought would be the last time; when their lips connected, it caused the sleeping curse to be broken. Throughout the land, a powerful pulse of magic spread. Snow White woke up and gasp.

Snow White looked at the Dwarfs who were weeping with joy, then she turned her head to see the man who had woken her up. "You, You found me." Prince Charming reached his hands out and grabbed onto her face; before he could kiss her again, he asked her teasingly, "Did you ever doubt I would?" Snow White smiled. She placed one of her hands on his hand that was holding onto her cheek and the other on the back of Prince Charming's head, then she stated in a mock-serious tone. "Truthfully, the glass coffin gave me pause."

Prince Charming smiled at their teasing of each other. It is good to see you smile, my love. His facial features changed. He looked deeply into her eyes so she would know that his following words were severe, that what he would say next was a promise he would always keep. "Well, you never have to worry. I will always find you." Snow White saw the promise in his eyes. She asked in a small voice; Snow had just been through something traumatic. She wanted to believe those words more than anything. "Do you promise?"

It had been a year of fighting; Snow and Charming and the People of the enchanted forest had been trying to regain their kingdom. Once they had Defeated the Evil Queen and banished her to her Castle, they wasted no time in making preparations for their marriage. Finally, it was the wedding day, the people of the Realm were all within the citadel witnessing the marriage of their Princess and her chosen Prince. They had watched as one of Snow White's fathers' spiritual advisers married the two in a beautiful Ceremony, the priest had just asked Prince charming if he promised to take Snow White as his wife and love her for all eternity? to which he answered. "I do."

The Priest then turned to His Princess and repeated the question. "And do you, Snow White, promise to take this man to be your husband and love him for all eternity?" he didn't need any time to think. He had loved Snow white from the moment he laid eyes on her and thinking she was a bandit.

Snow White gazed lovingly into Charming's eyes; there was no other man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, she replied without any question or doubt in her mind. "I do. The Priest then raised his hands and announced the newly married couple to their subjects. "I now pronounce you husband and wife."

The audience broke out in cheer and applause, from their subjects were so joyous at this moment celebrating the marriage of their princess to prince charming. Snow White and Prince Charming leaned in for a kiss. Still, before they could seal their lips, they were interrupted by The Evil Queen entering the Citadel. She strode up the Isle, leaving whimpering and gasp's of fright in her wake. The Evil queen began to speak in an obviously fake sweet voice, "Sorry, I'm late."

The Evil Queen approached the just married couple. Two of Snow's guards try to stop her approach, but she pushed them out of the way with magic. The Oldest Dwarf then Yelled out. "It's the Queen. Run!"

Snow white drew Prince Charming's sword Snow Pointed it at the Evil Queen, Stopping her subjects in their tracks before they took a chance to run for their lives. "She's not the Queen anymore. She's nothing more than an evil witch." She said in anger and determination. Snow was tired of the Evil Bitch trying to destroy her happiness. Snow and Charming had just gotten married; Dammit. She wasn't going to let the queen everything else in her life.

Prince Charming, who still stood beside his wife, Charming placed a hand on her forearm to stop her from killing the Witch; he spoke in earnest to her not for the queen's interest but for Snow, he didn't want her lower herself to Regina's level. "No, no, no. Don't stoop to her level. There is no need." Prince Charming took the sword from his wife then replied to the Queen. "You're wasting your time. You've already lost. And I will not let you ruin this wedding."

The Evil Queen scoffed at the nerve of this boy playing the prince. He had no idea who he was dealing with. If he thought it was brave to stand up to her... she would show him how wrong he was. "Oh, I haven't come here to ruin anything. On the contrary, dear, I've come to give you a gift."

Snow White continued to bristle at the gumption Regena was displaying for the kingdom's whole to witness. She was quickly reaching her tolerance level. "We want nothing from you."

Evil Queen postured herself like she was going to be presenting them with a grand gift. She let a broad smile slide onto her face, Regina knew she wasn't fooling the Charming's or their little lap puppies, but she couldn't help but enjoy the theatrics. "But you shall have it! My gift to you is this happy, happy day. But tomorrow, my real work begins. You've made your vows. Now I make mine. Soon, everything you love" Regina then pointed to each of those in attendance. "everything all of you love, will be taken from you. Forever. And out of your suffering, will rise my victory. I shall destroy your happiness if it is the last thing I do."

With her speech given, the Evil Queen turned around and headed for the door. Prince Charming, for some unknowable reason, felt her threat to his very core. It made him angry and a bit reckless and scared not only for the life he was beginning but for his and everyone's happiness as well, so with those emotions playing at the forefront of his mind, he pulled the sword back over his head, then he called out to her. "Hey!"

The Queen turned just as Prince Charming threw his sword at her, but before the sword was to penetrate her chest, she dissipated into a swirl of purple smoke. The remaining people at the wedding nervously talked amongst themselves. Prince Charming and Snow White hugged each other close. They were trying their best to offer comfort to each other.

October 19, 2011, three days before Emma and Alexander's 28th Birthday.

Fawkes had flamed into the parlor of Potter manor with a letter clutched in his beak. He didn't have to wonder whom it was from for very long because he recognized the green hand squiggly handwriting on the Front of the Letter. Still, the Name was a little disconcerting since he didn't remember the name.

To: Prince Alexander Leopold Charming,

Former Resident of the Wizarding world, welcome to the realm without magic.

From: Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore.

Former Headmaster of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and Wizardry,

Former supreme mugwump, Holder of the order of Merlin, first class.

The former head of the international confederation of Wizards and the former Grand sorcerer and Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot.

Harry opened the letter, Cautiously. He'd never been the Gryffindor others had expected him to be. His childhood had seen to that. He was more cautious and leaned towards the Slytherin traits of self-preservation. He had only pretended everything he'd done through his seven years of schooling was with noble intentions. He was surprised to find that his magic worked here as he conjured a Lumos ball so he could read the letter better. Harry waved his hand over the letter multiple times. He cast every detection and authentication charm he knew. When they all turned out to be free of anything such as portkey's or compulsion charms, hexes, or jinxes, the authentication charms proved that the letter was just what it seemed to be. So he opened the letter and read.

Dear Harry-

I am regretful to tell you in a letter but being as these are my last months upon this earth and all, this is the way you are to learn that you are not who you always believed yourself to be. You, my Dear boy, were born in a Realm far different than our own. The Realm that was supposed to be your home was called the Enchanted Forest, your parents were the newly crowned Prince and Princess of the Realm, and they were at war with a woman known as Regina. She became a tyrant and was coined with the name The Evil Queen. Your Parents Alexander and all those who lived in your homeland were subjected to a curse that would Destroy the Happiness of every person in their realm, This curse transported them to the Realm that Fawkes has taken you to it is a Realm with out Magic the curse Erased their memories of who they were in their old lives, you my Boy and your twin sister were sent through different portals to save you both and give you your best chance, you were given to me by a Wizard by the name of Merlin I convinced that James and Lilly to take you and keep you safe, but I before merlin was assured of your placement I placed a Glamour on you and changed your name I also Promised Merlin by making an unbreakable vow between myself according to the Calendar in Realm with out magic it being the night of October 22nd 1983 that three days prior to yours and Emma's 28th birthday I would reunite you with your twin sister, Alexander I wish to inform you that your sister was fated to be the savior of your realm just as fate chose you to be the savior of ours.

I have instructed Fawkes as my last order and request that he answer your call when and if you need him. All you need do is call his name. You will find her address below on the parchment. Also accompanied with this letter are your credentials, Banking information, and Credit cards; I took the liberty of having the goblins transfer all of your wealth into a bank account that activated once you left our realm. I know it might have seemed presumptuous to do so. Still, I knew you would not always remain in our Realm and need paperwork and finances. I have prepared your background information to fit in. No one will think things are suspicious. You are Alexander Leopold Charming, a Special agent within MI-6 of the British secret service. Still, you also have the authority of the FBI while you are on American Soil. Their records and memories are modified in preparation for all that you may need; they also know you are taking a sabbatical in the U.S. to reconnect with your newly found sibling. I must warn you that you must help your sister in whatever way she needs; it will be a task that will be filled with peril just as yours was. I trust that you will keep things that do not need to be shared secret until a time where she believes in who she is. I know you'll work as a Slytherin would. Good Luck to you Alexander, I wish you nothing but success and Happiness.

Yours sincerely.

Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore.

Harry read the Letter twice more, trying to wrap his head around the information he received. He was really in a land without Magic? Or at least the Magic his Parents were used to. Who knew his own magic mutated once used to the magic and casting with a wand in the Wizarding World? Well, it seemed that it didn't matter because his hybrid magic worked either wandlessly. He had watched in horror when the Elder wand, the cloak of invisibility, and the resurrection shimmered out of existence. It wasn't until he noticed burning inside his right wrist when he looked at it, his eyes bugged out in awe. Whoa, the Hallows turned into a magical Tattoo! it was awesome body art, but he was also relieved that he still had access to them and their power. After that, Alexander couldn't help but ponder on how weird it was that his parents were; Snow White and Prince Charming were somewhere cursed with no memories of their former lives. At least according to Dumbledore's letter anyway. To think that Alexander Leopold Charming Formally know as the Boy who lived. Was a prince. All he could do was thank every deity that he knew was associated with the Wizarding realm that he had access to his magic. Really until he had more information, that's all he was prepared to be happy about.

Harry quickly placed his New I.D's and Bank cards in his wallet, then he cast an incendio on the letter he watched it turn to ash. Without another moment of thought, he canceled the Lumos, walked out of the alley, and hailed a Taxi. Once he got in the cab that stopped to pick him up, he gave the driver the address to Emma's apartment. He was fascinated by the City. He read the road signs and figured out that he was in Boston, Maine, located in America's Eastern united states. It was just about the same as the Wizarding Realm, except that he was the only wizard in this Realm. At least he wouldn't have to worry about breaking the worldwide Statute of secrecy or, but he'd decide to make his own statute. He'd had enough from his fam... Vernon and Petunia Dursley thinking him a freak because of his magic. He wasn't going to put himself in that situation again; he'd already decided keeping magic on the down-low was the best idea for now.

A young boy, by the name of Henry, was on a bus that was headed to Boston; in his lap, Henry held a book that had stories the one that he was currently reading was Snow White and Prince Charming. An African American woman looked over at the young man traveling all by himself; she looked curiously at the book that he held in his lap. She leaned over and asked. "That a good book?"

Henry looked up from his book and stated confidently that he believed that this was the key that would change his life forever. "This? It's more than just a book." The Woman arched her eyebrow in surprise at his conviction. He must really love that book. Oh, she'd read many a book that had touched her deeply, and he was about the age where significant life changes occurred. "Oh?" she said. But before Henry could say anything further, he was interrupted by a voice came over the broadcasting system

"Boston, South Station. Thank you for riding Greyhound." Henry gathered his book, stuffing it into his backpack, and exited the bus station. He walked over to find a taxi. Once he had knocked on the window, the driver rolled down the passenger window to converse the young man. Henry took the card from his pocket and held it up, and asked innocently. "Uh... You take credit cards?" the Taxi driver gestured for Henry to hop in the back seat. Once he observed the young man do up his seatbelt, once Henry had buckled up, the Taxi driver asked, "Where to, chief?"

For this story's purposes, Emma was found on the side of the road with August on Oct 22nd even though in the Enchanted forest they were born on the Last day of July, just as Harry's Prophecy indicates.

Elsewhere, a tall Blond woman, whose name was Emma Swan, exited an elevator. She walked into what appeared to be a very fancy restaurant. Emma took just a moment to look around to spot her date. The man she was meeting was Tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. he spotted her and stood up from his chair he met her halfway around the table that he was sitting Brian held out his had to shake hers while questioning her Identity. "Emma?"

Emma smiled; yeah, she hated the pretense of not knowing who he was even though she already knew who he was. She played her brainless blond act and made sure that he was who she was looking to meet. "Ryan? You look relieved."

Ryan replied to her statement as he pulled out the chair for her. "Well, it is the internet. Pictures can be."

Emma sat down, then finished the thought while smiling as if she'd been through all of the same things as he had. "Fake. Outdated. Stolen or from Victoria's Secret catalog. So..." Emma knew the kind of things people did to hide their identity, she had to know for her Job as a bail bonds person.

Ryan put on a charming smile as he began to question Emma about herself and her life. "So Um, Tell me something about yourself, Emma." She's so hot, he thought to himself, getting her back to the Hotel would be easy, he hoped.

Emma sighed. She thought for a moment about what she could safely say to him without getting too personal. "Oh. Ah, well, today's my birthday." She could let that little bit of information slip. She wasn't so emotional that she cared if he knew.

Ryan sat back. He was surprised, he would definitely be doing something a little bit more fun than having a blind first date, but if Ryan could get her into bed, he would make sure she had an excellent birthday. "And you're spending it with me! What about your friends?" Emma shrugged a bit. She knew that this was as good as her nights ever got. She didn't have friends or family to hang out with, which was beyond Depressing.

"Well, I'm Kind of a loner," Emma stated. She'd always been a loner, shed never had any friends, and the couple that Emma did have, had disappointed her, so Emma Swan felt like if she was to protect herself, then it had to be just her. She wouldn't let anyone get close enough to hurt her again.

Ryan nodded then asked, just as bold as a one could be, but that was par for the case since he thought he would be giving her birthday sex. "And, you don't like your family?"

Emma shook her head, then replied a bit sadly. "No, family to like." That she knew of at least, she didn't know that Emma would have two new family members by the time she got home tonight. She had wanted a family, a sibling, someone that she could hang out with. Emma had thought she had found one once, a mother. Emma had spent almost a year with Mrs. Fisher before the woman had freaked her out, saying that she had hidden powers. It was crazy, and that was the closest she had come to a family.

Ryan didn't understand what she was trying to say when she said Emma didn't have any family she liked. "Oh, come on. Everyone has a family." Although he was a hypocrite because he had a wife and child, he was ignoring them.

That made Emma, Roll her eyes mentally. She wasn't going to explain her sad story to this sad sack, but if it would help ease him into trusting her a bit more so she could take him into custody, then the pain it would bring up would be worth it. "Technically, yeah. And everyone knows who they are? Ready to run yet?" Ryan obviously didn't pick up a hint of bitterness in her tone; living on the streets and the Foster system sucked Ass at times, but it was better than being constantly being let down and growing old enough that no one wanted to adopt you.

Ryan chuckled. She thought that this would scare him off; oh, she had no clue it just made things a lot easier. There wouldn't be any strings attached or messy family problems. It was precisely what he was looking for. "Oh, not a chance. You, Emma, are by far the sexiest, friendless orphan I have ever met." Emma Snorted in fake amusement to his stupid, insensitive joke. She had just reached her tolerance level with this idiot, so now it was time to flip the switch, tell this guy who she really was, and get the dude into jail. "Okay. Your turn. No, wait, let me guess. Um, You are handsome, charming."

Ryan preened at the compliments Emma was showering him with. That was one of his fatal flaws. He loved the attention; it certainly wasn't what he got at home, no it was Honey, I need this, Honey to that, Daddy, Daddy I need you it was enough to drive a man insane. "Go on."

Emma Sat forward to Coyly like she was going to reveal the best thing about him. "The kind of guy who – and now, stop me if I get this wrong – embezzled from your employer, got arrested, and skipped town before they were able to throw your ass in jail." She would have laughed at him for how long it was taking his brain to kick into gear and figure out who she was, but this was no laughing matter. This guy was a dirtbag, a thief, and a deadbeat.

Ryan sat there. He was stunned she had played him. She had played him good. And the crazy thing is he wasn't outraged. shocked, yeah, he didn't know what to say, so all he said was. "What?"

Emma leaned in further, genuinely disgusted by the person in front of her; she didn't even think she could call the scumbag a man, he left his family high and dry without any help or money to get by, but the woman still loved him, he was an idiot to give that up. "And the worst part of all is your wife. Your wife loves you so much that she bailed you out, and how do you repay that loyalty? You're on a date."

Ryan was suspicious. She figured out a lot about him when it was almost impossible to do since his case was sealed. No one could investigate him except the authorities. That notion got him thinking did Emma worked for law enforcement? "Who are you?"

