Busted

"Hey, girl, how you doing?" Talia Del Campo asked as Kensi got out of her car at the crime scene, giving her a hug.

"I'm good. You?" Kensi asked, stepping back and walking beside Talia, flashing her badge at the DEA officers standing at the perimeter. The pair ducked under the crime scene tape and headed for the house.

"I'll be better once we close this case," Talia replied as they entered the house, beginning an evidence search. "We've been trying to catch this guy for months, and now he's kidnapped a Naval officer? We need to get him under control, and fast."

"Sad that there's so many guys like him out on the streets," Kensi mused as she began sorting through a pile of books on a nearby desk. The pair worked in silence for a few more minutes, not finding anything particularly useful.

"No Deeks today?" Talia asked after a few moments, as they worked, wanting to make conversation, but also really wanting to know where Kensi's cute partner was.

"Nope," Kensi said, tone rather exasperated. "LAPD put him undercover for a few days."

"That sucks," Talia mused. Kensi nodded.

"I don't like it at all," she said.

"I know how you feel. It's good to have a partner," Talia said with a smile. Kensi smiled back as they continued their search.

"Guys, we got a hit! Eric just texted you an address, we've gotta go now!" Callen ducked in the house, beckoning the two to follow him. "Could be a lead for the drug bust and our missing Navy officer!"

"We're on it!" Kensi replied, tugging her phone from her pocket to get a look at the address. "Talia, plug this into maps!" She tossed her phone to her temporary partner as she jumped into driver's side of the car.

The pair pulled up to an abandoned warehouse a few minutes later, stopping outside a high chain link fence surrounding the perimeter. Kensi got out and popped the trunk, pulling out her vest and rifle.

"Darnit," Talia muttered as Kensi strapped on her vest.

"What?"

"My gear's in my car," Talia said. "Which is not here."

"Wear Deeks' stuff," Kensi replied, pulling her partner's vest and gun belt from the box in the car. "Might be a little big, but it's better than nothing." She rifled through the box for a moment, finding a spare earwig in a little plastic case.

"Thanks," Talia said, tugging Deeks' vest over her head. It was much too big, but it was better than nothing. Kensi rifled through the box for a moment, finding a spare earwig in a little plastic case.

"Here, you're going to need this to communicate," Kensi said, passing the device to Talia as she finished strapping on her vest.

"Thanks." Talia tucked the comm into her ear while Kensi loaded the rifles, handing one off to Talia.

"Guys, you in position?" Callen said over comms. They had parked on the other side of the building. "We're ready to breach."

"Yeah, we're here, Callen," Kensi replied.

"Okay, let's move in," he said. Kensi gave a nod to Talia, who put her hand on the door handle and pulled. Kensi ran in, rifle aimed, body tense, as Talia followed behind her.

"Kensi, infrared sensors indicate movement down the hall to the left," Nell said in her and Talia's ears from OPS.

"Got it," Kensi replied. The two silently made their way down the hall, guns raised. Talia peered into the room.

"Kensi, that's my guy," she said. "We've gotta take him, now. We've been trying to bust him for months!"

"Kensi, Talia, wait for backup," Hetty's voice came over the comms, from her position in OPS. "That room has an outside door. You'll never reach him in time. Get Callen and Sam in position first."

Inside the room, Talia's suspect was making his way to the door.

"Hetty, we don't have time," Talia hissed, adjusting her grip on her gun. "We have to take him now."

"We're on our way to your location, girls," Sam said over the comms. Faint footsteps could be heard over the speaker as the guys ran their way.

"Miss Del Campo, wait until Callen and Sam are in position. That is an order," Hetty replied firmly.

"I don't take orders from you," Talia spat fiercely, tapping her comm to turn it off. She looked at Kensi. "I'm going in. You game?"

Kensi nodded and took a breath. "Let's go!"

"Miss Blye, stay put!" Hetty shouted in her ear, but Kensi turned off her comm and yanked open the door. Talia burst in, gun raised, finger on the trigger.

"Federal agents!" she shouted, but the man was already out the other door, running across the open expanse of concrete, toward a waiting truck. "Cover me!" Talia yelled, taking off after him. Kensi flew after her. The suspect, running bent over, dove into the bed of the truck, snipers inside spraying bullets at Kensi and Talia. They dropped to the ground, but not before a bullet skimmed against Kensi's cheek, and another tore a hole in the sleeve of Talia's jacket.

Gunfire from the sides suddenly burst out, effectively taking out the snipers in the truck bed and flattening the tires. Sam and Callen burst out from behind a stack of crates to their left, running towards the truck and its downed men.

