It was a beautiful day in Ant Island. The circus bugs already arrived there for a special engagement of their friends Dim and Rosie, whose twelfth husband passed away for long.
Rosie's mother Joanna, twin sister Josie and brother Reginald were invited as well, since they noticed Rosie had invited Dim into her family, and while Dim was very shy as for this.
As Rosie approached to her family members with Dim following behind, she noticed her mother tearing up for joy, including Josie and Reginald.
"Congratulations, Rosie. You and Dim are completely meant for each other," Joanna said with a smile.
"Thank you, mom!" Rosie responded sweetly.
"Thanks, Ms. Spider," Dim replied shyly but cutely.
As Reginald felt confused of what Joanna was told, he was reassured by Josie and their mother that it was Dim's dialogue. Surely, Reginald agreed as he stared back at Dim, who blushed even more.
Rosie reacted and reassured him.
"What? What's with the faces?" Reginald asked.
"Dim was being stared at," Josie responded.
"And of course we wish for him to be part of the family thanks to our circus-performing baby girl Rosie," Joanna chimed in.
As Flik, Queen Atta and Princess Dot noticed Rosie's family here, since Dim's family passed away in his old home, the three shook hands with Joanna, Josie and Reginald.
"Long time, no see! You must be Rosie's family," Atta said kindly.
Joanna, Josie and Reginald smiled and nodded in unison.
"Wow, have you noticed Rosie and Dim are getting along together?" Flik questioned.
"Yep! Dim was very shy this whole time, our sister told us," Josie agreed.
"She used to be kind to that beetle," Reginald added.
Joanna and Rosie nodded in agreement, so did Dim. The other circus bugs nodded as well.
But moments later, the wedding minister, who appears to be Mr. Soil, approached from the alley to the ballroom. Flik, Atta, Dot, the widow spiders and the other circus bugs took their seats and spotted Rosie and Dim approaching to the minister.
"We are gathered around for the wedding of our inventor's two partners from the circus troupe. Here we have Rosie, a black widow spider, and Dim, a rhinoceros beetle, who will become married once and for all!" Mr. Soil announced to the ants.
Flik, Atta, Dot, the three widow spiders, the other circus bugs and the ant colony smiled at that comment, agreeing.
"Now, Rosie, do you take Dim to be your husband?" Mr. Soil asked.
"Of course, I do," Rosie answered with a chuckle.
"All right; and do you, Dim, take Rosie to be your wife?" Mr. Soil questioned.
As Dim blushed even redder at that question, Rosie reassured him as she said,
"Dim, honey, it's okay. Nothing's gonna happen badly. It's just that you and I are gonna be mates."
As Dim nodded at that comment with a smile, he turned back to Mr. Soil. Dim nodded his head to him, as if to say yes, since he's too shy to say anything, and never talks a lot.
"Okay, then! I now pronounce you husband and wife!" Mr. Soil said to everyone.
As Rosie and Dim faced each other, they leaned a true love's kiss, which caused their friends to cheer for them.
As Rosie and Dim starter to pack their stuff for the honeymoon trip, they exchanged hugs and kisses with Flik, Atta, Dot, the widow spiders and the other circus bugs. After that, Flik, Atta, Dot, the widow spiders and the other circus bugs waved to Rosie and Dim, bidding them goodbye.
Once it got late, the guests left the wedding; the widow spiders and the other circus bugs remaining: Manny, Gypsy, Francis, Slim, Heimlich, Molt, Tuck and Roll decided to stay for the night, they bid Flik, Atta and Dot each other goodnight, and went to sleep in their guest rooms in the anthill.
Once they were all asleep, the moon shone and glowed brightly in the night as the stars started twinkling.
Fin