Emma placed the napkin that she had on her lap; she placed it on the table to get up if she needed to. "The chick who put up the rest of the money." She had made good money as a bail bonds person. It was her specialty, Finding people.

Ryan looked at her incredulously; it couldn't be possible that she was a bounty hunter. She was too gorgeous to be one. He mentally rolled his eyes. She probably used her looks to lure the mark in just as she had done to him. "You're a bail bondsman."

Emma bristled at the stereotype and corrected him because it made her mad. She has never been ordinary; she worked outside the standard social box. There was no way she was going to let this guy place labels on her "Bail bonds person."

Ryan took his chance. He quickly flipped the table, spilling everything on Emma. He jumped up out of his seat and ran out of the restaurant. Emma stood up and backed away just in enough time to avoid most of the contents on the table except for the water splashed all over her Dress. "Really?" she exclaimed unhappily. Emma shook the Excess of liquid off her hands; Emma picked up her clutch that had, then followed Ryan outside, walking at a swift pace. Emma didn't need to run because she had him well truly stuck.

Ryan ran across the street. He was dodging traffic, trying to get to his car. Emma was calmly walking towards Ryan's car. Ryan started the ignition. He pulled the shift stick and put it into Drive, but the car wouldn't move. Ryan opened the door to see what was going on with his vehicle. He saw that a boot had been attached. by then, Emma caught up to him. Ryan then tried to reason with her, thinking that she didn't have the moral gumption to turn down a bribe. "You don't have to do this, okay? I can pay you. I got money."

Emma scoffed at his gall to try and bribe his way out of incarceration by offering what he didn't have. "No, you don't. And if you did, you should give it to your wife to take care of your family."

Ryan spat out. "What the hell would you know about family, huh?" It was a harsh thing to say, but he wanted to hurt her, throw her off maybe so he could try and getaway, but it had done the complete opposite. Her anger at this jerk just boiled over. Emma grabbed him by the back of the shirt slammed Ryan's head against the steering wheel. His comment hurt and angered her deeply. She also lashed out violently. "Nothing"

Emma then cuffed him and took him into the police station. Once he was locked up, she took the paperwork that she needed to get paid the bounty that was owed to her from the Sargent at the front desk; she stopped at a bakery and picked up a cupcake after that, then it would be just her and a quiet evening at home, then it would all start over the next day.

Harry will now on be called Alexander since that's the name I've chosen for him in this Fic

Alexander got out of the Taxi, which had taken him to the Apartment building addressed to his Sister Emma Swan. Before Alexander Got out of the car, he paid the fare, gave the driver quite a good tip, enjoyed the ride, and the driver of the cab had been chatty. Hence, it took up the silence that surely would have dominated the atmosphere. Alexander was new to this Realm; he didn't have anything to say about it, and besides, Alexander wasn't a big talker. He'd always been a good listener and observant person. He only spoke when he had figured the problem out or if he had something Vital to say. The Cabby, whose name was Vizier samayas, thanked him, then gave him a salute and drove away. Alexander walked into the Building unaware that Henry, his nephew, followed him, though he was unknowingly following his uncle. "Well, buck up, Boy time to garner some of that long lost Gryffindor courage, mate," he said to himself

Alexander and Henry stepped into the same Elevator; Alexander looked down at the boy. Then over at the panel of numbered buttons, he pushed the button for floor 14 then asked the kid who looked to be about 10 years old man Alexander been smaller than this kid when he was that age Damn Dursleys, Alexander thought then he asked: "Which floor did you need mate?" Henry looked up at the man who was talking to him, he looked like a nice guy, maybe a little ruff around the edges, but he looked a bit strange. He was dressed in a long brown trench coat with a pack attached around his waist and tied to his thigh he kind of looked like a cowboy; Henry pointed to the button that Alexander had pushed. "Uh, I'm going to the same floor you are."

Alexander nodded but didn't say anything further. He wasn't even concerned that the kid was wandering the city alone. Alexander, as Harry Potter had done as much. Alexander was that age, and younger no one cared that he did, so he didn't have the moral experience to question it either. Alexander wondered if the kid lived here or if the kid was visiting someone. If the boy lived here, Alexander could ask him if he knew anything about his Sister.

5 minutes earlier

Emma had arrived home to her apartment. She popped the key in the keyhole and gave it a jiggle; it always got stuck, which only worsened. After all, Emma was bouncing from foot to foot because her arches ached. Finally, she got the door opened, holding a box, tossed her keys in a bowl by the door, and began trying to take off her high heels. Emma had them off the instant she was inside her home. She placed the box that held a cupcake inside. She wandered over to her kitchen and grabbed the matches; Emma put a single, star-shaped candle on top, then struck a match to light the candle. She leaned on the counter and stared at it. Then said in a melancholy tone. "Another banner year."

She closes her eyes, makes a wish, and blows out the candle. Just then, the doorbell rang. Emma sighed in tiredness who is it? there was no answer. Still, just another ring Just a minute. She called out. Once she made it to the door, Emma opened it only to find a young boy and late twenties early thirties aged man who had the most startling green eyes she had ever seen. Emma and Alexander had no idea that he had his mother's hair and eyes and not James's hair and Lilly's eyes. And that she had gotten her hair and eye color from her father's side of the family

5 minutes previously

Henry kept looking at the man standing next to him on the Elevator, he looked familiar to him, but he couldn't put his finger on it, so he asked. "So, Uh do you live here?"

Alexander looked down at the kid. He was brave to talk to strangers; he knew that he didn't look the friendliest but shouldn't the boy know better? Alexander might only be 5'10, but the kid was only about 4'11, so there was a bit of height between them. Alexander couldn't help feeling that his magic wanted to bond with this boy. For some reason, he was trying to reign his magic because this kid was winding his magic up. It didn't feel menacing, but it wanted to latch onto him. He sighed in annoyance at his magic being twitchy like this. It hadn't happened since lashing out at Marj Dursley when she called the woman he thought was his mother a bitch. He'd accidentally cast an inflation charm on her. He thought back on that, thinking that it must have been his natural Realm's magic coming into play since he didn't use a wand, but he felt it was accidental magic. He shook himself out of his thoughts and answered the Boy.

"No, I don't live here. I just transferred here from... Overseas I was informed I had been adopted, so I took a sabbatical, and I'm looking for my Sister who apparently lives in this building." He replied. The boy nodded then held out his hand so Alexander could shake it.

"I'm Henry Mills." Alexander chuckled at the kid's Moxy; he had courage in spades. Hopefully, the boy had a little cunning in there as well; bravery was exemplary, but if it didn't come with brains, the kid would be in for it, so he decided to mess with him a bit. He grabbed the offered hand and shook it twice, then introduced himself, "I'm Agent Charming, Alexander Leopold Charming from MI-6." He watched as Henry's mouth dropped open like a wailing mandrake, except no sound was escaping the Gaping hole. The poor boy just continued to gape at Alexander.

He couldn't believe that he was shaking the hand of a real live secret agent. "Are you like James Bond? Wow." Alexander didn't know much about who this James Bond person was, so he shrugged and nodded his head, going along with the kid's Idea. Alexander looked at the kid. Trying to work out who this bond guy was. He believed that James Bond was either a famous Spy in the western united states or someone from the movies. Before Alexander thought any more about it, he looked down at what the kid was holding in his other arm. He could see a large book the Title read ONCE UPON A TIME on the front page in big storybook lettering. Maybe it was a fictional character? That thought made him snort in amusement at the idea that just passed through his mind. It would at least be Ironic, seeing as Alexander was from two different magical realms, and he was based on a fictional character, or so the world thought. Here he thought a fictional character was laughable, entertaining, something not real.

Alexander took his hand out of Henry's grip and then turned his body to the side; leaning up against the wall, Alexander crossed one foot over the other and then crossed his arms over his chest. He smirked at the adoration he saw in the kid's eyes. Oh, Alexander had plenty of that when he was known as Harry Potter. Still, this kid didn't know anything about him, so the adoration was based on a romantic idea of what being an agent meant. He would bet all the money he had in the bank that this kid idolized him based on a book or a movie Alexander didn't mind. At least it was something that he would grow out of. The boy was only ten; he didn't need to know the horrors of the world, yet it would be terrible of him to tell the kid that things weren't always sunshine and daisies.

"So Henry, do you live here, know any woman by the name of Emma Swan?" that got a reaction out of the kid. Henry looked straight into Alexander's eyes and said, "she's my mom."

Now it was his turn to gape like a wailing Mandrake. How in the bloody hell was it possible that his potter luck stayed with him even though he was not really a potter? Could it really be that he'd just walked into the elevator at the same time his nephew did? That gave him a chill up his spine; something was at work here; He could just feel it. It was like that feeling he got when Trelawney spouted that second prophecy in his third year.

"uh, so that would uh... make you what my nephew... right?" Henry nodded his head, looking at him speculatively. He hadn't seen Alexander in his book.

Still, Henry had a feeling about him that what Alexander was saying was true. Alexander was his uncle; unknown to Henry, the story was already rewriting itself. The words and pictures were magically unhidden since the prince had come back to reunite with his sister. Once they reached the 14th floor, both got off and walked towards apartment 205. They walked up to the door, and Alexander looked at Henry. He looked a bit nervous but determined, yes that boy would do well in Gryffindor. Henry then raised his hand and knocked on the door; a minute later, they heard someone inside ask who was there. Alexander ignored that and rang the bell again; this time, the woman yelled that she would be but a moment, and then the door was opened. The two saw a young woman with blue eyes and blond hair poked her head out and asked the two of them.

"Uh... Can I help you?" Emma asked warily. The boy seemed innocent enough, but the older man, who was about five inches taller than her, looked to have a hard edge about him. Henry got up his courage and asked.

"Are you Emma Swan?" Henry asked. Emma looked at the kid and then at the young man she felt a pull towards him she didn't know why but it didn't matter when she answered the kid's question "Yeah. Who are you two?" Henry didn't waste any time. "My name Henry. I'm your son."

Henry pushed past Emma into the apartment. Emma stared at Alexander as if he had the answers. Alexander shrugged, rolling his eyes at the kid's antics. He wasn't foolish enough to go introducing himself in such a blunt way. No, Alexander was more cunning than that. He simply pulled out a letter on an official-looking letterhead and handed it to her; it was a letter that he had conjured in the cab on the way over here. It was from his supposed adopted parents. Stating that Alexander was adopted from an American orphanage and knowing the baby had a twin sister, they were only willing to adopt him. The information about her was left in trust until he was 28. Emma looked up from the paper, she had a desperate longing in her eyes, but the only words that came out of her mouth were.

"I didn't know I had a brother," lame she knew. Still, what else was she supposed to say? Alexander pulled her into a hug and whispered tightly because of the lump in his throat. His magic recognized her as his blood family.

He ached for her. "I didn't know I had a sister, but I'm glad I found you." they were broken apart when she could hear Henry shuffling around in her apartment, "come on in," she said as she moved away from the entry. Alexander closed the door behind him and followed her. They found the boy wandering around looking and touching her knickknacks. It was irritating to Emma; she had very little that was her own, so she didn't like when people messed with her stuff.

"Whoa! Hey, kid! Kid! Kid! I don't have a son! Where are your parents?" she looked back at Alexander again like he had all the answers.

"Hey, don't be looking to me for answers with this sister dear; I just met him on the lift up here." she arched her eyebrows at the apparent British slang. Henry sighed and rolled his eyes; he was all ready to go back and have Emma and Alexander come home with him and have Emma break the curse.

"Ten years ago. Did you give up a baby for adoption?" When Emma didn't respond to his question, he simply went on. "That was me." Emma just about fell over if it hadn't have been for Alexander grabbing her and holding her up.

Once, she felt stable on her feet again. Emma started walking to the bathroom; "Give me a minute." She said over her shoulder before stepping into the bathroom so she could compose herself.

It was information overload. Not only had the son that Emma had given up for adoption found her, but Her twin brother also found her as well. A twin Emma never knew existed. Apparently, he never knew Emma existed either. She believed him her superpower didn't go off, warning her about him. He was hard-edged, just like Emma was. Maybe they had similar upbringings she didn't know, but her thoughts were interrupted when Henry yelled from the other side of the door.

"Hey, you have any juice?... Never mind, Alexander found some." Alexander pulled a glass from the cupboard, poured some juice in it, and slid it over the tabletop counter to Henry, his nephew. He looked at the boy. Henry reminded Alexander of himself at the age of eleven. When Hagrid had come to him and informed Alexander that he was a wizard and would soon be off to Hogwarts for 9 months out of the year, he had been thrilled to leave the Dursleys because he would be leaving people that didn't care two flying snitches about him. Was what Henry was doing? Did Henry want to find his birth mother so he could get away from his current living situation? a minute more of silence, then he voiced his opinion,

"You know, mate, it would probably work out a lot better for you if you used a bit more cunning and tact. Emma looks like she'd fight tooth and nail in the opposite direction if you keep going on as you are, but that's just a bit of uncle advice for you," before Henry could say anything to him, Emma exited the bathroom.

Alexander was just reaching into the Icebox to put the juice away; he had just turned around to say that he should probably find accommodations for the night, but before Alexander could utter a word, Henry opened his mouth. Words began to spew out like Ron when his slug curse backfired on him.

"You know, we should probably get going." at this, Alexander looked at Emma like she should have all the answers this time. He also gave her a look that said: he's your kid; you deal with him. She narrowed her eyes at him and tried to use the force to choke him like in Star Wars, to which Alexander shrugged and gave her a cheeky smile. Oh, her brother would be a pain in the Ass, she could already tell; wait, was he older or was she? Emma shook her head then asked what he meant "Going where?"

Henry looked down and shuffled his shoes, then he looked at Emma then at Alexander. He remembered what his uncle had said that Henry would need to use cunning to get what he wanted, so the boy raised his head and looked Emma in the eyes, with a determined expression that said Henry was going to get what he wanted.

"I want you two to come home with me." Alexander chuckled. Henry certainly did remind him of himself at 10 and 11yrs old. He had been so brazen after entering the wizarding world, he had to be. To stand up to the scrutiny and expectations that were heaved on him at that young age. Alexander walked over to Henry. He crouched down and looked into his nephew's face. Alexander knew that look that was displayed so clearly on his nephew's face. It was a look he had at the end of every school year; this was a look that told a story about a lonely kid who didn't want to go home. Because something at home sucked, so he asked.

"Henry, how come you don't want you to go home without us?" Henry didn't answer. He couldn't believe his uncle had guessed. But Henry looked at Alexander desperately as if trying to get him to read what Henry couldn't say. And so he did; Alex cast a non-verbal Legilimens and looked at Henry's surface thoughts. The boy believed that every person in his hometown was a cursed fairytale character and how his adopted mother was the Evil Queen. But before he could say anything else, Emma interrupted; she was irritated at her life being invaded by the kid; she gave up.

"Okay, kid. I'm calling the cops." Henry looked up at her and jutted out his chin defiantly. "Then I'll tell them you kidnapped me." Alexander gave Henry a look that told him that saying that was a bad idea then he said.

"They'd believe you because she's your birth mother but not the best way to gain allies if you want favors; besides, it wouldn't work her alibi is iron since I'm here, I'd simply have to tell the authorities that I met you in the Elevator and that you told me you were here to meet your mum. The authorities would believe me since I'm an international agent with ties to the FBI, but it was a good try, mate. It would be best to just tell the truth here."

Emma ignored what her brother was saying; she knew that Henry was lying and that the police's threat would startle him into seeing things her way, so she started walking towards the phone. She knew that this would make him spill the beans, Henry saw this, and he ran to her and pulled on her arm, stopping her. "Wait, please don't call the cops. Please, come home with me, please, both of you."

Emma side glanced at Alexander to see what he thought of the situation. He was hard to read. He didn't have any expression on his face. "Where's home?" she asked, looking down at her son; he had desperate eyes she also knew that look Emma had, had it lots of times when Emma didn't want to get sent to some another home who only wanted her for the paycheck she brought in every month. Henry sighed in relief. He could see her softening to the idea of taking him back to where he belonged, so he answered her question. "Storybrooke, Maine."

"Storybrooke? Seriously?" She asked incredulously. She wondered what kind of weirdos lived in a place called Story brook; it was ridiculous. She looked at her twin with incredulous ness written all over her face asking what he thought.

