Its harry potters children but with a twist. Hermione Granger is marred to a ravenclaw man and has one daugter called Harriet.Hermione Granger is also the minister for magic, they live in a large house called Granger Chàtua. Draco Malfoy is Married to Luna Lovegood and they have one daugter aswell call Narcissa. Narcissa and Harriet become fobbin friends and go on lots of aventures

Narcissa's view The letter

'Plonk' "what was that noise mother?" Asked Narcissa, as she walked over to the fireplace where she heard the noise come from."must be your hogwarts letter Narcissa" said Narcissa's mother, Luna. "Well go on then open it!" Said Draco: Narcissa's father. "Yes father" said Narcissa as she always did as she was told. Narcissa carefully picked up the letter and opened it with her hands slightly shaking. She read aloud: "Dear Miss Malfoy, we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts school for witchcraft and wizardry—" she paused "father is this the school you went to when you were my age?"

"Yes" replied Draco with a slight pfft feeling in his voice, Narcissa instantly knew that he had not enjoyed the school he was sent to as he had told her many times, she sensed the frustration and disappointment from her father as she knew too well that her father had tried many times to persuade her mother to let her go to durmstrang. Narcissa suddenly felt a slight pain in her eyes as she was quite scared when her father didn't get his way, she suddenly remembered that she had not quite finished reading her letter and continued to read it, to herself this time in case her father lost his temper and started to persuade Luna even more. Narcissa read through all of her essential supplies and equipment, but then suddenly a second plop came from the fireplace, she peered into it and saw something wrapped up very neatly and shaped like a big stick. She took a glance at her father with a sort of is this for me look on her face, and as if Draco had read her mind he nodded and she turned back to the large stick and saw a little tag on it it said: for the lovely Narcissa Malfoy, with the address: Malfoy manor. Narcissa carefully peeled back the wrappings to discover some sort of a large broomstick that had a little nib at the end opposite the bristles that read: Nimbus 2001 in gold letters ( that's the latest broom and looks like the one Draco had as a child) her face lit up and her mouth fell open she immediately knew that this was a quidditch broom and the latest one too. "But father don't the teachers just pick people that are good?" Asked Narcissa confused

"Yes, but we know that you will be a quidditch Star! Just like me!" Draco said proudly

"Yeah! I will be, I won't let you down father" replied Narcissa with a smile of pride. "Well we better go to knockturn alley I suppose" said Luna with a wink.

"Yes mother" said Narcissa as she scrambled all her things together and followed her mother and father down a very long flight of stairs. When the finally reached the bottom, Draco and Luna said in unison " Hold our hands Narcissa, and remember DO NOT let go of them!"

"Yes mother. Yes father." she said nodding.

"When you're ready dear" added Luna with a slight nod. Narcissa took a deep breath and closed her eyes tight as she grabbed her parents hands with fear, as they spun crazily in mid air, Narcissa let out a very quiet squeal. 'CRACK!' they had just apparated to knockturn alley. "Woah what is this place?" Asked Narcissa with deep interest. "This is knockturn alley sweetheart." said Draco, putting a hand on Narcissa's shoulder. "We will get all of your supplies from here darling." said Narcissa's Mother with a kind smile. They went in and out of all kinds of dark and gloomy shops until they were finally finished. Luna stopped Narcissa in a little corner where it was private "Draco" she whispered with a head motion indicating for him to follow to the corner. Draco caught up with them and nodded to Luna. Luna began to explain to Narcissa how the sorting hat worked: "but don't worry darling it'll be fine, no matter which house you are sorted into we'll still love you—" she was suddenly interrupted by Draco "hey, don't tell her that" he said in a whisper "she must be in slytherin Luna!" He said now realising by the scared look on Narcissa's face that he had been heard by Narcissa. He cleared his throat and gave Luna an awkward look, as Luna got the signal that he wanted to speak to Narcissa alone she nodded and slowly backed away. "Sweetheart, you know our master: Lord Voldemort?"

"Yes of course"

"Just remember we do not speak of him at school, ok?"

"Yes father"

"Don't tell anyone that we serve him. Am I clear sweetie?"

"Yes father."

"And also...one more thing, when you need to talk to him or any of the death eaters like great aunt Bella, go somewhere private do you understand?"

"Yes father"

"Good girl" said Draco with a final little kiss on her head as he put a hand on her shoulder once more and led her up to diagon alley calling Luna to join them once more. "Argh! I hate this place it's so...bright...and...eww Cheery!" Said Narcissa with disgust, Draco began to proudly giggle a little bit as he remembered the days when he was Narcissa's age and had said the exact same thing. Luna joined in with the giggles. "We shouldn't be here too long don't worry darling we just need to get your money from gringotts and get to the platform from here" Draco reassured Narcissa, as they began to walk to the bank, Narcissa asked: "mother?"

"Yes dear?"

"I was just wondering, when does the train leave?"

"Exactly eleven o'clock dear" replied Narcissa's mother with a grin. Luna sensed the slight fear in Narcissa's expression and whispered "it's alright Narcissa, you're brave honey! And you're a very clever young lady, and we are here if you need us and great aunt Bella is here for you, the dark lord...your father and I are so proud of you and we only want the best for you, isn't that right Draco?" She said in a much louder voice than her soft whisper "huh? Yeah" said Draco but Narcissa knew too well that he hadn't even been listening to what her mother had told her.

"M-mother?"

"Yes?"

"I-I...um I think...no…"

"What is it sweetheart?"

Narcissa sighed "I-I don't really...um want to g-go to err school." She said quite shyly as her face went bright red. But then...suddenly 'TOOT!' The train had just given a warning whistle. "Never mind" Narcissa said quickly.

"Be safe honey" said Luna kissing her daughter and smiling

"Yeah, love you sweetie make us proud!" Added Draco

"I will father, don't worry!" Said Narcissa

Proud Tears slowly began to stream down Luna's checks as she hugged her daughter and waved her goodbye.

"Love you lots darling!" Luna called

"We'll Miss you"

Luna nodded in agreement and she kept waving until the final warning whistle blew and Narcissa finally reached the train. Luna and Draco held hands and Luna put her head on Draco's shoulder "do you think she'll be alright?" Luna said with a slight worry tone in her voice.

"She'll be fine. Unless she's in gryffind— "shut it! Interrupted Luna through gritted teeth. "She'll be in slytherin I know she will!" Whispered Draco to himself with a smug smile of pride, as the train began to move. Draco and Luna could see Narcissa through the window, she was sitting by herself.

The five creaks

Tears formed once again in Luna's eyes as the train took off. Luna and Draco waved to Narcissa through the window and she waved back with a nervous sort of smile on her face. They waved at each other until the train disappeared down the track and Narcissa was out of sight. "I hope she'll make friends." said Luna nervously.

"Don't worry she'll take after her father! For your information I was the popular one, at school! And she'll have heaps of friends in no time." Said Draco with a proud smirky grin. "I sure hope she takes after your popularity!" Said Luna with a giggle.

On the train: Narcissa felt slightly lonely and hoped that she would be a popular kid. ' Creek' went the carriage door as it slid open, Narcissa looked up to see a boy her age looking down at her with a smirk "you're Narcissa right?"

"Um yeah…" replied Narcissa.

"Confused?"

"What do you mean?"

"I suppose you're wondering how I knew your name?"

"Um yes how do you know my name exactly?"

"Hasn't your father told you about his school friends?"

"Yes multiple times, why do you ask?"

"Well, did he ever mention a Crabe?" Said the boy with a smile

"Yes"

"I'm Crabes son"

Narcissa looked up at him and smiled as she patted a spot next to her indicating for Crabe to sit with her. Crabe sat down where her hands had just marked and said

"Goyle should be here soon."

"Cool!" She replied. She felt so happy inside because she wanted to be just like her father and she had already met one of his childhood friend's kids.

A second creek filled the Carriage as a second boy stood there

"Hey Narcissa!"

"Goyle!"

"Mind if I—" "of course not, come sit with us! Narcissa interrupted

"Sweet thanks!"

Narcissa smiled

"I wonder if pansy's kids are here—" she was suddenly interrupted by a third creek

"Hey fellas!"

"Hey, I'm Narcissa"

"Hi Narcissa, I'm Ivy"

"Ivy Parkinson?"

"Yes, wait how did you know?"

"I'm Narcissa Malfoy"

"Oh! It's an honour! My mother has told me all about your father!"

"All good I hope"

"Good?...He was the greatest friend my Mother had at This school!

"Woah!"

"Yep!"

"I guess we are friends then?"

"Yeah!"

"Wicked!"

Ivy Parkinson let out a little giggle of agreement and sat right next to Narcissa with a huge proud grin on her face.

"This is Crabe and Goyle if you didn't know"

"Oh my mothers told me about their parents"

Ivy made a small gesture indicating for Crabe and Goyle to leave the carriage for a minute they nodded "Ok"

"Alright" and with a fourth creek the door opened and closed.

"Listen" whispered Ivy in a rushed voice. "My mother told me to look out for you ever since she found out you were coming to hogwarts, she's told me that it is essential to be friends with Draco's daughter"

"Woah! Really?" Said Narcissa feeling proud and very popular already

"Yep"

"Don't worry we can be best friends"

"Thanks! But also there's one more thing"

"And what would that be?"

"Well you see you can tell me and I'm not trying to get stuff out of you but…."

"Yes?"

"Is your family a d-death err eater family?" Ivy said in a fearful tone.

"Well um promise you won't tell anyone?"

"Cross my heart"

"Thanks!...yes They are death eaters" she said shyly

"Wicked!"

"Yeah"

"My mother asked me to ask you if they were, she's the only person I'll tell, don't worry your secret's safe with me" Ivy said as she put an arm on Narcissa's shoulder.

"Thanks, I guess I can count on you!"

Ivy let out a little giggle of delight and said "Yep!"

Ivy called Crabe and Goyle back into the carriage.

Narcissa heard a noise coming from outside her carriage, so she opened the door to see an elderly lady yelling "anything from the trolley!?

"Ooo the trolley lady" said Ivy

"My mother told me about the trolley lady we should get some food!"

"Yeah! Definitely" said Ivy very enthusiastically.

"I'll pay. What do you guys want?" Said Narcissa to her carriage mates

"Sweet! Thanks Narcissa! I'll have…..hmmm I know a chocolate frog and a bag of snakes please!" Replied Goyle.

"Ok"

"Could I please have a chocolate frog as well and some butterbeer crystal candy?

"Yep ok, anything for you Ivy?"

"Yes please!" Ivy said immediately "could I please get some bertie botts every flavour of beans?

"Sure thing!" Replied Narcissa with a smile as she walked out of her carriage with her snake around her neck, she waited patiently in line to place her large order for her friends.

Narcissa stumbled across a girl her age at the front of the line wearing plain robes and holding some books in her arms, Narcissa suddenly remembered her father telling her about a girl called Hermione who was always with her books and was very smart. "Is that Hermione's daughter?" She said to herself under her breath so that nobody could hear her, but then she remembered her mother telling her that Hermione was quite a nice girl from what she remembered. Narcissa suddenly felt the urge to walk up to her but didn't know whether to believe her father or her mother. She thought to herself: stuff it! And walked up to the girl who looked just as her father had described her potential mother to be like.

"Errr….um hi" she said kind of awkwardly facing the girl, Narcissa noticed the books in her hand were meant for much older readers and suddenly thought that it was definitely Hermione's daughter.

" oh Hi, I'm Harriet Granger and your Narcissa Malfoy! I love you snake, it's so cool, so is your hair."

"Yes, that's me, hi Harriet, my father and mother have told me all about your parents" added Narcissa with a slight friendly smile. Narcissa began to stroke sapphire's scaly skin

"Thank you, that's very kind of you, by the way this is Sapphire" she said pointing towards her snake.

"Well I'll let you continue ordering your food, before the trolley lady yells at us" she said awkwardly with a small smile " it was nice meeting you Harriet, and I'm sure we will meet again some time."

" I'm sure we will and it was nice meeting you too!" Harriet said enthusiastically.

Narcissa smiled as she thought to herself: mother was right!

She waited patiently in the line until she reached the front and pulled out her notepad that she had recorded all her friends orders onto. She began to Order them all and decided that she would like something for herself so she decided on a packet of snakes and a lollipop. Narcissa returned to the carriage at last, handed out everybody's treats and sat back down.

"Thanks a million Narcissa!"

"It's nothing!"

Ivy smiled. Narcissa noticed the look on Ivy's face which she then knew exactly what she was thinking and Narcissa felt the same way: I've made friends with my parents' friends' kids! Narcissa felt sick in the stomach as she thought about how much she secretly liked Harriet and thought she was very nice and kind, she felt ashamed of herself for thinking it because she thought about what her father would think of her if he found out or what her friends would think, would they still be friends with her? She thought to herself. Narcissa's deep thoughts were interrupted by the creek of the door for the fifth time, this time a girl walked in "May I sit with you? You see everywhere else is full!"

"Sure come sit next to Goyle" Narcissa replied gesturing opposite her, pansy and Crabe towards Goyle.

"Thanks"

The carriage went silent, it became very awkward. The only sounds were: the train rattling down the tracks and the occasional cough, clearing of a Throat and Crabe Repositioning in his seat. The carriage remained quiet the rest of the journey until Ivy got up and said:

"I needed some air." and gestured for Narcissa to join her, Narcissa got the message and decided to say "me too", and she followed Ivy out of the carriage.

Air

Ivy opened the door and stood outside waiting for Narcissa to follow; she stepped out into the hallway and closed the door behind her. Narcissa realised that she had been too focused on whether or not she should go up to Harriet that she didn't notice the ugly cheap beige carpet that filled down the corridor. Honestly she thought to herself does this school even have any money? She snapped out of her thoughts and focused back to Ivy

"Did you want to tell me something?" Asked Narcissa is a whisper

"Yes"

"Go on"

Ivy cleared her throat "you're a parselmouth aren't you?"

"Mhm, but how did you know?"

"Well, I sort of overheard you when you were coming back with our snacks"

"Oh, woops" Narcissa sighed

Great! I'm screwed! She thought to herself

Almost as if Ivy Had read her mind, she said "But remember I'm your best friend, you can tell me anything and I won't tell a soul, trust me I keep my secrets!"

Narcissa looked up at her as a huge smile spread across her face.

The two girls ended up staying out in the hallway the rest of the ride, laughing and joking around, until they saw Harriet pass and they fell silent as they watched her go past them. Ivy threw Harriet a slightly nasty look, but Narcissa knew that Ivy was looking at Harriet and not her so she played it safe and just showed a little shy smile at Harriet. Narcissa dearly desired to talk to Harriet but she knew now wasn't really a good time so she just decided to break the silence with a simple: "what were you saying Ivy?" Narcissa asked nudging Ivy a little

"Huh? Oh yes, um so how was your summer?"

"Err it was good yeah" replied Narcissa awkwardly

"That's well um good I guess"

"Mhm Yep, how was yours?"

"Alright"

"That's err um...alright? Then?"

"Yeah"

After Harriet had ran off into her carriage they both had the same idea and they rushed as fast as they could back into their carriage before anything else happened. Panting, they both sat down where they were sitting before and weazed

"Obviously you didn't get much air!" said Goyle with a laugh. Suddenly the whole carriage was filled with laughter at Goyle's funny joke.

"You should've seen granger!" Ivy said before bursting into laughter.

"Tell them how funny it was Narcissa" Ivy added.

The laughter from Goyle's joke had stopped and all eyes in the carriage were on her and they all looked very intrigued to find out about Harriet.

"Yeah it was err hilarious" Narcissa Said even though she didn't find it at all funny

"Her whole face just went red and she burst into tears! It was so funny! She's just as stupid as her mudblood mother" the whole carriage started giggling in agreement all except Narcissa who suddenly felt really bad luckily nobody noticed her not laughing.

Harriet's grief

The rest of the journey Narcissa felt sick, she just wanted to go home, and see her beloved parents again as she missed them dearly.

Suddenly the train began to slow down until it finally came to a halt. Narcissa knew that they had arrived at hogwarts "I wish my father won the battle with my mother" Narcissa said under her breath

"Did you say something Narcissa?" Asked Ivy

"Me? No"

"Oh I swear I heard you say something but I guess I was wrong."

Narcissa nodded

"Well come on then" said Ivy, for a second Narcissa became confused until she looked up from the newspaper she was holding and realised that her and Ivy were the only ones left in the carriage

"Oh" Narcissa said with realisation as she stepped out of the carriage and carefully folded her copy of the daily prophet, and put it back in her duffle bag.

After exiting the train she felt a very hard knock on her shoulder

"OWCH! WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING" she yelled before noticing that it wasn't an accident in fact it was Harriet who had knocked her.

The sorting hat

Ivy looked at Narcissa and said

"Are you coming, Narcissa?"

Crabe, Goyle and the other student who came and sat with them turned around to discover that Narcissa had stopped.

"Are you Alright Narcissa?" Asked Crabe

"Mhm. You guys go on I'll catch up" Narcissa replied feeling uncomfortable.

"Um ok" said Goyle.

"See ya Narcissa" said Ivy Narcissa could tell that Ivy was a little disappointed because her best friend wouldn't be walking with her up to the boat.

A single tear rolled down Narcissa's check as she ran into a private Corner. She called her owl over and her owl, Blinx, flew over and landed on her shoulder. Narcissa gave Blinx a pat Blinx gave a little nip at her finger like a little kiss.

"FIRST YEARS!" called a loud male voice, Narcissa quickly ran over to the lake and got on a boat with Ivy, Crabe, Goyle, the girl they met on the train, and another boy and girl.

"By the way my name is Mia" said the girl that they'd met in the train

"Hi Mia" said the other girl "I'm Daphne"

"I'm Ivy"

"I'm Blaise's son Zachary"said the boy

"I'm Narcissa Malfoy"

"Woah really?"