Soon after, the suspects who were alive were in custody, handcuffed to the doors of the truck, and Callen and Sam were rushing toward Kensi and Talia.

Kensi's head was reeling from the bullet to the cheek. Blood seeped from the wound. The bullet had barely touched her, but just enough to open a scrape. Her adrenaline was still pumping, and she barely felt the pain of the injury. She pressed her hand to the wound, looking over at Talia, who was clutching her left arm.

"You alright?" she asked, jerking her chin in the direction of her arm. Talia nodded.

"Just a scratch. You?"

"Same. I'll live," Kensi replied, getting to her knees as Talia stood.

"Not when Hetty's done with you," Callen said loudly as he and Sam reached the girls. He reached down and yanked Kensi to her feet by her left arm, holding her in a tight grip as he landed two mighty smacks to her jean-clad backside. "What the hell were you thinking?"

Kensi's eyes widened, and her cheeks grew red in embarrassment. She gave him a seriously? look, and the glare he gave her back was enough for her to keep her mouth shut.

Callen touched a finger to his ear, nodding.

"I will, Hetty. Yes, thank you," he said. Kensi remembered she had turned her comm off, and she used the hand that wasn't trapped by Callen's iron grip to tap her earwig back on.

"You two go straight to the boatshed," Callen said sternly, releasing Kensi's arm. "If your butt doesn't hurt now, it's going to in a minute," Callen said pointedly as Kensi headed back in the direction of the car, Talia following.

"Yeah, we're toast," Kensi muttered as she got in the driver's seat of the Audi, Talia slipping in beside her. She unvelcroed her vest and threw it into the back seat before buckling her seatbelt.

"I'm not even NCIS," Talia said airily as she tugged off her borrowed vest and tossed it in the back seat. "She can't do anything to me."

"O-ho, that's where you would be wrong, girl," Kensi said as she pulled out into the street. "Hetty can do anything she sets her mind too, including spanking a DEA agent who just so happens to be working with her team on a case."

Talia thumped her head against the headrest of her seat.

"Wonderful. How am I going to explain this to the guys back at the office?" she muttered with a sigh.

"You'll figure something out," Kensi shot back. The rest of the ride to the boatshed was quiet. When they pulled up, Hetty wasn't there yet. The pair went inside, and Kensi rummaged through a cupboard for the first aid kit she knew was kept there.

She pulled it out and unzipped it, tossing a roll of gauze, some antiseptic wipes, and bandaids on the table.

"Take your shirt off. Let me look at your arm," Kensi said, and Talia did as asked, tossing her jacket on a chair and tugging her white long sleeve over her head. Kensi quickly wiped down the injury with a wipe, then, putting the gauze back in the kit, pulled out a large bandaid instead. "Just a little scrape," she said, and Talia tugged her shirt back on.

"I'll take a look at that cut," Talia said once she had redressed, gesturing at the bullet graze on Kensi's cheek.

"Oh, it's fine," Kensi murmured. "Just need a bandaid."

Talia nodded, ripping open another antiseptic wipe and cleaning up Kensi's cheek. She had just covered the abrasion with a bandaid when they two heard the door open and close, footsteps tapping down the hall. Kensi and Talia jumped to their feet.

"Miss Blye, I would've guessed you would've known the drill by now," she admonished, gesturing at the interrogation room.

"I do, Hetty, we were just cleaning up our injuries. I'm sorry," Kensi explained.

"You are injured?" Hetty asked, unaware they had been hurt.

"Just a couple scrapes, ma'am. We've already taken care of it," Talia answered.

"Very well. Follow me, please," Hetty replied, turning back towards the interrogation room.

"Don't you want Talia upstairs?" Kensi asked.

"No, both of you down here please," Hetty said, motioning to the main interrogation room. Kensi sighed and the girls followed the tiny woman into the room.

"What in the world got into you two today?! You disobeyed direct orders, Miss Blye, not for the first time, I might add, and you were nearly killed. That was a stupid, reckless thing to do! Had you waited for Callen and Sam to get into position, you would not have gotten hurt, and the whole operation would have gone so much smoother! Have you anything to say for yourselves?!" Hetty scolded fiercely as Kensi and Talia glanced down at their toes.

"I'm sorry, ma'am," Talia murmured.

"Sorry, Hetty," Kensi said, refusing to make eye contact, as she often did.

"Thank you," Hetty acknowledged curtly, before motioning to the table. "Miss Blye, you know the drill."

Kensi nodded, unable to hide the color that reddened her cheeks and ears as she unthreaded her belt and placed it on the table, then unbuttoned and pushed her jeans to her knees.