"It's not the worst name for a for a town that I've heard of," said Alexander. "In fact, the couple who adopted me lived in a place called Godric's Hollow before they were murdered. I was then sent to Surry, England, to the only living relative that could claim me." they both looked at him with shocked eyes. It was shocking to hear two people had been murdered, have it be spoken about in such a nonchalant way like it didn't matter anymore. But that's what orphaned kids turned into; they were people who were used to getting let down or not caring about other people enough to let them in because it hurt too much when they eventually left you, or you left them.

The only thing that Henry could say to his uncle's statement was, "uhhhhh, okay." then he turned back to his mother and gave her the puppy eyes. Emma turned to her brother and silently asked what he thought about this with an arched eyebrow. Alexander was used to this kind of communication since Alexander had learned to read people as part of the Auror Program. He'd also learned from his years at the Dursleys how to read people's moods and facial expressions, so Alexander sent his own roll of the Eye's and a duh face back to her. Of course, they were going to take Henry back then they'd decide what to do. Once he gave her own eye-roll in petulance, she sighed and said. "Alrighty, then. Let's get you back to Storybrooke."

Fairy Tale Land – The Past

Snow White and Prince charming were in their Castile; Snow-white was standing near her balcony door. A bluebird flew off her finger when she lifted her hand for it to take flight. Snow was visibly pregnant even though Snow was only in her 5th month. She looked about in her 9th month of pregnancy, having no idea that she was carrying twins. She was disturbed by her thoughts when Charming came in from the training arena. He walked to her and wrapped his arms around her. He placed one of his hands upon her swelled stomach. He had such pride that their child was growing inside of her. He couldn't wait to know if it was a boy or a girl. He noticed the look on his wife's worried face. He kissed the side of her head and asked. "What's wrong?"

Snow White sighed; She knew he worried for her. This pregnancy had not been easy on her. She tired more often than what Johanna had said her mother went through with her. She didn't want him to worry for her or the child she was carrying since she knew he would if he knew that she was agonizing over the evil queen's words from their wedding "Nothing."

Charming sighed. She had the tendency to hold her worries in to not burden him with them, but he knew her all too well, so he spoke of his guess about her fears. "You're thinking about what the Queen said again, aren't you? Snow, please. I can't keep having this conversation. You have to let it go. We're about to have a baby."

Snow White sighed. Of course, he would pick up on her mood. He was so in tune with her sometimes it was lovely but also irritating when she wanted to worry all by herself. She was a self-sufficient woman who'd spent the better part of her young life caring for herself and being self-reliant, running from the evil queen as she had done. Still, she has married now a melding of two lives. Charming had always been such a caring person taking care of his mother and living with king George in his twin's place when James was killed to protect his mother and their farm. She loved him for his self-sacrifice, so she made an effort to change herself and open up to him and give him some of the burdens. "I haven't had a restful night since our wedding."

"That's what she wants," He told her as he brought her closer into his arms again. "to get in your head. But they're only words. She can't hurt us."

Snow White snuggled into his embrace. It was warm, and he was so comforting it wrapped around her like a cloak of love, and she wholly accepted it. "She poisoned an apple because she thought I was prettier than her. You have no idea of what she's capable of." Snow didn't even want to contemplate what Regina would do to her child.

"What can I do to ease your mind?" Charming asked as he rubbed her arms up and down to try and calm her nerves. Snow White took a breath to shore herself up. She was pretty sure she knew the reaction that was about to come, but she said it anyway. "Let me talk to him." She knew more than likely that he would say no and do everything in his power to talk her out of it, but she was determined as she placed her hand on the child that was kicking her.

"Him? You don't mean..." before he could finish his sentence, she interrupted. "I do." Charming stepped back from her in askance that she was actually asking to see that imp. "No, no, no. It's too dangerous." why was she asking him to take her down to the Dungeon to see that slimy snake? Making a deal with him would bring more consequences than what was necessary or needed. Right now, they didn't need any more trouble.

Snow White grabbed charming's hand and tugged him into stillness. He turned and looked at her; she was desperate; he could see that. She was worried, and she had good cause even with his words earlier though they were true that the queen wanted snow worked up with worry, he didn't want to put his children and his wife in unnecessary danger, but she pleaded with him, and he couldn't deny her. "He sees the future."

"There's a reason he's locked up snow," Charming said. He was cracking to her whims; he could feel it, and she could probably see his determination waning. He couldn't deny her if it eased her mind.

"Can you promise me that our child will be safe? Can you guarantee it? Because he can." Snow stated; Prince Charming placed his hand on her swollen belly again just in time to feel his child Kick. It brought a smile to his face. His imagination was running wild with the thoughts that he could have a son. "Alright. For our child."

Boston

Emma, Alexander, and Henry were driving in her yellow BMW bug that's she's had since she was 18 years old. Henry was in the Back seat while Alexander was in the passenger side seat; they had talked a bit about Alex's life where he was raised and who had raised him. He'd gotten over his hard childhood to the point that it didn't really embarrass him much to tell them the crappy things he went through. Alexander never mentioned magic or Hogwarts or anything but did mention the abuse Alexander suffered at the hands of the Dursleys Alexander told them that's why He went into law enforcement to help others in that kind of situation. Emma kept her past bottled up though she didn't have precisely a history like Alexander's hers wasn't sunshine and daisies either; but, she wasn't as comfortable sharing as he was. Alexander was blunt about things but cunning enough to not tell the more delicate details or what she thought were the worst parts of the story, maybe not in embarrassment but propriety because of Henry. He didn't need to know how awful people really were. they'd been traveling in silence for a bit when Henry broke that silence. "I'm hungry. Can we stop somewhere?"

"This is not a road trip. Were not stopping for snacks." Emma said as she looked at the kid in her Rearview mirror. She was no more impressed with him than she was when he first walked into her apartment, disrupting her life.

"Why not?" Henry whined. Alexander smirked to himself as he looked at Emma Flair, her nose in annoyance at her son. He couldn't help chuckle at her predicament. "Stop laughing, Alexander Leopold Charming your encouraging his bad behavior, and You, Quit complaining, kid. Remember – I could have put your butt on a bus. I still could."

Alexander looked over to Emma, and she could see the humor shining through his eyes; he placed his pointer finger onto his thumb and zippered it over his mouth, indicating he would keep his mouth shut that made Emma snort in amusement.

"You know I have a name? It's Henry." henry said annoyed, Alexander pulled out a sugar quill from his bottomless satchel and handed it back to Henry, who took it with a smile in his uncle's direction. He opened the book Alex saw him holding earlier.

"What's that?" Emma asked, looking at it in the rearview mirror. "I'm not sure you two are ready," Henry said. He then took the wrapping off of the sugar quill and popped it into his mouth. Emma looked at the boy through the Rearview mirror again with disbelief marring her face.

"Why are we not ready for some fairy tales?" Emma asked incredulously. Henry huffed. He didn't know why adults didn't believe in magical things or what they thought were imaginary.

"They're not fairy tales. They're true. Every story in this book actually happened." Alexander was struck stiff. He had remembered that Dumbledore said in his original letter that he was from a different realm. Alexander had been brought to the wizarding domain as their savior. Could it be that Alexander was initially from the realm of Fairy tales? Well, that would be a bit mad for anyone expected to hear it was reason enough why Emma was having a hard time believing Henry. Alexander had experience with weird things that happened when he was younger. When Hagrid said, you're a wizard, Harry, it wasn't that hard to make the leap; Emma didn't have any experience with magic or things that were unbelievable to most people. And it didn't help that her upbringing didn't encourage imagination or belief in magical things. And with that thought in mind, Emma scoffed out.

"Of course they did." Henry jutted out his chin in defiance and stated in an I know better than you tone, making Alexander cringe. This wouldn't end well.

"Use your superpower. See if I'm lying." Emma sighed. It wouldn't do to have Henry upset and cause a scene. And she didn't really want to have a full-blown family domestic in her yellow bug; they'd just reunited mother and son, brother and sister. This was to days of our lives for her.

"Just because you believe something doesn't make it true." Emma said. Henry was getting annoyed with her questioning him. Just because he was 10 didn't mean he didn't know stuff. "That's exactly what makes it true. You two should know more than anyone."

Alex turned his body so he could look in the back seat at henry. He saw the picture of twin baby's in what looked like a man and woman's arms, one with apparent black fluff who was being held by the man the other with blond fuzz that was being held by the woman, that must be him, and Emma Alexander thought. Henry looked down and saw the names embroidered on the Blanket in a stylized cursive Alexander, and Emma's thoughts were interrupted by Emma asking a question.

"Whys that?" Alexander questioned. Henry looked up into his uncle's eyes in amazement. Every other time he'd read this book, it was just about Emma, but now his uncle was in it too. Just like magic, the story had been put together. It was now whole. things were changing, so in an awed-toned voice, he looked right at his uncle, and he could see that they had a mutual belief henry answered Emma's question while still staring at his uncle Alexander. "Because you're in this book, you both are." Alexander held his finger up to his lips and, with his eyes, told Henry to stay quiet about Alexander believing him that he would explain everything later, and Henry nodded to the silent communication. At least someone believed in him, and that lifted his spirits.

"Oh, kid. You've got problems." Emma complained; Alex cleared his throat and gave Emma a disapproving look. She had the good sense to feel a bit ashamed, but she didn't apologize or anything. She just looked straight ahead and continued to drive. Henry gave her a nod and said outright, "Yep. And you're going to fix them."

Fairy Tale Land – The Past

Snow White and Prince Charming were led by the guard stationed there. Through the tunnel leading to the Imp, who was being held in the dungeon. The Guard paused just before the tunnel entrance. it was the entrance to where the prisoner was staying. "When we reach the cell, stay out of the light. And whatever you do, do not let him know your name. If he knows your name, he will have power over you. Rumpelstiltskin. Rumpelstiltskin! I have a question for you."

In the dark came a high-pitched menacing voice. "No, you don't. They do. Snow White and Prince Charming, You insult me. Step into the light and take off those ridiculous robes."

Snow White and Prince Charming uncloaked themselves; they stood back just as the guard and told them. "That's much better," Rumpelstiltskin said in mad approval. He was so happy that they came. He had been expecting them for months and months. Prince charming took a breath and broke the silence. "We've come to ask you about the"

Rumpelstiltskin waved his question away like it was an annoying fly buzzing around his head. "Yes! Yes! I know why you're here! You want to know about the Queen's threat." How could he not know? He giggled madly with glee. He had set the whole thing up. Of course, his part was shrouded in deals, lies, and deceit, but that didn't matter now. He was so close to getting all he wanted.

Brazenly Snow White walked closer to the cell and demanded, "Tell us what you know." Though she would never admit it where this snake could hear, she was nervous, and she covered it up with reckless bravery.

Rumpelstiltskin giggled dementedly; oh, she thought she could demand answers he was not already willing to give? The precious thing, she felt herself a worthy foe. It made him insanely gleeful to see their frustration. Then he looked thoughtfully into Snow's eyes. "Ooh, tense, aren't we? Fear not! For I can ease your mind. But It's going to cost you something in return."

Prince Charming stepped forward and in front of snow as if he could protect her from the caged beast. "No! He's just wasting our time." Snow White walked out from behind her husband.

She looked to the side and saw that he huffed in annoyance that she was being reckless with not only her safety but the safety of her unborn child. but she had to get answers no matter the cost. "What do you want?" She asked resignedly. Rumpelstiltskin jumped around in the cage and laughed in glee at the way he had the charming's squirming like a worm on a hook, "Oh, The names of your unborn children?"

Prince Charming was shocked. Why would Rumpelstiltskin say they had more than one child that would be born? It would make him happier than he'd ever been if it were true, but doc, the Dwarf had only determined one heartbeat. "Children? there is only one child. Doc has made sure of that, and if we do have more than one, we are Absolutely not! giving you their names."

Snow White was not paying attention to her husband's words. She only had eyes and ears for Rumpelstiltskin; she had to know what he did. "Deal! What do you know?"

Rumpelstiltskin smirked at the pout that Charming had displayed on his face. Snow, she was so determined to find out that she was disregarding his attempts to protect her, and Rumple found it beyond amusing. "The Queen has created a powerful curse. And it's coming. Soon, you'll all be in a metaphorical prison. Just like me, only worse. Your prison, all of our prisons, will be time. Time will stop, and we will be trapped. Someplace horrible, where everything we hold dear, everything we love, will be ripped from us while we suffer for all eternity. While the Queen celebrates, victorious at last. No more happy endings."

Snow White brought her hand up to cover her mouth. She felt faint at what the queen was going to do; she would lose charming her friends, her Babies. She was even more desperate now to know what they could do. "What can we do?"

Rumpelstiltskin said in a mockingly worried voice, "We can't do anything." Snow White stepped closer just enough to be within reaching distance. "Who can?"

Rumpelstiltskin reached out and just barely touched the belly of the princess. "One of those little things, growing inside your belly."

The prince slashed his hand away with a sword; Rumple quickly pulled his hand out of the way so as to not get cut. Prince Charming glared at the Imp and said, "Next time, I cut it off."

"Tsk, tsk. The girl infant is our only hope. Get the child to safety. Get the child to safety, and on its twenty-eighth birthday, the child and its twin will return. The child will find you, and the twin will help, and then the final battle will begin."

Snow-white cradled her belly in fear; she shakily asked. "you said there were two of them. What will happen to the other?" Rumple scoffed and sneered at the princess, then said in a voice of disdain.

"I gave you the answer pertaining to our deal. Anything more would be a freebie, and I don't do freebies." He stepped back into the shadow of his cell. The boy child might not be the savior of this realm, but he would be a savior of another, and his trials would be far more dangerous than the girls. She would need him to help her understand walk the road to becoming a hero. Yes, he would be powerful what she would accomplish with the master of death at her side. Oooh, it was delicious to think about, indeed.

Prince Charming glared at Rumpelstiltskin. He hated the creature; he just put more undo fear on his wife, "We heard enough. We're leaving." Snow White and Prince Charming turned and headed for the dungeon's exit. But before they moved off too far, Rumpelstiltskin started jumping around and yelling.

"Hey! No! We made a deal! I want their names! We had a deal! I need their names! I want their names!" Prince Charming spun around and spat out, "there is only one and, It's a boy."

Rumpelstiltskin ignored the ire of the prince and stared solely at Snow White, "Missy, Missy, You know I'm right there are two of them, a boy and a girl. Tell me, what's their names?" Snow White took a breath, and with a bit less trepidation, she answered his question. "Alexander and Emma. their names are Alexander and Emma."

Rumpelstiltskin Smiled and looked into the distance as if he could see them. He smiled an impish smile and said, "Alexander and Emma."

Storybrooke

Alexander, Emma, and Henry finally arrived in Storybrooke. They began driving through the small town; it took them a good fifteen minutes to get from the welcome to storybook sign to the town's main street; it was like this in the eastern part of the united states, so much had been adopted by the Yanks during the revolution. Alexander could feel the Lack of life and Magic here; back in the city, there was some, but not a lot, now he understood what it meant that his parents had been sent to a land without magic. It was like the town was stuck in George's new invention, semi-permanent sticky putty. Or in a time bubble like in the Ministry of Magic, in the time room. The only way you could release yourself or whatever object was stuck in it was the antidote potion. Emma wasn't paying attention to the town. She looked back in the Rearview mirror and asked Henry, "Okay, kid. How about an address?"

Henry replied, "Forty-four Not Telling You street." Alexander laughed out loud at the kid's audacity when he turned his head to look at him. He just saw the merriment in his eyes mingled with blatant rebellion. Oh yes, henry was definitely Gryffindor material. Emma stopped the car in the middle of the road. She got out and started to pace on the sidewalk. This kid was driving her nuts, and Alexander was just laughing it up; she was definitely the older, more mature twin, she was sure of it. Alexander got out and released the seat so Henry could get out; since Henry was back, Alexander commented in a low voice to the boy.

"Merlin's, saggy bloomers mate. That was neither cunning nor tactful, Henry; you're only pissing her off." Henry considered his words, but Emma turned and looked at Henry in the eyes and sighed out in an exhausted tone before anything more could be said.

"Look, it's been a long night, and it's almost 8:15? we've all had shocks that we weren't ready for, so can we not do this now?" Henry just couldn't help himself. He just kept digging himself further and further into a hole.

