Marinette lay in her room, staring out of the window, while heavily sighing with sadness. She sighed over and over and it was getting louder and louder.

"Would you quit sighing already?! I can't hear it anymore! Jeez, it's like you're constipated." Alya exclaimed while throwing a pillow at her best friend. "So what? Adrien's going on a date with Kagami, yeah shit happens. But just 'cause he's 'dating someone, according to you, doesn't mean you can morn all day."

"But Alya!!! That's the thing! I'll never be able to kiss his cute little nose and run my hand through his hair and-"

"NO! I can't hear it anymore girl! I can't! He's an idiot for not recognizing you and if it were meant to be then it would've happened, but it didn't! So all you can do is either become a crazy cat lady or MOVE on!"

"Yeah, but-"

"No buts! You are gonna choose an outfit for tomorrow and show that Agrest boy what he missed!"

Marinette turned to her side and faced Alya, who was sitting on her chaise. "Alyaaaaa. But what if I don't look good enough or what if I completely embarrass my self or what if-"

"That's it! I've had enough of these complaints! I'm going home!-" Alya said, jumping off the chaise, moving towards the trap door. "Nooo, Alyyaaaaa!"

"No girl, you have to figure this out yourself. I've tried over and over for the past 6 days, that's almost a week! If you want my help, call me, but I won't tolerate this behavior!" Alya scolded. Marinette frowned "But Mooomm!!!"

"No Cookies for you!" And with that Alya left through the trapdoor of Marinette's room.

Sighing Marinette stuffed her face into the sheets, trying to get a blond-haired boy out of her head. After multiple attempts she groaned loudly and sat up, deciding she needed some fresh air. Marinette grabbed a random black hoodie and climbed the ladder to her balcony. Soon enough she was greeted by a cold, but yet, fresh breeze which smelled like damp tree bark. The view wasn't a sunset with yellow, red, orange, pink, or purple color. It was a night sky with thousands of stars packed next to each other and this made Marinette smile. Her breath steadied and her head tilted back slowly. Taking a deep breath, through her nose, she sat on the beach chair that she once brought back home from Summer vacation. As she grabbed inside the pockets of her hoodie, she noticed something hard and beady. She cautiously pulled it out, just to find herself staring at the one bracelet Adrien made her for her birthday. It wasn't much, on that day, but she knew he made it with his heart and that he loved her, even though it was just as a friend. The contact of her fingers and the beads gave her chills, not the bad type of chills, the good type. Marinette breathed out and put the bracelet back in her pocket. She finally accepted the fact that Adrien liked someone else and that it was time for her to move on, they would still be friends, but Marinette was going to have to try and suppress her feelings until they went away. Marinette leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes, doing all that without noticing that a small tear escaped her eye and ran down her cheek until it finally dropped to the ground.

Suddenly, a big loud crash awoke her. She glanced to where the sound came from, seeing a broken plant pot and soil lying everywhere. What she also then noticed was a black-suited boy laying next to it wheezing in pain. "Chat!" Marinette exclaimed looking down at him. She rapidly bolted out of the chair and kneeled next to Chat putting her hand on his stomach, attempting to turn him around. Hissing, Chat said, "Not there." And she yanked her hand off, noticing it covered in blood. Chat's blood. Gasping she asked, "W-what happened?"

"Heh, got caught up with some muggers on the way home, didn't know they had a knife with them though. I was really surprised." He let out a weak, airy chuckle.

"Chat! You should have been more careful, what if- what if they got to you and stabbed you in the heart. Then- then I- Ladybug wouldn't have you anymore, who is supposed to protect Paris then?" She said choking on her tears. "Eh, I guess Ladybug can do it by herself. I'm just a sidekick anyway…"

"Nonsense! She needs you, you're like her second half, and if you weren't there who would make the eye-rolling worthy puns and-"

Chat coughed small drops of blood interrupting Marinette's rambling, giving her a sign to take the situation into her hands. "Oh my god, we need to get you to a hospital." She said reaching for her phone. "No hospital-" Chat demanded while coughing more and more.

"But what am I supposed to do then? I can't leave you here!"

"Do you think that if I were in this position I wouldn't go to the best sower in all Paris?"

Marinette blinked "You want me to, sow. Your cut. Back together? Me?! The clumsiest girl in all Paris?! I mean are you out of your mean?!"

"Yes," Chat chuckled, "but that still doesn't mean I don't want you to do it."

"Are you sure? I mean-"

"Yes, Marinette."

"Really 'cause like I'm super clumsy like I said before-"

"Marinette."

"Yes?"

"Can we get to it now? I'm kinda in pain as we speak."

"Oh right, um… Ok, uh… Just put your arm over my shoulder."

Chat nodded and did as he was told, limping, they somehow made it down the ladder to Marinette's room.

Marinette grabbed her sowing material, pain killers and scurried back to the hurt Chat that was currently sitting on her bed hissing in pain. "Isn't the suit supposed to heal wounds?"

"Yeah... Maybe 'cause it wasn't an Akuma attack, that it didn't work." Chat breathed out.

"Mmmh... well all I can do now is try my best... I hope I won't hurt you, knowing me, my clumsy self"

"Marinette stop scolding yourself, everyone has flaws. Without flaws, we wouldn't be human. Besides, they're what make you so special. Marinette blushed, but then shook her head slightly. "Anyway… let's get to it then..?" She asked slowly. Chat nodded. Cautiously, she took a damp towel and cleaned the wound, hissing Chat said "J-Just be careful ok? It hurts."

"Ok, but you'll have to tell me. Also, have some painkillers now. They won't work right away, they need some time to reduce the pain." Marinette replied handing him the packet of painkillers. Hesitantly, Chat grabbed two and put them in his mouth. Marinette was met by a crunching sound and a very displeased Chat. Disgustment was seen on his face. "You're not supposed to chew them!" Marinette ushered. "Here take this, you won't have to deal with the after taste then." She recommended. Chat took the Cup of Hot Choco that Marinette had made from earlier. "Sorry, I've never taken pills before." He mentioned. Marinette's face showed shock, her wide eyes traveling up and down Chats body, in a judging matter. "Ok… are you one of those rich, snobby kids that only get high-priced liquid strawberry flavored medicine?" She chuckled. Chat embarrassingly joining her. "Maybe… I am?"

"What?!"

"Eh, surprise? I'm not rich my parents are but-"

"That's exactly what a rich person would say." Marinette folded her arms, seeming unconvinced.

"Ok, well maybe I am-" Chat coughed loudly and Marinette noticed she had to get to work. She grabbed her string, needle and hesitantly neared the needle to his skin. "Tell me if it hurts ok?"

Chat nodded again and took a heavy breath.

Finishing the last stitch she tied the string into a knot and cut off the access. "Whew, finally done. I'm really glad I didn't hurt you, right Chat? Chat?" Marinette looked up expecting to see his face staring down on her, yet she saw a sleeping Chat snoring quietly. Giggling she shook her head "Silly Cat." Grabbing a blanket she placed it on his sleeping body. She then grabbed herself some pillows and made herself a comfy, warm bed. "Marinette? Are you ok? Sorry I wasn't there." Tiki said quietly.

"I'm fine Tiki, I'm fine, everything is gonna be ok…" And with her sleepy eyes, she looked at Chat for the last time that day.
