I don't exactly know what to summarize this so I'm just going to write and you can make of it what you want all I know is that I want Stefan to be the next IT man at 16 years old going on 17 and he moves to Mystic Falls (I haven't thought of why he moved) and Elena is a small town girl that has been a big fan of Stefan (same age as him) since his first hit song

Stefan was a normal 15 year old with dreams of becoming a star since he was 12, dreams he thought he'd never reach. Everyday he'd write new music and practice the songs every minute with hopes of someone hearing them and loving them. Sometimes he would go outside around midnight or two in the morning to play his guitar and sing. He tried not to give up and to keep believing in himself, believe that he'll become the next 'Americas IT man'

"Hey Stef, you okay?" a gorgeous girl with big blue eyes and straight silky blonde hair, asked as she walked onto his porch

"Hi Lex uhm Yeah I'm fine just trying to see how the new lyrics fit with this song" he replied, getting up with his guitar in hand and giving her a big hug

Stefan moved to Los Angeles 2 months before his 13th birthday. Lexi has been one of his friends since he first moved from New York to LA . She gave him a tour around his new performing arts school, he bought her a popsicle in return. She is an amazing dancer and hopes that one day she'll dance along Rhianna or Beyonce. Lexi is one of his biggest supporters and he knows she'll be his best friend forever

They both sat down on the stairs of the porch, listening to Stefan, humming to himself the lyrics of his new song. Lexi stares at Stefan, admiration clear in her eyes. She knows that one day he'll be famous because he is just that good. He's original and he's unique which makes him amazing for show business. Stefan looks over at Lexi and smiles brightly, making her smile in return "wanna hear it?" she nods her head and waits for him to start

Stefan props his brown guitar so he's comfortable enough with it on his lap and he begins to strum the guitar strings. The sun shining on the guitar reflects a beautiful caramel color, the kind of brown that can make a heart melt. The guitar sang the language of the universe, a melodic tune gently flowing into the afternoon air

"oooo" he started out "I fell by the wayside like everyone else..I hate you, I hate you, I hate you but I was just kidding myself" his voice is so passionate yet so gruff. Tears grazed over in Lexi's eyes but she tried to blink them back which just made them spill over "our every moment, I start to replace, 'cause now that they're gone all I hear are the words I needed to say"

"when you hurt under the surface, like troubled water running cold well time can heal but this won't" the voice crack sent chills down Lexi's spine "so, before you go was there something I could've said to make your heart beat better? if only I'd have known you had a storm to weather" he looked at Lexi and paused "are you okay?" concern flashed across his face. Stefan knows he's good but he doesn't know how amazingly good he is. He always undermines his talent saying he's just as good as the next guy but he's more than that

"yes" she chuckled then wiped her eyes "you're so good Stefan and wow that song is so touching"

Stefan blushed and turned his head away "you're just saying that"

Lexi shook her head "No I'm serious Stefan, you're good" she grabbed his hand "you are going to do big things one day" he pulled her in for a hug "like what?" She laughed and pulled away

"well after many mini concerts you'll have that one big concert" she smiled up at him "you'll sing that song right there and it'll be beautiful" he chuckled "I'll be dancing obviously" she joked with him

He kissed her on the cheek "Hell yeah you'll be dancing" she pulled him into a hug and he stroked her hair "thanks Lex"

- ONE YEAR LATER -

The brown haired man walked down the long corridor, walking past many doors with names on the front. He turned the corner and walked further to a big door with a star on the front labeled S.S. He opened the door and shouted "Stefan, you're going on in five" Stefan nodded his head and the man backed out, closing the door behind him

Stefan fixed the collar on his light blue dress shirt and rolled the sleeves up. He brushed his hands on his faded gray jeans, hoping that his hands won't leave a sweat stain. He spun around at the sound of his dressing room door opening and threw his hands up "and where the hell have you been?" he questioned

"Stefan don't start with me" she started "we're about to go up on stage and your hair looks a hot mess" she walks over to him and runs her hands through his hair

He looked in her eyes and relaxed "thanks Lex" he grabbed her shoulders and gently moved her "I gotta get out there, hurry up"

"Good luck" Stefan kissed her on the cheek, wishing her good luck as well then spun around and exited the room. Lexi stood there with a wide smile on her face, her best friend is finally living his dream and she's doing it with him

Stefan stood backstage waiting to be announced on to the stage. He can hear the roars of the audience and can't help but smile. He's doing this, he's finally doing this. He announces Lexi on stage today so he didn't bother looking around, she's probably digging through his fruit baskets. Stefan laughed at the thought then ran his fingers through his hair

"...Stefan Salvatore" he snapped out of his thoughts and adjusted his collar one more time before jogging on to the stage, waving his hands and blowing kisses. Stefan grabbed the microphone from the man on stage and gave him a pat on the shoulder as he made his way off stage