"That clock hasn't moved my whole life. Times is frozen here." Alexander pinched his nose like he'd seen his potions professor do many times before. He now understood why Gryffindor's were monsters. Why do I even bother offering advice if you're so determined to ignore it? Alexander mumbled out loud enough for Henry to hear.

He gave his uncle a sheepish look and shrugged his shoulders like saying "what I'm 10, it's what I do." He was so determined that Emma would come here see the wrongness of the place, believe in him, and break the curse that he didn't consider the fact that she wouldn't want anything to change as well. Emma didn't hear the by play but focused on what Henry had said

"Excuse me?" Emma questioned. Henry gave his uncle one last sheepish look, saying that he got what he was saying, but Henry would do this his way; Alexander rolled his eyes and tossed out his hand towards Emma telling Henry to go ahead and try it see how far he got.

"The Evil Queen did it with her curse. She sent everyone from the Enchanted Forest here." Emma chuckled at his statement. She couldn't believe how delusional her son was. Emma looked at Alexander, but the look that Emma expected to see on his face was missing. He looked sad, and the older twin couldn't figure out why, but it made her uncomfortable, and she didn't like it to get things going the way they should. She tried to appease the kid. "Okay, the Evil Queen sent a bunch of fairy tale characters here."

Henry looked down. He didn't like that his mother was laughing at him. It made him feel awful. Maybe his uncle had been right; he needed to do this with more cunning and tact. Henry brought his eyes back up and looked. His eyes were subdued because of his mother laughing at him, "Yeah, and now they're trapped."

Emma scoffed again. She looked over at Alexander with comprehensive, disbelieving eye's but what she got back was a glare and ardent disapproval of her behavior. Emma knew she wasn't an excellent example of a mother, but she never intended to be a mom for all intents and purposes. Still, she guessed she could be kinder to the boy, so she softened her voice and asked in a more thoughtful tone but a hint of disbelief in her voice.

"Frozen in time, stuck in Storybrooke, Maine. That's what you're going with?" Henry looked up at his mom and uncle with his big brown pleading puppy dog eyes.

"It's true! Emma, uncle Alexander, why can't you just believe me?" he was so upset that he could feel the tears piercing his eyes; Henry was determined not to let them fall. He felt so humiliated.

Alexander spoke then. He believed Henry was a wizard for Morgana's sake; it would be the height of hypocrisy to tell Henry he was as loony as everyone thought Luna Lovegood was. "Can the citizens not just leave Henry? Is that part of the curse too?" The way he asked it wasn't mocking.

He asked a question in a very Slytherin way; Emma thought that his thoughts fell in line with hers, but he was actually on Henry's side. Henry looked at his uncle, and a sparkle came back into his eyes. He knew his uncle believed him; he was just playing on the down low, and he finally realized that Alexander was trying to teach him how to be subtle about it. "They can't. If they try, bad things will happen." Henry was trying to give his uncle subtle indications that Alexander couldn't just find someone to send them over the town line, and that be a way to get their memories back. Alexander nodded then asked another question.

"How do you know have you ever seen anyone try?" Henry looked lost because He didn't know, but he just knew it in his gut that it would. Before Henry could answer, Someone, called out to Henry.

Alexander noticed it was a man with thinning red hair and glasses. He looked to have a nervous disposition about him. The man reminded him of Remus lupin. Hopefully, he wouldn't turn into a werewolf. He was a dog, what he thought was called a Dalmatian, he was suitably nervous the only experience Alexander had with dogs was Ripper, Marge's Bulldog, and Fang Hagrid's boarhound. There was Snuffles, but Sirius was only a dog when he was out in public, but dogs still made him wary. He wondered idly if the dog was a fairy tale character too. They both approached Emma, Henry, and Alexander.

"Henry! What are you doing here? Is everything alright?" Henry smiled up at his worried friend and said calmly, "I'm fine, Archie." Archie then looked at the two adults with Henry. He didn't know who they were; he didn't recognize them from town,

"Who are these folks?" Emma stepped up on the sidewalk and held her hand out for Archi to shake, "We're just trying to give him a ride home." Henry noticed that she didn't say her name or introduce herself or her uncle, so he decided to do it himself,

"She's my mom, her name is Emma, and this is my Uncle Alexander, this is Archie and his Dog Pongo." Archie nodded, but he still had a concerned look on his face. "Oh. I see." Alexander could tell that the man was looking out for the kid, and so to put him at ease, he pulled out his FBI badge and showed him so that he'd be a bit more comfortable telling someone in Law Enforcement information because they were secure in the knowledge that they upheld the law,

"I'm Agent Alexander Leopold Charming with MI6 I'm here on sabbatical from working with the FBI. Could you tell us where he lives? I'd like to see his mother and try and figure out why he ran away from home." Archie arched his eyebrows. He didn't know what to say, but he certainly didn't want to be on the FBI's wrong side, so he complied with the request.

"Yeah, sure. Just, ah, right up on Mifflin street. The Mayor's house it's the biggest one on the block." Emma spun around, startled. She looked at Henry and asked incredulously, "You're the Mayor's kid?"

Henry looked up sheepishly at Emma and Uncle Alexander. He could see that Alexander was exasperated with his antics but not really mad like Emma was; he then weakly answered.

"Uh, maybe." Archie could see the tension rising, and so in a delay tactic that was not very tactful at all and didn't help Henry any, he asked, "Hey, where were you today, Henry? Because you missed your session." Henry chewed on his lip nervously. He had to say something he just couldn't blurt out. Hey, I left home to go find my mother.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. I went on a field trip." Archie didn't believe a word that came out of his mouth since agent charming would talk to the mayor about why he had run away.

"Henry. What did I tell you about lying? Giving in to one's dark side never accomplishes anything." Alexander and Emma looked at each other like the guy said that the Kid had just committed some horrible crime. Alexander could count on both hands the times he wished he'd lied rather than telling the truth. Alexander didn't like that this guy manipulating his nephew. He sounded a bit too self-righteous like Dumbledore had sometimes. You had good reasons to lie. He couldn't go saying that all lying was terrible.

Emma thought that was just a bit much and then said, "Oookay. Well, we really should be getting him home." Emma said. Alexander held out his hand for Archie to shake Archie grabbed the proffered hand in gratitude and said, "Hopper, Dr. Archie Hopper."

Alexander nodded his head once in reply, "Again, Dr. Hopper, cheers for the guidance, mate. We'll be on our way." Archie let go of Agent Charming's hand then said before he began walking again, "Yeah, sure. Well, listen. Um. Have a good night and, uh, you be good, Henry."

Emma walked around her car and to the driver's seat while Alexander opened his and pulled the chair forward for Henry to get in the back seat. He just put the chair right again and climbed in and shut the door when Emma asked, "So that's your shrink."

Henry bristled in annoyance and said: "I'm not crazy." Alexander took over before Emma could dig herself into another hole.

"Emma Didn't say that, Henry. I think she means that he just doesn't seem cursed. Besides, after the childhood I had, I went to see a mind healer too. She helped me overcome what happened, helped me realize a lot of things weren't my fault that my relatives were just sick sadistic Bastards, and Maybe he's just trying to help you realize that you don't have it as bad as you think, but that's just my opinion." Henry felt better that at least Alexander didn't think he was crazy and that he'd gone to therapy too, so with a more subdued attitude, he said, "He's the one who needs help because he doesn't know."

Emma also toned down her snark. The kid didn't deserve it, and she knew she was a total brat. Why is it her Twin was way more mature than she was at times like this? It was kind of annoying.

"He what? doesn't know That he's a fairy tale character?" She asked. Henry nodded enthusiastically. If he could get Emma to see what was plainly in front of her, it would be all okay "None of them do. They don't remember who they are."

Alexander turned and looked at Henry and said, "Well, as far as Evil and devious plans go, that's a pretty good one. They don't know they're anything other than what they are, so they never question it and never fight to regain what they lost; it's most Devious indeed." Emma gave Alexander a look saying she couldn't believe he was going along with it, but he gave her a look that said, shut it, Emma, and play along. It will be a lot easier and a lot less stressful.

"Convenient." Emma mumbled so Henry couldn't hear, but then she said louder, "Alright, I'll play. Who's he supposed to be?" Henry and Alexander said at the same time, "Jiminy Cricket." Emma quirked her eyebrow at her son and brother, then replied, was her brother humoring her son? She hoped so because if he believed what the boy was saying she didn't know what she was going to do.

"Right, the lying thing. Thought your nose grew a little bit." Henry scoffed at the mere idea that his nose would grow and said indignantly, "I'm not Pinocchio!" Emma threw her hands up in the air in resignation and defeat. "Course you're not. Because that would be ridiculous."

Alex turned his sister and said cheerily, "Emma! His last name is Hopper, Emma Dr. Hopper! Jiminy cricket Hops." Both Henry and Alexander burst out into chuckles, and Emma can't help the smirk that appears on her face. She rolls her eye's in exasperation. "Oh man," she thinks to herself, when is this night going to be over.

Fairy Tale Land – Past

The inner circle of Snow and Charming's friends was gathered around a table at the castle. Prince Charming was leading the discussion. He was pacing around the back of the chairs of their friends and colleagues. They had to decide what to do about the queen fairly soon, Snow was due soon, and he had her and his child to think about. He finally made it to the back of Snow's chair and placed his hands on her shoulder, giving her a comforting squeeze. Then he stated adamantly, "I say we fight!"

Jiminy Cricket fluttered upfront of a small earpiece of a horn that would amplify his voice for all to hear. "Fighting is a bad idea. Giving in to one dark side never accomplishes anything." it was interesting how they all glossed over their own experiences of walking down the Darks side.

Everyone there had made bad decisions for what they perceived was a good reason. Prince Charming understood the good intentions that Jiminy was trying to caution, but there was a time for caution, and there was a time for bold action for the good of a nation. And his family. He didn't want to curtail his friend, but he needed to get the point across. "Then how many wars has a clear conscience won? We need to take the Queen out before she can inflict her curse."

Just then, Doc spoke up questioning, after Snow and charming went to see Rumpelstiltskin, they told him what he'd said about two babies he checked again. Like magic, he'd found the second heartbeat. He informed the prince and princess that, indeed, there were two babies. "Can we even trust Rumpelstiltskin, even if he was right about the twins but is he right about everything else?"

Prince Charming looked over at those who had fought beside him and snow to regain their kingdom, and he said in a reassuring voice. "I've sent my men into the forest. The animals are abuzz with the Queen's plan. This is going to happen unless we do something." Snow White skooched up in her chair to try and get in a more comfortable sitting situation, but her body just felt utterly uncomfortable, and she despaired. She feared for her people, for her friends, for prince charming, and her babies. "There's no point. The future is written."

Prince Charming knelt beside her and took her one of her hands in his. He placed his other on top of her stomach where her children moved around; It was a fantastic feeling to feel the life of his two children moving and preparing themselves to be born. He looked up into her green eyes. He knelt there for a minute seeing all her stress in her face, her body, and her eyes; he said with passion, "No. I refuse to believe that. Good cant just lose."

Snow White was just in a down mood; she wanted to pout and cry and rage, but she couldn't move. Her body was big and fat, and the queen was going to win, and all of that came out when she said, "Maybe it can."

Prince Charming kissed her hand and said lovingly and supportively to her weary and foul mood. He knew she really didn't believe it, but she was hormonal, and it was putting her in a bad state of mind, but he was nothing if ever hopeful "No. No, not as long as we have each other. If you believe him about the curse, then you must believe him about our children. She will be the savior, and her brother will help her along the way."

A noise was heard. The Guards entered; They were dragging behind them a piece of a tree. The Blue Fairy was also accompanying them. Prince Charming stood up from his wife's side and asked in surprise, "What the hell is this?"

Blue Fairy gave him an admonishing look for his crude language but answered his question anyway "Our only hope of saving your children." She said as she hovered above the middle of the table, facing Snow White and Prince charming.

Grumpy snorted out in disbelief "A tree? Our fate rests on a tree? let's get back to the fighting thing." the Blue Fairy Huffed out in annoyance that her solution wasn't being as well-received as she thought it should be, but she went on to explain "The tree is enchanted. If fashioned into a vessel, it can ward off any curse. Geppetto, can you build such a thing?"

Geppetto stood with his hat in his hand and meekly proclaimed with humble pride, "Me and my boy, we can do it." The Blue Fairy smiled as she watched little Pinocchio play with his wooden toys ignoring everything that was going on around him since it was a grown-up thing and wasn't very fun. The Blue Fairy continued in her assuredness, "This will work. We all must have faith. There is, however, a catch. The enchantment is, indeed, powerful, but all power has its limits. And this tree can protect only one."

Storybrooke

Alexander, Emma, and Henry arrived at a large white house. Alexander and Emma got out. Henry hesitated a bit. He did not want to back to the home he had escaped from; he'd just found his mom and his uncle. They were going to break the curse and be a real family. Alexander looked behind him and noticed that Henry was just standing by Emma's car. He took him by the jacket and pulled him to his side, and said lowly. "Don't worry, mate, things will all work out. I know it."

With that, they started to head through the gate and up the walkway. Henry turned and raised his pleading eyes to his mother and raised his hands in a prayerful gesture, and begged, "Please don't take me back there." Alexander gave him an understanding look. "Legally, she has to mate; it would be against the law for her to interfere in your adoption. I'm sure your parents? are worried sick about you, though."

Henry turned to his uncle and gave him a betrayed look. "I don't have parents. Just a mom, and she's evil." Emma stepped in. She appreciated Alexander trying to mediate the two of them, but Henry wasn't in the mood to appreciate his actions.

"Evil? That's a bit extreme, isn't it?" Henry sounded like he wanted to stomp his foot and demand that they listen, but he didn't. He had just a bit too much pride in himself to display that "She is. She doesn't love me. She only pretends to."

Emma felt terrible for the boy both she and her brother knew what it was like not to be loved by their guardians, so she could sympathize with his thoughts. "Kid, I'm sure that's not true." They were interrupted by a woman wearing a black suit jacket and a pencil skirt came running out of the house and rushed towards Henry, Emma, and Alexander.

The woman yelled out in worry and relief at seeing him home again. "Henry! Henry, Are you okay? Where have you been? What happened?" Henry lurched out of her grip and began yelling at her as tears started to fall down his cheeks. His frustration had finally hit boiling point. It was a good thing the boy didn't have wizard magic, or else his mom would end up being inflated and floating away into the sky right now. "I found my real mom and my Uncle."

Henry then ran into the house, and away from the mother he was angry at and the mother who didn't believe him. Regina stood up from her bent-over position. She straightened her suit jacket and then eyed Emma and Alexander. "Y-you're Henry's birth mother?" she was immediately suspicious of these two newcomers. How had they got in? The town was supposed to be hidden from the outside world.

Emma nodded shyly and replied, "Hi" she then gestured to Alexander and introduced him, "This is my Twin brother Alexander." Alexander looked from Regenia to Graham. He scanned him up and down; he was pretty attractive in a burley country sheriff sort of way; Graham must have caught the look because he blushed just a bit, cleared his throat, and made his excuses.

"I'll just go check on the lad. Make sure he's alright." Regina nodded. His suggestion was a good one; she needed to get him away from this Alexander fellow. Regina had seen the way he looked at Graham, and the only reason he was with her was that Regina still had his heart in her vault. She was now in full mayor mode. Regina didn't like the two of these people.

They were an unknown element in her town, and there was something about them she couldn't put her finger on it, but she didn't like it. "How would you two like a glass of the best apple cider you've ever tasted?" Emma sighed and said, "Got anything stronger?" Regenia nodded, then turned to Alexander and quirked her eyebrow in question to her query about the apple cider; that's when she noticed that he pulled out a flask from his hip satchel and showed it to her. He said. "I don't take offered drinks from people. I know it's a good way to get drugged..." He let that sit for a bit, then quickly replied. "Not that I think you would drug me. It's just constant vigilance; it's a lifetime habit for an MI-6 Special agent who's on loan to the FBI." He gave a smile that didn't quite meet his eyes that suggested that he might suspect some nefarious going's on here and that he wanted her to know in a roundabout way what she was dealing with and that put her more on edge.