"Panties too. This was a serious offense."

Kensi sighed and blushed even more deeply. It's not like Talia hadn't seen her without clothes before, they'd changed next to each other after Alex Molina's awful party, but somehow, in this situation, it was just plain humiliating. She didn't have a choice, however, so she did as asked, sliding her grey cotton panties to join her jeans.

"Thank you. Over the table, please. Miss Del Campo, please go stand over there while I deal with Miss Blye." Hetty pointed to the far corner. It took all of Talia's self control to not run right out of that room and down the marina, but she did as asked. If Kensi could do this, so could she.

Hetty reached for Kensi's belt, doubling it in her hand, as Kensi placed her elbows on the table and took a breath. The first swat fell hard and the second followed quickly. Kensi hissed, but held in her cry, trying to remain stoic in front of Talia.

Talia jumped at the sound of the first swat, she hadn't been expecting it to be that loud. And judging by Kensi's hiss and stifled whimper, it hurt. A lot. She squeezed her eyes shut at the next swat, not wanting to watch.

Hetty kept up a rhythmic pace, covering the whole of her bottom until it was bright red and burning. She then went lower, to her thighs. The first smack to Kensi's thighs brought the cries, and after that, Kensi didn't care what she looked like in front of her friend. She was sobbing, tears streaming down her face and puddling on the table.

Talia scrunched up her face, wishing she were deaf and blind right about now. Kensi's crying, combined with the slap of a leather belt against bare skin, and the red hue that was quickly coloring Kensi's backside was almost enough for Talia to begin crying prematurely.

"Stop, Hetty, please," Kensi pleaded, using all her self control not to jump up from the table. Hetty said nothing, just landed another mighty smack against the back of Kensi's thighs. Kensi curled her hand into a fist, smacking it into the table as Hetty repeated the swat.

"Enough of that," Hetty said shortly, and Kensi uncurled her fist. Hetty continued to spank her without reprieve, until Kensi went limp over the table, knees nearly buckling.

"I'm sorry," she said brokenly. Hetty let the belt fall to the wooden floor with a clatter.

"I know," Hetty replied, tone almost sympathetic. She held her arms out, and Kensi leaned down into the hug. "Corner," Hetty murmured, and Kensi nodded, backing out of the embrace and shuffling to a corner of the room, not bothering to replace her clothing over her bright red, burning bottom, instead placing her hands on her head, resisting the urge to rub.

"Miss Del Campo! Over here please," Hetty beckoned, toeing Kensi's belt aside and waving a hand toward the table. Talia heaved a sigh, but did as asked, not really having a choice. "I'm going to need your belt," Hetty said. "And the jeans and underwear need to come down."

Talia's face flushed as she handed off her belt and dropped her clothing to her knees.

"Good. Now put your elbows on the table."

Talia sighed and did as asked, and her punishment began. Hetty was relentless with that belt, striking fast and hard. Talia was holding in whimpers by the 6th swat, and full out crying by the 12th. She hadn't realized how much this would hurt.

Kensi held her breath, whole body tense as she witnessed Talia's punishment. Even considering that it was Talia's first offense with Hetty, the tiny woman was not relenting at all, giving her the very same treatment she had given Kensi.

Hetty continued to cover her whole bottom with swats until it was bright red, stinging more than Talia ever thought a spanking could. Then, evidently happy with the color of her bottom, Hetty aimed the belt lower, down to her sit spots and thighs.

Talia shot upright as Hetty landed the first hard smack across her thighs.

"Hetty, please!" Talia pleaded, bouncing on her toes.

"We are almost finished, Miss Del Campo. Go back over, please. If you get up again, you'll be getting more," Hetty said sternly, gesturing with the belt. Talia shuddered, but bent back over. Hetty placed a hand on her back and delivered 5 more strokes to her burning backside before letting her back up.

"All over, Miss Del Campo," Hetty said, dropping her belt to the floor beside Kensi's. She gave Talia a quick hug, rubbing her back once or twice. "Now I am going back to work, you two go home."

And with that, Hetty disappeared.

Talia tugged her pants up and buttoned them with a groan.

"Holy crap, that hurt," Talia muttered as Kensi turned around and righted her clothing.

"Yeah, and that's my boss," Kensi said pointedly.

"I am still terrified of her," Talia said, wiping her nose on her sleeve. She bent to retrieve the belts from the floor, whimpering at the pain. "I am not going to be sitting for a looong time."

"Me either," Kensi said with a groan, taking her belt from Talia and walking stiffly to the door. "Hey, you wanna come over, tonight?" Kensi offered as she went to the table in the main room, cleaning up the first aid supplies from earlier. "I've got a whole freezer full of ice packs and ice cream," she offered.

