A/N - I edited this chapter a bit. I used to have an more of an intro, but I didn't like it very much. So now I'm just gonna kinda throw you guys into the story.

You can have it, Kacchan!' A toddler leaned forward arm outstretched towards Bakugou.

Bakugou had been having the same damn dream every night for two weeks.

'Come on Kacchan, take it!' The kid smiled brightly.

Bakugou had never responeded to him, but he was so done with this stupid dream that this time he leaned down and plucked the pink flower out of the child's fingers. He burned the flower a tad bit just to see what the brat would do.

Deku's smile widened even further and then-

Bakugou woke up. It smelled like something was burning. He looked over at his hand to see a wisp of smoke drifting toward the ceiling.

'Did I use my quirk in my sleep?!' Bakugou pondered until his musings were cut short by a shout.

"KATSUKI! BREAKFAST IS READY!"

"I'M COMING, OLD HAG!"

Bakugou quickly departed on his way to school putting aside the strange dreams he had been having for now.

He walked for a few ways when something caught his attention. He paused on the sidewalk and then cautiously took a step towards a small item on the ground. He stooped down, snatched it up, stood up again, and slowly opened his hand. There was a flower petal.

A slightly rumpled charred pink flower petal.

A few passerby's gave Bakugou strange glances, but continued walking on with their insignificant lives. Bakugou noticed their looks and quickly continued onward until he saw another one. Despite himself he started following the petals until he arrived at a window. The last petal laid there peacefully on the window sill.

Bakugou groaned out of frustration. He was being stupid. He knew he was until he noticed the television flicker in the background. Stain's face hovered on the screen for a few seconds and then suddenly switched to a very familiar face.

"Deku!" Bakugou hissed. His face scrunched in confusion until he read the header: Hero Killer's Son. Bakugou's eyes widened and the screen switched again to the attack on Hosu a few days ago.

Bakugou narrowed his eyes. Was there a correlation? The time appeared on the TV, 8:23.

"Oh shit!" Bakugou ran away from the house and barely made it to school on time. He sat at his desk with his head in his hands. Trying to make the connections.

Stain's capture. Attack on Hosu. Deku is Stain's kid.

Bakugou shook his head in frustration. That's stupid isn't it?

"Is it Kacchan?"

Bakugou looked up in search of the voice only to see a familiar red head.

"Hey Bakubro you ok?"

"Shut up, shitty hair! I'm trying to think!" Bakugou growled.

"O-oh ok." Kirishima was a bit taken back by Bakugou's tone, but decided to let it go when he saw how concentrated Bakugou was.

A substitute teacher walked in gaining a moment of Bakugou's attention.

'We have sub?!' Bakugou narrowed his eyes. A lot of things felt off to him.

"Are you thinking about me, Kacchan?"

A small child grinned at Bakugou.

"Is Bakugou, Katsuki here?" The sub looked around the room and saw the empty seat, and was about to deem him absent when a yellow haired kid raised his hand.

"He's here!" He pointed to a teen with spiky blonde hair and reddish eyes. He seemed to be a bit tense. The sub called to him again.

"Excuse me, are you Bakugou?" The sub called slightly louder this time, but Bakugou didn't notice.

He was focused on the small child giggling in front of him.

"You care about me! Don't you, Kacchan?"

Bakugou felt a nudge on his shoulder and came back to reality. Everyone's gaze was on him. There were a few hints of worry visible.

"What the hell do you want?!"

Jirou pointed to the substitute.

"You are Bakugou, correct?" The sub gave Bakugou an annoyed look.

"So?!"

Everyone in the room grimaced at Bakugou's choice of words. They had been trying to get his attention for five minutes, and his attitude wasn't helping the situation.

"We've been trying to get your attention for a while Mr. Bakugou." Bakugou's eyes widened as if he remembered something. He looked back at the spot where Deku had been standing.

He was gone.
