hey everyone so i recently got into miraculous ladybug... so here's this

Cat Noir gulps. Reflecta was back, and she was bigger and stronger this time. Maybe a bit too strong- she chucks a car towards the cat. He jumps out of the way- cat reflexes- but the car lands right on top of another car. "Ladybug!" He screeched, feeling his voice crack. No one had ever gotten hurt during their battles- they were too good at what they did. "I'll take over, go check on them." Ladybug pulls out her lucky charm, and sprints towards the giant. Cat Noir runs over to the car, using his bar to crack the window. "Can anyone hear me?" What he sees is something that will haunt his nightmares for years to come. Nino and Alya's unconscious bodies lying in the front seats. Ladybug's head immediately jerks when Cat Noir screams. She de-evilezed, and ran to her partner's side. "Oh.." Her best friend. She wasn't breathing. Tears threatened to fall, but Ladybug put them on hold. "Just... the proper help they need is coming. Just head home." Cat Noir pulls her into a hug and kisses her on the top of her head. "You did good, Bugaboo." With that, they ran their different ways, too wrapped up in trying to conceal their own tears to notice each others. Ladybug knew they were dead. She just knew.

"Alrighty, where are Alya and Nino?" Miss. Bustier looked at her watch, annoyed. Then a police officer and the mayor walked in. "Excuse me, we have some saddening news about two of your students." They then whisper to Mrs. Bustier. Her face falls. She sits there for a moment before a tear runs down her face. "Oh. I inform them?" The officer nods, and leaves. Marinette tried to keep herself together. She knew in a moment, it would be confirmed, and she could let it all out. "I'm afraid to inform you... your dear friends Nino and Alya passed away yesterday during the fight with Reflecta. Ladybug and Cat Noir weren't able to save them." A sob escaped Marinette's lips. She had the chance to save her friends. She missed it. They would have been here, sitting in this class, if it hadn't been for her. She knew she wasn't right to be Ladybug. Adrien, who sat in front of her, was also sobbing, silently though, so no eyes were attracted. "Y-you are all dismissed for the day." Adrien was approached by Marinette, as they both walk out the building. "You wanna come over to my house? If you wanna be alone, I get it, but if you want to, come anytime." Adrien nodded, still numb. "I'm just gonna go home for now. But thanks." A small smile escaped for just a few moments before Adrien continues his resting bitch face.

Adrien knew if he wanted, Marinette's family would happily console him. They felt more like family then his father did. But he didn't want to be deemed weak, as his father had called him the day his mother died. He still cried on a daily basis, usually while he was supposed to be sleeping, but his father hadn't seen it since. He walked in, dumped his backpack down and raced up the stairs. He let his bedroom door slam behind him, and plopped down on his bed, letting out the sobs he had been holding inside of him. After an hour of lying there and crying, Adrien stumbled to the bathroom, and puked up any food he had had that day. He quickly blew his nose, dabbed his eyes dry, and tried to make himself look presentable to go to Mari's. He knew he'd end up looking the same anyway, but why not try. He slunk out the door, and took two left turns and then went straight until he reached Mari's bakery. He knocked on the door, for Seline to come up. "Oh, I'm sorry, we're closed, you see- oh hello Adrien, come on in baby." He went into the door that lead to their living room sat, with her father hugging her and whispering consoling words. Both Marinette and Adrien were thinking the same thing- words can't turn back time. "O-oh, hey Adrien. I'm glad you came." The TV was playing, and of course, Nino's and Alya's faces were plastered on every news screen. "And the suprising part of this story, Cat Noir and Ladybug have yet to comment. Should we be in panic? Ladybug, Cat Noir, help us!" That sent Adrien and Marinette into another wave of tears. Hugs, tissues, and apologies took up the rest of the afternoon. By the time Adrien left, it was 6:00. "Oh thank goodness, where have you been?" Natalie sighs with relief as the blonde boy walks in the door. "I dunno." Adrien sulked up to his room, and went straight to bed.

"Shut it, Tikki, I'm not gonna be Ladybug anymore." Marinette groans when light enters her room. "Cat Noir has requested to meet up, so you can talk about the death of-" Marinette claps her hand over Tikki's mouth, turning her words into muffles. "If you insist. Tikki, spots on.." After transforming, she jumps out the window and towards the spot she and Chat always met up- the Eiffel Tower of course. "Hey milady..." Chat was sitting down, staring at the ground. "Kitty.." Ladybug ran towards him. They hugged, and Ladybug started to cry again." "Shh, it's ok Bugaboo." She buried her head in Chat's chest and hugged him. They sat there silently for a few minutes, before Ladybug spoke up again. "She was my best friend..." Adrien's eyes widened. "Mari?" Ladybug gasps, realizing she revealed herself. "I'm so sorry!" Chat looked down. "It's okay... Nino was my best friend too." "Adrien..." "Bugaboo... I love you. I'm always here, okay?"
