Part 1

The sun was shining brightly in National City as Supergirl crashes to the ground making a crater, Sarya the Emerald Empress floats down to the ground with the source of her power, the Eye of Erkon, close behind her.

Sarya smirks as she looks at the broken Supergirl who begins to stand but slowly. "So this is the mighty Supergirl?"

Sarya scoffs as Supergirl fully stands limping towards her. "Do you have a death wish?!" Sarya shouts at Supergirl's defiance.

Sarya begins float to the sky charging a blast that she knows would take out the girl of steel.

But as she's doing this, Supergirl begins to ignite her heat vision, her eyes shine a bright red a visible reputation of her defiance.

"So be it, your wish is granted!" Sarya shouts unleashing the her power at the hero as she unleashed her heat vision, Sarya prepares herself when the two shots collide.

But she gasped in shock when in the corner of her eye, Supergirl's blast passes through her shoulder straight to the Eye of Erkon, Sarya tries to block the shoot with her body, but she was too slow.

The eye cracks and she falls to the ground, but before she falls to her death, she used what's remaining of her power to float before she hits the ground, as her powers leave her, she falls harshly on the ground.

"At least my blast would kill her, she wasted her shot." Sarya spat sinisterly, she painfully begins to stand wanting to see the sight of Supergirl's charred body only something completely different.

She sees gold, a golden shield that was smoking probably from her blast.

The wearer of the shield was a woman with green and blue eyes, porecilan skin and raven hair, she was wearing gold and dark blue armor which was battered and bruised.

The woman was breathing heavily, Sarya can see the woman's legs were barely holding her up, the woman falls to her knees with a smile on her face, "I told you I would save you, Kara."

The woman falls to the ground but in a blur, Supergirl or Kara is there to catch her.

"Lena!" Kara shouts checking Lena's pulse, Supergirl smiles as Lena was still breathing. "Oh thank Rao."

Kara let's out of a breath she didn't know she was holding and than she turns her attention to Empress, the Kryptonian lays Lena down safely not wanting to hurt her.

"You hurt her!" Supergirl walks up to the helpless Sarya who frozen by fear, she has never seen Supergirl so angry, Supergirl's eyes ignite with her heat vision again this time pointed at Empress, the hero screams as she fires.

the scream echoes in Sarya's mind as she wakes up, she runs her hand through her green hair. 'It was just a dream.'

Empress let out a breath of relief but then she realized that it wasn't a dream, it was too real, one day she was will face against Supergirl and that "Lena" woman and she will lose.

Unless she wasn't alone, Sarya summons the Eye of Erkon to her side, Sarya smiles as the power of the eye goes through her veins.

"I need to make a call." Sarya smirks. "Hey Selene I have a job for you."