"Mhm"

"My parents always talk about your father"

"This is Crabe and Goyle." said Ivy pointing at the two boys.

"Looks like we are here" Said Narcissa

Everyone turned to see that a giant man with a big beard was waiting for them to get out.

"C'mon" he yelled in a friendly tone.

Everyone hoped out of the boat and walked up the stone steps towards the giant beautiful castle, once they reached the top they all saw a woman trying to calm all the first years down. "Listen!...Kobe put that away!...everyone calm down!" Nobody was listening until she began to yell: "EVERYBODY SHUT IT!" Everyone immediately stopped talking and faced her. "I am professor …mcgonagall" she began to explain how the sorting hat worked. Narcissa didn't bother to listen to her words as her parents had already explained it. They finally walked into the building and one million eyes all flipped around to stare at all the first years as they walked up the hall. Narcissa felt slightly nervous but very confident that she would be a slytherin. Then one by one all the children got sorted. Narcissa didn't really pay much attention to the song or the children getting sorted until they called out "Parkinson Ivy!" and Narcissa sprung up with hope that Ivy would get in slytherin. The hat was placed on Ivy's head "SLYTHERIN!" Yelled the battered hat. Applause filled the hall Narcissa was cheering the loudest. After a few more kids she heard "Malfoy Narcissa!" Being called by professor Mcgonagall, Narcissa took a big deep breath and saw every eye on her. She took a glance and Ivy who was showing a fingers crossed signal from the slytherin table. You've got this said a voice in her head and she walked slowly up to the stool, the hat was being lowered onto her head but it didn't quite touch her head when it yelled "SLYTHERIN!" a huge grin spread across her face as she skipped over to the slytherin table with delight! Narcissa sat right next to Ivy and gave her a high five, then a minute later she heard Harriet's name being called

"Harriet Granger"

"RAVENCLAW!" the hat yelled. Narcissa watched Harriet happily skip to the ravenclaw table.

"Hah! Of course she's a ravenclaw! Only smart Alex get in there and she's a true smartie pants just like her mudblood mother" said Ivy in a babyish voice as she began to laugh a little.

"Yeah hah!" Said Narcissa pretending to agree.

The First night

After a few announcements from the headmaster: professor Dumbledore, about the forest being out of bounds and certain stories being forbidden...food appeared on everyone's plates all through the hall every table filled with roast and sweets. As everyone ate their food. Narcissa could not wait to tell her parents the news about her new hogwarts house. After the grand feast the headmaster dismissed the school to bed. As soon as Narcissa reached her dormitory she pulled out a bare piece of parchment an began to write to her parents about her day: meeting Ivy, how she had bought all her friends food from the trolley, but then she began to hesitate whether or not she should include something about meeting Harriet Granger, but then decided not to. She wrote about the boats, the sorting hats song, then she wrote about how she got accepted into slytherin and about the food. She finished by writing

"Blinx!" She yelled and immediately a barn owl came flying towards her and landed on her shoulder, Narcissa handed the letter to Blinx who picked it up with his beak and soared out of the window towards Malfoy manor "be safe Blinx!" She called after him.

Narcissa began to feel tired and obviously she wasn't alone Ivy was also yawning.

"Hey, I'm getting kind of tired now I'm going to head to bed soon" Said Narcissa

"Yeah, same" replied Ivy

The two of them slipped into their Pyjamas: Narcissa's covered with snakes, and Ivy's a set of plain dark green silk pyjamas. Ivy and Narcissa decided to sleep next to each other as they were the first ones in the bedrooms they got to pick their beds before everyone else. Narcissa picked a bed next to a circular window, Ivy picked the bed next to hers.

"I think we got the best spot don't you?"

"Yep! It sure is!"

Both girls smiled at each other

"Can't wait for our first classes tomorrow!"

"Yeah! Especially potions with professor snape!"

"Definitely!"

"He comes to my house sometimes for D.E meetings"

"Wicked! I've always wanted to go to Malfoy manor, you're so lucky!"

"Yeah, you can come over the summer break if you want"

"Wait! Really oh my gosh! I never thought this day would come"

"Ha ha ha" both girls giggled in unison.

"Well good night, Ivy! It was so nice meeting you, I'll see you tomorrow!"

"Good night Narcissa!"

Ivy and Narcissa both turned their lamps off, and a few minutes later people started spilling in and getting into a bed of their choice.

Narcissa's eyes began to feel heavy as she started to feel tired, her eyes began to close and she fell asleep next to Ivy who had just fallen asleep as well. Hours past as the dormitory became quieter and quieter and both girls lay motionless in bed while people came in and out. But suddenly…. 'BANG!'

The slytherin 'storm'

'BANG!'

Everyone immediately awoke with a jump.

"AHHH" screamed a girl in the dormitory.

"Oh my word what was that bang?!"

The whole dormitory broke into whispers of: 'did you hear that?' And 'what was that bang?' Until everyone's whispering came to a stop as the door slowly opened.

"What on earth is the meaning of this?" Said a female voice and everyone turned to see professor Mconagol standing in the doorway with both hands placed on her hips, her face wrinkled and screwed up.

"Errr...professor" called Zachary.

"Yes dear boy?"

"I was just wondering, what was that noise?"

"What noise boy?"

"Didn't you hear it? It woke up the whole dormitory."

The whole bedroom was filled with slytherin boys and girls nodding their heads in agreement.

"I have no idea what you're talking about but if this is serious I will inform professor dumbledore, for the meantime I suggest you get some sleep. Relax! It was probably just a storm or something"

"But professor"

"What is it, miss Parkinson?"

"If you couldn't hear it, and we could then how can it be a storm?"

"Well, I do have one idea of what it could be but I think now would not be the appropriate time to fill you all in with it."

"But—

"Good night!"

"Argh"

"Everyone Just go back to sleep and if it happens again we'll get professor snape to come and sort it out because he'll know what to do, unlike Mcgonagal!" Said Goyle.

The room fell with giggles.

"Yeah! Definitely" Narcissa said through her laughter.

The note

The next morning Narcissa awoke early and started studying as none of her roommates were awake yet. Until finally a bell rang waking everyone up, as it was time to get up and there was fifteen minutes left until their first class. Narcissa got dressed in her new slytherin robes, as she gathered all her books and supplies together she thought about how Harriet had bumped into her at the station she frowned slightly.

"What's up Narcissa?"Said a familiar voice

"Oh, nothing" she replied as she realised it wasn't Ivy it was a male voice, it was Zachery.

Narcissa ran out of the dormitory to breakfast, where she ate some pancakes.

After breakfast Narcissa decided to go for a walk by herself

"I'll meet up with you guys for classes, ok?"

"Alright, well we'll see you there." said Ivy.

"Yep!" said Zachery.

Narcissa turned a corner and saw Harriet standing there, In her ravenclaw robes.

Uh oh Narcissa thought to herself. Narcissa felt both nervous and glad as this could be a good opportunity to talk to Harriet alone about what happened on the train. Narcissa saw Harriet begin to walk up to her, Narcissa began to feel worried that Harriet would bump her shoulder again but she was wrong, Harriet handed Narcissa the note when she came over. Harriet said " read it in private and if you can come, then come alone." She then ran off to her class, clutching books to her chest.

Narcissa read the note that Harriet had just passed her it read:'To Narcissia,

You seemed nice yesterday, and as if you actually wanted to be friends with me, but you don't because otherwise you would have said something to me when I passed you. But I still need to talk to you about something so can you meet me outside the great hall at 4:00? Please send a note back.' Narcissa put a finger to her lip as she tried to figure out what on earth Harriet would want to talk to her about, and whether or not she should go. Narcissa stuffed the note in her pocket and decided she would figure it out later, since she wasn't planning on being late to her first ever class, especially since it was potions which she found fascinating.

The deal

Narcissa quickly ran down through the courtyard clutching her books tightly, as she set off for potions with professor Snape, who was her favourite teacher, so she was very excited. When she entered the classroom she discovered that she was the only one there apart from: Ivy and Zachary. Ivy patted a seat right next to her. Narcissa sat down where Ivy had indicated for her to sit and put all of her books down in front of her on her desk which was a black wood colour. Narcissa put her quill in the ink bottle and waited for professor Snape to arrive. Approximately one minute late, Snape had walked through the door and Ivy, Narcissa and Zachery all sat up straight smirking with delight.

"Where are the others?" Said Snape's deep voice.

"Er...I think they are running late professor" said Zachery

"Of course they are, those filthy gryffindors"

Narcissa, Ivy and Zachery all smirked in agreement.

Then seven slytherin boys and girls came in

"Sorry we're late" they all said in unison

"Take your seat." Said Snape in a deep harsh voice

All the slytherins quickly scrambled to a seat and placed their stuff down.

About five minutes later a large group of gryffindors ran into the classroom

"Where have you been, your exactly 18 minuets late" Said Snape very angrily

"Er we were—"

"No excuses, I expect better from you!" Snape howled

All the slytherins giggled.

"Now who can tell me…" Snape began the lesson. Narcissa felt very interested by everything said from the teacher, and took quite a lot of notes during the lesson.

But suddenly Narcissa's note taking was interrupted by Professor Snape's deep voice: "Narcissa" he said loudly.

"Yes sir?"

"Could I please have a word with you?"

"Yes of course sir" she said getting out of her seat. Narcissa felt a pain in her side as she walked out of the classroom. Narcissa felt very worried that she might be in trouble, but she couldn't figure out what for, until suddenly Snape turned around to face Narcissa.

"Could you make me a deal Narcissa?"

"Yes, what for?"

"Will you promise not to tell anyone about me being a… death eater?"

"Yes of course sir"

"I'm sure your father has already forbidden you to speak of it?"

"Yes professor"

"I trust you"

"I won't let you down professor"

"Good girl, thank you."

They both walked back to class without saying anything.

When they reached the classroom Narcissa sat back in her seat and professor Snape resumed his lesson: "turn to page 15 in your books"

After the lesson had finished, Narcissa quickly ran to a wall and leaned on it while she wrote a note back to Harriet.

The meeting

Narcissa quickly finished writing her note and folded the parchment in her pocket, the note read: dear Harriet

I really need to talk to you too, I am happy to meet at 4:00 and I will try my best to make it there alone.

Narcissa checked her watch that said it was 3:40 she had twenty minutes until the meeting but she wondered where Harriet would be so that she could give her the note. Just then Narcissa had a thought: she could be in the ravenclaw common room, I'll wait for her outside.

Narcissa ran up the steps until she finally reached the ravenclaw common room. Narcissa stood outside waiting for Harriet.

Harriet finally came,

" oh hi… what do you want?" asked Harriet in a disgusted tone.

Narcissa quickly stuffed the note into Harriet's hands and ran off back to her dormitory, where she paced up and down the hallway waiting for 4:00 to come.

'Beep!' Narcissa looked down at her watch. It was 4:00, she ran out of the room and to the great hall. Where she saw Harriet leaning against the wall waiting, Narcissa caught her gaze, and walked up to her. They stood there just looking into each other eyes, Narcissa staring into pools of green, and Harriet staring into pools of white.

Narcissa cleared her throat to break the awkward silence, and said "you...Er wanted to um talk...to me?" Said Narcissa awkwardly.

" Hi,Narcissa." Said Harriet. " come in here…" Harriet pointed to an old classroom "yeah I did want to talk to you, now come in here" she walked into the old classroom. Harriet's voice sounded harsh and serious.

"Er ok" replied Narcissa as she followed Harriet into the old unoccupied classroom.

" I heard you and ... Ivy I think her name is, talking on the train because I got up to go to the toilet. I overheard her ask you if you were a parselmouth. Are you a parselmouth?" Harriet asked seriously.

"Er….okay" she sighed "Yes, I am a parselmouth but keep it a secret! Ok!?"

" Okay, I promise but make one wrong move and I will tell everyone." Harriet replied harshly.

"Look Harriet, if my father finds out that people know he'll kill me!"

"well I'm not stupid! I Know Your Father is Draco Malfoy, but still I don't care, I heard you and your friend laughing about me while I was in the carriage behind you!"

"Well I'm not stupid either, of course I knew you were in that carriage, but you don't understand! I wasn't actually laughing so maybe you misheard it was my friends laughing and I don't find it funny, I really need to talk to you about this issue!"

" Fine, then go ahead!" she said irritably.

"Okay, Thanks! The truth is I want to be friends with you! And if I ever do something rude, it's only in front of my friends because I don't want them to not like me, but please don't tell anyone" she said with a sigh.

"fine, I won't, but if you have to impress them to make them like you then they aren't real friends." she said turning around and walking to the door.

"They are! I'm not trying to impress them, I just want to have friends!"

"cool, well anyway my friend's are probably looking everywhere for me, my father told me to stay away from you I wished I had, and don't ever talk to me again!" Harriet said walking out and disappearing.

"I will talk to you when I please," she called to what seemed like nothing, walking off.

She rolled her eyes and ran back to her friends.

At dinner that night she overheard the gryffindor table talking about a rather loud disturbance in the night that sounded like some sort of storm. Narcissa felt rather curious about this as the slytherins had had the same disturbance although the slytherins had had the disturbance the night before unlike the gryffindors who had just had there's last night.

Harriet's final request

After yesterday Narcissa began to feel like she hadn't acted in the nicest way to Harriet and suddenly had that same sick feeling that she had on the train.

A single tear formed in her eye as she went down to breakfast. She immediately wiped her eyes to eliminate the sad look on her face. She didn't even look up from her bowl of cereal, as she didn't want to accidentally catch Harriet's gaze. After she finished her cereal, Narcissa decided to 'catch up on her homework' or at least that's what she told her friends to get some time to herself. Narcissa walked over to a bench In the courtyard and sat there with her homework, even though she wasn't doing it. She was looking down at the bright green grass, when the grass became darker Narcissa looked closely at the patch of grass that had lost its vibrancy and realised it was a shadow of a girl. Narcissa quickly looked up to discover that the girl that had created the shadow was Harriet standing in front of her holding a single piece of parchment. Slight fear overcame Narcissa that she had written something about telling her friends or parents about Narcissa's secrets.

" um… Hi?" Harriet said. " um I'm really sorry about what happened yesterday. Um…"

She put the note into Narcissa's hands, waved and ran off back to her friends.

Narcissa took the note back to the slytherin common room and read it to herself there it said: Dear Narcissa,

I am sorry for the way I acted yesterday. I just was still upset because of what you said on the train. I do want to be friends with you even if it has to be a secret. I promise I won't tell anyone that you can …… see your secret is safe with me. To show that I am truly sorry if you ever need help with your homework you can come to me.

Narcissa read the note over and over with great delight, as she had felt the same sorrow for Harriet. Narcissa grabbed a quill and began to scribble down a note for Harriet.

The reply

She had written: dear Harriet,

I am so glad you gave me that note, I couldn't live with myself after the argument and felt the same sorrow that you had described, I'm so glad we are friends again and I really appreciate your offer for help with homework. Your a really sweet girl and thanks for keeping it a secret

Narcissa folded up the note carefully and walked over to the same spot she had waited for Harriet last time: outside the ravenclaw common room. Narcissa saw Harriet come past accompanied by professor Flitwick. Oh no is she alright? Narcissa thought to herself, and she waited for the right moment to slip it to her without the teacher seeing in her head she said to herself 3 2 1…..And…..zero! She quickly and stealthily sliced the note into Harriet's robe pocket and gave her a little wink as she walked past.

The room of requirement

Narcissa felt happy and hoped that Harriet had enjoyed reading her letter, but then she suddenly remembered, she was walking with a teacher. Maybe something happened to her. Narcissa's thoughts stopped as Ivy, Crabe, Goyle, Zachery and Mia all walked up to Narcissa "did you hear?" Said Goyle, smirking.

"Hear what?"

"Apparently Granger fainted!" All of her friend's began to laugh and Narcissa joined in though she didn't find it funny.

"What subject's next?" Said Narcissa trying to change the subject.

"Er I think it's defence against the dark arts" replied Zachery

"Ooo cool!" Said Narcissa

"Mhm, it's in ten minutes." said Ivy.

"Ok, I'm just going to get something from my bag" Said Narcissa

"Um ok, I guess we'll see you in class then?"

"Yep" replied Narcissa as she headed for the slytherin common room.

She saw Harriet stand there outside the dormitory.

"Hey Harriet, what's up?"

Harriet held her hand out with another note in it, Narcissa took the note with deep interest.

"If only there were a secret place we could meet!" Narcissa said with a sigh, but then suddenly the wall began to move and a door appeared in the wall. Both Narcissa and Harriet looked at each other shocked!

"Should we open it?" Both girls said in unison

"I guess so" Said Narcissa as she began to twist the door handle, it made a loud crack and swung open they stepped in and Harriet suddenly knew where they were

"Hang on! We're in the room of requirement!"

"We should meet up here!"

"Yeah! We could put a special letter box here that only us two can open and close and we'll put all our letters in here and check it frequently!" Said Harriet looking excited.

"Great thinking Harriet!" Narcissa replied "well I have defence against the dark arts in five minutes" she said looking at her watch. "I guess I'll see you here at….5:00 tonight?"

"Can't then, maybe 4?"

"Ok,got it see you then I guess" she said with a friendly wave.

" yeah, bye, oh and don't forget to read the note!" Said Harriet waving back.

"Got it! I'll read it as soon as I'm alone after defence against the dark arts" Narcissa said as she walked out of the room of requirement.

She ran down the hall towards the classroom for defence against the dark arts.

"Hey Ivy!" She said as she caught up with her classmates.

"Hey Narcissa glad you made it, we were just heading in now!"

After what seemed like a very long session Narcissa was finally able to read the note from Harriet. She read it to herself:

Dear Narcissa,

Yay we are friends again! I have something to tell you. You are probably wondering what happened I'll tell you but you can't tell anyone ok?

