A/N: So let me start off by saying this. This story is something that I've wanted to do for a long time #1 because I freaking love Marvel especially the MCU, I just wish that they would explore adding the X-Men and The Fantastic Four to the MCU. And #2, this man who my OC is inspired by is one of my favorite comic book characters of all-time because he struggles with being different and trying to fit into society, that's something I feel that I actually relate to. And also because he's hot and he has manners, and coming from California and living in Texas now, that's not something you come across everyday. So if you don't like it, go read something else. If you like it, good stick around it's gonna get better. And if you came here to purposely shit on my story, go suck a dick and have a nice day!
Nearly 25 Years Ago - Aeon
"Aaaaaaah" Agony. Agony was the only thing a woman was feeling right now at the moment. The pain and agony that a man could never feel or handle. It was the pain and agony of a pregnant woman getting ready to bring forth a new life into the chaotic universe. Her loud screams of agony could be heard from miles from where she was. But luckily for her and everyone else, she was away from civilization living on a farm with her husband, the father of her soon-to-be born child.
The love between the two was a tale of a forbidden love. She was a Princess. A woman who since she had been born was groomed to be the next ruler of Aeon and was betrothed to the general of the Aeonian army, General Dek-Am. General Dek-Am was a legendary soldier who was the sole reason that the Aeonian army was able to expand in the universe. He was the reason the Aeonian army was as feared as it was. He was the man who was supposed to marry the princess and bring forth an era of success in Aeon but the Princess fell in love with a man she was not supposed to. She fell in love with a farmer who worked to bring in fresh corps to the Aeonian Kingdom. Their love was forbidden and when the King found it, he wanted to have the farmer executed but the Princess refused to allow that to happen due to her love for the farmer. The King made the Princess choose between two options, give up on her hopeless love and marry the General to keep her power or give up her power and marry the farmer, her true love. She chose the latter of the two and relinquished her crown to marry her true love. The two married and chose to live their life on his farm away from everything. Away from everyone.
And fast forward to now, where she lay on her bed in agony as her husband held her hand trying to console her and motivate her to keep pushing.
"Keep pushing Amya, you're almost there." He said as she squeezed his hand tightly as she screamed again to push out their child. Strands of her blonde hair was in her face sticking to her face due to the sweat from the strenuous activity of giving birth.
There was one final scream that just so happened to be louder than the others as she pushed out a crying baby who's cries could be heard from great distances. A boy with the choice of being whatever he wants to be in the future. A boy who had the choice of being whatever he wanted to be. A boy who could decide his own future. A boy who was the planet's first naturally born child in nearly 3 centuries. Before him, children were created with a specific set of skills for a specific task that was already predetermined for them at birth.
"He's beautiful Amya."
"Let me hold him, Sol." the former Princess as her crystal blue orbs met her husband's golden amber eyes. He smiled as he walked over to her and placed the baby in her grasp. She gently grabbed a hold of her child and held him close to her chest smiling as she looked down at the little bundle of joy.
"You did a good job."
"No, this one was all you." He said as he walked over to her and placed a kiss on her forehead before placing a peck on the forehead of his son as well. His gaze was placed on his wife and their new addition with his sight never being taken off of them. This was a moment he would never forget, a moment worth a lifetime. A moment that he would dread for a while because he knew exactly what he had to do next.
- Early Morning -
Amya walked out of her house standing on the front porch looking out amongst the sky. Aeon's sun was starting to rise. Amya held her son close to her chest feeling his shallow breaths on her skin making her smile. Her gaze shifted from the sky to their farmhouse seeing that the door was open. She stepped down off the porch and started to take a stroll to the farmhouse in which her husband spent most of his time in.
She took a step in and looked around. Her eyebrows furrowed as she looked, seeing a silver circular pod with a logo of a sun engraved in it. She recognized the logo, it was the old logo of the Aeonian Kingdom, the logo that was featured prominently during the age of Aeonian history when people were able to have free choice. A logo they used when the Aeonians were focused on universal peace and keeping people safe. The Golden Ages of Aeon in her opinion. But why was her husband creating a pod? How had he created a pod? And why did it look like a single person pod?
"You're up early."
"Couldn't sleep. I didn't have my husband lying next to me." She replied as he put down his tools and walked towards his wife giving a quick peck on the lips and giving his sleeping son a peck on the forehead.
"I was working."
"What is it?"
"A means to escape the inevitable."
"He's coming." Sol nodded as he looked at the pod with a frown.
"I got a distress signal from my brother, Gin. The Ravagers passed through another plane that he left in his path. There is only a matter of time. I built this for you and him."
"What about you?"
"I'll just have to stay here. Stay and hope he doesn't kill me. If he doesn't then I'll come get you two."
"Do you seriously expect me to be okay with this?"
"It's the only way to protect him and you. I couldn't be at peace if I know I put you two at risk."