Alexander, Emma, and Regina moved into the house. Regina came back in with two glasses. She poured out the cider into two glasses; she handed one to Emma while eyeing Alexander take as he took a sip from his flask. He then put it back in his satchel. Emma put her glass down. She had an uncomfortable feeling around this woman, and she heeded her brother's roundabout advice.

Once the glass was placed back on the table, she asked, "How did he find me?" Emma asked to break the ice. Regina replied back testily. She was not in the mood to play nice with this woman. No idea. When I adopted him, he was only three weeks old. The Records were sealed. I was told the birth mother didn't want to have any contact. she said, giving Emma a pointed look. Alexander and Emma saw his sister ignored the eye and replied,

"You were told right," Emma said. Regina sipped her apple sider and then asked, "And the father?" Emma flipped her hair over her shoulder and looked around the dark burgundy office. She replied uncaringly, "There was one." She was not going to talk about Neal or anything about their life when they were together.

Regina bristled at the woman, keeping the father's details from her. It was like pulling teeth to get answers from the woman. "Do I need to be worried about him?" Regina wanted to know if she would have to worry about more people crossing the town line. Emma shook her head and said in a familiar angry voice, "Nope. He doesn't even know."

Alexander looked at her and raised his eyebrows in question. He was a bit surprised that his sister hadn't told the guy she slept with that she had gotten pregnant, he knew there was a story there, but it was hers she didn't have to share. She waved her hand at him. It would be something that she would tell him later; he nodded in assent and went back to scoping the place out. It was immense; it reminded him of Malfoy Manner. The house was big, spacious, and very opulent.

Regina smacked her empty cup down on the table, startling the pair. They whirled around and looked at her wide-eyed at her rudeness. "Do I need to be worried about you, Miss Swan, Mr. Swan?" Emma and Alexander bristled a bit at the tone; they both could feel the lies leaching off the woman, but they kept silent for now, then Emma replied. "His last name is Charming actually. And Absolutely not."

Alexander had just about enough of the temper that the mayor was sending off, so he said, "I'll be contacting the local judge for a court order to go through the adoption records. We met a Dr. Archie hopper which in a roundabout way, informed us that Henry was a patient of his. I will have that court order applied for his medical files to determine why Henry ran away. I will also call in a social worker. Apparently, there is something wrong enough for Henry to want to run away, whether It's the angst of a young adopted boy trying to find his roots or whether your job as mayor is taking too much attention from him. He feels unloved. It's clear he needs help, and since he crossed state lines, it's become an FBI matter and not a Local one." He retorted he mostly said it as a scare tactic, but Alexander also meant what he was saying. Alexander didn't think that she was any kind of person that would be a good parent, so he'd collect evidence, he'd put her on notice, now he just needed to see how she responded.

Regina was simply stunned at the pronouncement that this MI6 FBI guy Alexander would make a case and see if she is a fit parent. It was ludicrous and ridiculous, and it was making her fume. "Of course, anything you need, just get in contact with me," She said.

Alexander nodded and gave her a falsely kind smile, but there was nothing but a determination to have the truth out in the open. Regina nodded to Sheriff Graham, who was Coming downstairs; Graham reciprocated the gesture then gave his update about Henry to the room. "Madam Mayor, you can relax. Other than being a tired little boy, Henry's fine."

Regina opened the front door and said, "Thank you, Sheriff." Sheriff Graham left, closing the front door behind him; Alexander's eyes followed the man out.

Alexander was pretty impressed with what he saw as the sheriff walked out of the mayor's house; that was what the books had wrong about him; when Alexander was, Harry Potter never married Ginny Weasley. Nor did Alexander have kids. He was Bisexual and was an orphan with abuse issues which did not make him good relationship material, but he was completely fine having one-nighters. Emma, Alexander, and Regina headed to her office.

Regina folded her hands in front of her in a contrite manner and said. "I'm sorry he dragged you out of your life. for Alexander's benefit. I really don't know what's gotten into him." Emma shrugged, "Kids that were given up for adoption or abandoned can have a rough time. It happens." and Alexander added to that, "But never without a good reason do kids cross state lines." He gave the mayor a pointed look like he wasn't falling for her bull. Regina scowled briefly at him but then covered up her dislike for Alexander.

Mayor Mills did not like the Agent charming at all; not only was he looking into how she raised her son, He had the last name charming, and that just didn't sit well with her. It wasn't a coincidence that his last name was the same as Prince Charming. She would "You have to understand. Ever since I became mayor, balancing things has been tricky. You have a job, I assume?" Emma nodded. She wasn't going to say that being a single working mother was easy but she'd like to think that she would have a job that wouldn't keep her away from her kid. "Uh, I keep busy, yeah." Regina nodded.

Regina didn't care what Emma did for a living. She just wanted to make her point and dig in that at least she'd been there for the last 10 years while Emma had not. "Imagine having another one on top of it. That's being a single mom. So I push for order. Am I strict? I suppose. But I do it for his own good. I want Henry to excel in life. I don't think that makes me evil, do you?"

Alexander shrugged. He had seen evil in his day; she may not be a Voldemort, but she could easily be a Bellatrix Lestrange, so he was unprepared to assure her that he didn't think she was evil. Alexander thought this woman was just like Vernon Dursley. Everything was more important than the orphaned nephew you were raising. So he just said. "Balance is good. You've obviously noticed that Henry is struggling, and you got him into therapy so he can talk to someone he feels comfortable with, but sacrifices need to be made when there is a child involved. Henry needs to know that he's the number one priority. In your life, you're the Mayor, Delegate some of your responsibilities."

Emma and Alexander could see the visible hatred that Alexander was eliciting in the Mayor, so Emma decided to step in and cool things down. "I'm sure he's just saying that your evil because of the fairy tale thing." Regina frowned. She didn't know what the heck these two were talking about; apparently, she needed to pay attention more to Henry, or at least Regina thought she did. "What fairy tale thing?"

Emma smirked to herself at the ludicrousness of the idea that everyone was a fairy tale character. "Oh, you know. His book. How he thinks everyone's a cartoon character from it. Like his shrink is Jiminy Cricket." Thoughtful tone Emma said it in.

Regina was shocked to know that Henry had figured her scheme out. She didn't know what she was going to do. Still, she would snuff it out immediately. "I'm sorry. I really have no idea what you're talking about." Ah, there it was his in the piece of the puzzle he could start making his case upon.

Alexander turned and told her straight out, "That might be a cause of concern for Henry's custody case; actually, the fact that Henry believes he is living in a fantasy world, and you aren't aware of his inability to cope with reality."

Regina bristled again. She was going to lose her temper soon if they didn't leave. Emma again could see the tension rise to code red, so she stepped in again, suspending any further arguments "You know what? It's none of my business. He's your kid. And we really should be heading back." Regina opened the front door for them. Alexander subtly cast a locating charm on the Mayor.

Alexander wanted to be aware of her location at all times. Alexander had also done it to Henry on the way over to his home. Regina gave off no indication that she knew what he'd done and showed them out. Maybe that was a difference between his wizarding magic and the magic from the enchanted forest, or perhaps it was the fact that He was born with magic; that was what made the difference. "Of course," Regina said; she hoped it would be the last time that she would see the two of them, but what Agent charming had said didn't make it seem likely.

As Emma and Alexander walked down the walkway to Emma's car, they stopped just before getting in because both of them experienced a prickling on the back of both of their necks. Emma and Alexander both looked up to the second-story window. They could see Henry. He looked so lost and abandoned it hurt both of them immensely because they both had had experiences where family or loved ones had let them down and left them. He closed the curtain and turns off the light.

It pained them to see him up to set, but legally they couldn't do anything. Emma dropped Alexander off at a Diner called granny's that advertised rooms for rent like he had asked. Alexander said he was staying in town. "I'm going to be looking into Henry's custody case. I don't believe that Regina being the Mayor is the root of Henry's issues." He said, and Emma could see what he was saying. "You and I both know it's easier to run away from reality than to deal with things as they really are. Especially if you're an orphan, abused, or abandoned." Alexander pointedly. He had dealt with his issues by thinking about his own survival. Yes, his actions usually had the side effect of saving everyone else. Emma had dealt with her problems by shielding herself from others, and Henry probably had the most healthy of all, throwing himself into a fantasy world, granted that fantasy world was real, but he had no proof besides a magic book. Alexander told her that he'd meet up with her again in a couple of weeks to process everything on her own, but also so they could make a go at reconnecting with their own relationship.

Alexander knew she would need time to do that. Emma was appreciative of her brother's suggestion. She gratefully agreed and began her drive back to Boston. Alexander turned ran behind the Inn and transformed into his Animagus form of a white and grey wolf; then, he ran off towards the town's entrance. He made it just as he saw Emma's Bug approach the Town line, Alexander had told her to go home, but he wasn't actually going to let her leave since she was the savior. She would need to be in the town and in the thick of things.

Emma was driving along the road out of Storybrooke when She looked over and sees Henry's book on her seat. Emma snorted in amusement and annoyance. "Sneaky bastard." When she looked back to the road, She saw a wolf in front of her car. Unknowingly that it was her twin brother. She swerved to avoid it, but Emma ended up hitting the Storybrooke entrance sign and Passing out. Alexander transformed back then walked over to make sure she was alright, then he Called the Sherriff's office pretending to be someone else and reporting a Car accident near the town line. He Apparated back behind the Inn. He walked to the front and checked in.

Fairy Tale Land – Past

Geppetto and Pinocchio were in a workroom busy carving the magical wardrobe out of the enchanted tree. They had been working on it for the last three and a half months. Geppetto, the toymaker and his son, were carving the structure that would save the savior, and her brother Snow White was In another part of the castle, standing on a balcony. She looked out forlornly on her kingdom as she stroked her now 8 and a half month belly. Snow Had been on bedrest since her 6th month, trying to give the twins as much time in her stomach as possible, so they were as healthy and robust as they could be, but Princess Snow was antsy today, and she needed out of that blasted bed, "I don't want to do this."

Prince Charming Caressed her swollen belly and kissed her temple lovingly. "It has to be you." Snow White turned in his arms slowly but dementedly, "I'm not leaving you."

Charming looked at her. He would not be swayed in this; he would protect his wife and children. "It's the only way. You'll go in there, and you'll be safe from the curse." Snow White wailed out in heartbreak, "He said it would be on their twenty-eighth birthday." She didn't want to leave the man she loved for that long. She would grow old while they were separated; who knows what would happen to him during the curse? It was unimaginable for her to leave him, live twenty-eight years of a different life in a world he had no knowledge about.

Charming whipped her tears from her eyes and embraced her, "What's twenty-eight years when you have eternal love? I have faith. You'll save me as I did you." Charming said as he brought her into a kiss, but Snow White looked distraught and in pain when they broke apart. Charming held her as her body wanted to fall to the ground and asked her worriedly, "What is it?" He was worried that something was wrong; many things could go wrong with twins. He wished now more than ever that his mother was here and alive since she had given birth to twins.

Snow White panted out in pain and distress; she had a wild and worried look on her face "The Babies they're coming."

Grumpy was watching up on the battlements of the castle. He saw something in the distance. It was Purple, and it looked like storm clouds because of the Thunder and Lightning produced from it. He kicked Sleepy, who was sleeping next to him. "Get up! Get up! Look." Sleepy stands up and rubs his eyes, and looks out into the distance. He also saw A cloud of dark smoke in the distance. It was rapidly covering the land and quickly progressing toward the castle. Grumpy frantically rings a bell and Yells out, "The curse! It's here!"

Storybrooke

Emma woke up blearily eyed, she felt like she was waking up with a hangover, but that couldn't be possible. She hadn't been drinking. Emma looked around her and realized that she was in jail. Uh, great. She muttered. Emma looked to her right and saw that There was another prisoner there with her. He was Whistling in his cell.

"What are you lookin at, sister?" He growled out, scowling at her; she ignored him and stood up. Emma took another look around. Marco looked who looked to be the local Handyman he admonished the grumpy guy in the Drunk tank. "Hey, Leroy! Manners. We have a guest. So you are, uh, Henry's mother, yes? How lovely for him to have you back in his life."

Emma scratched her head and then said in a matter-of-fact tone, "Actually, my twin brother and I were just dropping him off." Leroy made a sound then said. "Tch, don't blame yah. They're all brats, who needs them." She rolled her eyes. This guy obviously hated his life. He was becoming a bit annoying.

Marco looked at him and her sadly. He and his wife never had children; he was too busy with his work, but it didn't mean he didn't want one. "Well, I'd give anything for one. My wife and I tried for many years. But, uh, it was not meant to be."

Leroy sneered at the old man and his sob story, "Well, cry me a river."

Sheriff Graham and Alexander entered the room. Graham walked over and unlocked Leroy's cell; while Alexander went over to Emma, he handed her a coffee and a breakfast sandwich through the jail bars. He smiled Sympathetically at her not only for his guilt that she was in jail because he didn't want her to leave the Town and Henry, and even a bit of him.

They were interrupted by Graham when he spoke to Leroy. "Leroy! If I'm going to let you out, you need to behave. Put on a smile and stay out of trouble." Leroy smiled sarcastically and left. Emma rolled her eyes while Alexander glared at the man's rudeness towards the Sheriff and his sister. Then Graham turned and gave her a deadpanned expression which set Emma on edge. "Seriously?" she asked.

Graham looked over at Alexander apologetically, he didn't want to do this to the woman, He'd called alexander last night to let him know that his twin sister was in jail, that he would have to wait till morning to see her. but it had been the mayor who'd suggested that she'd been drunk. "Reginas drinks are a little stronger than we thought."

Emma looked at Alexander, then back at Graham, then said in her earnest, business voice. "I didn't have any of her drinks, so that means I wasn't drunk. A wolf was standing in the middle of the road." Alexander crossed his arms over his chest and leaned up against the cars of the cell. He Eyed the sheriff. He didn't want to pull out his card yet that he'd magicked a camera in the bug while she had been distracted arguing with Henry.

Graham smirked at her and said, "A wolf. Right." Before he could present his evidence to the sheriff, Regina entered and called out for Sheriff Graham in a worried and frantic tone.

"Graham! Henrys run away again. We have to... What are they doing here? Do you know where he is?" Alexander and Emma glared at the audacity of the woman accusing them of taking the kid. "Honey, I haven't seen him since Alexander, and I dropped him at your house. And, I have a pretty good alibi." Alexander cleared his throat, gaining Reginas attention. "So you don't know where your son is? Sherriff, I would like to make an official missing persons report to record this matter. This is going into Henry's custody file as the second incidence of the boy running away. Do you have any idea where the boy would go this time since we are still in town?" Regina huffed in annoyance. She really hated this guy; she had to work within the law, and she wasn't used to that. Her word was law. She didn't have to do anything. She didn't want to accept Mr. Gold on the off chance he said please.

Emma sighed in annoyance. She didn't even know Henry that well, and here she and Alexander gave them ideas on how to find him again. "Did you try his friends?" Emma asked.

I stayed in town last night, so I could keep an eye on the boy and begin prepping my request for a court order from the Judge So I could get his files," Alexander said as a warning that she was not to get all snippy and high might with him or Emma. Emma was just a bit proud of her twin. People in this town seemed to heel to her demands but not him; he stood toe to toe with her. Regina, the Evil Queen, didn't scare him. Hed faced Voldemort, Dragons, Dementors, and Giant snakes and spiders. So Regina was nothing to him.

Regina had to be careful with Alexander. He could bring a lot of trouble for her. "He doesn't really have any friends. He's kind of a loner." Alexander quirked his eyes; he was an abused boy and was friendless until he went to Hogwarts because he was finally away from his relatives.

"Every kid has friends. Did you check his computer? If he's close to someone, he would be emailing them." Emma stated, not every kid was like her, who'd kept absolutely everyone away except for two people that were in her past. Then Alexander commented with a more logical

"Or going to their house because he doesn't feel like he can bring them home." He stated with absolute certainty. He would never bring his friends to the Dursleys' Alexander wouldn't expose his shame to them; it was terrible enough that Ron and the Twins knew that Alexander had been locked in his room with bars on his window, no he would never bring friends to that place.

