"The biggest change can come from the most unexpected individual. With the audience at your fingertips, all you need is a little push."

After settling into the Mythos Hearts guild, Ethox felt amazing, even after a week or so, he STILL was excited.

"I'm in my brother's guild…" Ethox giggled to himself as he practically vibrated in place at a table. "I'm in my brother's guild!"

"You've been saying that for the past week, are you okay?" Aqua asked.

"Leave him be for now, Aqua." Mirror Match said. "It's just the excitement talking. He'll stop after… another week, I believe."

"Another week?! I can't take another day of this!" Kazuma gritted his teeth. "Yo, Theo! Tell your brother to calm down, huh?"

"He's not here." Ultra said. "He said that he was going to check up on Mizuki, make sure he was settling into his village."

"Damn it…" Kazuma sighed. "So we have to put up with this until he gets back. Great, just great."

"Not if we can get him on a job." Legolia said.

"So, what would clear his mind, eh, Long ears?" Gimlior asked.

"I… have no clue." Legolia said.

"I might have one." Tanya said, poking her head up on the table before grunting as she pulled up a stack of papers and files before slamming them down on the table.

"What's all this, Major?" Visha asked.

"The job." Tanya said. "I've been looking into other locations for any sign of my old friend Being X, and this particular posting caught my attention. Listen to this: our city is in the iron grip of the massive record label industry NSR. They've banned rock in favor of EDM, and stolen all the city's power. Help us take down this EDM empire."

"Wait, back up." Kazuma said. "What's a record label have to do with Being X?"

"I read on." Tanya answered. "We'd do it ourselves, but the artists working for NSR seem to have gotten some strange magic that makes them more powerful. We'll pay once NSR is taken down." she read, finishing the record. "Strange magic… does that sound familiar to you?"

"Sounds like Being X." Goblin Slayer said.

"So what? Is this false god taking up a side business in producing music?" Seiya asked.

"I believe Being X is trying to create conflict in places other than Tanya's dimension, Mr. Seiya." Necroapache said. "And he has granted his power to these artists to do so."

"Hey, what's EDM exactly?" Megumin asked.

"It's an acronym for Electronic Dance Music. Apparently this NSR company has taken complete control over a local town called Vinyl City. It's in the Idol Universe." Tanya mentioned.

"Really? I thought the Idol Universe only housed guys like DJ and his family." Kazuma noted.

"That's not true." DJ said. "The Idol Universe brings out the fullest in all sorts of entertainment. TV Shows, Movies, Music, you name the entertainment, it's got it. My family was just part of the darker side of the universe."

"This job does seem legit. Maybe we should take it. Besides, sticking it to Being X will be so satisfying." Legolia said.

"They'd better be paying us bigtime for this." Seiya said.

"C'mon Ethox! We got a job to do!" Rista motivated.

"A job!" Ethox said as he jumped up. "We have our first job!" he cheered as he dashed out of the guild hall.

"Well, he's excited." DJ chuckled as the group followed the Nobody.

The Fatebreakers arrived in Vinyl City, which was a sight to behold. Everything was lit up at night, with a tower in the center of the city with the initials NSR on it as they saw it was split into five districts each with a different music theme.

"Wow. This place is a literal cultural melting pot of music." Ultra said.

"You can say that again." Kazuma said.

"Despite its charms, this city does have some dark places to it. Some of the lower districts in town suffer from rolling blackouts, all due to the five EDM artists in each of the other districts." Tanya said. "And it's all controlled by one woman. NSR's CEO, Tatiana Qwartz."

"You think she's the one being manipulated by Being X to do all this stuff to the city?" Ethox asked.

"More than likely." Tanya said. "Fortunately, we already know how we can fix that. All you have to do is get close enough to run her through with your Keyblade and unleash Being X. Then we defeat the resulting Heartless."

"Well… yeah, but she'll be put in a coma, won't she?" Ethox asked. "Just like…"

"We all must make sacrifices for progress." Tanya said.

"So, how are we even gonna get to her? She's holed up in that tower of hers, right?" Kazuma asked.

"Easy! I blast the tower to bits with my explosion magic!" Megumin said.

"That's too dangerous!" Rista replied.

"I think there might be a less destructive way." Gimilor siad. "Perhaps we can attack one of the artists in the city and light a spark?"

"Great idea, Gimilor!" Ethox said. "But the question is, which one should we go for first?"

"How about we go to the building with the large telescope sticking out of it?" Aqua asked, pointing to the large dome-like structure with NSRs logo on it.

"Hmm...according to the brochure, that's Club Planetarium, in the Cast Tech district." Tanya said.

"It looks pretty active. I think that's where the Artist is putting on their show." Ethox said. "So let's go!"

