Author's Note:

You know the scene I was looking forward most to was Alex telling Kelly Kara is Supergirl. Did the CW deliver that, no. What was their excuse? They have a healthy relationship, so it was deemed as not important. What? Seeing moments like this for couples, any couple develops and deepens the relationship healthy or not. Dansen was robbed so here is my take. CW you have failed so much so that I am glad this is the last season for this show.

The stress of losing Kara to the Phantom Zone had already begun to take its toll. Kara was alone, facing the horrors that waited. She wasn't used to feeling this helpless, unable to save her sister. Sure she was a superhero, but she knew her limitations. This was something Alex couldn't shoot her way out of.

Alex headed to Kelly's apartment to meet her. They had made plans...with Kara. After a knock at the door, Kelly opened the door and greeted Alex with a huge warm smile. "Hey there." She leaned in giving Alex a sweet kiss in greeting, in the kitchen were white takeout boxes, and the scent of fried shrimp and bbq pork, normally mouth-watering, hit Alex like a brick. Movie night and Chinese food, with plenty of potstickers. Kara would have loved this.

Alex swallowed hard as the lump in her throat swelled. In the kitchen, Kelly plated food and smiled, unaware of Alex's loss. Perhaps ignorance truly was bliss. "Ok so, I got everything ready so all that's left is for your sister-" Kelly began only for the words to trail off, Kelly's eyes focused on her girlfriend, she frowned. "Alex, what's wrong?" She immediately crossed the room, taking Alex's hands in hers.

"Kara..." Alex took a deep breath as she struggled to speak. "Kara's not coming."

"What happened? Is Kara alright?" Kelly's concern was overflowing from her voice.

"I have to tell you something... about Kara. Kara... Kara is Supergirl. She was fighting Lex, and he sent her into the Phantom Zone, and I don't know how we are going to get her back. She's trapped and I can't help her."

Kelly froze the shock of this new revelation was something Kelly wasn't prepared for. Alex's little sister was Supergirl? "Kara… Kara is Supergirl?"

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you, sooner. I've wanted to tell you under better circumstances. I'm horrible for keeping this a secret for so long." Alex began only for Kelly to interrupt Alex and pull her into a tight hug.

Right now Kelly's primary concern was Alex. Alex was unraveling emotionally. She could put her feelings on hold for now. Alex needed her right now.

"It's alright. I know telling someone's secret identity is not something you reveal on a first date." Kelly pulled back briefly and gently wiped away Alex's tears that had fallen on her cheeks. "I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere. We will get through this together. No matter what happens, Alex."

Kelly brushed Alex's hair back gently, "Thank you, for everything Kelly." Alex let out a small sob. Without Kelly's strength and support, she knew she would be a mess.
