Judy was in pursuit! As she hopped down the street after her target, she realized this was going to be a hard chase, because the suspect was another bunny, just as fast on her feet as Judy was.
But finally, Judy cornered her, at the end of an alley. There was only one door, but before the other bunny could escape through it, Nick Wilde stepped out, shades covering his eyes and all. He removed them and looked at the suspect.
"Hello sweetheart, thought you could get away?"
Before Nick could react, the bunny pulled a knife on him. Acting on reflex, Judy immediately withdrew her taser gun. She tried never to use it, but Nick's life was in danger.
"Drop your weapon!" Judy commanded.
The other rabbit turned to face her, her face covered in tattoos. "Or what?"
"Or I fire," Judy said, fingers shaking on the trigger.
The rabbit just chuckled, and turned back toward Nick. Taking the knife, she prepared to strike.
Judy pulled the trigger.
In an instant, the other bunny was out of the way, leaping up toward the fire escapes.
Judy was stunned, the taser still continuing it's trajectory, unable to be retracted.
Hitting Nick. Right in the- Judy gasped, unable to finish the thought. All she knew is that she couldn't have hit him anywhere worse.
Nick gave a cry, crumpling to his knees, his ears folded back on his head, his face scrunched up in agony.
"Nick, I'm sorry, I didn't mean-"
"After her!" Nick struggled out through his pain.
Judy, not knowing what else to say, nodded. Dropping the taser, she hopped up after the suspect, up the fire escape. As she made her way up, she couldn't help but blush. Poor Nick Wilde, how vulnerable her adorable sly fox comrade could be at times.
Back in the alley, Nick collapsed onto his side with a groan, still tingling from the electricity. How easily he was removed from the chase if one knew what to do. He knew Judy would be alright. Of course she wouldn't be brought down like this.
Once again Nick groaned as he curled into a ball in the alley. Gosh this hurt.