So when I was walking to class I heard a voice in my head not like a decision voice but as if someone was talking to me, it was a male voice. The voice said ' little girl, come to me, come to me, I need you. Come to me, come to me. Your mud blood mother will die if you don't come, come to the Chamber of Secrets, come to me, come to me now!' I'm scared. And I have been seeing a man through the window behind the professors table in the great hall! Please help!

Narcissa looked up from the note in shock!

The wall

She looked at her watch and decided that Harriet is usually a little early so she should probably start leaving now since by the time she'll reach the room of requirement it'll be 4:00 so she packed away her homework and books and headed for the wall where the secret room had once appeared. But on her way she was stopped by a sudden sound that began to pass through the walls, Narcissa put her ear up to the wall and listened: it wasn't a voice nor was it a person the sound had a hint of a 'Sssss' sound in it and Narcissa understood that it was a snake talking to her. Narcissa followed the snake as it slithered through the walls. Narcissa suddenly became unaware about the meeting she had planned with Harriet. She continued to follow the snake, until the snake stopped and she stopped too. Suddenly she wasn't herself anymore and as if the snake put a spell on her she fell into some sort of trance. Suddenly the snake resumed its slithering and Narcissa followed it uncontrollably, it led her at last to a secret passage where Narcissa went into and suddenly water fell down onto her she was soaking and the trance she was once in had stopped.

"What the...where am I...what happened?...what am I doing here?" She said looking around her.

"Hello? Is anybody there?"

"Yes!" Said a voice which she immediately recognised to be the snake's.

"Who are you?" She said shakily in a shy tone.

"I am Nagini" replied the snake as it slithered from out of the shadows, giving Narcissa the opportunity.

Narcissa immediately knew that Nagini was Lord Voldemort's snake, as she had taken care of Nagi multiple times while Lord Voldemort did his business.

"It's an honor!" Narcissa said with a bow.

"Why thank you young Narcissa"

Narcissa stood back up and looked at Nagini with wide eyes

"Lord Voldemort sent me to get you, that is why you could not remember anything you see, I put you under a trance, an irresistible one" she said with a smirk.

"Oh"

"Yes, now my dear I would like you to transform into your 'other form' please"

"Ok" she replied and transformed into a snake.

"Don't worry child no one can reach us here! I've put a special spell on the door and nobody can even see it let alone get in!"

"Wow, that's very clever Nagini!"

"Thank you, now come on we must not be late!"

"Huh? Late for what?"

"Lord Voldemort would like to see you."

"Oh, am I in trouble?"

"Oh no no no! Nothing like that!" Nagini replied, here drink this it'll make you invisible to everyone"

"Thanks!" Narcissa said as she drank the potion.

The two snakes slithered along the concrete slowly, Narcissa feeling very honoured.

When they finally reached the potions classroom Nagini said "transform back Narcissa"

"Alright" She said as she transformed for the second time now becoming human again. Nagini unlocked the door and indicated for Narcissa to enter, Narcissa entered nervously to come face to face with professor Snape.

Worthy

Narcissa felt a ping of confusion.

Nagini splashed a non liquid dust over Narcissa revealing her from the potion temperley.

"Hello, Miss Malfoy." Said Snape's cold deep voice.

"Hello professor" she replied.

"Snape, Lord Voldemort is ready, are you ready for your job?" Said Nagini

"Narcissa, you're a parselmouth aren't you?"

"Yes sir" Narcissa replied.

"Would you translate for me please"

"Yes of course sir"

"What did Nagini say?"

"She said: Snape, Lord Voldemort is ready, are you ready for your job?" Narcissa said

"Oh, would you let Nagini know that I am ready?"

"Yes. Nagini, Snape is ready"

"Very well then, I'll see you later Snape"

"Nagini Said very well then, I'll see you later, Snape."

"Alright then farewell Nagini and good luck Narcissa"

Narcissa still with no idea what was happening followed Nagini out of the dungeon and transformed back into a snake as more dust in a different colour splashed over her making her invisible once again. They slithered out of the castle, then out of the Hogwarts grounds. Narcissa felt slightly worried but then snapped out of it as it was Nagini who was guiding her and she trusted Nagini. They finally reached knockturn alley when Nagini turned and entered a shop, but Narcissa did not see which shop she had entered, and was left outside looking around until Nagini came out of a shop with a hanging sign above them that read: 'borgin and Burkes' in gold Writing on a black wooden sign.

"Thisssss way" Said Nagini, Narcissa said nothing but followed with interest. The two snakes slipped down the alleyway into the shop and there they met Bellatrix Lestrange who was Narcissa's great aunt. Narcissa loved Bellatrix and was excited when she saw her curly black hair. Narcissa transformed back to herself, as her Aunty was holding her arms out to hug Narcissa who ran up to her and hugged her with great joy.

"It's so great to see you auntie Bella" said Narcisa

"yes it's great to see you too young Narcisa I've missed you"

"Aunty Bella?"

"Yes dear?"

"What are we doing?"

"You have proven yourself worthy Narcissa"

"How? For what? What are you talking about?"

"Well you know how our family is a group of death eaters?"

"Yes"

Well you've been chosen"

"Wait! I have?" Said Narcissa with a huge grin so big and proud that she couldn't stop smiling. Belatrix gave her a pat on the shoulder as she smiled proudly as well, and led Narcissa inside the shop.

They came across a throne in the shadows that someone was sitting on, but she couldn't make out who due to the darkness of the shadows. Narcissa looked around her and saw a pathway that led to the throne surrounded by people standing on either side of the throne creating a clear path for Narcissa to pace up to the throne. Narcissa took a glance at Bellatrix, and she nodded as if she knew that Narcissa was wondering if she was supposed to walk up to the person in the throne.

"Go on dear" Belatrix whispered in Narcissa's ear as she gave her a gentle push.

Narcissa slowly walked up the pathway as she took a silent gulp and put one foot in front of the other getting closer and closer towards the mysterious person. Before Narcissa knew it she was right in front of the person sitting in the throne, she looked back at Bellatrix who gave a hand signal telling Narcissa to bow. Her gaze returned to the mysterious person as she lowered herself into a bow. The person stood up and got out of the throne walking into the light, Narcissa raised her head slightly trying to get a glance at who it was. She now knew who it was.

Lord Voldemort

Lord Voldemort had vainly skin that was very pale, his nose wasn't there fully, it was replaced by two slits where the nostrils should've been. His eyes were a red colour as he stared down at her, she put her head back down.

Lord Voldemort squinted at her and said:

"Narcissa right?" In a slow croaky voice that was somewhat soothing.

"Yes" Narcissa replied with fear knowing that if she stuffed up her first greeting it would permanently ruin her reputation.

"Very well then" he said "let's begin, but first wait, where is her father Draco?"

"I'm not sure, my lord" said one of the death eaters.

"We could send him a letter by owl?"

"No no we'll send him a letter by spell, don't you baphons know the spell to send letters?"

"Er yes my Lord" replied a male voice.

"Well it's settled then, get the girl to write to him and teach her the spell."

"I'll do it!" Said Belatrix lestrange eagerly raising her arm.

"Alright, We'll come back at 10:00pm which is in 15 minuets" Said Voldemort dismissing all the death eaters but bellatrix.

The secret letter

"Ok, you've got this, remember how to say it?" Asked Bellatrix

"Er I think" replied Narcissa

"Electro sacronum"

"Oh yeah, thanks"

"Well you get writing and just let me know when you're finished dear alright?

"Yep, got it" Narcissa said as Bellatrix paced around the shop picking things up and carelessly plopping them where she pleased.

Narcissa wrote to her father with great relief until she suddenly remembered that she had missed her meeting with Harriet, oh no! She thought now Harriet is going to think I am avoiding her. Narcissa began to stress until she Realised that Bellatrix wasn't watching her so she could easily write a letter to Harriet as well as her father. She grinned at her idea and got to work.

Dearest Harriet,

I am extremely sorry that I missed our meeting, it was nothing personal, I've been chosen to become a death eater and am having the ceremony. If I had known I definitely would've told you but I had no idea and they lured me into a passageway and took me to Borgin and Burke's. You may be wondering how I am writing to you right now: it's because I had to write to my father informing him about the ceremony because he didn't turn up, so I decided I would take the opportunity to tell you what's going on. And please don't tell anyone (but I know you won't because you're a very bright witch and an amazing friend)

"Electro sacronum" she said and the letter immediately disappeared

"Did I hear the spell? Have you sent it?"

"Er no I was um just practicing the spell that's why you herd it"

"Oh, alright I'll leave you to it then." Said Belatrix calmly.

Narcissa began to write to her father Draco

Dear Father,

Guess what I've been chosen to become a death eater! We are about to have a ceremony and we want you to be there! Please come to Borgin and Burke's in five minutes if you're able.

Love you lots

"Electro sacronum!" She said and at that the letter disappeared into thin air

"I'm done aunt Bella" Narcissa called out

"Oh, good! They'll be back in about three to four minutes I presume I just hope your father makes it!"

"Don't worry he will, I know he will," Narcissa said confidently with a little proud smile.

Five minutes passed and people dressed in dramatic black outfits began appearing one by one back into the spots that they had previously been in, until all the spots were filled all but one, Narcissa knew that that one spot was supposed to be filled by her father. she frowned slightly and began to feel slightly unwell until the spot was filled suddenly by a man who was not her father but instead a man that wasn't supposed to be there it was severus snape: her potions teacher but he was supposed to be making sure nobody realised that she was gone what was he doing here she thought.

Double Desperate

Narcissa began to feel worried as all of the spots were now filled, maybe he wasn't coming. Said a voice in her head, maybe he didn't care. Narcissa felt very uncomfortable and unwell at this point.

'Crack!' Someone had just appeared at Narcissa's side, she turned to see that it was her one and only father. She gasped at the sight of him and hugged him tightly

"For a second I thought you weren't coming!"

"Why would you think that?" He said with a chuckle Rhetorically.

Suddenly Narcissa felt something appear in her pocket. She wanted to check what it was so badly although she was desperate she knew she shouldn't because there was about 20 death eaters watching her.

Finally the last person arrived: Lord Voldemort.

"Now we can properly begin" he said in his dark voice

Everyone nodded in agreement.

The ceremony

Belitrix gave a short nod indicating for Narcissa to walk to him now.

She did as she was to.d and slowly began to once more walk up to the throne with Lord Voldemort in it, she Crouched down into a bow as the dark lord raised his wand and put it on one shoulder then lifted it up once more and Did the same on the other shoulder muttering something she began to feel weird like she wasn't herself anymore and she felt stronger and angrier than before. They began to ask her if she will stay forever faithful and what she will do to serve her new master….

After the questioning finally came to an end a special party type thing began as they celebrated in the dark shop. Every few minutes someone came up to Narcissa congratulating her or welcoming her to the death eater army.

Narcissa felt a great sting of pride as she walked past her new clan of death eaters.

"It's nearly one o'clock Narcissa" came a cold voice "I think it's about time we get back to the castle before people start waking up and also so that you can get some sleep, but don't worry I'll cover for you if you're tired and can't concentrate tomorrow" snapped Snape calmly in his cold deep voice

"Thanks, ok" she replied, smirking.

Snape announced they were leaving and he and Narcissa took off saying goodbye to everyone and blowing her father and her Aunt a kiss.

As they left Nagini followed them.

"Master wants me to come to school with you"Said Nagini

"Oh, yay ok!" Said Narcissa cheerily

Snape gave a confused look and Narcissa immediately knew what he was thinking

"Nagini is coming to hogwarts with us professor, the dark lord has told him to, and I will have to pretend that I got a new pet snake"

"Right, well let's get moving" Snape Said.

Once they finally reached hogwarts they crept back into the slytherin common room everyone was asleep, everyone except for Ivy Parkinson, who was pretending to be asleep but Narcissa obviously knew, she gave Snape a nod once she was in her bed indicating that she was fine by herself now and he could leave. As soon as the door shut Ivy sprang up

"Where were you?!" She whisper yelled

"I Er—"

"Never mind I think I know" interrupted Ivy looking at Nagini who was lying in Narcissa's lap peacefully.

"Night" She said

Narcissa felt unhappy at these words as her voice wasn't its usual it sounded more angry "maybe she's just jealous" Narcissa thought to herself as she frowned.

The cover up

Narcissa slipped into her pyjamas. Narcissa heard a soft 'thud' she looked down to see the thing that had appeared in her pocket.

"Oh yeah!" She said very quietly to herself remembering her temptations from the ceremony. She hopped into her bed and opened the letter addressed to her: Dear Narcissa,

Sorry I hadn't seen your letter sooner. No worries I didn't think that you had been avoiding me. Have fun. Thank you and your right I won't tell a soul. But that was a close one cause I read it at night with all the girls in here with me, and they asked who the letter was from, but don't worry I told them that it didn't say who it was from. As Narcissa read this she was surprised at these kind words and she smiled

She yawned and thought that she was too tired to write back and it could wait until tomorrow. Narcissa's eyes felt heavy as they closed against her will, and she slept through the rest of the morning.

"Narcissa" came a cold voice that obviously belonged to professor Snape

"Yes professor?" She said opening her eyes and rubbing them with a yawn.

"It's 11:00 am"

"Oh—"

"Don't worry I've covered for you everyone just thinks you've had a rough night and feel unwell" he interrupted

"Oh, thanks professor" she replied

"When you're ready you can head to charms, if anyone asks why you were gone you know the deal just say you weren't feeling very good and felt unwell. Got it?"

"Yes professor"

Professor Snape left the room leaving Narcissa by herself, she got out of bed, got dressed, and then decided that she needed to write to Harriet.

Dearest Hariet granger,

I am very pleased to hear that you have Accepted that I'm now a death eater and didn't turn your back on me! You're an amazing friend for keeping our friendship a secret and I know that I can trust you.snape has been covering for me since I went to bed extremely late or early actually because I went to bed at about one in the morning. Anyway I am very happy to hear that you have become popular! And is there a time that we can meet up in the room of requirement?

She supposed that the new spell that she had learnt last night was the fastest way to deliver letters and they won't have to meet up so it would be easier.

"Electro sacronum" she said and the letter vanished instantly.

Unwanted

"I better get to class!" Said Narcissa to herself under her breath, and with that she ran to charms. After an awkward arrival she looked over to the table that she normally sat it with Ivy, but today was different, pansy wasn't waiting for Narcissa, nor was she saving her spot. In fact Ivy wasn't even looking at Narcissa, she was sitting with Crabe, Goyle and Zachery. Narcissa frowned at what she saw, until she was interrupted by professor flitwick calling her to get right into it as she had missed half the lesson

"Sorry professor—" she was again interrupted by her charms teacher

"I know what happened, you don't need to explain. Hurry up and get over here, there's a spot…...just over there" he said pointing at a table with hufflepuffs and one free spot. Narcissa groaned and rolled her eyes as she stalked up to the table slowly, then dumped her bag on the floor in rage.

At long last her painful charms class was over and she could have some time to herself and hopefully receive a note from Harriet that would cheer me up she thought to herself, she headed for the room of requirement to see if she had received a letter, but as she was walking there she heard an unfamiliar voice saying "Harrrrieeet, your mudblood mother will suffer and your friends won't save you because they have more important things to worry about and you're not important to them, and Narcissa bring Harriet to me or else I will—" the voice was suddenly interrupted by the headmaster walking past

"Afternoon Miss Malfoy" Said professor dumbledore as he passed her

Narcissa did not like professor dumbledore much and didn't respond. Narcissa was now filled with fear, she did not want anything bad to happen to Harriet. She felt scared but also quite angry that her headmaster had just interrupted something very important! She needed to know what would happen to Harriet and wondered if Harriet had heard the voice as well. A million thoughts passed through Narcissa's mind as she resumed walking to the room of requirement. When she finally reached the room of requirement she went Straight to the box and saw to her surprise and happiness that there was indeed a letter there!

She immediately took it out and read the neat writing that she immediately recognised to be Harriet's: Dear Narcissa,

Hope you got my last letter and that the ceremony went well. I have made some brownies and chicken nuggets for us. If you can please come down to the room of requirement for dinner. I have a lot to fill you in on and I have an idea for what could be causing these storms, I found some information down in the room of requirement. Hope to see you there tonight. :) bye!

Narcissa was very happy at these words and decided that she would love chicken nuggets and brownies and couldn't wait to hear the answers to her curious thoughts. She knew she should write back and really wanted to although she needed to be cautious of the time as she had transfiguration in 5 minutes. She quickly scribbled a messy rough note in hope that Harriet would be able to read this sloppy writing.

Dearest Harriet,

YUM! CHICKEN NUGGETS!! I'm in Harriet mark my words I won't let anything stop me for those brownies! Yes, I have been very curious about these 'storms' and am very excited to hear the possible answer to them. There is also a lot I would like to fill you in on too! Anyway really sorry but I have to get to transfiguration very soon so sorry that my writing is messy, I hope you can read this. See you here at dinner!

She was about to leave when something tapped her shoulder she jumped and turned to see that it was Harriet

"Oh phew it's just you" She said with a giggle "listen, I'm really sorry but I can't exactly talk right now I have transfiguration in 2 minuets but I've written a letter, I'll talk to you later bye!"

"Okay bye, I have finished all my classes!" replied Harriet.

Narcissa smiled and walked out of the room of requirement with a little wave.

When she reached transfiguration she was late yet again but the class hadn't yet started but Narcissa was certain that professor McGonagall was awaiting her arrival so she could begin.

"Right! Now that you're here we can start" said professor McGonagall with a look of unsatisfactory. The whole class turned their heads to see Narcissa; everyone except Ivy. Narcissa was holding back tears now. She picked a seat next to some of the random people in Slytherin that had no friends and always sat with the gyrfindoors since there weren't any seats left. Narcissa felt like a loser sitting at that table. Narcissa glanced over at Ivy and frowned.

