So this is finally Part 2 of my 'Buffyverse Calendiles AU', and this time it's a wedding between them, and its set between Seasons 4 and 5. And Riley won't be showing up to the wedding, because screw him.

And while Dawn didn't exactly exist before 5x1's end, she'll still make it to the wedding, because her presence is sorely missed by me in the first 4 Seasons.

Oh! And Team Angel is invited too, Angel included, because Jenny never died in this.

The wedding of Rupert Giles and Jenny Calendar was quite the eventful affair for sure. The wedding was taking place in an open area, at night, under the stars.

Obviously, Buffy Summers, the Slayer, was the usher at the place.

"Oh, hi Angel", Buffy said as she saw Angel, Cordelia and Wesley arrive at the place, and she and her ex hugged, the issue with Faith now behind them as they also kissed each other on the cheek.

"Hey Buffy", Cordelia greeted as she and Buffy hugged and kissed each other on the cheek too.

"Cordy", Buffy smiled, before she held out her hand to Wesley and he shook it.

"Pleased to be here", Wesley told her.

"Uhh, Buffy", Angel said to her as she looked at him. "Outside of me, you weren't inviting any Demons, right?"

"Well, there is Anya, but she is an ex-Demon", Buffy shrugged.

"Might wanna look into that then", Cordelia said, pointing at where Angel was looking, and Wesley too, as Buffy turned to see a horned Demon walking to where Giles and Jenny were.

"Oh crap!" Buffy said as she rushed to it. "Coming through! Coming through!"

The Demon was taking out a knife when Buffy tackled it to the ground and snapped its neck, everyone gasping a little, though everyone who had been invited here were aware of the supernatural, so the shock was more because a Demon had been able to come in.

"How did that come in, Buffy?" Giles asked her.

"I have no idea, I didn't see him coming", Buffy shook her head.

"It's not Buffy's fault", Tara said as she and Willow arrived, hand-in-hand. "We saw him change from a human into this."

"Think he was using a glamour which wore out in time", Willow explained and they all sighed in relief.

"Well, thank you for saving us", Jenny said before she gestured at someone to take away the Demon's body.

Buffy then saw her mom coming in, and both she and Dawn walked to hug her. "Hey, mom."

"Oh, my little girls", Joyce greeted, kissing them both on the foreheads as she asked Buffy. "So, how's your plus one treating you?"

"No incident so far", Buffy chuckled as she patted the head of her plus one aka Dawn, who pouted. "It's all great."

"Maybe you can say 'thank you Dawn, for coming with me, because my boyfriend was too busy to make it'", Dawn told her with folded arms.

Buffy sighed, and said. "Thank you Dawn, for coming with me, because my boyfriend was too busy to make it."

The three Summers women chuckled before Joyce walked in to mingle.

"Oh, hey Anya!" Cordelia greeted as she saw Anya taking part in the festivities.

"Cordelia, hi", Anya greeted, a little weirdly. "So, how are you in the City of Angels?"

"Okay, first of all, we don't call it that in conversation, and it's getting better", Cordelia shrugged. "Heard you started dating Xander."

"Yeah, I did", Anya nodded, and at the same time, Xander was behind them, unnoticed by either of them.

"How is he? I mean, I've forgiven him but he cheated on me", Cordelia told Anya.

"Yeah, I'd know about that, talking about that is how we met, isn't it?" Anya reminded and Cordelia nodded, Xander looking between them both, sweat dripping down his face.

"Oh yeah, that was how we met", Cordelia nodded. "So, not doing that anymore, right?"

"If he did, I'll crush his balls with a rusty flail", Anya said as both women laughed while Xander gulped behind them.

"Yeah, should have done that", Cordelia nodded as Xander sighed.

"Actually, wait, I think I should think of some other punishment, because he's like a Viking in the sack", Anya told Cordelia, whose eyes were wide, while Xander was blushing red behind them both.

"Really? That good?" Cordelia asked. "Never thought he had it in him."

"Oh, men show you their true beasts when you bed them, and he knows how to use it to please real well", Anya winked.

"Huh? Guess we could have boinked once before then", Cordelia said thoughtfully.

"And I can always put a collar and leash on him, then I would own him", Anya said as both laughed and Cordelia raised her hand for a high-five, which Anya gave, as she knew what it was.

"What's the matter with you?" Buffy asked as she walked next to Xander, noticing his expression.

"My worst nightmare has come true", Xander said as he walked off with a groan, Cordelia and Anya still talking.