The group headed towards the building and when they got there, they could hear beats of drums and guitar swinging, mixing with the sounds of EDM and… disco, oddly enough.

"Hmm, this modern music of your era seems very interesting." Necroapache listened. "I must admit that it will take some getting used to, however."

"Eh, you're entitled to your own opinions, big guy." DJ said. "Although… I could've sworn the job posting said rock was banned here."

"It did." Ethox said. "Unless… the ones playing the rock must be our employers!"

"I'm not sure that's it…" Viktoriya said.

"So, how are we gonna get in? It's not like they're gonna let outsiders inside the club." Koenig said.

"Hmm…." Ethox said before looking up at the telescope. "I know what we're gonna do. We're gonna sneak in through the roof. Like Ninja!"

And so the group climbed up and headed into Club Planetarium through the roof, ready to rumble.

Inside the nightclub, the music was playing more broadly as Disco balls revolved around the top of the dome like planets. The group was able to sneak in through the top and make their way down as they laid their eyes down on the dance floor to see their target.

"Billions upon billions of organisms reside on this tiny planet." came a voice in the center of the dance floor, reclining in a relaxing chair. "Each meticulously designed to fulfill their given purpose. Yet...you barely reach the cusp of mediocrity. You can't even handle a simple satellite launch procedure!"

The one speaking was a rather burly shaped man with a modern, futuristically shaped appearance. He wore a three-toned blue hoodie with the hood up, which had the solar system embedded into an animation, and glowed white on the inside. On top of the hood, he had blue headphones. His hands are covered by dark-blue gloves, with a white glowing line going down the middle- and ring finger on his left glove. On the bottom half of his body, he wore blue board shorts and light-blue sneakers. He was talking on the phone to someone about a satellite, or at least he was, until he angrily threw his phone away.

"Such incompetence. It's not rocket science...I mean it is but-" the figure said about to eat a popsicle before pulling his head back. "Can someone fetch me some fresh Mr. Dodo Ice Pops?! This one's all melted!" he said, tossing it away. "Great, what else could possibly go wrong today?"

"AAAAH!" Aqua screamed as she slipped from the roof and crashed down on the dance floor.

"Haiyah!" A female voice said at the same time, kicking the doors open.

"Ah!" the figure screamed before turning his chair to see the source.

The Fatebreakers all descended from the top of the dome and gathered up around Aqua.

"Nice going, Aqua." Kazuma said sarcastically.

"Hey, my fingers slipped, okay?!" Aqua protested.

"Gonna take a shot in the dark here." Legolia said, looking at the figure. "But I think that guy's the artist."

"Yup, definitely." Ethox said, clearing his throat. "Attention, artist of NSR! We are here to-hey!" he started before the girl barging in from the front door pushed him aside.

She had fairly orange skin and magenta eyes with flower-shaped pupils, and pale yellow hair with three small pigtails and braided side bangs. She wore a sleeveless red dress with a dark red underlayer, black knee-length shorts, a black fingerless glove located on her left hand, black shoes with the toes and heels cut out and purple trim, two armbands on her left arm, and a black choker on her neck. Slung around her shoulders was an electric guitar with eyes painted on it.

Accompanying her was a young man with green skin, orange eyes and long blue hair with turquoise ends. It is usually let down, while his sideburns extend down his chin in the shape of facial hair. His clothing consisted of a bright green (presumably short-sleeved) shirt that shows part of his chest near the top, a thin black necklace with a gold pendant, ankle-length teal pants with light blue patterns, purple loafers with white soles and an open black jacket with three gold buttons. He also wears a black glove on his right hand, in contrast to the girl, and was carrying two drumsticks in his hand.

"What are you NSR people doing?!" the girl asked. "We're not getting enough electricity, and all you guys do is party!"

"Who are these people? Have they purchased the Privilege Pass to converse with me?" The DJ asked.

"Haah? You don't remember us?" The girl asked. "Bunk Bed Junction, that's who we are! And we're here to stop NSR from controlling everything! The people of Vinyl City deserve to know what rock is about!"

"And we're the Fatebreakers! We're here representing the Mythos Hearts Guild, and we're also here to stop you NSR guys from dominating this city!" Ethox added from behind the girl.

"Rock and a guild? Fascinating. Hmm. That is fascinating-your limited aspirations, your misplaced efforts. You remind me of...Pluto! Once thought to be a planet of the solar system but no longer is."

"What?! Pluto? ...Zuke, what he said was bad, right?" the girl asked.

"Well being a dwarf planet is not necessarily a bad-" The man known as Zuke started.

"How DARE you compare me to Pluto!" Aqua interrupted Zuke. "I am a GODDESS! Who are you to say people like us are inferior? I should-!"