"How are y'all doing tonight?" Stefan shouted into the microphone. Roars of screams and applause erupted from the large crowd and he smiled largely, showing off all of his pearly whites "I didn't hear you" he said while lifting an eyebrow "How are y'all doing tonight!" He shouted one last time. The crowd went wild, applause and screams can be heard from miles away. He lifted his arms up and down encouraging them on. He waited for the crowd to quiet down a little before starting up again

"this is a song that I wrote a few months back and no other person can dance to it the way my bestfriend Ms. Alexia Branson does so please give her a huge round of applause" Lexi came running out on stage with his guitar as soon as the crowd burst into another fit of cheers and applause. Stefan looked at her with wide eyes and whispered in her ear "I'm not doing the guitar tonight Lex" She tilted her head and raised her brow "yes the hell you are"

she grabbed the microphone and raised it to her lips "LA wants to hear Stefan play his guitar, right guys" the crowd started applauding and chanting "guitar guitar guitar" Lexi looked back at Stefan and handed him the microphone and guitar "you'll thank me later" she mouthed before walking to her spot on the stage. One of the men in the crew came on stage and gave him a headset so he can walk around and play the guitar

Stefan sat on the stool, setting the guitar on his knee in the position he's been using since forever. He strummed and hummed his lyrics before starting. He played the opening notes and began "I fell by the wayside like everyone else I hate you, I hate you, I hate you but I was just kidding myself. our every moment, I start to replace, 'cause now that they're gone here are the words that I needed to say" he stood up and walked around the stage, staring out into the crowd in pure amazement. Stefan saw thousands of people swaying back and forth with their flashlights on, it's something he's never seen before, it was amazing. Before he can even try to stop it a tear fell from his eye

Lexi moved around the stage, her white sleeveless dress draping loosely around her body, showing just the right amount of hips and breast. She slid her right foot forward and left foot back, dropping low so that her dress brushed the ground and sprung back up so fast that she might've gotten whiplash. She threw her arms up and waved them from side to side, hitting every beat and mesmerizing the crowd. She jumped in the air and twirled. She felt as if she was flying, as if she could touch the stars. I will never stop dancing, She thought to herself as she touched the ground again and skidded to a smiling halt, the crowd cheering louder as she stuck her landing

"would be better off by now, If I'd have let my walls come down. maybe I guess we'll never know, you know you know" he held that last part earning a round of cheers and applause from the audience "before you go" Once he finished up the song, he played a few more notes to drag it out for a few more seconds then stopped. He sat back down on the stool as the crowd started whooping, screaming, shouting and applauding him and Lexi. He looked around and saw people with 'I heart Stefan' posters and 'Lexi and Stef' t-shirts. Stefan looked back toward Lexi and saw her smiling and crying while waving her hands at the crowd

They made eye contact and smiled, both thinking that this is one of the best nights of their life

"Oh god last night was so fun" The brunette yelled into the phone, dragging out the n to emphasize her excitement

"Elena, you said that like 20 times" a cheery voice laughed on the other side of the phone

"did you see his sexy arms" Elena rolled her eyes in a seductive manner while biting her lip "you don't understand Care"

"I understand Elena but Stefan Salvatore is a teenage heartthrob, don't think too much about him" Caroline tried to slowly let Elena know that Stefan would never like her in that way. He is walking sex on a stick and she's just a teenage girl that he'll probably never notice, harsh but true

Elena can take a hint. She inhales deeply "I know I know it's just..." Elena thinks about her words carefully "he's one of those celebrities that you can relate to. With everything that went on with Matt last year he kind of helped me through it with his music"

"awwww" Caroline put a hand to her heart "I completely understand" Elena hears Caroline's mom call her in the background "I got to go but call me later?" Elena tells her that she'll call later, hanging up soon after

She sat on her bed and looked at her signed Stefan Salvatore poster "he will notice me one day"

Most people would call Elena obsessed, she's had a big crush on Stefan Salvatore ever since his hit song 'before you go', way before he became America's IT man. She wants nothing more than to sing a duet with him one day. Her voice is fairly decent, not as angelic as his but good enough. Caroline is a little harsh yes but she has always wanted what was good for her, she never wants her to get her hopes too high cause then she'll just come crashing down when it doesn't go her way and Caroline would have to pick up the pieces. She loves Caroline so much and understands where she's coming from but Stefan's music has really helped her through some hard times

Elena gets up and picks her brush up off of the dresser and runs it through her silky almond brown hair. She looks at herself in the mirror, second guessing how pretty she is. Maybe he likes blondes, she thinks to herself with a frown on her face. Or maybe he already has a girlfriend she thought to herself again

"cut it out Elena" she said out loud, putting her brush down and walking to get under her covers "you'll never meet him" Elena thinks it's totally normal to have a crush on or be infatuated with a celebrity. Care is so in love with Justin Beiber and Katherine always talks about how she wants to get in Ariana Grande's pants, why can't Elena be in love with someone her age even if he doesn't know she exists

She laid down in bed thinking about the concert. The song, Lexi Branson's amazing dance number, The way his eyes glistened when the crowd pulled out their flashlights and swayed to the music. He was so in love with being on stage, like it's been his dream forever. Elena smiled to herself then shut her lamp off