"And you know this how?" Regina asked in derision; she hated what Emma and Alexander were intimating, that Henry was so scared of her that he didn't feel like he could bring any friends home. It was true though, she was punishing everyone in town with the curse, so they had a natural wariness toward her. "I was a Bail bonds person. Finding people is what I do, and Alexander Is MI6. It's what he does. Here's an idea. How about you guys let me out, and I'll help you find him." She offered. Alexander put in for the record. Not that you have anything to hold over her. "I placed a camera in her car, and it recorded the whole incident."

The three of them were in Henry's room. Emma was searching through Henry's computer. Alexander looked in places he had hidden things as a child-like inside Henry's closet, under his nephew's bed, he tried to see secret space that was covered by loose floorboards.

"He's a smart kid. He cleared his inbox. I'm smart too. A little hard disk recovery utility I like to use." She said, pulling out a USB drive and plugging it in the computer.

"I'm a bit more old-fashioned in my techniques. Pounding the pavement, knocking on doors, that sort of thing." Graham said as he eyed Alexander looking through Henry's notebooks. Henry seemed like the type of kid to write things down since he didn't have anyone to talk to. "It's the twentieth-century people leave more of a digital footprint more now than a physical one with Technology advancing as it is," Alexander stated, which was true. He didn't discount the physical evidence that could be found, but people moved into the digital age.

"You and Alexander are on salary. I get paid for delivery. Pounding the pavement is not a luxury that I get. Huh. His receipt for a website – . It's expensive. He has a credit card?" she stated nonchalantly. As she was typing away on the computer.

"He's ten," Regina said in a pointed tone; the Queen bitch was really starting to get on Alexander's nerves, Emma's too, but she was a bit more subtle about it as she searched through the records on the computer. Still, Alexander had found a map of sorts, like a treasure map that had an X on it, labeled Henrys Treasure. He folded it up and placed it in his pocket when everyone was looking at Emma. He turned when he heard Emma speak.

"Well, he used one. Let's pull up a transaction record. Mary Margaret Blanchard Whos Mary Margaret Blanchard?" she asked Regina over her shoulder, not looking at her; she just continued looking over the Digital record. Alexander drew close and placed his hand on her shoulder. He squeezed it, hoping she would know that he found something and that Alexander would share it when they were alone; Emma lifted her shoulder subtly like she was trying to work out a kink, hoping he would know that she got his message. Which he did.

"Henry's teacher," Regina replied in a tone full of loathing, and Malice, even in a cursed life, Snow White was screwing up her life. Regina vowed in silence that Snow White would pay for it, along with these two nosey nuisances.

"Well, I don't think we should waste any more time here. Emma, why don't you and Madame Mayor go talk to Miss Blanchard. In contrast, Sherriff Graham, why don't you Pound the pavement down by the beach, search by the water? Henry might have a place there that he goes to think, throw rocks, and be alone; things like that; while I will go and check other kid areas of the town, the library, Ice cream shop, toy stores, and such, well meet back in two hours if we haven't found him before then, so we can figure out another strategy." They all nodded and realized He and Emma probably knew best about tracking someone down, being that Emma was a bail bonds person and Alexander was a Special Agent. Regina and Graham had no alternative but to secede to their knowledge and experience.

While Emma and Mayor mills drove to Henry's school, Alexander did like he said he would and checked with the Ice cream shop first, so the town would know that Alexander was looking for Henry in case someone. The mayor asked about him around town. Once he was done with all the shops, He even stopped into Mr. Golds' shop, and briefly spoke with the man.

Alexander pulled out Henry's map and Cast a locator spell on it. A tiny pair of shoes appeared, walking around what seemed to be a castle. The shoes were Labeled Henry Daniel Mills; Alexander then walked into the restroom of Granny's Diner once he had the door locked, he cast a silencing charm around him then Apparated with a bang that no one heard and disappeared only to reappear next to Henry, who was Startled out of his wits

Mary Margaret Blanchard was in a classroom full of younger kids. She was the Art teacher, and today they were painting birdhouses that they had made in a previous class. Miss. Blanchard held a bluebird. This particular bird had been coming to her window for years. It seemed to have formed an attachment to her, so she used it as a lesson of being kind and loving to the people and things around them. "As we build our birdhouses, remember – what you're making is a home, not a cage. The bird is free and will do what it will. This is for them, not as—they're loyal creatures. If you love them and they love you, they will always find you."

Just then, she was interrupted by the bell. She turned and let the bird fly out the window and watched for a brief second while it landed on the birdhouse she had made many years ago. She then turned to the kids that were putting their supplies away. "Well, pick this up after recess. No running!"

The kids filed out of the classroom bumping into Regina. In annoyance and worry, she shoved herself through them. While Emma watched in slight disbelief that she was the person raising her son. She didn't say anything. Emma just kept a pace or two behind Mayor. Miss Blanchard was a little shocked to see the Mayor here. She never saw her unless it was parent-teacher night. Miss Blanchard was a bit curious about who the newcomer was as well; something stirred within her, something like Recognition. But she couldn't place where she would have ever seen the woman before. "Miss Mills. What are you doing here?" she questioned the Mayor uneasily, she could tell that Regina was upset about something, but for the life of her, Mary Margret couldn't figure out what she'd done to upset her so.

Regina ignored the question and went straight to the heart of the matter. She needed to get this settled so she could get to her vault and find a piece of Magic that would get rid of Emma and her Brother before he could go through with his threat and set a court date in which her custody of Henry was questioned. "Where is MY, son?" Emma Rolled her eyes at the Mayor's emphasis on MY son. This lady was really going all out to prove her claim over Henry.

"Henry? I assumed he was home sick with you." She exclaimed, worried that he'd lied to her to get out of school like him usually. He was a sincere and sweet boy; things must be worse than she had figured if he was now skipping school. Mary Margret hoped he was ok. She would feel terrible if anything happened to him.

Regina Sneered at the Former princess; she was disgusted, she wanted her son back, and Regina would claw snow whites eyes out if she didn't have him home soon. "Do you think I'd be here if he was? Did you give him your credit card so he can find her?"

Mary Margret was stymied; she looked at Emma, still having that feeling of faint recognition but unable to place why she had it. I'm sorry, who are you? Emma was now hit with a sense of profound confusion. She was Henry's mother, Yes. But she wasn't mother material; she had been abandoned by her mother. Emma couldn't claim any mothering experience of any kind, but there was also a faint glimmer of desire to make sure that He was alright. That he would have a good life. Emma decided that she would help Andrew with Henry's custody case. She would have done her duty as his birth mother in making sure she was going to be ok. "I'm his... I'm his..." Man, she couldn't even get the title out of her mouth.

"The woman who gave him up for adoption," Regina said scathingly, hoping to slice Emma's heart with an emotional sword. She inwardly smiled as she saw Emma wince. Regina was profoundly glad that Alexander wasn't here. He'd probably say that he was placing Mary Margaret's behavior and noting that Henry was skipping school as part of his psychiatric profile for his Case; things were not looking good for her if she didn't get rid of the two. You don't know anything about this, do you? Emma asked; she handed over the printout of Henry's online search for his birth mother.

"No, unfortunately not." She sighed. Mary Margaret walked over to her purse and pulled out her Wallet to look through it. She noticed that her credit card was missing. She sighed again and closed her eyes in resignation; Mayor Mills was so angry that she could potentially face charges with interfering with a minor's parenting. This was not good. "Clever boy, I should never have given him that book."

Regina was befuddled. She didn't know what would drive her to madness first, the mentioning of this book or that Snow White kept interfering with her life. She decided to deal with the most current problem first and asked, "What in the hell is this book I keep hearing about?"

Just some old stories I gave him. As you well know, Henry is a special boy. So bright, so creative, and, as you might be aware, lonely. He needed it. She said bravely and compassionately, she loved all of her students, and she wasn't above standing up to the mayor if one of them needed her to. It just wasn't in her to let one of her kids suffer that way.

What he needs is a dose of reality. She closed her eyes. Regina shouldn't have said that she had to be really careful, Alexander might be MI6, but he was collaborating with the FBI. Though they couldn't discern where the town was, she would not underestimate his level of power and influence with the legal system. Regina had to keep her calm, Emma could repeat what she said to him, and he could come back here and gather a formal statement. "This is a waste of time." Regina turned to leave, knocking over a stack of books. Just to give herself a bit of satisfaction that she had caused some destruction, but it would probably be seen as petty, but she could care less right now. Have a nice trip back to Boston, Miss Swan.

Emma smiled kindly at the woman standing in front of her. Emma was sure Miss Blanchard would rail on her. Tell her how despicable she thought Emma was for abandoning her child. The woman should be ashamed of herself for not trying to find Henry sooner. Emma folded her arms over her chest and moved her feet shoulder-width apart in a defensive manner as if saying she could take the body blows. "Sorry to bother you." Marry Margret stopped Emma from leaving by placing a hand on the woman's elbow. "No, it's okay. As you heard from the Mayor, this is partially my fault."

Emma scrunched up her eyebrows; she'd didn't think that she had done anything terrible, really. Miss Blanchard was just looking out for Henry in a way a teacher would. "How's the book supposed to help?" Mary Margret looked at the woman. She could see a bit of what she saw in Henry's eyes; Emma was lonely, felt utterly alone, and maybe a little undeserving of having her child look for her. Mary Margret could discern that She and Henry were a bit alike; they both hadn't had the best childhood maybe, but the difference between them was that Henry wanted to find something better, Mary Margret just had the feeling that Emma was just stuck and didn't know how to move forward.

"What do you think stories are for? The stories are classics. There is a reason we all know them and enjoyed reading them. They help us deal with our world. We live in a time that doesn't always make sense. See, Henry doesn't have the most leisurely life."

Emma sighed and rubbed her fingers into her Temple. She was feeling even more guilty, wanting to leave Henry and get back to her life in Boston, like it was the best thing and that he would somehow get over his need to know her as she had. Emma had tried to find her birth parents, but because she was abandoned on the side of the road at birth, there was no record, so it was ingrained within her that she would never know them or have a family. At least Till Henry and Alexander showed up yesterday. "Yeah, Mayor Mills is kind of a hard Ass." She stated in a conspiratorial way

Mary Margret shook her head. She, of course, agreed that Regina was a hard-ass, but her concern for Henry was more profound than that; "No, it's more than her. He's like any adopted child. He wrestles with that most basic question they all inevitably face – why would anyone give me away? I am so sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean in any way to judge you."

Emma looked away. It hurt because she, Alexander, and Henry were so alike in so many ways. They'd all been abandoned, she went to the foster care system, Alexander's adopted parents were murdered in front of him, and then he went to his abusive relatives. Henry was overlooked and felt unloved or couldn't be loved. They were a trio of lost and broken children, and they all dealt with it in different ways. It's okay. She said Awkwardly.

Mary Margret could see that she'd taken her words to heart, and it made her feel terrible that she was putting salt in an already open and gaping wound, but sometimes salt was used as healing medicine. It was used as an antiseptic and antibacterial, so she used the metaphoric salt to cleanse Emma's wounds. "Look, I gave the book to him because I wanted Henry to have the most important thing anyone can have. Hope. Believing in even the possibility of a happy ending is a mighty thing."

Alexander Leopold Charming was a Wizard. He had been the boy who lived, then the Boy who Conquered. But for now, as he was watching his Nephew Gape at him because he had magically appeared beside him, he was now just Henry's Uncle. "You might want to shut your gob there, mate, before a Pixi flies in there and down your throat." He said as he sat down next to the boy. Henry slapped his mouth shut instantly. He was so astonished that his uncle would so blatantly use magic in front of him, but on the other hand, it was wicked cool too. "How did you do that?" Henry asked, awed. He had seen people on the television pretending to do magic, but that was all fake CGI and misdirection. Still, his uncle had literally teleported right next to him from somewhere else.

"What kind of Magic was that?" Henry asked excitedly. He was hoping he could talk his uncle into showing him more. That would be Awesome. Alexander chuckled as he remembered the time he had been awed by the simplest of spells, not so anymore, but Emma's brother had more reverence for magic than wonder because of what he had seen magic used for, not only in the War. But also afterward as an Auror. "That was called Apparition, or Magical transportation if you will." Henry nodded his head Excitedly, "like Harry Potter?" Henry asked innocently. Alexander cringed. He hated the fact that his life was a book, that people could pick up a copy and read about almost every terrible thing that had happened to him in his life. Of course, it wasn't an accurate account; Fantasy and fairytales never gave you an honest account of the characters. The author just wanted to provide the readers with a romanticized version of it. "Yeah, Exactly like Harry Bloody Potter; in fact, Henry, if you'll keep it a secret, Ill even tell you something that No one else knows." Henry nodded slowly and crossed his heart, and Zippered his mouth shut just to get his point across. Alexander looked into his nephew's eyes to make sure that he was telling the truth. Once he was satisfied that henry was indeed being honest, He said. "My name used to be Harry James Potter, and I was taken to the realm of Wizardry By Merlin because I was prophesied to be the savior of the wizarding world."

Henry gapped at Alexander again, was his uncle playing a trick on him? He couldn't be because he'd appeared like magic right beside him. He used the word apparition, he remembered that word from the books, it been one of the books Henry had read to escape reality, wishing that he could be Harry, have a half-giant knock down his front door and say you're a Wizard Henry! it would have been his dream come true. "Was it all true, Uncle Alex? Everything in the book did it all happen."

Alexander took a breath and blew it out harshly. How do you explain that everything your nephew thought was incredible, unbelievable, and remarkable in a book of Fantasy and fiction didn't tell half of the horrible and terrible things that went on? That his life wasn't all about adventure and getting into mischief that being a savior and destined to save a world came with grave consequences that sometimes to be a hero you had to think yourself and your survival first. Sometimes you had to sacrifice yourself to end a terrible evil, and the natural consequences of that were that everyone else was saved. Being a hero was all about choosing the right way, choosing to do the hard things, making hard choices, and accepting and moving forward from the consequences. not everyone would agree with what you or thought you were right and good. "No, Henry, if every bad thing that happened to me were written in that book, no one would read it, no one would say that I was a good and light person. You have to understand that sometimes you have to make hard choices that not everyone will agree with; being a hero? Sometimes means doing the selfish thing to survive the natural consequence of you being alive is you can do the right thing later? But a lot of the book is accurate." Henry nodded in consideration.

Henry did have a romantic notion of the book miss Blanchard had given him; Princess Snow White and Prince charming were the epitome of goodness and Light. The Evil Queen was their complete and total opposite, in his opinion. He wondered if things were missing from his own book. Henry looked over at his uncle, seeing that he was texting Emma their location; she'd be here pretty soon, so he should get his question asked before she came and tried to take him back to His Mothers house. So, uncle Alex, what other tricks can you show me? Alexander chuckled at the boy's cheek and then cast the Avis charm, and Henry watched as a flock of birds appeared out of his uncle's hand. They watched them fly off into the sky, and the last thing he uttered was, "I love magic."

Fairy Tale Land – Past

Screaming could be heard throughout the halls of the Castle. The Alarms had been rung. The people knew that the curse was coming, and it all culminated with Snow White going into labor. While Families were gathering to try and stay with each other, the guards were readying themselves to keep the royals safe.

Snow White screamed again and exclaimed, "I can't have these babies now! It's too soon." She panted out; Charming had gotten her to their bed and tried to make her as comfortable as possible, but he was not a midwife. He only had experience helping his farm animals give birth. He didn't know what to do for his wife. He turned as Doc, the Dwarf who was searching his bag for his tools.

"Doc, do something. It's going to be okay, Snow. The wardrobe is almost finished; just hold on." He said as he wiped the sweat off of his wife's face. He could see her fear that something was wrong that they would lose one of the twins. He just kept telling her stories of what they would do with their twins when they were reunited, what he and Snow hoped they would be like.

The Evil Queen and her cohorts were seen traveling through the forest towards the castle. The Queen wanted to be in front of snow-white as she ripped her happy ending away from her. It would be her crowning achievement. Geppetto Quickly entered the room that Prince Charming and snow White were in. "It's ready." He heaved, trying to catch his breath. He had just sent Pinocchio promised before he was sent through the wardrobe to watch over the Savior and the boy and agreed tentatively. He was scared; of course, he would be he was seven. It was such an enormous burden to place upon his boy, but he had to save him.

"It's too late. We can't move the Princess; it will hurt the babies." He replied ardently. He was confident that one or both babies and possibly Snow would die with the trip through a portal. Snow white Cried out again, and then her first child was born.