"You know, that would be great," Talia replied with a small smile. "I don't really want to be alone tonight."

Kensi nodded and smiled. "Great." She walked out on the dock, raising her arm and hurling her belt into the water. "I'm running out of belts," she murmured ruefully. Talia wasn't going to be that dramatic. She threaded her belt back through its loops.

"This happen often?" Talia asked, cocking her eyebrow.

"More often than you'd think," Kensi replied, blushing. They headed outside and got in the car, enduring the quick, painful ride home, in silence. Upon heading inside, Monty greeted them with a wagging tail. Kensi bent down to pet him for a moment.

"Hey buddy," Kensi murmured. "You have a good day?" Monty licked her cheeks clean of the salty dried tears. "Yeah, I know, I've been crying, I know," she said to the dog as he kissed her nose. Kensi scratched him behind the ears, then stood back up.

"You have a dog?" Talia asked as they headed upstairs.

"Correction. Deeks has a dog."

"Ah, package deal, eh?" Talia asked with a smirk.

"Yep," Kensi replied with a rueful eye roll. They reached the top of the stairs, and Kensi directed Talia to the guest bed and bath. The two girls quickly scrubbed tear tracks from their faces, showered, and changed.

Kensi offered Talia a pair of her softest cotton pajamas, which she took gratefully. The pair changed into pajamas, then spent a few minutes comparing their red bottoms in the mirror.

"You have got to be kidding me," Talia muttered. "That's going to be one big bruise by tomorrow," Talia said, tugging her borrowed shorts back up to her waist.

"Yeah, expect to be sore for at least two days," Kensi replied as she pulled up her shorts as well.

"Wonderful."

The two girls went back downstairs, settling down with ice packs and ice cream, lying on their stomachs in front of the TV. Monty curled up between them, tongue occasionally snaking out to lick at a drip of ice cream on their cheeks or chins.

Kensi and Talia chatted and watched stupid reality shows late into the night before finally heading to bed. Kensi set Talia up in the guest bedroom with a fresh ice pack and a couple Tylenol before heading to her bed, lying on her tummy with her own new ice pack.

Kensi was half asleep when Deeks got home later that night. Monty was curled up near her feet, chin resting on her calf. He raised his head, and thumped his tail against the bed happily when Deeks entered the bedroom. Deeks scratched behind his ears before turning his focus to Kensi, finding her lying on her stomach with a melted ice pack resting on her bum. He snapped on the bedside lamp, dim light illuminating the room.

"Oh, baby, again?" Deeks asked, crawling onto the mattress beside her. Kensi picked up her head, glancing at him without a word. "What did you do this time?"

"I don't wanna talk about it," Kensi muttered, burying her face in her arms.

"Alright, alright." Deeks rubbed a hand up and down her back. "Who's in the guest bedroom? Door's closed."

"Talia," Kensi replied tiredly, closing her eyes. "I worked with her today."

"Wait, did Hetty...?"

"Yep," Kensi replied, popping the 'p'.

"Wait, she can do that?" Deeks asked in disbelief, mouth hanging open. Kensi gave him a look raising an eyebrow. "Yeah, you're right, Hetty can do whatever she wants," Deeks replied. "What happened here?" Deeks asked, trailing a finger over the bandaid on her cheek.

"It's just a scrape. Nothing serious, I promise," Kensi replied, deciding to leave out the very small, unimportant detail that was that the scrape on her cheek had been caused by a bullet.

"Okay. You need anything?" Deeks asked, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Maybe another ice pack?" she asked hopefully with a smile. "Talia might need one too."

"Yeah, you got it," Deeks replied, sliding backwards off the bed and slipping out the door. He went downstairs and opened the freezer, retrieving two fresh ice packs, wrapping them in towels before heading back upstairs. He cracked open Talia's door, peeking in at her. She was asleep, on her stomach, a melted icepack resting on the bed beside her hip.

Gently he rested the new one on top of her thighs before slipping back out, closing the door behind him.

"Does it hurt?" he asked as he entered his bedroom again, passing the new icepack to Kensi.

"Are you kidding me?" Kensi asked. "It burns."

"I'm sorry," Deeks murmured sympathetically as he quickly shucked his jeans and slid into bed beside her. "Maybe you should try behaving once in a while."

Kensi snorted.

"C'mere," Deeks murmured, tugging Kensi into his arms, kissing her forehead. Kensi sighed in bliss, balancing on her hip to avoid any other pain. She fell asleep, cradled in Deeks' arms.