Dinner

After transfiguration it was nearly dinner time and Narcissa was on her way to the room of requirement. Narcissa made it without anything weird happening like usual so she was happy. Narcissa glanced around the room and paced up and down looking for Harriet then looking at her watch to realize she was ten minutes early so she opened her bag and began to finish off her homework. Narcissa suddenly became distracted by a painting of two women fighting and was suddenly reminded of Ivy. Narcissa couldn't hold it in anymore. Tears streamed down her face, Narcissa buried her wet face in her hands, sobbing and weeping quietly. She was suddenly glad that Harriet hadn't arrived and seen Narcissa like this. 'I'm a mess' she thought to herself. 'I sure hope Harriet comes late so she doesn't see me like this!'

"Why is Ivy so mad at me, what did I do?" She said to herself "well at least I have Harriet she's nicer than anyone else will ever be. Why can't she be in slytherin!" She sighed "Then we wouldn't have to keep our friendship a secret!" She couldn't stop crying it was too upsetting for her

"I'll just be a loser forever I'll just be that unpopular kid that has no friends and has to sit on the table with all the scummy griffindoor's!" She cried pools of tears. But then she felt a gentle tap on her shoulder, she noticed the gentleness of the tap and recognised it to be Harriet, she immediately turned to see that it was indeed Harriet. Narcissa quickly tried to wipe the tears to make it seem as though she hadn't been crying.

"Er hi….when did you um get here?"

"I've been here almost the whole time"

"Right then" Said Narcissa trying to make sure Harriet didn't bring up anything about why she was crying as she was now positive that Harriet had probably seen her bloodshot eyes.

"It's lovely here isn't it?" Said Narcissa again making sure nothing was brought up.

"Yes it is, now please do tell me what Ivy is doing to upset someone as strong as you, I might be able to help you feel better." Said Harriet ignoring the fact that Narcissa didn't want to tell her.

"Umm…" Narcissa started.

"Wait here,while I go and get my kittens, I want you to see them, have a brownie or some chicken nuggets while I'm gone" interrupted Harriet.

"Ok" replied Narcissa

"Huh?!" Said Narcissa as she felt something appear in her pocket "What was that" she says reaching for her pocket, she pulled out a necklace with a butterbeer cork as a charm. Narcissa's face lit up as she also saw a piece of parchment in her pocket, she read aloud "dearest Narcissa,

Your father and I are so proud that you made it into slytherin, we miss you so much and we are glad you've already made so many friends. I haven't told your father this but I couldn't help but watch over you and I saw that Ivy isn't speaking to you, I don't know why she's avoiding you and I can't really help you but I thought I would give you this charm to keep away the Nargles since I'm sure you don't want a pest stealing your stuff. I used this necklace when I was at school and it was quite helpful, just thought it would come in handy and might cheer you up a bit. Narcissa, I think it's great that you're friends with that Harriet girl. She seems very sweet and I know you've been keeping your friendship secret but don't worry I won't tell your father.shes just as witty and nice as her mother. I also just wanted to warn you that from what I saw when I was watching you was that you were hearing voices, from a mysterious man. I know who this man is but unfortunately I wouldn't risk telling you as lots of letters are being intercepted these days and it would be unsafe especially if the man himself found this, then he would know more about you, which makes it easier for him to get to you. Narcissa clutched the necklace to her chest smiling, then she immediately put the necklace one and while awaiting Harriet's return, she pinched a few brownies and ate almost half the tray of chicken nuggets.

"Mmmm!!!" Said Narcissa "that was delicious!!!" She said with delight as she rubbed her stomach.

Harriet let out a small giggle, "I see you liked the nuggets." Harriet nearly burst out laughing. Once she sat back down she let her small fluffy kittens out to play and meet Narcissa. While Narcissa played with Biscuit and Ginger, Harriet walked up to a broken grandfather clock that was positioned next to a small old fashioned armchair with rips in the fabric blanket that lay on top of it.

"Soo.. um they are...um Biscuit and...arr um Ginger… soo yeah...um..yeah?" Harriet said awkwardly, as she returned to the centre of the room where they had been talking.

"Aww they are very cute little sweeties!" Said Narcissa petting ginger.

Narcissa quickly lifted up her bag before Biscuit could nibble at it.

"Aww, thanks,I think they like you!" Said Harriet, smiling.

"Hah I'm sure they like how pretty I am" she said in a joking voice giggling "only joking" she said winking.

"Oh and also I did love the chicken nuggets and brownies, I nearly ate the lot" she said laughing.

"Aww thanks'' replied Harriet giggling. "Well, getting to it, I have been hearing voices, as you know, and the storms…. where is it?..." said Harriet flicking through one of the books she had found. "Ah here it is… it says Hogwarts has lots of chambers.Most of the chambers if they are opened something will be unleashed a bit like the chamber of secrets and the ballistic… see what I mean someone... ah hem the man who has behind the voice I keep hearing, might have opened a chamber which might have something to do with the storms." Explained Harriet excitedly.

"Well that's a great point it would only make sense!" Said Narcissa shocked with how Harriet had come up with this amazing amount of evidence "oh and I also needed to tell you that I heard the man as well only once though, and also my mother wrote to me" she said holding up the letter "she said that she thinks she knows about the man but wouldn't risk telling me because of all the thieves that Intercept letters these days"

"He must be well known then." Said Harriet.

"Mm!" Said Narcissa through a mouthful of brownies "I'm not just saying this because we're friends, I really do mean this… if you can figure out all of this stuff and have all of this evidence then maybe just maybe you would be able to propose this information and research to the ministry! I mean it all fits! They'll have to believe you and I'm sure my mother would be happy to help" she said, handing Harriet the letter and nodding to indicate that she should have a read of it.

"And my mum works there as well so it should work"

"It's perfect!"

"Hmmm interesting." Said Harriet turning the letter over in her hands. "So…. you got this when I went to get my cats… and I got a letter from the man behind the voices that both of us have been hearing, which is here…" said Harriet as she walked over to the bin and picked out the letter.

"You're joking!" Said Narcissa alarmed and surprised "that's so weird I wonder why. Wait what?! You put it in the bin?! Harriet this could be important!"

"No joke, well yeah, but he said some things that I am sensitive about, and I just couldn't bear anyone knowing about those things." Said Harriet embarrassed.

Narcissa frowned; she was pretty sure she knew that Harriet was talking about her mother being a muggle born.

"Fair enough," she said glumly.

"No one knows what happened but I can trust you, so you can read it, and I'm serious don't tell anyone, like not even my parents know." Harriet said seriously.

"I understand, if you are uncomfortable saying it you don't have to but I promise you no matter what it is I won't tell a soul mark my words" she said moving closer to Harriet.

"Thank you." Said Harriet. The letter that Harriet trusted Narcissa with said: Dear Harriet,

You are smart, I'm not going to lie. But I am smarter, so don't even try resisting. I know about the Ron and your mud blood mother breakup and how Ron Weasely is your actual father. And he is scum on the bottom of your shoes. And if you don't do as you are told then the whole school will know. - the man behind the voices-

Harriet Looked sick as she passed the letter to Narcissa. As Narcissa took it and opened it to read it, Harriet picked up Biscuit who was nibbling her toes.

Narcissa read it through it read:

Dear Harriet,

You are smart, I'm not going to lie. But I am smarter, so don't even try resisting. I know about the Ron and your mud blood mother breakup and how Ron Weasely is your actual father. And he is scum on the bottom of your shoes. And if you don't do as you are told then the whole school will know. - the man behind the voices-

Narcissa sat there and read it over and over speechless

"So.. um yeah… it's personal so um… please don't tell anyone." Begged Harriet sadly as she put Biscuit down.

"Oh Harriet" she said, throwing her arms over Harriet "I'm so sorry" Narcissa felt very bad and sorry for poor Harriet. Narcissa was also surprised at the letter that she held in her sweaty shaking palms. Narcissa ended her hug and said "well I'm so glad that you trust me as well, not many people would trust a death eater" she was suddenly reminded of Ivy and sighed but then cleared her thoughts and focused on the mystery that they were trying to solve. Narcissa was worried about what Harriet's mother would think of her if she helped them with the ministry proposal.

"Stop, just because you're a death eater doesn't mean that you are untrustworthy." Replied Harriet seriously.

"So…..Er" Said Narcissa awkwardly checking her watch with a yawn "we've been up here for a while"

"I have to go." Said Harriet as she got up and started packing her things up.

"Bye Harriet, I'll be sure to let you know when our next meeting will be" Said Narcissa putting her things carefully back into her bag and walking out the door.

The showdown

On her way back to her common room she heard it again the same ear piercing voice of the man who had been haunting them.

'Come to me! Now child I want you, I need you, you and your little friends will suffer! Oh hang on I just realised you don't have any friends you're so pathetic you little—' the voice was interrupted by a slytherin girl who she had not known

"Are you Narcissa?" She said looking down at a piece of parchment that she read the name off

"Mhm"

"Well I haven't got long to talk but I just wanted to introduce myself, you see I'm new to hogwarts my father died just before I got my hogwarts letter and came late."

"Oh—" Narcissa was interrupted by her

"Anyway my name is Sarah and my parents won't be to happy when they find out I'm in slytherin! But that's beside the point, what I needed to talk to you about was a girl named…..um I think it was...Er…..um….Ire?"

"You mean Ivy?"

"Yeah yeah that!"

"Oh well in that case—" Narcissa was yet again interrupted by Sarah

"I was trying to make friends and went over to a table with her and some other people on it, but they told me I wasn't cool enough to hang out with them" she said with a sigh "Ivy told me that if You want friends then you should go to someone with no friends like Narcissa go hang out with her" said Sarah immetating Ivy's snarl.

Narcissa clenched her fists "Right! That's it!" She said walking past Sarah with rage not even asking her any questions nor explaining what she was doing.

Narcissa stormed Down to the dungeon where she found Ivy, Crabe, goyle and Zachery sitting at a round table all shrieking with Hysterical laughter.

"IVY!" Narcissa yelled not even caring if people stared at her anymore "IVY COME OVER HERE RIGHT NOW YOU HAG!"

Ivy immediately turned to see a raging Narcissa whose face was as red as a rose and whose fists were as stiff as stone.

"Why should I?" She said smirking

"BECAUSE YOU ARE A FOUL GIT AND MAKE ME SOUND LIKE A CHICKEN WITH NO HEAD BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I DON'T CARE! HAVE IT YOUR WAY YOUR MAD AT ME FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU HAVE TO BE THIS IDIOTIC!!!!"

ivy's smirk faded from her face instantly as if she had just heard Narcissa say she was unsure what her own name was

"What on earth are you talking about? You do so know why I'm angry and if it doesn't bother you that I make you sound like that then how come you're so angry about it?" She said with a confused look and a smirk returning to her pug like face.

"I do not and if you could please tell me why that would be great! And if you do tell me, come alone!"

"Ok whatever I'll tell you later loser" she said rolling her eyes and laughing. Ivy turned to see Crabe, goyle and Zachery's reactions of laughter but to her surprise they weren't laughing in fact they weren't even showing any sights that they found Ivy's arguments amusing at all.

Zachery shook his head, stood up, glanced back at the others on the table and said "if you guys were smart enough you'd join me" and with that he turned and stood beside Narcissa

"Let's get out of here"

"Yeah" Said Narcissa and the two of them walked out.

Narcissa didn't feel at all guilty about her first impression to Sarah as that wasn't on her mind; she knew that she had more important things to worry about.

"Narcissa...I've been meaning to tell you….um please dome tell Ivy...but I'm on your side with this….I'm not sure if Crabe and goyle agree but I know that they definitely don't find her roasts funny like they would if it were James potter" the two of them laughed

"Yeah I understand what you mean, and thanks Zachery!"

"Ivy hasn't even told us about why she's mad"

"Weird, I s'pose she's just jealous" Said Narcissa with a smirk

"Huh?! What do you mean why would she be jealous? Jealous of what may I ask?"

"Oh….yeah that's right I haven't told you"

"Told me what?"

"I…..Er became a…..death…..eater….the night she was…..mad at me" she said fearfully but with a serious tone in her voice

"Oh right that um makes sense then—"

"But we don't know for sure." she said with a sigh.

It was as though the words had only just sinked into Zachery when he said

"Hang on! You're a death eater now?! How long have you—"

"Quick! In here!" She whisper yelled to Zachery

"Huh?!" Said Zachery

"Shh!!!" Narcissa led him into a broom Cupboard, then gave a sort of sign language as if to say a teacher was out there.

"Oh" he said in a whisper.

Narcissa and Zachery waited for the professor to pass, and when they were finally convinced that the teacher had passed they tip toed out of the broom cupboard

"Phew that was close"

"Mhm" Narcissa sighed

"Is it Ivy?"

"Yes" she groaned rolling her eyes at the thought of Ivy. "Oh sorry" she said suddenly remembering that she had just rolled her eyes in front of Zachery

"Don't sweat it"

Narcissa smiled

"C'mon let's go spy on Potter!"

"Aha of course!" She said laughing.

After spying on James Potter and a lot of laughter they decided to return to the broom cupboard.

Zachery and Narcissa didn't sleep in the common room that night they made a fort in the broom cupboard as they did not want to activate Narcissa's anger. Zachery and Narcissa had pillow fights, midnight snacks, imitation competitions and duels.

"Do you reckon we should put soundproof jinx's on the door?" Said Zachery calmly

"Yeah probably" replied Narcissa

After all their fun they decided that they should probably get some sleep.

The great oaf

The next morning After potions Narcissa and Zachery visited the quidditch pitch before their next class to talk;

"Did you hear?" Said Narcissa with slight distaste

"Hear what?" Asked Zachery

"Apparently that great oaf is still teaching at this blasted school!!" She said screwing up her face

"You're kidding!" He said sticking his tongue out with disgust

"You heard me right, did you check the time table?"

"No I normally check later"

"Oh because that's how I found out" she said handing Zachery a time table "see?"

Zachery read aloud; "Tuesday: potions with professor Severous Snape - 9:00 care of magical creatures with professor Rubuis Hargrid- 10:15. Well that's just great" he said lowering the parchment.

"Exactly 'great!' Hah well it is also great because we can beat the oaf sacked! Ya know what I'm saying" Narcissa said smirking

"I gotcha!" Said Zachery smirking too.

"Let's go teach him a lesson eh?"

"You know it!" He said, smirking even wider.

And with that the pair set off for care of magical creatures.

"Hang on!"

"Huh What is it, Zachery?"

"We've got our first lesson with the ravenclaws today" explained Zachery

"Oh really? Where did you hear that?"

"Oh just overheard people talking about it in the bathroom"

"Oh"

"Yeah, Anyway we better stop getting distracted otherwise we'll be late"

"Mhm good point"

And they reached hagrid's hut

"Ewww!"

"I know right this place is a mess, it's even worse than my father described" Said Narcissa.

"Well I hope we aren't learning about some stupid dangerous beast!"

"Agreed Narcissa. Hey, didn't your father get attacked by a hippogriff?"

"Yeah, now I'm a little scared not going to lie" she said gulping.

"They shouldn't be allowed to have a teacher that brings in foul beasts! It's dangerous!"

"Yeah I know right" Said Narcissa spitting on the ground.

"right let's get started 'en eh?"

The slytherins groaned while most of the ravenclaws seemed to be beaming with excitement.

Narcissa had completely forgotten; Harriet was in Ravenclaw, and it's our first class with the ravenclaws. Narcissa suddenly felt excited until she realized that Harriet would probably hate her for trying to get Hagrid sacked.

"Oh great!" She said to herself under her breath clenching her fists up tight in stress.

"Right now we ain't got long so I suggest we start. Now hold on just' gotta call em Hagrid whistled and with that a heap of what looked like monkeys came scuttling in.

Narcissa stepped back slowly until she bumped into a tree

"Ow" she whispered to herself.

"Wow, Radioactive monkeys!" Said Harriet and a few other Ravenclaws.

Zachery scowled "know it alls!" He said rolling his eyes "ravenclaws are just nerds am I right?"

"Er" Narcissa didn't agree with this and felt extremely guilty to say this but she knew she had no choice "Mhm yeah…..definitely" she replied with a Disguised sigh.

"I was just about to ask what those things were, but I see the smartie pants club have already filled us in with the details"

Narcissa said nothing for a while but then said "well, I guess at least it's much better than the scummy gryffindors and of course the loser club hufflepuff!"

"Haha yeah!"

"Right you ar', 5 points to Ravenclaw!"

"What already, just for answering a question!" Yelled a Slytherin student angrily.

Zachery scowled again "this oaf also has favourites as well"

"Yep he's a—"

"Er….What was your name again?" Said Hagrid awkwardly

"Um Narcissa Malfoy" She said coldly

"Oh well right then, would you care to join me Malfoy?" He said slightly anxiously

"Sure whatever" she said as she stopped leaning on the tree and casually walked over to Hagrid.

One of the monkeys came right round the cimmy circle of students sniffing everyone, but then it stopped in front of Harriet and pointed at her. Then all of a sudden the group of monkeys all came over and sniffed Harriet. After a few seconds they all shook their heads and continued to sniff everyone and stopped in front of Narcissa, sniffed, then they all ran to the middle and half of them exploded the other half ran around crazily. One of the many monkeys started at Narcissa then turned their back on her and faced the other monkeys. The other monkeys watched as the monkey in front of Narcissa attempted to point at Narcissa but instead the monkey's great arm knocked Narcissa and she fell to the ground...and suddenly everything went black. Her life flashed before her eyes.

She awoke to find someone standing over her crying "please wake up!" She said "will she be alright madam pomfrey?" Came a dreamy voice of the woman who was standing over her. Narcissa felt dizzy and her eyes couldn't focus but she wanted to know, no she needed to know who this woman was but all she could think about was how familiar the voice sounded "mother!" She said, releasing that Luna, her mother, was Standing crying looking down at her. Narcissa blinked a few times and saw that nobody was there standing over her she must have been hallucinating, she thought.

