Miraculous: Silent
Emma Agreste was mute. Her voice box was damaged before or during delivery. She could not talk. She had a secret. She was a superhero, a miraculous holder, the famous Catbug. She was different though. Different. And she hated it.
It was a normal day for Emma. As she was walking to school, she noticed an old man standing on the sidewalk. He had dropped his groceries. Emma rushed over to help, seeing that no one else had noticed. The man smiled and thanked her. She smiled, but thought nothing of it. To her, it was just a small favor for someone in need. She quickly jogged into the school. Once she had left, the old man smiled and pulled out a small black box with a familiar red design.
~Chapter 1~
Emma walked nonchalantly into the classroom and sat in an empty seat. A minute later, a girl with dark blue hair ran in and sat next to her. "Hi!" she said. "My name is Niji! Niji Couffaine!" "I'm Emma. Emma answered using sign language. Luckily, Niji understood. "Nice to meet you Emma!" Suddenly, the bell rang. Class had begun. The teacher walked in and introduced herself. "I'm Mrs. Lavigne." she said cheerily.
After Class (cuz im lazy)
Emma walked back home. Her mom handed her a few cookies. She thanked her mom in sign language, gave her dad and little brother a hug, and walked up to her room to do homework. Emma sat down, but something caught her attention. A small black box with a red design sitting on the table. Confused, she opened it. Almost immediately, a glowing ball of red and green light burst out. It faded to reveal a small red creature with black spots and cat ears. It didn't seem very harmful or scary, so Emma wasn't scared. Shocked would be more like it. "Hi!" shouted the small creature. Emma made some hand motions. (Who are you?) "I'm Popi, a kwami! I grant powers!" the small creature answered. More hand motions. (How?) "Well, I'm the daughter of Tikki and Plagg; Ladybug and Chat Noir's kwamis. I grant the power of harmony. All you have to say is Popi, spots out."