"And I couldn't live with myself if I knew you were dead while me and Kann were alive."
"So how would you rather have it? Kann alone? Alone for someone else to raise him? Not over my dead body! It should be you with him! Every boy needs his mother!"
"And every boy needs his father!"
"This is exactly why I didn't want you to find out about this yet!" Sol shouted as the little boy began to cry in his mother's arms making her sigh as she looked down at her bawling baby boy as his screams echoed around the farmhouse.
"I'm gonna go. He probably needs to be fed." Amya said as she turned around walking out of the farmhouse leaving Sol there alone to finish working the pod he was creating. He sighed deeply as he looked down at the ground before he threw a wrench across the farmhouse in frustration.
- Hours Later -
A few hours had passed and Sol was still in the farmhouse working the pod. He was super determined to get it off the ground and fully operational for travel. Despite being created for the sole purpose of being a laborer on a farm, Sol studied and learned how to work on machines. Part of it probably came from his ravager daus that he spent with his brother. Sol left that life behind nearly 2 decades ago but his brother decided to keep living that same life. During that time, he encountered a lot of things that an average person wouldn't see. Stones with infinite levels of power. Living planets. Beings from other planets.
And here he was thinking it was a good idea to send his wife who sacrificed her entire life for him along with the son that just got brought into existence. Was it a good idea? No but it was a much better idea than letting "The Mad Titan" decide their fate.
Sol frowned as he looked up seeing as if it got darker outside which couldn't be right considering it was the middle of the day. An ominous feeling came over him. A feeling he just couldn't shake making him stand up from his previous kneeling position to walk out of the farmhouse and look up at the sky. His breaths became shallow as what he saw felt like a nightmare. He was here. "The Mad Titan" was here.
Almost on cue Amya came running out of the hut with Kann wrapped up in a black blanket with a gold interior. There were tears in her eyes. Almost as if she spent hours crying as she realized what she had to do. She realized the sacrifice she had to make. The sacrifice of giving up her child so that he may survive and not have the chance of being taken as the half to be killed by "The Mad Titan".
"Is it ready?" She sniffled as she approached Sol. He nodded as he ran back inside the farmhouse with her following behind as their son began to cry. She pressed the button on the side of the pod causing the door to open with a hiss sound. Although it was meant for two, it was only gonna be used for one. Amya made a promise to her husband to be there for him in sickness and in health, life or death and while her son was the more important male in her life, he was so young that his mind couldn't make any memories of her meaning he wouldn't bare the memory of loss if she were to die at the hands of the Titan.
Sol was tapping a holographic panel on the side of the pod configuring it to work and to pick a location.
"I have chosen a world. Earth. It's planet's sun will give him abilities. Abilities that will make him strong enough to combat the Titan if he ever came to their world. Kann will make their world a better place. Kann will do what we have failed to do. Kann will save them all." Sol said as Amya grabbed a small hologram projector as well as black metallic box with a sun logo engraved on top of it and placed them inside the pod.
"What if they reject him? What if they kill him?"
"They won't be able to. They're good people, they just need someone to guide them. Someone to drive them to accomplish wonders. Someone to defend them against the threats they can't handle." Sol said as he finished up on his configurations and walked around to the pod's door looking at his son to say what could be his final goodbyes. He leaned in and gave his son a kiss on the cheek before placing a hand over his head.
"Consider this a temporary goodbye my son. I will see again. Whether it be in this life or the next. My hopes, my dreams, my strengths and my weaknesses travel with you. May you be the great man that I know you'll grow to be. I love you Kann. I always will." Sol said as tears began to form in his eyes.
"Goodbye Kann. I love you. Be their Champion or be nothing at all, the choice is your my son, just be great." She said as she gave him one final kiss on the cheek as he heard what sounded like monsters approaching and approaching fast. Sol and Amya quickly took a few steps back waiting as the pod door closed with a hiss. The pod began to levitate off the ground with it's thrusters before it bolted off, flying off into the air out of the atmosphere.
Sol and Amya walked out of the farmhouse looking into the sky as the pod began to become a blip in the sky before disappearing all together. The couple locked hands as they sig/hed and switched their gaze to what was coming towards them, accepting whatever fate they were destined for.
"We love you son." Amya said as tears began to trickle down her cheek while she stared up at the sky.
A/N: Alright and that's that. Notice how I never mentioned at the end whether Kann's parents or his planet survived. Why? Because you'll see later on in the story. And yeah, I'm pretty sure you could tell who this character is inspired by. I'm not gonna try to hide it or anything because simply put I don't care. I know some people are gonna hate this story, I know some people are gonna love this story. One thing I've learned in my short amount of time on this planet is that you can't please everyone. And if you try, you're doing yourself a disservice because with every little thing you do there will always be someone that doesn't like it. So with that being said, I'm going to write this story whether anyone likes it or not, simply put because I want to.
Anyway aside from all that please R&R and onto the next chapter.