Narcissa sighed then realized she had been knocked out by one of the radioactive monkeys and was still in the forbidden forest surrounded by first years whispering, giving her looks, staring at her and trying to get away from the monkeys.

Narcissa tried to stand up but couldn't she didn't know what she would do now, all she could physically do was sit up and look around and that's what she did using all of her strength she pulled herself up into a sitting position and looked over at Hagrid, crosses her arms and threw him an angry look, but it turned out that Hagrid was not aware that Narcissa was on The ground as he was too big and was looking around saying things to himself like; " 'ere did she go?" And "outta all people why it gotta be Malfoy?!"

"Down here sir!" Said a ravenclaw girl who Narcissa didn't recognise. It mustn't be Harriet then, Narcissa thought to herself with a sigh

"Ey?"

"I said she's down here sir" she repeated loudly

"Oh there ya are"

Narcissa rolled her eyes "took you long enough" Narcissa mumbled under her breath so nobody heard.

"Well...Er Ivy would ya take 'er to the hospital wing?"

"Sure" she mumbled rolling her eyes and Narcissa could've sworn she'd heard her say "great, this is gonna be awkward!"

As Ivy approached Narcissa felt sick; why Ivy out of all people why her.

As Ivy escorted her to madam pomfrey Narcissa felt calmer than usual, usually she felt angry even just at the thought of her but now she felt much more calm.

"Er….Ivy?" She said

"Argh! What?!"

"Please tell me what I did wrong"

"Oh I'll tell you all right! YOU REPLACED ME!!!" She began to yell

"Huh!? What do you mean I replaced you?" Asked Narcissa confused

"Well the night you came back late could've sworn I heard you talking to somebody down in the chamber but I'm not a parselmouth so I couldn't get in, but anyway before that you were in the hallway and I was coming up from behind but as soon as I was about to tap on your shoulder; you ran!" She said clenching her fists and dropping her hands to her hips sassily.

"Oh, Ivy this was all a misunderstanding! I didn't realize you were there because believe it or not Lord Voldemort made me go to the chamber of secrets I was in a trance and he wanted me alone. I went with Nagini and I became a death eater!"

Ivy stared at the ground "N-Narcissa...will you accept my apology?" She said shyly going slightly pink and holding out her hand

Narcissa looked at her in shock but showed no sign of the surprise on her face "of course" she said calmly holding out her own hand and they shook hands.

"Well not gonna lie I've damn missed you" Said Ivy laughing

"Ha ha" Narcissa laughed "to be honest...me neither!"

And the two girls laughed and joked the rest of the way to the hospital wing.

The Strange nurse

Once Ivy and Narcissa reached the hospital wing they saw madam pomfrey struggling to walk in her high heels

"That's strange" Said Narcissa

"What?" Said Ivy

"Madam pomfrey, look she seems to be struggling to walk around in her high heels!"

"That's weird, but I always see her in her high heels and she walks perfectly straight and normal, but now...hang on! What if she's drunk?!" She said looking at Narcissa

Narcissa gasped "I'm sure that wouldn't be allowed!"

"Yeah good point" Said Ivy "but I can't imagine what else could've happened to her!"

"Hmm"

"Well more importantly, your bruises look quite bad Narcissa I think she ought to hurry up and cure your wounds" said Ivy seriously "Madam pomfrey?" She said trying to get her attention

"Yes?" She said in a slightly manly groan

"The great oaf has sent us up here because you need to treat Narcissa's wounds"

"Oh right o. Come here child"

"Er—"

"Come here!" She seemed slightly frustrated this time.

Narcissa said nothing and speed walked to the bed in the centre of the row

"Now what happened?"

"Er...well a radioactive monkey knocked me unconscious and—"

"And badly bruised as well as bleeding have you seen her leg?" Ivy interrupted

Madam Pomfrey was taken aback by this interruption but only said "what was your name dear?" To Ivy

"Ivy Parkinson" she replied

"Right then Ivy I think you ought to get back to class. I will deal with Narcissa and she will be fine."

Ivy said nothing but waved at Narcissa and bit her lip. After Ivy walked out Narcissa felt quite alone and very worried since madam pomfrey was acting very odd this morning.

Suddenly Narcissa was snapped back into focus as she heard a loud click and jangle, she then turned to see madam pomfrey locking the door.

"Er...madam pomfrey?"

"Yes dear?"l

"What….are you doing?"

"Nothing dear nothing, you just get some rest sweetheart—"

"It's not nothing! I know you're up to something, 1.your voice is funny 2. You're very wobbly walking in those heels, 3. You seem angrier than usual and 4. You locked the door!!"

"Well...Er" She said with a nervous chuckle as she pulled on her collar "um I just didn't...um want anyone to come in...while you were...resting"

"Highly likely" Narcissa said sarcastically rolling her eyes.

Madam Pomfrey, still acting unusual, was not even trying to cure Narcissa; instead she was facing the opposite direction muttering something to herself.

"Er Madam pomfrey?"

"Argh WHAT IS IT THIS TIME?!"

Narcissa's heart skipped a beat, "Do y-you have a...bandage?"

Madam Pomfrey sighed then groaned; "Yes" and went over to a trolley on wheels and grabbed some bandages.

As madam pomfrey walked over to Narcissa's bed her hair began to grow darker and darker, then her lipstick began to fade away.

Narcissa watched her bewildered

"What are you staring at?" She asked sounding quite insulted

Narcissa said nothing but pointed at her hair which was now becoming very short.

Madam Pomfrey pulled a spoon from her pocket and used it as a mirror when she saw what was happening she closed the curtains of every window in the hospital wing. She became a man wearing a very dirty ragored trench coat. Then the man pulled two belts from a pocket in his coat and strapped Narcissa's arms to the posts of her bed.

"What are you doing?" She yelled "who are you?"

"Hah! My name is Shagro and if you didn't know I'm the 'man' ha ha I got you good!"

"You? You're the person who's been threatening Harriet and I?"

"That's right! I used a polyjuice potion to be disguised as madam pomfrey so that I could get some information out of you!" Shagro said as he pulled out his wand and pointed it at Narcissa's face.

Narcissa panted; She was very worried about what he would do to her

"Don't worry I'll just need to get something from you" he said with an evil grin. Shagro pulled what looked like some sort of a knife, "now" he said, pulling his knife up closer to the ceiling "will you tell me the whereabouts of Hariet Granger?"

"NO NEVER!" she snapped back at him

"Right, well i guess we'll just have to do this the hard way then" shagro said with a hint of pleasure in his deep cool voice quite a bit like Snapes but less cold and depressing. Shagro pulled yet another thing from his trench coat, this time revealing a potion labeled: 'veritaserum' . Narcissa was told by her father not to mess with people that had veritaserum in their possession though unfortunately Draco refused to tell her what it was.

Narcissa asked shakily; "what do you plan to do with that?"

"Ah, this my dear is veritaserum and I plan to use it on you of course"

"Well i know that!" she snapped "but what does it do and what are you doing to me with it?"

"Aha well since you won't tell me where Harriet is i have no choice but to use this potion on you, and to answer your other question; it is a truth syrym and is incredibly strong! It could make you expose your deepest darkest secrets in seconds without hesitation."

Narcissa gasped "p-please don't use that on me sir"

Shagro laughed "ha ha ha! Silly little girl, I'm not going to listen to you! I need your answers and I might even use you for something other than information!" he said smirking "yes yes that's a great idea!"

"NO!!" she yelled.

"Ha ha ha. You stupid girl! You're just like your dear old mother; a freak and a weirdo!" He chuckled

"Don't say a word against my mother you old git!"

"Ooh not so friendly!" He said smirking in a babyish voice "well I don't see why you're friends with Miss Granger, since she's apparently very kind and smart unlike you! You're just a toad that stands between her and I!" Shagro spat.

"You know what—" Narcissa began

'CREEEEEEAACK'

"Huh?!" Said Shagro puzzled at the strange noise.

"STUPIFY!" Came a voice from the door.

Narcissa and Shagro both turned immediately to see that the door had been opened and standing there was Severous Snape.

"well well well, if it isn't Shagro Cromer!" He snapped smirking at the frozen figure of the man. Narcissa was panting very heavily in fright as she lay in the hospital bed, panting wildly at the scene and being pulled back by two leather belts. Narcissa struggled but it was no use, all she wanted to do right now was run straight to Harriet, she didn't care about that bad state that she was currently in. I need To speak to Harriet immediately! She thought to herself.

"Narcissa I want you to get out of here immediately" he said not looking at her

"But sir...I'm stuck!" She hesitated

Snape stopped and faced her "oh, I see" he said, raising his wand to aim at the top part of Narcissa's arms until….

"Snivellus!"

"Argh!" Snape mumbled through gritted teeth "what do you want Shagro?!" He spat back

"Well you see...dear Narcissa here….is already taken!"

"What are you talking about?" He said looking puzzled

"I mean she's mine Snivellus!"

"No no she is the dark lords, and I'm sure you wouldn't want me to inform him that you are here. Perhaps you would like to pay him a little visit you trader! What's that? Do I detect fear, Shagro?" He replied smirking

"You're mine aren't you Narcissa?" He said now facing Narcissa's pale face

"N—" She was interrupted by Shagro pulling out his wand

Shagro muttered a spell and with that an invisible string came out of his wand, grabbed Narcissa's head and made her nod. "You see, Snivellus, she is with me!"

"NO I...I—"

"Silence!!" Called Shagro retrieving The spell and instead used a different charm that made what looked like grey tape which performed a very quick dramatic motion then finally zooming towards Narcissa taped her mouth shut.

The vision

Suddenly Narcissa felt a numb sensation in her head, it was as if someone had knocked her unconscious, she felt light and like she wasn't in a bed in the hospital wing of a school, she was floating, flying, soaring, and her body felt as if it were a feather. All she could see was black, a blur she couldn't make out what it was, she wasn't in the bed anymore she was in a room hanging from the ceiling but the room was dark so dark that all she could make out was an outline of a girl wearing a cork necklace with long hair and she was trembling. It looks an awful lot like mother she thought to herself but as the figure moved closer and closer, Narcissa realized that it wasn't Luna in fact it was actually her. Narcissa's heart skipped a beat as she peered down upon herself wondering what she was witnessing. 'BANG!' She heard a loud noise come from the other side of the spacious room and her eyes were now focused on where the noise was coming from as was her 'other self' there was silence for a minute. 'BANG!' There was another disturbance from the same spot Narcissa tried moving and it worked She glided towards the noise and saw herself walking towards it to be her other self was walking much slower and carried obvious fear with her.

"Narcissa?" She said to her imaginary self, but unfortunately she wasn't heard.

Suddenly the other Narcissa was very close to the thing that had made noises, and the real Narcissa went very close to discover that the noises were coming from a large door. 'BANG!' It made the alarming noise again it caused the dark door to rattle slightly before bursting open; letting a mysterious creature escape.

It was an eagle who soared over and perched itself on Narcissa's shoulder and screeched; "maybe in wise old ravenclaw, if you've a ready mind, where those of wit and learning will always find their kind." and flew off back through the door, but the door did not close instead another creature came out from it, this time running it ran over to the Narcissa below and roared; "you might belong in gryffindor where dwell the brave at heart their daring nerve and chivalry set gryffindors apart." It was a lion that had come but just as she realized that the lion pounced back behind the door. Thirdly something scuttled over to the shaking Narcissa and it weaped; "or maybe hufflepuff is the house for you, where they are just as loyal, those patient hufflepuffs are true and unafraid of toil."

And lastly something slithered towards Narcissa as she stood there now not as frightened as she knew it was a snake. The snake hissed something and Narcissa translated the sentence in her head which was; "or perhaps slytherins the place for you, you'll make real friends, those cunning folk use any means to achieve their ends." As the snake took off Narcissa was feeling so many mixed emotions that were rattling inside her which included; confusing, curiosity, fear, misplaced,weak…

Back to earth

Narcissa no longer felt the sensations of lightness instead she felt cold,heavy and frightened! She was seeing black again but It wasn't the same, this time she wasn't peering into a dark room, she was lying in the bed that she was in once before. She felt a cold stare and opened her eyes to see shagro cromer looking into her unusual coloured eyes. However She didn't see Professor snape. Narcissa sat up as much as she could as she was binded by brown leather belts to the posts of her bed. She tried to speak forgetting that there was tape covering her mouth and her words came out as mere mumbles and grunts.

"You are as stupid as your silly mother!"he barked "you're stupid, but useful! You see, Narcissa I need your dear friend Harriet, because her mother will be very valuable for my plans. Now where were we? Oh yes that's right, I'll give you one more chance Miss Malfoy Tell me the exact whereabouts of Harriet Granger!" shagro then ripped off the tape which made Narcissa's lip bleed dramatically.

"Never!" she spat back at him

"Oh, I see how it is, I'll just have to get my veritaserum back out!" He said grinning.

"OK,cool go ahead I honestly don't care!" she said hiding her fear

"Ooh no wonder you're a slytherin!" he chuckled.

All Narcissa could think about was where snape had sped off to. "Where is snape shagro?" she demanded

"Oh yes I know what you're trying to do here! Did you really think that you could possibly change the subject did you!?" He said with a chuckle "oh well you've had your chances—"

"WAIT!" she yelled

"What is it now cissy?!" He said sounding very irritated

"Let me write my last words to my family please"

"You'll just call for help!"

"No no I don't have an owl silly! Who's the stupid one now?" She said smirking and sticking her tounge out

"And why would I let you do that?" Said Shagro

"Oh you know I just thought that maybe I would tell you more if that was out of my head, but I guess you don't agree...so—"

"Oh fine you stupid git" he said carelessy tossing a small creased and dirty old piece of parchment.

Narcissa immediately scribbled down a note to Harriet;

Dearest Harriet,

Please help me, Shargo Cromer (aka the man behind the voices) has got me imprisoned in the hospital wing.I need help please rescue me as soon as possible as I don't have long until he uses his veritaserum on me for answers. I'll try and stall him for as long as I can. He is on the search for your mother so be Cautious.

"Electro sacronum!" She said and the letter vanished

"What are you doing?" Asked Shagro sounding slightly worried

"Oh just sending my letter" she said smirking

Shagro gaped at her "but...you don't...have an owl...h-how did you send it?!" He said looking very worried now.

"Oh just used a spell that my Aunt made up" she said looking cheerful and smug

Shagro gaped again But was apparently lost for words.

He then angrily pulled another leather belt from his pocket but this on was a black leather belt and looked surprisingly clean and new. Shagro Cromer tossed the belt in the air, when it came back down again it flew straight at Narcissa and grasped her by the neck, before binding itself even tighter around her pale skin causing her face to slowly begin turning a shade purple-blue.

"That'll teach you, you little rascal!" He said, sounding frustrated but pleased by his actions.

She was running out of air through the tight belt and she couldn't try and release herself. She quickly discovered that each time she struggled in the clutch of the belts they all became tighter.

Hope

Her bottom lip trembled as tears welled in her green-white eyes. Narcissa was beginning to lose all hope of ever seeing her family again but that didn't upset her as much as the fact of never seeing her best friend Harriet ever again she cried even harder just seeing Harriet's beautiful appearance in her mind she sighed and thought about what would happen if she could talk to Harriet and say her last words.

'screech' there suddenly came a loud disturbance from across the room it boomed in like an intruder breaking in, but it wasn't an intruder it was actually Harriet and what appeared to be; her father clutching onto wands.

"Stupefy!" Shouted Harriet's father before Shargo could even pull his wand from his robe.

Harriet rushed over to Narcissa, pointed her wand at a belt that was around Narcissa's neck.

"Obliviate!" And then she repeated the spell on the other belts tying Narcissa down. After all the belts had been removed, Narcissa sat up and panted heavily. Harriet pulled Narcissa into a hug as Harriet bursted into tears. After a little while Harriet let go.

"I was so worried about you!" Shouted Harriet.

"Where have you been? Why didn't you come quicker?" Narcissa asked throwing Harriet a worried look of curiosity

"Well a radioactive monkey exploded on top of me so I had to go home for a while." Replied Harriet bursting back into tears.

"oh , i'm so sorry are you alright?"

At that moment Shargo stirred and slowly rose from the ground. Harriet's father realised and then a duel broke out. Between shouting curses and shielding himself Harriet's father shouted over to the girls to get out and get dumbledore to help.

The girls ran as fast as they could to the great hall. When they got there Narcissa didn't follow after Harriet and ran into the hall shouting for Dumbledore, instead she waited outside as her injured leg could not not support her weight especially when she ran. Suddenly two people emerged from the great hall; Harriet and the headmaster dumbledore by her side. From her Crooks enjoyment. Dumbledore hurried along with Harriet, and then Narcissa joined back to the small group of people on a mission to stop Shagro. When they reached the entrance to the hospital wing, they could hear spells being shot back and forth. But Narcissa's wounds were so painful she couldn't contain herself, she collapsed in a heap on the stone floor unconscious.

She woke in the Slytherin common room looking up confused at the caring eyes of madam pomfrey "oh dear it looks as though you've got a black eye sweetheart" said madam pomfrey looking down at Narcissa biting her lip. Slytherins were staring at her from all directions bewildered. And later that day Dumbledore called her and Harriet to his office. To tell them that Shargo has been taken to Azkaban and that no one was injured last night. That night there was a feast in the name of Harriet and Narcissa. And they each got 50 house points for their unmistakable courage and modesty, just beating the Griffindoors and Making Slytherin and Ravenclaw draw, both winning the house cup!

The whistle blew once more as the train was nearing departure. It was even more sad then that she was leaving her parents. Now it wouldn't be Draco and Luna she would be leaving, it would be Harriet Granger, her favourite person that she had grown so close to over the year.Narcissa couldn't bare to say good bye to her best friend and the beloved school that she had only attended for one year but was so grateful for.