The figure waved a finger at Aqua, tsking her to silence. "Your intellect is strikengling shallow, as everyone else's is. What I'm saying is, is that you Plutonians are no longer relevant."

"Say whaaat? So you think your music is so relevant lah issit?!" the girl said.

"Don't you know who I am?" the figure asked as the music changed.

(Cue- vs. DJ Subatomic Supernova- No Straight Roads)

"I… am! DJ Subatomic Supernova!" the figure introduced himself dramatically as he posed. "My music will reach the furthest corners of the galaxy." he continued as his chair revolved around to his turntables. "What have you done today? Simpletons!" he declared before he started dancing in place.

DJ SUBATOMIC SUPERNOVA

Self-Absorbed Celestial Disk Jockey

"So, he's a DJ, huh?" Seiya said. "Well, since we're on a circular stage, I bet he's going to start throwing things at us from the sides."

"Yeah, good thinking, Seiya." Ethox said before he turned to the two rockers. "Hi, I'm Ethox! We'll talk later, but for now, just know that we're on your side!"

"Alright, cool." Zuke said. "I'm Zuke, this is Mayday."

"Nice to meetcha! Now let's rock-a-tok!" Mayday said.

Disco balls then spawned on the stage, revolving around the dance floor as DJ Subatomic Supernova played his music. He then began to scratch the records, indicating he was gearing up for an attack.

"Watch, he's gonna fire something from that booth of his." Seiya said.

Supernova then flicked his wrist to the side, and suddenly the disco balls suddenly sped up and shot around the rings, almost hitting the group.

"Well, look who's wrong!" Kazuma said.

"I see, so he's attacking us from on the stage with the disco balls." Legolia said. "Watch for when he gears up an attack, and the zones where the balls are!"

"Gotcha!" Nemo said, jumping out of the way of a speeding disco projectile. "Ha! This ain't nothin!"

"Hmm… perhaps this could turn to our advantage…?" Molotok wondered as he stopped where an attack was being set up. When the ball started speeding, the Beastman stretched out his hands and allowed the disco ball to make contact. He was pushed back, but managed to take hold of the ball and, with a grunt of exertion, throw it at Supernova. It smashed against him, releasing a bunch of musical notes.

"Hey, rockstars! Can ya use those notes for somethin'?" Nemo called.

"You bet we can!" Mayday said as the notes turned orange and green respectively. "Pew! Pew! Pew!" she called as the notes fired as small homing beams.

Legolia then fired a bomb arrow directly into his booth, which detonated as the entire thing got destroyed.

"Urgh!" DJ Subatomic Supernova grunted.

"Hah! Hope that equipment wasn't expensive, sucker!" Nemo taunted.

"NSR's dominance over Vinyl City ends today!" Mayday declared.

"NSR? Maybe. My music? Highly unlikely." DJ SSN said as the dome shifted to above the clouds as the moon shined. "For my music will ripple to the rims of the universe and back!" he said as he became gigantic.

"...Okay, so he can do that, I guess." Ultra deadpanned. "Alright, time for some firepower! Celesteela, Flash Cannon!" he said, calling out the Ultra Beast, who fired the attack at the DJ.

Despite the loss of his mixer, Subatomic Supernova wasn't hindered. In fact, he kept playing his music as if nothing bad ever happened. From the new perspective, it was like he was playing the beat of his sweet track in the solar system, with the outer planets acting as his weapons as he jockeyed to the beat. As for the Flash Cannon, the DJ brought up a makeshift shield of asteroids that took the attack.

"He's too big to attack directly, we have to attack from a distance!" Legolia said.

"Hm?" Mayday said, noticing an NSR Metronome nearby. "I got an idea." she said, running to it before she began playing her guitar as the Metronome morphed into a rocket and blasted off at Supernova, damaging him.

"A idée brillante, mon cher!" Le Kraken cheered. "Now it is time for our turn!"

"Dust this punk!" Nemo said as all the ranged fighters fired at Supernova, peppering him.

Eventually, Legolia was able to fire an arrow square in the center of Supernovas face, actually cracking the sphere that made up his head a bit.

"Impossible… Impossible! Impossible! Impossible!" DJ Subatomic said.

"Just surrender, DJ Broken Record!" Mayday said.

"There's no shame in giving up." Mirror Match said. "Besides, we think you may be under the influence of-"

"Silence! You have barely, barely scratched the surface of my brilliance! I am done stooping to your level of idiocy!" DJ Subatomic said.

"Hey, come on, man. I understand perfectly what you're trying to do…" Zuke said as Subatomic Super pressed his left finger onto his right palm as the earth was inside it. At that instant, an even LARGER hand touched the top of Supernovas head as it caused a cosmic ripple.

After a flash of light, the scenery changed again to make it look like everyone was inside an entire Galaxy. Supernova had altered his appearance to have his arms long and stretchy, and his head sphere was now glowing yellow.