Doc cut the umbilical cord and handed Baby Emma to Snow. The Laboring Princess would need a bit of recovery before the second child was born. Snow White Held her while the prince looked on. "The wardrobe. It only takes one." She said as she could feel the pains of the second labor assail her body. Prince Charming ran his hands over his daughter's little face. He took her from Snow as he saw her getting ready to birth their son. "Then our plan has failed. At least we are together." Before more could be said, a swirl of blue and silver smoke appeared in the room, and once it cleared, they saw a man dressed in blue with silver stars patterned over his robes.

Merlin held his hands up as a sign of peace; Merlin had no intention of harming the Charming's or their children. The Wizard needed the boy. He was destined to defeat a great evil in his realm. He had seen the vision Centuries ago, and now was the time to fulfill it. "Peace, my friends, My Name is Merlin, and I am a wizard from the wizarding realm. If you trust The Blue Fairy, then I must beg you to trust me, for I have worked with the Reul Ghorm for centuries." The prince set baby Emma next to snow on the bed while he drew his sword and stepped in between his wife that this unknown man. "And what makes you think your word will be taken as truth? You could easily be the Evil Queen. She has been known to change her shape." He looked at snow-white in the eye. What he would say was known only between Her and the creature that had disguised itself as the blue fairy. "When your mother was dying. You were given a choice, save your mother by using a two-ended candle to exchange the life of another and replace it with hers. You were tempted but chose to make the right choice and keep the light within you, just as your mother would have wanted."

"The story is true." She told charming as she was dealing with another contraction. "AHHHH, I believe him. No one else could know that story." She panted. Merlin walked over towards Snow, Keeping his movements slow and steady. He didn't want to give the prince any reason to run him through. He played his hand on her stomach and said, "Leino", a Silver light from his wand surrounded her stomach.

before Charming could advance on the Wizard, he saw his wife relax a bit. "What did you do to my wife, our child?" Merlin faced the prince again, backed up from the prince's wife, and explained, "I merely eased her pain. I did nothing to the boy. He is needed." Snow and charming looked at one another again, apprehension clearly in their eyes and displayed on their faces. One more yell came from the princess, but it was also joined with the second child's wailing. "He's here, Charming our little boy is here." The Child was then enveloped in Green and silver sparkles, causing the boy to scream just a bit louder. "What is wrong with him?" Snow said worriedly.

Snow clung tighter to her son while Charming held Emma. "He is a Wizard. His Hybrid magic is manifesting; you must hurry. The wardrobe will only take Emma. I can promise you that if you give him to me, and after he fulfills his Destiny, he, like your daughter, will reunite with you when they turn twenty-eight years old. He will be the hero your daughter will need. He will have the necessary experience to show her the way to save you." Snow looked over to charming with a sad, resigned look in her eyes. She didn't want to send her children away, but she had to hope that they would find them again, that her son would guide their daughter to be the best kind of hero she could be. "You have to take her. Take Emma to the wardrobe." Snow White said devastatingly. She held the boy up to her chest; Alexander was rooting around trying to find her breast so he could fill his belly, but they didn't have time for that. She would have to hope that Merlin would feed him.

"Are you out of your mind?" Charming said incredulously he hadn't even gotten a chance to hold his son. He looked longingly at the tuft of Black hair that was so like his mother's. Alexander hadn't opened his eyes yet, so he couldn't tell what color they were. He looked down at Emma. She had his mother's blond hair and his blue eyes. She was wiggling her arms up in the air, making little cooing noises.

"No, it's the only way. You have to save her, and Merlin will swear to save our son." She said. As tears slid down her cheeks, she looked over at Merlin pleadingly. "I swear on my magic that he will live, and you will be reunited when both your children reach their twenty-eighth year." Merlin conjured two milk bladders, handed them to Snow, and charming the two children immediately latched on them. Sucking could be heard as they fed.

"No, no, no. You don't know what you're saying." He said as he stood up and paced the room while his daughter fed. Once both children were done, they were burped, and then they fell asleep.

" No, I do. We have to believe that Emma and Alexander will come back for us. We have to give them their best chance." Snow white kissed Alexander on his cheek and then handed him to merlin. Merlin walked over to charming.

Prince charming and Snow White switched babies so he could also say his goodbyes; Merlin handed Emma back to the princess, who held her and kissed her head as she cried out in her agony. Hating the fact that she had to give her children away for twenty-eight years. Prince Charming took Alexander and handed him back to Merlin. He stared the Wizard in the eye, saying everything that he couldn't verbalize, but Merlin understood. He placed his hand on Charming's shoulder in an action that was meant to comfort.

Snow White kissed her kids once more before saying. Goodbye, Emma. "We love you both, Alexander." The two royals watched as Merlin Swirled away in Blue and silver smoke. Snow broke down, then placing hands over her face, she was inconsolable, they heard the clanging of swords and shields. Prince Charming took his sword near the door, and he entered the hallway.

Charming fought off two of the Queen's guards but was injured in the side Charming Headed towards where the wardrobe was kept. Once he entered the nursery planned for his twins, he opened the doors to the cupboard. He placed Baby Emma inside the cabinet and kissed her forehead. bring your brother and Find us. Charming said, then he closed the wardrobe doors. Two more black knights entered the room. One appeared to mortally wound the prince by stabbing him in the chest with his sword. The guards broke open the wardrobe but discovered that it was empty, and Baby Emma was gone.

Merlin and Alexander in the Wizarding world, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Merlin appeared at the edge of the gate of Hogwarts School of witchcraft and Wizardry, the Gates opened for him, and he walked up the pathway to the school entrance. "There, there Alexander, it's alright Time is an illusion, a construct of the mind to note the passage of change; before you know it, you will see your sister and parents again." Once he reached the front doors, he was met by a man in maroon robes with stars and swirls patterning his robes.

The man in front of him was Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. He was the leader of the group of past students and friends that were fighting the current Dark Lord; Merlin wouldn't say he was the Pinnacle of goodness and light because Dumbledore wasn't. Merlin was aware of all that he sacrificed for the pursuit of power. But he could count on the man's desperate need to fix his past mistakes. "Well met, Wizard Dumbledore, I am Merlin Myrddin, and this is Alexander Leopold Charming, Wizard." Formally of the Enchanted forest. Dumbledore was shocked. He had no idea that he would be lucky enough to meet the most Famous Wizard of the light in the Entire Wizarding world. It was an honor beyond compare. "Well, Met Wizard Merlin, it is an honor to meet you and Young Wizard Alexander. Please come inside and relive yourself and the young one. He must be tired."

They walked up to the headmaster's office, merlin relating stories of times past, where he would visit from time to time how it was confirmed that Slytherin left the castle, but it was not true with the reason why. "Slytherin did not mind the Muggleborns, but he appreciated that the times and thoughts were changing and that his companions were changing the fundamental beliefs in the wizarding world, making it more palatable. So he left to join the Druids and Wizards that shared his opinion. He knew that he could not change their minds, so he left to find like-minded Wizards."

Dumbledore nodded. "Very interesting, May I ask your opinion on the matter?"

Merlin shifted Alexander in his arms and said. "Those without will always desire to have; if they can not have, they will desire to destroy so none other can possess. Those who are ambivalent will neither dissuade the growth of the thing that others possess nor help it grow; they will do nothing knowing that they have neither the knowledge nor the ability to help either way. And those who hate anything that is not what they believe normal will try with all their might to destroy that which is most abhorrent to them. Love my good Wizard is the bridge that will cover over every hard thing that must be traversed." Dumbledore stood there before the gargoyle to the headmaster's office. He couldn't decide if the Wizard had answered his question or not. Coming out of his thoughts, he faced the Gargoyle again and uttered the password. "Fruity nibbles."

Once Merlin and Dumbledore were sitting in their respective places, Merlin conjured a Bassinet for the young prince. He laid him gently down in the blanket that his mother had lovingly made with blue ribbon embroidering the sides. Alexander's name was stitched at the bottom near his feet in Blue as well. Once the young prince was settled, Merlin turned his attention to the old Wizard and began to speak. "Centuries ago, I saw a prophecy about this boy. He would be the Savior of the wizarding world, defeating Lord Voldemort; though he was born in another realm, he is destined to save this one. The Shears of fate were used on a boy not one day ago as I knew that they would, the Destiny of Neville Longbottom has changed. No longer will the prophecy belong to him. That burden has been placed upon young Wizard Alexander charming."

Dumbledore was fascinated. Did the Longbottom's know? Did they deliberately change the fate of their son? It was never wise to mess with fate. Bad things happened when you did. He knew that he was a wizard that coveted knowledge. He received top marks in all of his subjects in school, they studied the history of magic, and within that subject, they learned about the old Gods of the Norse, the Greek, the Egyptian, and the pagan gods. And Fate would not be denied, one could change their fate forcefully through shearing their thread on the tapestry of life, but the consequences were felt by those who had done it. It was only a matter of time to see what the outcome would be. You bring the child to me; what is it you would have me do? Dumbledore asked. He took another look at the boy. He had a tuft of black hair, and when the child was awake, he had emerald green eyes. If he did not know that the child was not from this realm, he would have sworn that he was the potter's son, but they had no children. James was far too concerned with being an Auror and helping out the Order of the Phoenix. Lily was finishing up her charm mastery.

"I need you to find him a family that will swear on their magic to keep him alive and safe until he fulfills his destiny, and if something were to happen to this family, I would have you swear on your magic that you will keep him safe and alive until he defeats the Dark Lord. If you can not, this world will be swallowed in darkness, death, and destruction." Merlin explained solemnly, he would not take chances with the boy. He had sworn on his magic to the parents that he would ensure Alexander lived to be reunited with them, and his sister, Merlin, would need to keep his magic because at some point soon, Nimue would betray him and trap him in a Hawthorn tree. Albus Dumbledore took in all that Merlin had said and considered carefully. He knew whom he would like to have as guardians to the boy, but he would have to discuss it with them and see if they would be willing. He would have to make many plans and considerations to achieve what Merlin desired. It would not Be an easy thing to do. I will make the Vow here and now to protect the boy and ensure his lives to fulfill his destiny. Albus then fire-called the Potters to come over so that they might discuss Adopting the boy. He then also Fire-called Severus to be the binder of the Vows since he was Lilys closest friend. She didn't care much for James' friends. She thought them too immature, and she had a point they were. Severus was a man that could be trusted.

Storybrooke

Henry was sitting with his Uncle Alexander on his castle, which was actually a wooden castle-shaped slide at a playground. The playground was along the shore. Emma noticed the two and walked up behind them. She was carrying Henry's book; in her hand, she climbed up the stairs and sat on Henry's left-hand side because Alexander was sitting on the right. Alexander Smiled at her in greeting; Emma nodded in return and turned her attention to her ten-year-old son. "You left this in my car."

Emma handed the book to him. The three of them looked across to the clock tower. Alexander Leaned back on his palms in a relaxed, chilled manner. He had seen Graham searching for Henry along the beach, so he had thrown a Notice me not charm over them, then Alexander sent a confundus charm at the sheriff, making him confused and forgetful of why he was searching the beach in the first place. Soon after that, the sheriff left, and Alexander and Henry were free to wait for Emma to show up. He felt kind of bad about doing that but needs a must. He had to keep things contained and away from Regina for now. It would keep Emma and Henry safe. He was brought out of his rumination by Emma's question. "The clock Still hasn't moved, huh?"

Henry sighed, dismayed he'd hoped that things would start happening the moment Emma and Alexander made it across the town line. But it hadn't. "I was hoping that when I brought you two back, things would change here. That the final battle would begin."

Emma rolled her eyes; Henry was so stuck in this fantasy land it wasn't healthy in her opinion. He was looking at some severe psychiatric therapy if he didn't back off this delusion. I'm not fighting any battles, kid. She looked at Alexander to gauge his response to what Henry was saying, but all she got was a blank look. But his eyes told that he wasn't going to get involved with a conflict between mother and son, and she could appreciate that grudgingly. She only hoped Alexander wouldn't feed the delusion her son was created either. She didn't think he would remember his statement about Henry losing touch with reality. But Emma had just met her brother. She didn't really know him, so all she could do was hope that he became Switzerland and remained neutral unless it was concerning Henry's health and safety. Yes, you are. Because it's your destiny. You're going to bring back the happy endings. He turned towards his uncle and looked into his eyes.

Alexander slid easily into his nephew's mind with Legilimens and explained quickly that he had to be seen as a neutral territory that Emma's path to being a hero had to be her choice; Emma had to be guided delicately. It wasn't something that could be shoved on her shoulders. She had to want it to not only make her life better, but those whom she cared about, and her actions would ripple out and touch everyone around her, giving them their happy ending because she had found hers. "Remember Henry, its cause and effect, the queen will do something the bad guy always does it will then spur Emma into action, I will help guide her, you and I will give her the tools necessary to take her destiny in hand, and all things will work out for the greater good." He hated that he was sounding and acting a bit like Dumbledore. It drove him mad to work like this, but he was a Slytherin to the core, he was cunning, determined, and Alexander was nothing if he was not a self-preservationist. Henry nodded.

It was so cool that his uncle was a Wizard and could speak to his mind. Emma flared her nostrils in irritation. Henry and Alexander noted that Emma did that when she was just about to blow her top; Henry was ten. He was good and getting adults to blow their tops. "Can you cut it with the book crap?" Alexander raised his hand and whacked the back of her head gently but just enough to get his point across. "BE NICE, Emma." He said, pointing his finger at her. She had the good sense to look a bit embarrassed, but she wasn't going to apologize; that wasn't something she did.

"You don't have to be hostile. I know you like me – I can tell. You're just pushing me away because I make you feel guilty. It's okay, Emma. I understand why you gave me away. Uncle Alex Explained it, you wanted to give me my best chance." He said. Henry looked into her eyes. He had a sweet, sincere look on his face that told her he really did understand that somehow his uncle had explained it in a way that helped him understand. It wasn't that she didn't love him when he was born, but that she had such a low opinion of herself and didn't want to give him a life that was less than he deserved.

"How do you know that?" she turned and asked Alexander. He shrugged and said that "A man named Severus Snape could have raised me but didn't because he was involved in dangerous work at MI6. He wanted me safe, so Severus went with the best option available to him to have the closest contact possible with me. Severus sacrificed being My guardian because he understood the big picture that sometimes the needs of the many out-way the few or even the one." That statement was more palatable other than repeating the mantra THE GREATER GOOD. "even though it meant I ended up in an abusive home."

Henry nodded in agreement with His uncle, even though he wished neither of them had lived with what they had, his mother in the foster system, his uncle abused and beaten down. But his uncle explained that that was part of the path of becoming a hero, going through hard things so they can appreciate the good things and fight to keep the good in their lives. "Because it's the same reason Snow White gave you two away," Henry told his mother.

"Listen to me, kid. I'm not in any book. I'm a real person. And I'm no savior. You were right about one thing, though. I wanted you to have your best chance, Henry. But it's not with me, Mayor mills care's about you, and she's worried. Come on, let's go." Emma said she pulled herself up from her seated position and held her hand out for Henry to take so he could stand up; Alexander jumped down from his place on the edge of the playground apparatus. He waited for them to climb the stairs down and walked back to Emma's car with them side by side.

"Please don't take me back there. Just stay with me for one week. That's all I ask. One week and you'll see I'm not crazy. Henry pleaded. He really didn't want to be around Regina; who knows what she would do to him now that he had found and brought back his birth mother and Uncle.

"I have to get you back to your mom; it's the Law. Legally I don't have any rights to you. That's why Alexander is looking into your custody with Regina because we both want to make sure you safe and Healthy, you may not be happy with her, but for now, that's not something I can help."

"My life sucks!" Henry groused. He even stomped his foot a bit out of ten-year-old petulance. It showed that he wasn't as screwed up as he thought he was because someone miserable and living in a bad situation was more disparaging on what their life was like. Unless you just didn't bring it up at all.