Tears welled in the girls eyes as they hugged goodbye. Narcissa was thinking about what mysteries they would unveil next year.when the train began to puff steam as it started slowly moving, Narcissa quickly clambered on and left heading back home. Narcissa stared out the window of her carriage at the beautiful scenery of Hogwarts for the last time this year.

Harriet's view

The one and only letter

Harriet was sitting in the kitchen with the window open, letting the warm summer breeze fill the kitchen as she read a book, when all of a sudden...the soup in the cauldron sizzled as something brown fell into it."Mummy something fell in the cauldron!"

"Then can you pick it out please!"replied her mother from up the stairs. Harriet always did as she was told. After she picked out the thing that had fallen into the cauldron of soup she looked down at it and realized that it was a letter that was addressed to her. She opened the letter with a smile on her face, she knew what it was….

"Mummy, Daddy I got the letter for Hogwarts! I got it, look!" Squealed Harriet as she flew up the stairs. " I knew you would get it, you started making magic before you even entered the world!" Cried Hermionie; Harriet's mother.

"YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!" Squealed Harriet again. After cooling down she read the letter aloud. "it says: Dear Ms Granger,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.Term begins on the 1st of September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.First-year students will require: 1. Three sets of plain work robes 2. One plain pointed hat for day wear 3. One pair of protective gloves 4. One winter cloak and a list of books"

Harriet passed the letter to her mother

"Let's go to diagon alley now!" anonoced Hermione after looking through all the essential supplies.

"Eeek! I can't believe this day has finally come!" Said Harriet eagerly with a rush of excitement "at last I will walk through those big iron gates just like my mother and father before me did" she added to herself with a hint of pride.

"Are you ready dear?"

"Got all your stuff Harriet?" Said Harriet's father with a kind and warm smile

"Yes! I was born ready" replied Harriet with a slight little giggle

"Alright then get all your stuff and we will travel by floo powder" said Hermione to Harriet with a little nod and a wink from her father. When Harriet returned from getting her things she heard her parents talking about her, so she stopped and listened.

"If she gets in Slytherin-" snapped her father but was interrupted

"If she gets put in Slytherin it doesn't matter..." argued Hermionie

"It does matter, if she gets put in Slytherin it means that she will turn bad and we will have to disown her. just look at how you know who turned out" replied Harriet's father angrily. Then they realized that Harriet had heard that whole conversation.

"I can't believe you just said that, daddy!" she trembled before bursting into tears. She ran up the many stairs to her bedroom where she got a pillow and cried into it. Suddenly she didn't feel so good about going to hogwarts, her sense of pride was lost...

Her mother came in after a little bit, Hermionie had gone and got all the things that Harriet needed. "Mummy I don't want to go to Hogwarts anymore." sobbed Harriet

"Darling I was scared as well but after I read the spell books and well basically all the books I felt a lot better. Here I got you some extra books as well." replied Hermionie as she handed Harriet all her new books and robes.

Then there was a knock on the door and Harriet's father came in. "Look darling I don't think that this is the right time now go back down stairs." Reacted Hermionie

"No, forgive and forget!" Said Harriet.

"Your lucky your daughter is so nice" replied Hermionie shaking her head

"Well she takes after you with all the brains and the sweetness and the good looks" replied Harriet's Father. Then Harriet's parents started kissing.

"Ewwwww, not in my bedroom!" Reacted Harriet looking disgusted

"Oh right sorry" said Harriet's parents in union, before going all embarrassed.

Meeting The Unknown

Harriet started studying hard and she began to become so smart that she had almost reread all of her school books before her education had even started. plus she loved studying especially when her Mother or father came in and studied with her as she enjoyed the friendly company. Then one day, Harriet was just studying in her bedroom, when both her parents came in with their hands behind their backs "darling you have been working so hard lately, so we got you a new trunk to pack your things in. It's bigger and there is a secret compartment for your books!" Said Harriet's mother.

"Wow!" Said Harriet with wide eyes, " thank you so much"

"Your welcome, now you better get packing, you're leaving tomorrow!" Said her father as they left Harriet's room.

"I hope she will make friends quickly,"said Harriet's father.

"She will. I mean she is related to Harry Potter and Ron Weasely."

On the platform: "bye mummy, bye daddy! Love you!" Yelled Harriet over the noise from the train.

"Bye darling! Love you soooo much that it would take too long to express how much I love you!" Yelled Hermionie back. "So does daddy, don't you?" She said while nudging Harriet's father in the ribs.

He mumbled a "huh, oh yeah I love you too bye." While still staring at a family with white slick hair. "Who are they?" Asked Harriet pointing at the white slick haired family. "They are the Malfoy's, and keep away from them and their daughter if you can unless she is being picked on then help her okay."

"Okay!" Replied Harriet " TOOT!" went the train. " gotta go bye I will miss you bye!"

"We'll miss you more bye!" Yelled back her parents as tears stang Hermionie's eyes. "She will be fine, she will be fine" Hermionie kept repeating in her head as she waved at her daughter in a carriage by herself, Hermionie smiled, and Harriet smiled back but it was a small sad smile.

On the train:

Harriet sat in a carriage by herself. She felt lonely as she waved to her parents through the window. She felt stinging in her eyes as the train went round the corner. Then "creak" went the compartment door and a boy around her age holding a rat stepped in with his worn out shoes . "Hello,... wait don't tell me….. Harriet!" Said the boy.

"Um hi?" She replied unwillingly.

" So Harriet, I think we should get some cauldron cakes and eat them together !" He said confidently.

"Um no we only just met and I don't even know your name" she replied.

"Well I'm gonna do a spell stand back…" he said randomly

" I am sitting down…" she said in a smarty pants voice

"Oh yeah well sit back……… Sunshine, daisies, butter mallow, turn this stupid fat rat yellow!" The spell did nothing at all.

" Are you sure that's a real spell?"

"Yes!"

"Well it's not very good is it?"

" hmmf! Well I bet you can't do a better spell!" Said the boy as he walked out of the compartment. Then he returned because he had left his rat in there, " I am Ronald Weasely's son Fred Weasely!"

" I know a very good spell, hand me those broken shoes… oculus reparo!" she said and the shoes were fixed. The boy put on his shoes back on and then he turned on his heel and walked out. Then later she went out to see what she could get at the food trolley, but as she went out there she realised that she was in the carriage behind Narcissa Malfoy. She knew that because of the two big muscled boys that look like Crabe and Goyle from when Draco was a child. " What do you want, little girl?" asked the trolly lady.

"Ummmm ……." Harriet replied." I don't know, there are so many choices!"

Then she heard somebody say something.

"Errr….um hi" said a shy female voice, kind of awkwardly . So she turned around and there was Narcissa Malfoy.

She saw Narcissa looking at the books Harriet was holding.

" oh Hi, I'm Harriet Granger and your Narcissa Malfoy!" She replied enthusiastically. "I love you snake, it's so cool, so is your hair." She really wanted some friends.

"Yes, that's me, hi Harriet, my father and mother have told me all about your parents" added Narcissa with a slight friendly smile. Narcissa began to stroke her snake's scaly skin.

"Thank you, that's very kind of you, by the way this is Sapphire" Narcissa said pointing towards her snake.

"Well I'll let you continue ordering your food, before the trolley lady yells at us" Narcissa said awkwardly with a small smile " it was nice meeting you Harriet, and I'm sure we will meet again some time."

" I'm sure we will and it was nice meeting you too!" Harriet said

Narcissa smiled. Harriet decided what she wanted, so she turned around and got a chocolate frog and some Bertie Botts every flavour of beans.

Later Harriet desidered that she needed to go to the toilet, and she had to pass Narcissa's carriage. When she came out she saw Narcissa outside her carriage with one of her friends.

" oh I must be the only one to not have any friends yet" she thought to herself. As she passed Narcissa and her friend she heard the girl Narcissa was talking to say: "you're a parselmouth aren't you?" but she didn't hear what else she said because she couldn't just stop right there cause that would be obvious and she needed to go to the toilet. When she got back from the toilet Narcissa was still outside her carriage laughing and joking around until they saw her coming past. As she walked past Narcissa's friend gave her a mean stare, but Narcissa sort of smiled at her. Harriet wanted to ask Narcissa about what she had heard. But she felt like Narcissa would think that she was eavesdropping so she decided to say nothing. But Narcissa did break the silence by saying : "what were you saying Ivy?" and then the girl said: " "Oh yes, um so how was your summer?"

"Err it was good yeah" replied Narcissa awkwardly

"That's well um good I guess"

"Mhm Yep, how was yours?"

"Alright"

"That's err um...alright? Then?"

"Yeah"

Harriet did not like that so she couldn't help but burst into tears, and ran back to her carriage. She should've listened to her father. She wasn't very nice and she heard Narcissa and her friends laughing most likely about her. She felt so lonely and that she had no friends. At least no real friends. So she buried her head in a book and read it for the rest of the trip.

The station

As Harriet got off the train, she saw Narcissa and her friend walking ahead of her. She took this as her opportunity to show she was not going to be picked on or laughed at. So she ran ahead and sort of bumped her quite hard on the shoulder and continued running ahead.

Narcissa yelled "OWCH! WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!" But she kept running. She was still holding her books when they were rowing their boats over to the castle. Harriet was in a boat with lots of other smart people. She had got there way before Narcissa and her friends so that she could get in a boat and wouldn't have to be with Narcissa. She quickly became friends with them, they all really wanted to get into Ravenclaw. She finally felt like someone other than her parents actually understood her. In the dark she smiled to herself. But the happiness only lasted a few seconds because as they approached the castle, she remembered what her father had said '"It does so matter, if she gets put in Slytherin, it means that she will turn bad and we will have to disown her."' She was back to be really unsure about coming to Hogwarts. But it must have shown on her face, because Helena ( one of the friends Harriet made) said " It's natural to be scared, but you have nothing to worry about, cause you're really, really smart, you're definitely going to get put into Ravenclaw!"

The sorting hats words of wisdom

As they walked up the stairs and into the great hall Harriet kept looking over her shoulder at Narcissa to see what she was doing. But she couldn't see her so she stopped looking over her shoulder and looked up at the professors instead. She felt excited now because she knew Helena was right. Without realising she was already at the professors table with all eyes up at the first year's. Everyone started clapping. Then one by one all the children got sorted. All of Harriet's real friends got put into Ravenclaw. All of Narcissa's friends had been sorted into Slytherin. Then it came to Narcissa's turn "SLYTHERIN!"

"Argh of course she got in Slytherin," Harriet thought to herself. Now she was the last one left. "Granger Harriet!" She stepped forward, everyone was watching her, the hat touched her head and took a few seconds to decide that she was a… "RAVENCLAW!" " yes!" She thought in her head. She skipped over to her new friends Harmonie, Helena and Rosemary at the Ravenclaw table. Then Professor Dumbledoor talked a bit about the Forest in the grounds being forbidden and some other stuff of which Harriet was not listening because she saw someone looking in through the glass behind the professors. She straight away knew it was not a staff member but someone uninvited. But then food appeared on their plates and they all tucked in, they were all laughing and talking. When dessert came Harriet looked back at the window before she got started on her cakes, and the person in the window was still there but this time she was sure they were a man, and he was looking straight at her.

The man

She was so scared that she started reciting her spells under her breath. She felt the colour drain out of her face. She lost her appetite. But she couldn't stop looking at the glass where the man was. The man continued to watch her. She was sure she recognised him but she couldn't put a finder on it. She was so glad when all the food disappeared, and professor Dumbledoor sent everyone to bed. She shared a dormitory with Harmonie, Helena, Rosemary, Kiki, Astrid and Halima. She liked all of those girls. And they were already best friends.

The nightmare

The man was watching her. She couldn't bear it any longer, she had to tell the professors. So she got up and walked up to professor Dumbledoor. The room fell silent as she walked up to him. " P-professor t-there is a man in the window behind you and he is watching me. And I don't feel safe" she said in a whisper. Although she said it in a whisper her words still echoed in the silence. Narcissa and her friends were laughing at her as she spoke. Dumbledoor turned around and saw the man. But then the man smashed the glass, killed all the professors and then kidnapped her…. " huh, huh, huh" she panted as she woke up. " That was a bad nightmare." she said to herself. She couldn't get back to sleep so she decided to write to her parents. She wrote: 'Dear Mother and Father,

I miss you, I had an interesting day. I sat by myself for the whole train ride, but when I went to get something from the trolley and I met Narcissa Malfoy, she seemed nice then but she isn't and she might be a parseltongue. But I was sorted into Ravenclaw which I am over the moon about. Um I made some new friends, their names are: Helena, Harmonie, Rosemary, Kiki, Astrid and Halima. Love you and miss you lots. Love Harriet'. After she sent off her letter she fell straight asleep.

The First lessons

When Harriet woke up again it was morning. Then she wrote another note but this time for Narcissia she wrote: 'To Narcissa,

You seemed nice yesterday, and as if you actually wanted to be friends with me, but you don't because otherwise you would have said something to me when I passed you. But I still need to talk to you about something so can you meet me outside the great hall at 4:00? Please send a note back.' She put the note into the pocket of her robes, and then ran down for breakfast. She had some bacon and eggs. Then she got up and remembered the note so she told her friend to walk without her because she needed to do something. Harriet waited outside the hall for Narcissia to come out. She saw Narcissia coming out so she went over to her. Then Harriet hanned Narcissia the note when she reached her. Harriet said " read it in private and if you can come then come alone." She then ran off to her class holding her books. " There you are I've been wondering where you were!" Exclaimed Rosemary when Harriet got to their first class. Their first class was charms. They were learning how to cast the spell Lumos. Charms was already Harriet's favourite class. Next she had transfiguration which she did really like as well.

The man again

At break Harriet felt so energised because she had done really well in the first two lessons so far. But it didn't last that long because she saw the man again while she was sitting by the lake with her friends and her toes in the water. But this time the man was walking up to her. She felt the colour drain out of her face again. She had hoped that she was just seeing things when she saw the man but she was not dreaming. As the man came towards her she started to feel dizzy and didn't feel so good. The man was tall, but it turned out he was only a boy. Or was he a man she didn't know. Thankfully the bell rang for class, so she quickly packed up her things, so did her friends and they ran back to the castle. "Saved by the bell!" Harriet thought to herself. They had a history of magic lesson now, she walked into the classroom, took a seat, and then everything went black….

The Meeting

When she woke up she was in the hospital wing. Madam Pomfrie was taking care of her. She looked up at the clock. " oh no its 3:35"

" I need to go now!" she told Madam Pomfrie.

" okay but come back at five o'clock okay?"

" okay! Thanks" Harriet said as she got up slowly, then she walked out of the hospital ward.

She went up the Ravenclaw common room, when she got there she saw Narcissa waiting at the Ravenclaw common room door.

" oh hi… what do you want?" asked Harriet in a disgusted tone.

Narcissa quickly stuffed the note into Harriet's hands and ran off back towards her dormitory.

Harriet walked into the Ravenclaw common room and up to the dormitory to read the note.

The note said: Dear Harriet

I really need to talk to you too, I am happy to meet at 4:00 and I will try my best to make it there alone.

Harriet felt a little bubble of excitement. She flew down all the stairs and waited outside the hall after afew minutes Harriet saw Narcissa trying to get her gaze. Harriet looked into Narcissa's white eyes. They stood there just looking into each other eyes, Narcissa staring into pools of green, and Harriet staring into pools of white.

Narcissa cleared her throat to break the awkward silence, and said "you...Er wanted to um talk...to me?" Said Narcissa awkwardly.

" Hi,Narcissa." Said Harriet. " come in here…" harriet pointed to an old classroom

" yeah I did want to talk to you, now come in here" she walked into the old classroom. Her voice sounded harsh and serious."Er ok" replied Narcissa as she followed Harriet into the old unoccupied classroom.

" I heard you and ... Ivy I think her name is, talking on the train because I got up to go to the toilet. I overheard her ask you if you were a parselmouth ,Are you a parselmouth?" Harriet asked seriously.

"Er….okay" she sighed "Yes, I am a parselmouth but keep it a secret! Ok!?"

" Okay, I promise but make one wrong move and I will tell everyone." Harriet replied

"Look Harriet, if my father finds out that people know he'll kill me!"

" well I'm not stupid! I Know Your Father is Draco Malfoy, but still I don't care, I heard you and your friend laughing about me while I was in the carriage behind you!"

"Well I'm not stupid either, of course I knew you were in that carriage, but you don't understand! I wasn't actually laughing so maybe you misheard it was my friends laughing and I don't find it funny, I really need to talk to you about this issue!"

" Fine, then go ahead!" she said irritably

"Okay, Thanks! The truth is I want to be friends with you! And if I ever do something rude it's only in front of my friends because I don't want them to not like me, but please don't tell anyone" she said with a sigh.

" I won't, but if you have to impress them to make them like you then they aren't real friends." she said turning around and walking to the door.

"They are! I'm not trying to impress them, I just want to have friends!"

" cool, well anyway my friend's are probably looking everywhere for me, my father told me to stay away from you I wished I had, and don't ever talk to me again!" Harriet said walking out.

"I will talk to you when I please," she said, walking off.

Harriet ran away in the opposite direction, with tears in her eye but the only two thoughts in her head were: ' where are my friends?' and ' what! She thinks she owns me, she is so like her father.' She found her friend's but then had to go to the hospital wing again because it was 5:30.

The Apology

Harriet woke up in a state of distress. She felt so bad for Narcissa because of what she said, yesterday, so she wrote her another note. The note read: Dear Narcissa,

I am sorry for the way I acted yesterday. I just was still upset because of what you said on the train. I do want to be friends with you even if it has to be a secret. I promise I won't tell anyone that you can …… see your secret is safe with me. To show that I am truly sorry if you ever need help with your homework you can come to me.