Later

It was time for the main event, and all sat down as Giles and Jenny looked at each other, the priest nearby saying. "So, vows?"

Giles took a deep breath and spoke first. "Janna, I am a learned man, surrounded by books, culture, and sophistication most of my life. I know a thousand different words that all have the same meaning, but these next words mean more than all of them together. I love you. The day you said yes is without a doubt the happiest I've ever been in my whole life. You infuriated me the day we first met, you and those unholy machines of yours, but I could never be more thankful for their existence, because they brought you into my life, and not a day has gone by where I regretted it. I promise, from this day until my last, that I will honor you, cherish you, and protect you with all I have, always and forever."

Everyone had to chuckle at the 'machine' bit, though it was all quite beautiful for sure.

So, it was Jenny's turn now, and with a deep breath of her own, she spoke as well. "Rupert, I have been taught to value family, and its traditions, for most of my life. And I still do. Family, is who are there for you, and who love you. Family is you. And I love you. Now while some of your regressive thinking infuriates me, it is a gift too, because things like these make us talk more, make us love more. I promise, form this day, until my last, that I will honor you, and cherish you, always and forever."

Once more, the 'regressive thinking' bit brought some chuckles, but it was beautiful as well.

"Rings now", the priest said as Xander, who somehow ended up being Giles' Best Man, held out his ring, and he took it, while Willow, who was obviously Jenny's Maid of Honor, held out her ring, and she took it too.

The two put their rings on each other as the priest asked. "Do you, Rupert Giles, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do."

"Do you, Jennifer Calendar, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"Then you may kiss the bride."

And they did, as there was applause all around. There was also a little ceremony where they put a small bead of their blood on bread, and then the other took a bite of that bread.

"Okay, that is weird", Xander muttered, only for Anya to smack his head.

"You keep telling me- 'That's not how humans do it, Anya.' Well then, show some respect for Jennifer's traditions too", Anya scolded him, and Buffy, Willow, Tara, Dawn, Joyce, Angel, Cordelia and Wesley all gave him looks that said they agreed with her.

"Right, sorry", Xander said, rubbing his head.

Later

Everyone watched as Giles and Jenny shared first dance at the wedding reception, sliding gracefully, and soon other couples started joining too.

"Xander, I wanna dance!" Anya said.

"Only slow stuff, right?" Xander asked.

"No, fast stuff, of course slow stuff, dummy!" Anya said as she grabbed his hand and led him to the floor, and they started dancing too.

"I wanna go too!" Cordelia said. "Anyone coming with me?"

"When they go fast, will you dance then too?" Angel asked her.

"Uhh, no, I'm too tired for that", Cordelia said.

"All right then, I'll dance with you", Angel said as she smiled, and they walked to dance as well.

Willow and Tara just shared a look and smile, and that was it as they walked off to dance as well.

Buffy sighed, taking a drink as Dawn asked. "You wanted Angel to dance with you, didn't you?"

"Yeah, just for old times' sake, but guess it's not happening anytime soon", Buffy muttered.

Dawn took pity on big sister and gave her a hand. "I can dance with you."

"Huh?" Buffy asked.

"I mean, I am your plus one, technically", Dawn reminded.

"I think you girls should have some fun", Joyce spoke up.

"Thanks Dawnie", Buffy said, kissing little sister's forehead as they walked off to dance together as well.

Now only Wesley and Joyce were left.

"I do not have a partner", Wesley muttered.

"Neither do I", Joyce sighed.

"Shall we?" Wesley asked.

"Sure", Joyce said as they held hands and moved to dance too.

"Next time, I'll be the guy", Dawn said as she and Buffy danced.

"You'll have to be taller than me for that", Buffy told her with a smirk.

"All right then, I promise I'll be taller than you very soon", Dawn told her.

"Keep dreaming, young lady", Buffy said with a chuckle.

"Dreams come true too, you know?" Dawn reminded her with a raised eyebrow.

Nearby, Giles and Jenny just danced together, losing themselves into each other's eyes as Giles said. "This is the best day of my life, Jenny."

"Mine too, and we're going to live in it as long as we can", Jenny told him as they kissed again.

And done. Thank you very much to Brainstorm Sorcerer for his help with this one.

And well, Buffy, you will rue this day when Dawnie is actually taller than you *evil laugh*

Xander's worst nightmare has come true, HA!

The bread thing is a Romani ritual, which I looked up. Figured Jenny would want a small bit of it in her wedding to honor her people.

Anyway, hope all enjoyed and see you all next time with some other update. Stay safe from the coronavirus ya all!