"Or maybe not." Zuke said.

"Hey, what's up with his head?" Mayday asked.

"He's now using Being X's power. But he didn't have to pray to that bastard to invoke it." Tanya said. "Peculiar…"

Now empowered with Being X's blessed energy, DJ Subatomic Supernova's attacks were more powerful than ever. He could now have the planets move at different angles to attack. Not only that, he also employed a laxer made from a neutron star to attack, as well as lashing out with his elongated hands.

"Now this is just ridiculous!" Kazuma shouted as he ducked away from an overhead smash.

"Just keep attacking him, we're getting close to beating him!" Ethox said.

"How about this?!" Mayday said, twirling her guitar before tossing it as it acted like a boomerang and hitting DJ Subatomic Supernova in the head before returning.

"Tanya! Shoot his head, I think that orb is his weak point!" Legolia called.

"Accounted for!" Tanya said as she took aim and, with a prayer, fired a piercing spell straight at DJ Subatomic Supernova's eyes orb.

"Your endeavors mean nothing when a billion stars and thousands upon thousands of planets- Yeargh! Gah!" Supernova said as his orb cracked again and turned into a black hole.

"Whoa, JESUS!" Ethox said as everyone screamed as they held on, parrying incoming planets at Supernova. "Guys! We're in trouble!"

"Gee, ya THINK?!" Kazuma asked.

"There's only one way to end this!" Zuke said.

"Right you are Zuke!" Mayday said. "Red Light!" she said holding a fist up.

"Green Light!" Zuke said, pounding down on it as Mayday swapped out a canister on her guitar with a different one as it spun to show an angry face on it. Zuke was right behind her as he tapped his drumsticks in a three count.

"Bunka! Junka! Shakalaka-BAM!" The pair called out firing a blast at Subatomic Supernova engulfing him in a bright light as a record showing him appeared before the art cover changed to show Mayday slam dunking Supernova's head as Zuke and the Fatebreakers cheered her on.

(Cue: No Straight Roads Stage Clear Music)

DJ Subatomic Supernova

His Star power shines from the depths of space no more! RETIRED!

"But millions and billiiiions and trilliooooooons…!" Subatomic Supernova cried as he was star KOed.

"And Pluto is still relevant! You hear me?!" Mayday yelled. "What's a Pluto anyway?" she asked as the monitor behind them turned on to show a woman with red tipped white hair in white clothing appeared.

"DJ Subatomic Supernova, come in! What is going on down there?!" she asked.

"Sorry, but your DJ's Nightclub is sadly outta service." Seiya said.

"Would you like to leave a message?" Mayday asked.

"What?! Who do you guys think...hold on… I remember you. You're those troublemakers from the Lights Up Audition!" she said to Mayday and Zuke.

"With some new friends." Ethox said. "I take it you must be the head lady in charge, Tatiana Qwartz, right? Glad to know we got your attention. We're the Fatebreakers, and together with Bunk Bed Junction, we're gonna free the city from your tyranny!"

"And bring back rock!" Mayday added.

"You can't be serious." Tatiana said.

"You better belieeeve it! We're not stopping till we claim our fame!" Mayday said.

"And bring change to the system." Zuke added.

"That too." Mayday said.

"You can give a little message to that Bastard Being X, too." Tanya said. "Tell him his days controlling this city from the shadows are numbered."

"Who are you talking abou- nevermind, actually. I have no idea who or what you're talking about, but if you want to take this road with these two troublemakers, I say bring it on! We have the force to deal with the likes of you! We fight with ORDER! And you have no place in our system." Tatiana said.

"If that's what you stand for, then we want no part of your stupid regiment! It's time we fight for fairness! For the people of Vinyl City! We fight for THE LITTLE GUYS!" Mayday said, holding her left pinky up. "...Zuke, come here! Put your hand next to mine!"

"Huh? Oh, okay." Zuke said, grabbing her wrist with his right hand.

"What are you doing...just hold up your pinky finger." Mayday said.

"Oh, like this?" Zuke asked, holding his pinky out.

"Now put your hand next to mine." Mayday said as Zuke put it behind her hand. "No! The other side. A bit more to the right. Noooo! My right!" she said as Zuke moved his hand away from hers.

"But I was moving to your right." Zuke said.

"No, you, just! Ugh never mind, move left!" Mayday said.

"Like this?" Zuke asked, moving his pinky closer to hers.

"More! Left-left-left-left-left- YEAH!" Mayday said as their pinkies now stood next to each other as they looked up at Tatiana. "FOR THE LITTLE GUYS!"

"Yeah, for the little guy!" Exthox cheered, joining in on the sign.

"Well, this should be… interesting." Ristarte shrugged.
