"Can we just get along?" The stallion asked, standing close to the open door to the dorm room. His roommate stood silent and still, gazing thoughtfully at the lower bunk bed. "Look, we're kind of stuck here together, so we might as well make the best of it. Besides, I hate fighting with someone who's supposed to be on the same side as me." Silence. Alexander took a few steps closer and offered up his hoof. Sky Streaker stubbornly held his gaze on his bed, refusing to acknowledge the stallion's presence. Alexander sighed. "Or you could just not talk to me… that works too." He threw his bag onto the top bunk and left the room.
He walked down the halls to the counselor's office, which happened to be empty. He walked further down the hallway to Headmare Starlight's office. The door was cracked open so he knocked as it opened. Starlight was talking to the counselor, Trixie. He immediately felt the tension when they quickly stopped talking and looked at him, frowning for a second before smiling.
"Hey there, Alexander!" Starlight greeted him cheerfully. "Is there anything we can help you with?"
"I hope so." He walked into the office, shutting the door behind him. "I'd like to change roommates."
