When Geri and Cordell disappeared, Hoyt thought nothing of it until they still hadn't returned ten minutes later. He stood up and went to go find them, stopping dead in his tracks at the noises coming from a supply closet. He cocked his head in confusion and then opened the door, staring in shock at the two of them in various states of undress and definitely making out. "Well, this is certainly not what I expected to find y'all doing. Were you having a quickie?"
They jumped apart and blinked at him. "Uh, no?" Cordell tried.
He rolled his eyes. "Didn't I teach you to lie better, Cordell Walker?"
"Are you upset? You don't seem like you're upset," a confused Geri pointed out, laughing when Cordell handed over her shirt.
"I'd ask when this started but I don't give a fuck - you're both free to do what you want." But fuck, Hoyt was jealous of them both.
Cordell narrowed his eyes, and Hoyt knew he'd been caught. He turned to his girlfriend and smirked at her. "You thinking what I'm thinking, Geraldine?"
She froze for a quick second before winking at them both. "I didn't think you'd be the one to go there - thought I'd have to broach the subject." She leaned up to kiss him. "God, I love you."
"I love you too," Cordell told her.
"You want to let me in on the secret and stop being gross any time soon?" Hoyt interjected with a sigh. He gasped when Cordell grabbed his shirt and yanked him into the closet. "All you had to do was ask," he joked, clearly caught off guard. He didn't complain when Cordell surged forward to kiss him.
Geri then proceeded to turn him around to face her after Cordell was done and also proceeded to pull Hoyt in for a kiss. "What do you say, Hoyt? You in?"
Dazed, Hoyt could only nod. "Hell yeah, I'm in. Two of the most important people in my life want to fuck me. What's not to love about that?"
"This is about more than fucking you. Or you fucking us. We're all in."
"You're going to tell me this whole story eventually," Hoyt warned. Sue him, his curiosity was getting the better of him. But first, he wanted to kiss them both some more. "Is anybody else going to come looking for us?"
"They better not." Geri giggled and melted in Cordell's kiss. He pulled them both into his arms and hugged them.
"Does this happen to you all the time?" Hoyt stage-whispered to her.
"Just go with it, Hoyt Rawlins," she shot back. Geri was grateful that she didn't have to choose between the two men she loved and that they had found a viable solution. Could have solved a lot of problems back in the old days.
When they returned to the bar fifteen minutes later, no one - except for Micki and Trey - was none the wiser.
This was the start of something new for Geri, Cordell, and Hoyt, and they were excited to test out their new relationship.