Harriet put the note in her pocket and they went down for breakfast.

She saw Narcissa at the Slytherin table looking at the cereal in her bowl. She wanted to give Narcissa the note then but Narcissa was with her friends, and it would give everything away. Harriet saw Narcissa get up and go into the courtyard. So she got up herself, told her friends that she needed some fresh air and didn't want anyone to go with her. They were fine with it. So she went out and saw Narcissa sitting alone on a bench. She went over to her.

" um… Hi?" Harriet said. " um I'm really sorry about what happened yesterday. Um…"

She put the note into Narcissa's hands, waved and ran off back to her friends. She felt better now that she had told Narcissa that she was sorry.

The ravenclaw 'storm'

That night when all the girls were snuggled up in bed, laying soundlessly in the night.

" BANG…..BANG!"

"Arrr… what was that?" Asked Halima.

" I don't know" replied Harriet as she got up and went to see if the whole of Ravenclaw had the 'storm'. They all had. Then Professor Mcgonagall barged in.

"What in the world is all the commotion about?"

" ms didn't you hear it?"

"Hear what?"

"The storm! There was thunder!"

"Go back to sleep, I will not have any of this nonsense! Don't think I don't know what all you first years are up to!"

"Whatever do you mean professor?

"I think you all know what I'm talking about. We've had all houses except Hufflepuff with the same silly prank! And they were all on different nights! Hufflepuff better not be saying the same lie tomorrow! Now good night!" She said slamming the door behind her.

Harriet went back to bed but couldn't get back to sleep.

Help!!!

That morning when she was walking to class all of a sudden, she stopped walking and she screamed, Harriet had heard a voice in her head and the voice said: " little girl, come to me, come to me, I need you. Come to me, come to me. Your mud blood mother will die if you don't come, come to the Chamber of Secrets, come to me, come to me now!" Harriet felt sick, she had to go otherwise her mother would die!

Everyone came running to see what the scream was about. All the teachers came out of classrooms to see what was wrong. But professor Flitwick took Harriet up to the Ravenclaw Common room. Harriet saw Narcissa waiting outside the door with a bit of parchment; she slipped it into Harriet's pocket as she walked past and winked at Harriet as she passed her. When she got up to the dormitory she layed down and when everyone left for class she opened the parchment and looked at what Narcissa had written as she read it a smile spread across her face. The letter read: dear Harriet,

I am so glad you gave me that note, I couldn't live with myself after the argument and felt the same sorrow that you had described, I'm so glad we are friends again and I really appreciate your offer for help with homework. Your a really sweet girl and thanks for keeping it a secret

Harriet smiled happily. She wrote back to Narcissa:

Dear Narcissa,

Yay we are friends again! I have something to tell you. You are probably wondering what happened I'll tell you but you can't tell anyone ok?

So when I was walking to class I heard a voice in my head not like a decision voice but as if someone was talking to me, it was a male voice. The voice said ' little girl, come to me, come to me, I need you. Come to me, come to me. Your mud blood mother will die if you don't come, come to the Chamber of Secrets, come to me, come to me now!' I'm scared. And I have been seeing a man through the window behind the professors table in the great hall! Please help!

-Yours truly scared Harriet Granger- Harriet waited patiently at the slytherin common room awaiting the arrival of Narcissa, when she saw Narcissa she smiled and handed her the note.

"If only there were a secret place we could meet!" Narcissa said with a sigh, but then suddenly the wall began to move and a door appeared in the wall. Both Narcissa and Harriet looked at each other shocked!

"Should we open it?" Both girls said in unison

"I guess so" Said Narcissa as she began to twist the door handle, it made a loud crack and swung open they stepped in and Harriet suddenly knew where they were

"Hang on! We're in the room of requirement!"

"We should meet up here!"

"Yeah! We could put a special letter box here that only us two can open and close and we'll put all our letters in here and check it frequently"

"Great thinking Harriet!" Narcissa replied "well I have defence against the dark arts in five minutes" she said looking at her watch. "I guess I'll see you here at….5:00 tonight?"

"Can't then maybe 4?"

"Ok,got it see you then I guess" she said with a friendly wave

" yeah, bye, oh and don't forget to read the note!" Said Harriet

"Got it! I'll read it as soon as I'm alone after defence against the dark arts" Narcissa said as she walked out of the room of requirement.

She ran down the hall towards her classroom.

Harriet quickly got down to potions in the dungeon. She wasn't the first one there but she wasn't late either.

" Hello, ms Granger" said Professor Snape in a cold voice.

"Hello, thank you for the potion earlier sir." Harriet replied.

" your welcome"

" Everyone take a seat!" Said snape.

Harriet found a seat with her friends and put her stuff down. After what seemed a short session she went up to change in her dormitory before going to the room of requirement.

The voice again

She heard the voice again but this time it said: " you didn't come, your mud blood mother will die soon if you don't come NOW, I already have your mother she will die, come to me, come to the chamber of secrets NOW! Come to me, child come, come!"

" ARRRRRRRGH!" screamed Harriet as she ran everything was a blur she knew where to go considering her mother was part of Harry Potter's friend group. When she got to the out of order girls bathroom she went in. She saw her mother unconscious on the ground next to the man in the window, she had recognised him because he was meant to be in Azkaban.She started crying.

" WHAT DO YOU WANT!!!" She sobbed loudly.

" hush child" he said in a whisper.

" DON'T CALL ME CHILD!" she shouted at the top of her voice.

" hush" he whispered

" STUPIFY!" She yelled, then he flew across the room and hit his head on the wall but he quickly Apperated before the teachers could get there. She sobbed over her mother's body. Then the door banged open and the teachers rushed in.

" what happened, what happened?" Asked Professor Mcgonagle.

" a man… sob…sob...S-shargro...sob…..C-cromer...sob" Harriet replied.

" no he's is in Azkaban"

"It was him!"

"Come with me I'll take you to the hospital."

"What about my mum?"

"She is only unconscious, we will take her as well, Snape can you carry her?"

"Yess…" he replied looking at Hermionie's body.

"I'm fine!"

Harriet tried to get out of the hospital wing quickly. "I'm fine, I'm fine!" She kept repeating. When she finally was allowed out it was 3:45. She ran to her dormitory to get her things. Then she ran down all the stairs to the spot where the door had opened up to reveal the room. She waited for Narcissa to come. Her face was still wet with tears from crying. She had her books and papers in her satchel and her cat's carrier things in her hands. "Where is Narcissa……..maybe her other friends started questioning where she was going?" Thought Harriet to herself. "I really want her to meet my cats,see my papers of thinking and things that caught my eye." Soon Harriet's mind started wandering to cupcakes, kittens and math problems. Harriet eventually decided to go into the room because it had opened up. She got out her cats: biscuit and Ginger and started playing with them. By 5:00 Harriet had given up and packed up her things. She went back to Ravenclaw common room, put her things away and then went down for dinner. When she walked into the great hall she immediately looked over at the Slytherin table to see if Narcissa was there, her friends were there but Narcissa wasn't. Harriet was really confused.

"Narcissa?"

"Where is Narcissa?" Thought Harriet as she walked over to the Ravenclaw table. She caught her friends in a heated conversation.

"He is sooo cute!" Argued Harmonie.

"He is not!" Said Helena defensively.

"Is!" Said Halima.

"Not!" Said Rosemary.

"Is!" Said Kiki.

"NOT!" Yelled Astrid.

"What are you arguing about?" Asked Harriet.

"Whether or not Harry Potter's son James is cute!" Said Helena. "What do you think?"

Harriet nearly choked on her soup, after swallowing the mouthful of soup she said. "I'm related to him, of course not!"

"Oh right." Said Harmonie going all serious.

As Harriet ate her food she got more and more curious about where Narcissa was. After dinner Harriet went down to the Slytherin common room. Slipped into the girls bathroom near the common room, and in there she turned into an amigus of a cat. She then walked into the common room, looked around and walked over to the year one's dormitory. She looked around, but still couldn't see Narcissa. So she quickly got out of the dormitory, and then out of the common room. She slipped back into the bathrooms then came back to a human. She quickly ran up the stairs to the Ravenclaw common room and up to her dormitory got into her pj's and slipped into bed. That night Harriet dreamt about Narcissa, that she was what looked like she was dead.

"Narcissa?" Asked Harriet.

Then Narcissa raised and killed her. But then Harriet woke up.

" what was that?" she asked herself.

"I wonder if anyone has seen Narcissa yet?" Wondered Harriet.

Disaprance

When Harriet fell back asleep, she didn't wake up until morning. When she got up she smiled because the sun looked pretty in the sky. As she ran down for breakfast she felt a tinge of guilt, because she has been keeping so many secrets from her best friends. She decided to spend the whole day with them and if possible the whole week. She found her friends at the Ravenclaw table as she sat down she shot a quick glance at the Slytherin table, but she couldn't see because someone tall and fat was sitting in the way. She remembered her promise so she looked at the table to see what was up for grabs. There was a fruit salad so she took that.

Through a mouthful of fruit she said: "what's the first lesson?" To distract her from where Narcissa might be.

"Um….." replied Harmonie " I don't know."

"Charms, your favourite." Replied Helen checking the time table.

"Yay!" Said Harriet, her mind was finally off Narcissa as they jumped into a conversation about their favourite subjects. Harriet was laughing and smiling as she and her friends walked to each class. When lunch break was finally there. She found that she was surrounded by Ravenclaws,Hufflepuffs and even Gryffindors which usually stayed away from Ravenlaws. They were all hanging on Harriet's next word. Laughing when it was the right time to laugh and even crying if she said something sad. Eventually even some Slytherins came to see what was up and got really engaged in what Harriet was saying.

"OMG, I'm popular, really popular! I never thought this day would come!" She thought as she walked to her next class.

"Wow! What was that about!" Said Halima after everyone left for class.

"I don't know but I liked it, I thought that I would be on the outside forever, but we aren't!" Said Harriet excitedly. At the end of the week Harriet felt so pumped. But she also felt weird. She felt pumped because she was one of the most popular first year students. She had gone from being an unpopular child to being a really popular child in 3 three days! But she felt weird because she hadn't seen or talked to Narcissa at all that week apart from Monday or Tuesday. " Narcissa must have been avoiding me?" Thought Harriet. "Either that or she has disappeared!"

The letter box

Harriet thought she should start on the letter box for the room of requirement. She found a great box for the notes and letters, and she found the perfect spell that means that only her and Narcissa can open the box. She decided to do an experiment. She would put a note into the box, and if it disappeared then Narcissa was avoiding her, but if the note stayed there then Narcissa had disappeared. Harriet wrote: Dear Narcissa,

It has been a long time since we have talked, I haven't even seen you! But guess what, I'm popular! Yay! We need to talk, and soon. Please reply and remember to meet in the room ( you know which one) at 4:00 tonight and tomorrow and every night this week.

Harriet then ran down to the room of requirement, and put the letter box in there with her letter in it. Then she decided to keep everyone guessing so she stayed low for a while so she decided to explore the room. The room was quite big, it had lots of books on shelves, tables with maps and papers. Harriet found a particular one that she found very fascinating. She read right though it multiple times. One of the things that caught her eye was a thing about there being many chambers in the Hogwarts castle. Most of the chambers if they are opened something will be unleashed a bit like the chamber of secrets. She sat down and read all the papers on that table. "Someone has been here and they are trying to figure something out. About what I don't know." Said Harriet in a whisper, to herself. She then just remembered that her parents haven't sent Frosty back, her owl, with a note, in fact she hadn't heard anything from her parents. She started to feel like something was not right. Her parents always write back straight away. "What is going on?" She asked herself." This is weird!" She ran back to the dormitory, and wrote to her parents again.

"Huh?"

She then ran up to the owlery and chose a strong bird, with muscles, she then tied the note to him and sent him off. "Please get it!"

She had written: mum, dad why aren't you responding to my owls and where is Frosty? GIVE ME FROSTY AND RESPOND TO MY LETTER!!!! NOWWWWWW from Harriet. She was angry, frustrated, confused and worried. She ran to the bathrooms near the Ravenclaw common room, she then ran into a cubicle locked the door ( you know like you do) and she bawled her eyes out. So many bad things have happened to her just in this first week. She missed dinner. She didn't want to show her blotchy face from crying. So she quickly ducked out and into her dormitory slipped her pjs on and snuggled into bed. She was still sobbing quietly when her friends came in.

" There you are, we have been looking everywhere for you, you missed dinner!" Said Helena gruffly.

"I know I missed dinner, I purposely missed it!" Said Harriet putting on a brave voice.

"Oh."

"Yeah!" Snapped Harriet.

" what's wrong you were sobbing when we came in?"

"It's just… my parents haven't responded to my owl, see nothing now, get to bed and stop asking questions or statements!" Snapped Harriet before noticing that there was a letter on her bedside table, gathering dust. "Oops maybe that's from my Mum and dad." Thought Harriet to herself before sitting up and opening the letter with shaking hands, it wasn't from Harriet's parents, it was from Narcissa. The letter said: Dearest Harriet,

I am extremely sorry that I missed our meeting, it was nothing personal, I've been chosen to become a death eater and am having the ceremony. If I had known I definitely would've told you but I had no idea and they lured me into a passageway and took me to Borgin and Burke's. You may be wondering how I am writing to you right now: it's because I had to write to my father informing him about the ceremony because he didn't turn up, so I decided I would take the opportunity to tell you what's going on. And please don't tell anyone (but I know you won't because you're a very bright witch and an amazing friend)

"Who's that from?" Asked Halima.

"Umm it doesn't say." Replied Harriet nervously. She grabbed a quill and quickly scribbled a note. It said: Dear Narcissa,

Sorry I hadn't seen your letter sooner. No worries I didn't think that you had been avoiding me. Have fun. Thank you and your right I won't tell a soul. But that was a close one cause I read it at night with all the girls in here with me, and they asked who the letter was from, but don't worry I told them that it didn't say who it was from. By the way I am popular now! Yay!Good luck!

"Huh? Your writing back! Give me the letter." Said Helena grabbing for the letter, but Harriet was too quick for her.

"No!"

"What is the meaning of this?" Said a familiar female voice.

"I only just realised that there was a letter on my bedside table, so I read it, then I wrote a reply to send in the morning. But Helena wanted to read my personal letter. Well it's not personal just for me but also for someone else, and we would rather not have anyone knowing until we are ready to tell people." Replied Harriet.

"Ok, Helena, you know better than to disrupt people's personal business, now apologise and go to bed all of you!" Said Professor Mcgonalgol strictly before walking out.

"I'm sorry Harriet for invading your privacy, I didn't know that it was personal."apologised Helena.

"It's ok, now let's get some sleep!"

Lonely again

The next morning Harriet sent off the letter by spell because it is more reliable than owl and it goes straight to the person you want it to go to.

"Electro sacronum" said Harriet and the letter disappeared. She ran down the stairs to the great hall for breakfast. She thought of checking the letter box later but she was interrupted by a group of Griffindoors.

"Hey, where do you think you're going?" Asked one of the Gryffindors.

"To the great hall for breakfast." Replied Harriet.

"Oh, well um, arr, I, was….um, wondering whether you….um could um… tell us about um….. ar the ar um time ar you um…. went to um… Harry Potter's um house?" Asked the boy nervously.

"Well maybe at break cause I'm hungry, bye!" Replied Harriet. As she went into the great hall, and over to the Ravenclaw table. She ate some pancakes. After she finished her pancakes she ran down to the room of requirement. She checked the letter box and the letter was still there. But she didn't care because she knew where Narcissa was. She dumped her stuff there but didn't stay long. She ran out to the court yard where her friends were huddled around Halima. And everyone else was crowded around someone else.

" hey, what up?" asked Harriet.

" didn't you hear?" replied Helena.

"Hear what?" asked Harriet worriedly.

" those girls over there where everyone is crowded around, they picked on Halima, and everyone laughed at us." replied Helena gravely. " but they said that you were the only decent one of us."

" oh no they didn't!" said Harriet angrily before storming over to the group of people.

"Wait, no!" cried out Harmonie.

" no one picks on my friends and gets away with it!" replied Harriet as she set her mind on bringing those girls down.

"Oh hi there I'm Star, this is Sky and that's Luna!" said one of the girls in a girly voice. "Please join us, we were just talking about how you don't deserve friends like them, you deserve us!"

" arh, that's an insult, my friend may not be as glamorous as you but they are kind and caring, except for Helena but she knows right from wrong. And none of them would ever pick on anybody, not even if they wanted the top spot in popularity. I would choose them any day over you!"

" Oh well your fault not ours."

"Wow wow wow, hold it right there I think she is right, what do you guys think?" said a boy from the crowd standing up.

" YEAH!!" shouted back every one.

" oh well, see ya!" said Harriet.

" NOOOO! Please I don't want to be lonely again!!" shouted Luna sadly.

Everyone turned their attention to Harriet who indicated to her friends to come over.

"Look guys and girls, I think that we shouldn't do this…" Harriet said with a gesture to the crowd. " I know it's interesting for you, but as you saw it causes fights that are stupid!" she said as she and her friends walked away.

Did you say chicken nuggets?

Harriet was happy with her decision of getting away from the crowd, she felt free. And everyone still really liked her and her friends. But she really wanted to catch up with Narcissa. She had made a batch of brownies and two batches of chicken nuggets. To fill in time. She also did it because she wanted to save the brownies and one of the batches of nuggets for Narcissa and her. Unfortunately her friend saw her making the brownies. So she had to make another batch. And then she wrote to Narcissa. She wrote: Dear Narcissa,

Hope you got my last letter and that the ceremony went well. I have made some brownies and chicken nuggets for us. If you can please come down to the room of requirement for dinner. I have a lot to fill you in on and I have an idea for what could be causing these storms, I found some information down in the room of requirement. Hope to see you there tonight. :) bye!

