We see Milo and Melissa hanging out under a tree In a park. Milo leaning against the tree, with Melissa Lying down, with her head on his lap. While running his hand through Melissa's ginger-colored hair, a thought strikes him." Hey Liss."

Melissa noticing the somber tone in Milo's voice rolls over to get a better look at his face. In all her years of sticking with milo through friendship and murphy's law, she has never heard his tone sound so sad. He was just so optimistic, and happy that it seemed impossible for him to sound sad. "What's on your mind, Milo."

"We've been friends for God knows how long. But recently I've had this void in my chest. It feels so empty. I try to ignore it. But somehow that voids shrink whenever I'm with you.

"Melissa's chest tightened at this." What are you trying to say, Milo."

"I think, I'm in love with you Melissa chase."

Melissa couldn't believe it. Her best friend, since they were kids, just confessed to her. She loved him. His smile, optimistic attitude, and just taking everything in stride.

While this was going inside Melissa's head. On the outside, She went quiet. Staring blankly at milo.

Milo was concerned. He just told his best friend that he loves her. And she more or less shut down. Deciding to snap her out of it, Milo grabs Melissa shoulder's and shakes her.

"Liss…. Murphy Law to Liss… can you hear me?"

Breaking out of her stupor. "Huh… oh yeah. I was just shocked by your confession." She said.

Melissa rolls over, dusting off her shirt and skirt of dirt, and sits alongside Milo. "So… Since when?" She asks.

"I don't know," said Milo. "It just happened out of nowhere. Before I realized it I fell for you. But I didn't say anything for fear of losing our friendship. To me, our time together is much important than my selfish feelings for you Melissa."

"You didn't have to do that for me."Melissa then grabs Milo's shoulder and embraces him. "No matter what happens Milo, be it Murphy's law or romantic feelings for each other, I will always be by your side forever. "

Tears trickle down Milo's eyes as he wraps, his arms around Melissa.

"Love you, Melissa.''

"Love you to Milo."
