Legend talks about the legendary golden Hesperide Bananas.

An legendary son of Meus, the legendary Wercules, once had the legendary task to retrieve a legendary banana from the garden of Dusk.

Keen to obtain legendary immortal status as his reward, he crept inside the doors just as the legendary chariot of Ape-ollo drove off into the west.

Legendary flowers adorned each side of the legendary field. There were legendary roses, golden and silver and peachy, and legendary hyacinths, cobalt and violet and grapish, and legendary lilies, marble white and iron red and sky yellow. Wercules took a deep inhale, and breathed in some pollen.

His nose twitched, and he sneezed stealthily.

A legendarily-rich growl alerted Wercules to a dragon coiled around a legendary maple tree, on whose boughs rested legendary shiny gilded fruit.

"You'll never get past him. Not without my help," a legendarily-sweat sing-song tinkle-tink voice trilled.

Wercules twirled around and whipped out his most important and deadliest legendary weapon. He pirouetted toward the voice, and landed on his feet. He brandished the rose, a beautiful yellow flower atop a legendarily strong stem, on which legendarily sharp thorns spiked with mouse venom stood out, like snails on a legendary wall.

"I will give you help," the voice spoke. A Hesperide stood before him, one of the guardians of the legendary fruit tree.

"Why would you help me?" Wercules asked suspiciously.

She raised her eyebrows. "I am interested in tales people have told. I wonder if they have exaggerated your physical capabilities."

Wercules drew up to his full height, taking great offense. He stood on his toes for emphasis.

"I can accomplish anything! Test me!" he commanded.

The Hesperide said nothing, but removed a gilded banana from the inside of her robes. "This is a golden banana," she said.

Wercules stared at it. "I could see that."

The ground started to rumble. Large pebbles and tiny boulder shuddered and quaked on the ground.

The Hesperide's leafy eyes glared. "This banana," she continued, "will rapidly poison the person who eats it. The only cure is to take a golden apple, and consume it before the legendary banana dissolves your stomach. If you can eat the banana and heal yourself, I will cure you of any wound obtained from my dragon."

Wercules couldn't refuse a challence. "Easier done than said," he chanted. He took the poisonous fruit from her, and began to peel it. He opened his mouth wide, and dramatically took a legendarily big bite of the banana.

He disappeared in a puff of smoke.

The Hesperide sighed. "Why does nobody ever understand that the more of the banana you eat, the faster the poison spreads through your innards?"
