The young civet awoke with a happy smile upon his face. Letting out a huge yawn, he stretched, making sure to get out all the kinks out of his joints. Looking up, he greeted the day with a happy smile.

"Looks like it's going to be a great day!" the civet declared.

And he certainly knew it would be. First off he gathered some berries for breakfast, then he went about greeting everyone he met. Soon as he was done, he went to the river to freshen himself up. He splashed the water upon his fur, and then just let himself enjoy it all.

"Tompok!"

The civet looked to see a gibbon coming towards him.

"Seisou! How's it going!" Tompok greeted.

The gibbon smiled as he noted the civet's demeanor, "Well you're certainly in a good mood."

"Well why wouldn't I be? Ever since Mama Binturong and her porcupines left, we haven't had anything to fear."

It indeed had been some time since the elderly binturong mob boss had left the forest, her porcupine minions following soon after. Since then, no one had seen hide nor hair of them. Without her they could do what they wanted. Go wherever they wanted, eat whatever they wanted, and of course, that most sacred of plants was no free.

"Why I can even say...tuliza!" The two animals waited for anything to happen, but after saying the word, nothing did. Tompok let out a little laugh, "See? I just said it!" Raising his head high, he called out, "Tuliza! Tuulliizaa! TULIZA!" He laughed again.

Freedom was theirs now. Nothing but happy days ahead for them. Least until Tompok picked something up. It was faint, but it felt as if a great thudding sound. It was growing louder, and the civet could swear the ground was shaking.

"What's that noise?" Seisou asked.

The sound was growing louder, and before Tompok could answer, the sound of several screaming animals came barging through.

"Run for your lives!" A bird cried as she flapped furiously.

Suddenly, the trees splintered apart, falling down like dominoes. Tompok and Seisou gazed up in horror at what was coming their way. Several giants stomped their way towards the pair, high up and bodies devoid of skin. They marched without feeling, or even emotion from what they could tell in their faces.

All Tompok could do was gaze up in horror and cry, "RUN!"

Tompok and Seisou both took off into sprints. The more they ran though, the more it seemed the giants were getting closer. As Tompok ran, he tripped and tumbled.

Stopping for a moment to help his friend, Seisou urged, "Come on! We have to get moving!"

Yet it was too late. Tompok's tumble only served to allow the giants to move in closer. The two animals could only look on in horror as the foot came crashing down, silencing the screams they were giving.

The titans marched on, trampling everything they saw, not caring whom or what they crushed. Though the animal residents didn't understand why this was happening, the one thing that was clear to anyone who knew the truth behind this, was that the Rumbling was occurring.

Through Eren Yeager's will, the titans would flatten the Earth.