"Oh, you want to know what sucking is? Being left abandoned on the side of a freeway. Our parents didn't even bother to drop us off at a hospital. We ended up in the foster system, and Alexander's adopted parents were murdered, then he was sent to abusive relatives. I had a family until I was three, but then they had their own, so they sent me back. Look, your mom is trying her best. I know it's hard, and I know sometimes you think she doesn't love you, but at least she wants you Me, and Alexander never had that." Emma said through clenched teeth And that was the truth of it. Alexander had been wanted, loved even as he was often told while growing up. Still, when James and Lilly died, he was sent to the three people that wouldn't have cared whether he died in the boot cupboard they'd throw him in a ditch just to spite him if it weren't for the blood protection he gained when James and Lilly adopted him. And Emma was never loved in a familial way. She never experienced the sense of a family connection like Harry Potter had even though it was like looking standing on the outside looking through a window close but never a part of the family, always someone who was sent away, invited for a few weeks but never permanent. He accepted his alienation when he was eleven and on to when he was seventeen. That was part of the hard decisions he had to make; everyone was more important than him/Them.

"Your parents didn't leave you two on the side of a freeway. That's just where you came through, Emma, and Alexander was taken to a different Realm." Henry clamped his mouth shut after blurting that out, His uncle had asked him to keep that a secret he had promised he would, but it just all came out in frustration. He couldn't back peddle now. Henry hoped His uncle would forgive him. Just then, he heard his uncle say some Latin word, "Obliviate. Nice job, mate. I'm never telling you a secret again. You're like a singing troll on Valentine's day; nothing can shut you up. I made her forget everything up to you, saying she wasn't left on the side of the road, Clean up your mess, Henry, and next time watch what you say." Alexander said in a tone that made Henry aware that he wasn't mad, just annoyed.

"What?" Emma asked as she shook her head, she thought Henry had said something else, but she couldn't remember what. "The wardrobe. When you two went through the cupboard, both of you appeared in the street. Your parents were trying to save you from the curse." He said. Internally he was thanking the Fairytale gods that Alexander was a wizard and could erase memories that would have been a mess he and Alexander couldn't explain. Man! he loved Magic.

Sure they were. Come on, Henry. Emma said as she rolled her eyes; she threw her arm over his shoulder and walked over to her yellow bug. Alexander adjusted the seat so Henry could get in. Once they were all in and buckled, they headed towards the Mayor's house.

Fairy Tale Land – Past

Snow White got up from her and charming's bed and struggled to the Nursery where her husband Prince charming had taken their eldest child, Emma. When she entered the room, she walked over to the wardrobe. She saw Charming lying on the ground. He appeared to be dead. No, no! No! No! No! Please, Please come back to me." Snow said as she kissed him twice in her attempt to revive him. The Evil Queen then entered upon the scene in what she assumed was Snow's Babies room. Regina had heard the rumors. She and prince charming were expecting twins. How lovely, twice as much to take from her. "Oh, don't worry, dear. In a few moments, you won't remember you knew him, let alone loved him."

Snow White held Charming even closer. She couldn't do anything to keep them safe from the queen. All Snow could do was hold her husband in her arms and watch the blood flow out of him. "Why did you do this?"

The queen laughed and held out her arms as if she were unveiling a masterpiece to the artisans. "Because this is my happy ending." The two black knights entered the room. They had been scouring the castle in all the places they thought a Babies would be hidden. "The children?" The queen asked imperiously. She wanted to see snow White's face as she held her dying husband and as the queen killed her newborn Babies in front of her, to have snow-white know that she had truly and utterly won.

"Gone, My Queen. The female child was in the wardrobe, and then she was gone. The other is nowhere to be found." The knights informed the queen, they were heartless entirely under her control, so they had to be honest. She had ordered utter obeisance to her. The Queen whirled around and glared at Snow-white for having outwitted her again. "Where are they? Where are the Girl and the boy?" The Queen Demanded, she would have them. She would have them if it was the last thing she did.

Snow Smiled. Hope-filled her heart and mind again. She had the Vow from the Wizard named Merlin stating that her son, Alexander Leopold Charming, would be safe that he would live to be reunited with them, and Charming had done it. Emma Eva Charming had been sent to the land without Magic. She would return as well. "Our Son and Daughter are safely away from your curse. You will lose Regina. The Savior will defeat you. I know she will. Good and Light will always overcome over Darkness."

The Evil Queen stepped closer to the fallen prince and the princess who held him. She leaned in real close so she could witness the fear in Snow's eyes as all that Snow knew all that she loved was ripped away. Well, see about that.

The ceiling broke apart. It was as if a twister had started in the nursery; everything started flying around the room. Snow looked over at the baby mobiles that we set over the Twins cots. Emma's was made of glass shaped like unicorns, and Alexanders were made of Jade in a dragon shape. A twister her children would never get to see them be fascinated by the light as it hit the glass and played off the Jade coloring. She mourned for all those moments she would lose. Their first steps, their first words, every precious moment a new mother looked forward to. She looked back at Regina and asked, "Where are we going?"

Evil Queen Laughed again at the suffering and devastation she was causing a kingdom. She relished in every minute, Regina was going to enjoy her win, whether she headed the imps warning or not that enacting the curse would leave a hole in her heart. It would be worth it. "Somewhere horrible. Absolutely horrible. A place where the only happy ending will be mine." The windows shattered. Dark smoke filled the room, and then they were whisked away.

Storybrooke

Alexander stayed by the car as Emma brought Henry back to Regina. Henry bypassed his adopted mother and ran inside and up the stairs. Emma and Regina watched him go. One was relieved that he was home. The other was worried and awkward because Henry was beginning to get under her shell, just like Alexander was. "Thank you," Regina stated formally. She was not about to show any weakness around the woman or her Brother.

Emma shrugged. She didn't know what to say to the woman, really. Emma didn't like her; Emma thought Mayor Mills was bossy, imperious, and entitled. So she would play it on the safe side and try to keep her thoughts and words safe. "No problem, Alexander was the one who found him, it was a treasure map Henry made marking his favorite spot on it, so it wasn't hard to find the location of where he was."

Regina Folded her arms defensively over her chest. She didn't like that these two knew more about her son in the 24 hours that they'd met him than she did in the last year or so since he had become so despondent and unhappy with her. "He's seemed to have taken quite a shine to you two."

Emma smiled at that. She liked that the kid she had given up liked her and Alexander enough to pull this on his adoptive mother; it made her feel wanted, needed even. "You know what is kind of crazy? Yesterday was our birthday, mine and Alexanders, and when I blew out the candle on this cupcake I bought myself, I actually made a wish. That I didn't have to be alone on my birthday. And then, alexander and Henry showed up, literally at the same time." Emma laughed at the absurdity of it all as if this birthday was any different than all the others.

Regina looked at Emma Warily. She didnt like where this talk was leading; Regina needed to stop it right here and now. "I hope there's no misunderstanding here, Miss Swan."

Emma looked at the mayor, surprised by the tone of voice. She was simply trying to convey a thought, but she must have been misunderstood, or Regina was assuming something Emma didn't intend to relay. "I'm sorry?"

Regina looked at Emma right in the eye so that Emma got what she was saying and understood it. "Don't mistake all this as an invitation back into his life." She would make her point threat of Alexander's custody case or not she could handle him with the little bit of magic she had brought over with her.

Emma leaned back and put her hands on her hips. She was not going to be talked down to by some snooty small-town mayor. Emma had dealt with criminals, hardened to the core criminals as a bail bonds person. She was not going to take this from the likes of Mayor Regina Mills. "Oh"

"Miss Swan, you made a decision ten years ago. And in the last decade, while you've been Well, who knows what you've been doing. I've changed every diaper. Soothed every fever. Endured every tantrum. You may have given birth to him, but he is my son." Regina stated she wanted Emma Swan and her brother out of town.

What Regina didn't know was that Alexander had cast a notice me not charm and walked up to the front door. After Henry had run upstairs, he walked over to the Hedge in front of the stairway and canceled the magic so the two of them wouldn't think he had snuck upon them, which Alexander had. He had known the kind of person Regina was. She couldn't resist sticking it to Emma, so it was a perfect opportunity to get her personality and hostility towards his sister on record. He pulled out his MUGGLE recording device and pushed the rune that activated the audio recording option. He had gotten everything Regina had said to his sister. It was just one more nail in her coffin, with Henry's custody case. "I was not" Emma started to say but was interrupted by the livid mayor

"No! You don't get to speak. You don't get to do anything. You gave up that right when you tossed him away." Regina walked from the doorway of her house and town the few front steps she had and got right Emma's face in her space. "Do you know what a closed adoption is? It's what you asked for. You have no legal right to Henry, and you're going to be held to that. So, I suggest you get in your car, and you leave this town. Because if you don't, I will destroy you if it is the last thing I do. Goodbye, Miss Swan." Regina then noticed Alexander nearby with a recording device. She closed her eyes in exasperation. The man was always around when she was ripping Emma apart. Regina hated him, and Emma Swan just made it so easy for her to lose her Temper. This was not good, OOOOH she hated Alexander charming. Regina ignored the smirk on his face as he placed the device back in his trench coat pocket. She couldn't do anything about it now. She headed back to the house, but before she could slam the door on the hated twins, Emma called after her. She turned to Alex, and he answered the question he saw in her mind and in her eyes; he nodded his head and mouthed, ask her. Emma took comfort from his assurance that this was the right thing to do. Alexander knew that when she asked the question, She would know for sure because she knew when people lied. "Do you love him?"

Regina turned, closing the door halfway. She was surprised by the question, not only because she didn't feel anything for Henry except responsibility. Regina had adopted him to fill the hole in her heart, but it hadn't worked. It had just made her have a commitment she couldn't get rid of. "Excuse me?"

Emma stood taller as if what she was asking came with authority, and to anyone who wasn't Alexander, nobody would have noticed. Still, he could see the tiny glimmer of magic inside Emma that told her the difference between truth and falsehood. He watched as it pulsed, coming to her aid in a greater degree. This was the point where Emma would start to accept her responsibility as a savior. She would often reject the responsibility; bloody hell, it happened to him every year for seven years, but Destiny will out in the end. Henry. "Do you love him?" the unseen magic traveled from Emma and connected to Regina. It was fascinating to watch. Regina then smirked as if she had won something. "Of course, I love him." There the hint of red that told Emma the woman had just lied to her. This was the turning point. Now the work would really begin.

Regina closed the door to her home. She was fuming. She couldn't believe that she hadn't noticed Alexander lurking about her bushes recording everything she was saying. Regina guessed that was what made him an excellent special agent for the British government. They were spies, very adept and concealment. She walked up the stairs to Henry's room on the pretense of checking on him. She found his Storybook in his backpack, quickly taking the book from Henry's room. She held the book as she stared into a mirror. She looked angry.

Mary Margaret was volunteering at the local hospital as she had done every Wednesday night. She was putting vases of flowers next to the patient's beds. They were just spring flowers that Mary Margret had gone out into the woods to find and gathered them into lovely little bouquets. She puts one next to a comatose patient named John Doe, who was in reality, Prince Charming. Elsewhere, Henry, who had pretended to be asleep when his adoptive mother came in to check on him, looked out the window of his room at the clock tower, which still hadn't changed.

Meanwhile, Emma and Alexander headed to Granny's Bed and Breakfast. Inside, Granny and Ruby were arguing. "you probably don't want to share a room with me right, it'd be a bit mad since we just found each other." It wasn't really stated as a question, more of like an observation. People would talk, then they'd have to explain that they were twins and not that kind of twins. But if they could avoid unnecessary gossip and whispers, it would be for the best they were already getting enough of it. Hed heard the speculation around town, the questions, the speculation. He had enough of that to last a lifetime from his seven years at Hogwarts. He didn't have to put up with it now. "Yeah, no, I'll get my own room, your right. It would be weird." He nodded and waved at Emma and headed up the stairs pulling out his key for his room, once inside. He cast a locking charm, a tripping jinx tied to his door handle so he would know if someone were trying to get in. He made a sweep of the room again to see if there had been any spying gear that maid service might have planted or others of the nefarious sort. He also made sure that there wasn't anything magical in his room either. Once he was satisfied he was safe from prying eyes and ears, he called for Fawex. The bird flamed into his room, sat on the back of one of the old-fashioned wing-back chairs and began crooning out a soothing tune. It would help him ease into the land of dreams.

Back Downstairs- Granny's Diner and Inn

Granny was on the other side of the dining room packing the food away for the night, arguing with her Granddaughter, a woman by the name of Ruby. Ruby was wearing a tight white button-up shirt that was open and showing her bust, tied in a knot at her waist showing some of her toned stomach, on a short black and red skirt and knee-high stockings, and Mary jane's platform shoes. "You're out all night, and now you're going out again," Granny said in a tone that brokered no argument, but Ruby ignored that and continued to complain.

Ruby Huffed and stomped her foot like a child. She crossed her arms over her chest and glared at her grandmother. She hated all the restrictions the woman put on her. All she wanted was to be free to be herself, run wild, and find adventure. "I should have moved to Boston." She mumbled out loud enough for Granny to pick it up.

Granny glared back at the impudent child shed raised from a baby since her mother left, and God knew who her father was. She was sick of not getting the appreciation she deserved from the ungrateful Bratt. "I'm sorry that my heart attack interfered with your plans to sleep your way down the eastern seaboard." She would have felt ashamed that she thought of her granddaughter as a whore, but Granny was at her wit's end. She didn't know how much longer they were going to be able to do this.

Emma was so uncomfortable she almost wished that she could have slept in the same room as her brother for the night. Still, neither of them was interested in testing the sleeping boundaries for all she knew, he snored like a lawnmower, and she was exhausted. So she rang the little bell that was sitting on the counter of the check-in desk to get their attention. "Excuse me? I'd like a room."

Granny looked over. She was surprised she had another tenant, the nice young British man was the first newcomer in a long while, and this young lady would be the second. "Really? Would you like a forest view or a street-side view? Typically, there's an upgrade fee for the square, but, as friends do, Ill wave it."

Emma shrugged. It didn't really matter to her. Emma lived in the city and was surrounded by buildings, people, and traffic at all hours of the night. "The Square is fine."

Granny nodded and pulled out her pen and sign-in book. Now, what's the name?

"Swan. Emma Swan." She told Granny. As a man with a cane wearing a golden tan suit named Mr. Gold entered the inn, no one noticed until he spoke. "Emma. What a lovely name, you're the twin sister of that British agent, aren't you? Alexander charming he said his name was." Emma looked at him questioningly. How did he know her brother? "You've met him?" she asked. Mr. Gold nodded. He leaned forward on his can and smiled easily at her. "Yes, He came into my shop inquiring if I had seen young Mr. mills around town on my errands. He was a polite young man, very proficient in looking for the mayor's son. Makes me wish we had him as sheriff and not Reginas lap dog. He's a man who knows how to get things done." She didn't know how she felt about this man being so interested in her brother or her; it was kind of creepy.

"Thanks," Emma said as she grabbed the room key from granny, she gave Mr. Gold a nod. She was just standing there awkwardly when Granny passed Mr. Gold a roll of bills. He placed it in his pocket after eyeing it for reassurance's sake. "It's all here," Granny stated in a slight quivering tone. It made Emma's radar perk up that maybe this guy wasn't as nice as he wanted her to see him as.

"Yes, yes, of course, it is, dear. Thank you. You and Alexander enjoy your stay, Emma." Mr. Gold exited the inn. The two of them watched as he limped out and down the street towards his home. Emma presumed that was one man she was going to avoid. "Who's that?" she asked

"Mr. Gold. He owns this place." Ruby said that man-made her hackles rise every time he came around here, she said as ruby bit her bottom lip. She didn't like it at all. "The inn?" Emma questioned the two. "No, the town. So, how long will you be with us?" Granny asked the blond woman, whose twin was apparently staying there too.

Emma shrugged. None of what went on should concern her. She was just here to make sure henry was ok. When that was done, she and Alexander would head back to Boston. "A week. Just a week." Granny smiled. She'd be making a bit more this week with two new tenants. They might be able to afford a new microwave now. Great. Welcome to Storybrooke.

Henry was still watching the clock tower. Uncle Alex had sent a message to him with a phoenix stating that he should watch the clock tower that he was confident after her talk with his adopted mother she would be staying in story brook. Henry was so excited if his uncle said it was true, then it was. He hadn't lied to him yet, and he didn't think that he would, but he was so nervous, anxious, and hopeful—all at the same time. When Emma took the room key, the clock started moving. Henry smiled widely and then hurried off to be tomorrow was coming, and it was going to be a great day.