-yours truly excited to show you, Harriet Granger- she didn't know whether or not Narcissa was back in the castle, so she decided to use the spell.

"Electro sacronum" said Harriet and the letter disappeared. Then she ran down to breakfast. There weren't many people in the hall because it was right before class. Then she grabbed some toast and ran to charms. After all her classes she went back to her dormitory, to get her things. She ran down to the room of requirement with her hands full. As soon as she got inside she dumped her things on a table and ran to the letter box. She saw her letter to Narcissa, and another one addressed to Harriet Granger. " that's me!" she thought to herself excitedly. She reached in and picked up the letter. She opened it like she always did, with trembling hands. She read the letter over and over. It read: Dearest Hariet granger,

I am very pleased to hear that you have Accepted that I'm now a death eater and didn't turn your back on me! You're an amazing friend for keeping our friendship a secret and I know that I can trust you.snape has been covering for me since I went to bed extremely late or early actually because I went to bed at about one in the morning. Anyway I am very happy to hear that you have become popular! And is there a time that we can meet up in the room of requirement?

Harriet squealed happily. But then she felt a rush of fear come over her. The voice was back but this time it was different. "Harrrrieeet, your mudblood mother will suffer and your friends won't save you because they have more important things to worry about and you're not important to them… you are nothing to them. No one is left to protect you now….. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" this time the voice echoed. " someone else must have heard it!" said Harriet to herself. She sat down and continued to read a book that was on the table. She couldn't stop thinking about the voice. But her thoughts were interrupted by someone coming into the room. She heard them go over to the letter box, open it and pull out the letter for Narcissa. "It must be Narcissa!" thought Harriet happily. Harriet got up and walked over to them. Her feet made barely a noise as she walked over to her. "It is Narcissa!" thought Harriet as she saw the blond and green hair. Harriet gave Narciassa a tap on the shoulder, which made Narcissa jump. "Oh phew it's just you" Narcissa said with a giggle."Listen, I'm really sorry but I can't exactly talk right now. I have transfiguration in 2 minutes but I've written a letter, I'll talk to you later bye!"

"Okay bye, I have finished all my classes!" replied Harriet.

Narcissa smiled and walked out of the room of requirement with a little wave. Harriet returned the wave but Narcissa probably didn't see it. Harriet sat back down with a small sigh. "I wish that we had the same classes or we were in the same house, at least then we wouldn't have to keep our friendship a secret!" said Harriet deflated. "Well I better get started on this transfiguration homework." she said as her voice echoed in the large room. She glanced around the room then her eyes locked onto a painting that was of a girl in a corner all by herself. "That is how I feel at the moment!" she said sadly. She decided to finish her homework in the Ravenclaw dormitory. But then she changed her mind, the picture was comforting her.

Trouble

So instead she quickly went back and got the food, and all the other things she needed to show Narcissa. When Harriet got back she layed out her things and started reading, after a while she heard someone say whilst crying "Why is Ivy so mad at me, what did I do?" the person said, the voice told her that they were a female "well at least I have Harriet she's nicer than anyone else will ever be. Why can't she be in slytherin!" The girl sighed "Then we wouldn't have to keep our friendship a secret!" The girl couldn't stop crying. "Oh no, that's Narcissa!" Thought Harriet.

"I'll just be a loser forever I'll just be that unpopular kid that has no friends and has to sit on the table with all the scummy griffindoor's!" Narcissa cried and cried. So Harriet went over to her and tapped her gently on the shoulder. Narcissa immediately turned around.Narcissa quickly tried to wipe the tears to make it seem as though she hadn't been crying.

"Er hi….when did you um get here?" Asked Narcissa

"I've been here almost the whole time" replied Harriet.

"Right then…"Said Narcissa suspiciously. It's lovely in here isn't it?" Said Narcissa.

"Yes it is, now please do tell me what Ivy is doing to upset someone as strong as you, I might be able to help you feel better." Said Harriet ignoring the fact that Narcissa didn't want to tell her.

"Umm…" Narcissa started.

"Wait here, while I go and get my kittens, I want you to see them, have a brownie or chicken nugget while I'm gone" interrupted Harriet.

"Ok" replied Narcissa. As Harriet got up and walked out to Ravenclaw dormitory, she noticed that there was something gold in her satchel that wasn't there before. She ran with all her might to her dormitory. Once she was back in the room with Narcissa she saw that Narcissa had eaten half of the chicken nuggets and a few brownies. Harriet let out a small giggle, "I see you liked the nuggets." Harriet nearly burst out laughing. Once she sat back down she let her small fluffy kittens out to play and meet Narcissa. While Narcissa played with Biscuit and Ginger, Harriet went over and looked at the gold thing in her satchel. It was a letter. She opened it and nearly fainted. It was from the man who has been talking to her through her mind. She closed it without reading it and threw it in the bin. She got her books and sat down completely forgetting that Narcissa had been crying. "Soo.. um they are...um Biscuit and...arr um Ginger… soo yeah...um..yeah?" Harriet said awkwardly.

"Aww they are very cute little sweeties!" Said Narcissa petting ginger.

"Aww, thanks,I think they like you!" Added Harriet smiling now that they had something to talk about. Hah I'm sure they like how pretty I am" she said in a joking voice giggling "only joking" she said winking.

"Oh and also I did love the chicken nuggets and brownies, I nearly ate the lot" she said laughing.

"Aww thanks" replied Harriet giggling. "Well, getting to it, I have been hearing voices, as you know, and the storms…. where is it?..." said Harriet flicking through one of the books she had found. "Ah here it is… it says Hogwarts has lots of chambers.Most of the chambers if they are opened something will be unleashed a bit like the chamber of secrets and the ballistic… see what I mean someone... ah hem the man who has behind the voice I keep hearing, might have opened a chamber which might have something to do with the storms." Explained Harriet excitedly.

Well that's a great point it would only make sense!" Said Narcissa shocked with how Harriet had come up with this amazing amount of evidence "oh and I also needed to tell you that I heard the man as well only once though, and also my mother wrote to me" she said holding up the letter "she said that she thinks she knows about the man but wouldn't risk telling me because of all the thieves that Intercept letters these days"

"He must be well known then." Said Harriet.

"Mm!" Said Narcissa through a mouthful of brownies "I'm not just saying this because we're friends, I really do mean this… if you can figure out all of this stuff and have all of this evidence then maybe just maybe you would be able to propose this information and research to the ministry! I mean it all fits! They'll have to believe you and I'm sure my mother would be happy to help" she said, handing Harriet the letter and nodding to indicate that she should have a read of it.

"And my mum works there as well so it should work" Harriet said.

"It's perfect"

Harriet read through the letter puzzled. The letter read: dearest Narcissa,

Your father and I are so proud that you made it into slytherin, we miss you so much and we are glad you've already made so many friends. I haven't told your father this but I couldn't help but watch over you and I saw that Ivy isn't speaking to you, I don't know why she's avoiding you and I can't really help you but I thought I would give you this charm to keep away the Nargles since I'm sure you don't want a pest stealing your stuff. I used this necklace when I was at school and it was quite helpful, just thought it would come in handy and might cheer you up a bit. Narcissa, I think it's great that you're friends with that Harriet girl. She seems very sweet and I know you've been keeping your friendship secret but don't worry I won't tell your father.shes just as witty and nice as her mother. I also just wanted to warn you that from what I saw when I was watching you was that you were hearing voices, from a mysterious man. I know who this man is but unfortunately I wouldn't risk telling you as lots of letters are being intercepted these days and it would be unsafe especially if the man himself found this, then he would know more about you, which makes it easier for him to get to you. "Hmmm interesting." Said Harriet turning the letter over in her hands. "So…. you got this when I went to get my cats… and I got a letter from the man behind the voices that both of us have been hearing, which is here…" said Harriet as she walked over to the bin and picked out the letter.

"You're joking!" Said Narcissa alarmed and surprised "that's so weird I wonder why. Wait what?! You put it in the bin?! Harriet this could be important!"

"No joke, well yeah, but he said some things that I am sensitive about, and I just couldn't bear anyone knowing about those things." Said Harriet embarrassed.

Narcissa frowned; she was pretty sure she knew that Harriet was talking about her mother being a muggle born.

"Fair enough," she said glumly.

"No one knows what happened but I can trust you, so you can read it, and I'm serious don't tell anyone, like not even my parents know." Harriet said seriously.

"I understand, if you are uncomfortable saying it you don't have to but I promise you no matter what it is I won't tell a soul mark my words" she said moving closer to Harriet.

"Thank you." Said Harriet. The letter that Harriet trusted Narcissa with said: Dear Harriet,

You are smart, I'm not going to lie. But I am smarter, so don't even try resisting. I know about the Ron and your mud blood mother breakup and how Ron Weasely is your actual father. And he is scum on the bottom of your shoes. And if you don't do as you are told then the whole school will know. - the man behind the voices-

Harriet Felt sick as she passed the letter to Narcissa. As Narcissa took it and opened it to read it, Harriet picked up Biscuit who was nibbling her toes. "Don't cry, don't cry" Harriet kept repeating in her head. The painting that had been of a girl by herself crying was now a picture of a beautiful girl crying with a friend who is a demon.

"So.. um yeah… it's personal so um… please don't tell anyone." Begged Harriet sadly as she put Biscuit down. Her instinct was to Bury her head in a book, because she wasn't used to talking about something so personal with someone else.

"oh Harriet" Narcissa said, throwing her arms over Harriet "I'm so sorry" Harriet thought a bit happier but was very surprised when Narcissa hugged her. "well I'm so glad that you trust me as well, not many people would trust a death eater" said Narcissa

"Stop, just because you're a death eater doesn't mean that you are untrustworthy." Replied Harriet seriously.

"So…..Er" Said Narcissa awkwardly checking her watch. we've been up here for a while"

"I have to go." Said Harriet as she got up and started packing her things up. "She felt sick because she still wasn't sure she should have shown Narcissa the letter. After all she was a death eater. "Oh no, Helen will be furious that I wasn't at dinner." Thought Harriet nervously."Bye Harriet, I'll be sure to let you know when our next meeting will be" Said Narcissa, as she packed up her things and headed to the door.

Harriet stayed a little longer to actually explore. Then she ran with her arms full of more books and papers to read. "Aha if they ask where I've been I can say the library because of the books and papers." Thought Harriet when she got to her dormitory door. As soon as she got inside and put her things on her bedside table she slipped into her silk cat pyjamas and got in bed to get started on the books and papers. Then her friend walked in after she had read the first few pages of one of the larger books.

"Where have you been, you weren't at dinner?" Said Helena strictly.

"I was at the library, and I didn't need dinner because I had a big lunch." Lied Harriet.

"I don't believe you." Said Helena. "And a friend doesn't lie to a friend."

"She's right." Said Rosemary sadly.

"I'm not lying." Lied Harriet.

"That's exactly what a liar would say." Pointed Helena.

"Yes but it is also what you would say if you didn't lie." Pointed out Harriet.

"Humf!" Helena turned on her heels and walked over to her bed.

"Oh no, I am in trouble." Thought Harriet scaredly.

"I, Helena Joan Popeno will never speak to Harriet, I don't know her middle name Granger ever again!"

In the morning Harriet was the first to wake up so she quickly got dressed and ran down for breakfast. Helena woke up next and when she entered the great hall she walked up to Harriet and said "I, Helena Joan Popeno will never speak to Harriet, I don't know your middle name Granger ever again!"

"Why?" Asked Harriet nervously glancing around her.

"Why? You're seriously asking me why? Oh I'll tell you why… you lied to us. So I won't talk to you ever again." Replied Helena rudely.

"You said you wouldn't talk to me again but you just replied to me when I asked 'why?'" Pointed out Harriet.

"Humf!" Helena walked out because at that moment Harriet's 'friends' walked in.

"If only Narcissa was Ravenclaw, then we could be friends and not have to be a secret." Said Harriet under her breath.

"Hey, your Harriet right?" Said another first year student.

"Yes that's me, why?" Asked Harriet curiously.

"Well, I just thought you seem lonely and it looks like your friends left you, by the way, I think that they are crazy to ditch you like that!" Said the girl.

"Well, they kind of have a good reason to leave me." Replied Harriet.

"Who cares that friendship is gone, but you can make new friends and be happy!" Said the girl enthusiastically.

"I know but—-" started Harriet.

"Come on let's get to charms!" Cut across the girl. "By the way my name is Crystal, oh and I have two other friends called Orchard and Tucker!"

"Oh cool, I like your names." Said Harriet politely.

"Thanks." replied Crystal.

When they walked into charms Harriet's old friends glanced over to her and then started acting like they hadn't seen her. But Harriet didn't care, she just walked with Crystal over to her friends which she remembered that their names were Orchard and Tucker.

"Hey." Said Harriet.

"Hi." Replied Tucker.

"Orchard and Tucker this is Harriet, Harriet this is Orchard and Tucker!" Explained Crystal. Harriet sat down and got out her homework to give to professor flit wick.

"So why aren't you sitting with those girls?" asked Orchard pointing toward Helena and the other girls.

"We had a fight and now they…. Don't like me." replied Hariet with a shrug, even though she felt horrible inside.

"Ohh, yeah." replied Tucker.

After charms Crystal, Orchard,Tucker and Harriet were already best friends.

"Do you know what class is next?" asked Harriet.

"Yep, it's Care of magical creatures…" replied Tucker checking the time table.

"Ooh that's good." said Harriet cheerfully.

" yeah it would be, if we didn't have to have it with the Slytherins." said Tucker.

They all groaned. Although Harriet liked Narcissa a lot, she was the only good Slytherin. As they walked to care of magical creatures, Harriet saw Narcissa and one of her friends talking over near the quidditch pitch.

"Look there's Narcissa Malfoy, I hope she isn't like her father but exactly like her mother, because her mother was in Ravenclaw."

"Yeah." agreed Harriet, even though she knew that Narcissa wasn't like her father.

The Radioactive monkeys

When Harriet got to Hagid's hut, she straight away saw Narcissa. Narcissa looked stressed. Harriet got out her books.

"right let's get started 'en eh?"

The slytherins groaned while most of the ravenclaws were beaming with excitement, Harriet was one of them.

"Right now we ain't got long so I suggest we start. Now hold on jus' gotta call em!" Hagrid whistled and with that a heap of what looked like green and yellow monkeys came scuttling in.

"Wow, Radioactive monkeys!" Said Harriet and a few other Ravenclaws.

"Right you ar', 5 points to Ravenclaw!"

"What already, just for answering a question!" Yelled a Slytherin angrily.

Harriet snuck a peek at Narcissa, she was talking with one of her friends as she leaned on a great big tree, Narcissa looked awkward.

"Oh no, they are on the topic of me and the other Ravenclaws, probably about that they think we are smarty pants." Thought Harriet with a sigh.

"Er….What was your name again?" Said Hagrid awkwardly to Narcissa.

"Um Narcissa Malfoy" She replied coldly.

"Oh well right then, would you care to join me Malfoy?" He said slightly anxiously

"Sure whatever" she said as she stopped leaning on the great big oaf tree and casually walked over to Hagrid.

"Oh, no what is going to happen!" Thought Harriet worriedly.

Then one of the monkeys came right round the cimmy circle of students sniffing everyone, but then it stopped in front of Harriet and pointed at her. Then all of a sudden the group of monkeys all came over and sniffed Harriet. Harriet held her breath. After a few seconds they all shook their heads and continued to sniff everyone and stopped in front of Narcissa, sniffed, then they all ran to the middle and half of them exploded the other half ran around crazily. One of the many monkeys started at Narcissa then turned their back on her and faced the other monkeys. The other monkeys watched as the monkey in front of Narcissa attempted to point at Narcissa but instead the monkey's great arm knocked Narcissa and she fell to the ground. Harriet wanted to rush forward and help Narcissa, but she knew she couldn't. So instead she just stared at her with a frown. Then the next minute, some of the monkeys jumped onto her, making her fall down and hit her head on the back of Hagrid's hut. The last words she heard were of Hagrid cursing about how everyone always gets hurt in his lessons. Then one of the monkeys exploded on her face.

Home

"She looks horrible, she can't stay here, especially looking like this, people will tease her." argued a familiar voice.

"But where would she go?" said a calm voice.

"Well home of course!" replied the first voice with a hysterical laugh.

"Fine! But don't come running to me, if you me to look after her!" Then Harriet heard footsteps clicking through the room.

"Oh, I won't!" shouted back the voice. The doors shut. Then she was lifted out of the comfortable bed and onto an uncomfortable stretcher. Then she couldn't remember what happened next, she must've blacked out again. "Mummy, I want mummy!" Thought Harriet when she woke up again. This time she was fully awake and was sitting up at home, in her bed. But it wasn't her bedroom. She was very confused. "Mum? Dad?" asked Harriet suspiciously.

"Quick she's awake, get the panadol and bandages!" shouted a gruff voice.

"Okay, honey, Can you get the bandages, and I'll get the panadol!" abayed another voice, which she realised was her father's voice.

"Yep!" called back her mother.

Then all three of the adults came into the room that Harriet was in. She realised that the gruff voice was a doctor. Harriet's mother came and raped Harriet's face up so that only her eyes, mouth and the tip of her nose.

"What are you doing?" asked Harriet scaredly.

"Umm… darling on of the monkeys, arrh um.. Exploded on your face and now umm… your beautiful face has been destroyed…" replied Harriet's mother.

"WHAT!!!" screamed Harriet in distress.

"What about Narc— I mean my friends?"

Harriet was sick at the thought of Narcissa being by herself, and having to do research by herself.

"Mummy, can I go back to Hogwarts—-" started Harriet.

"No!" Interrupted Her mother.

"But what about Narc— I mean my Narcissistic friends?" Asked Harriet.

"Darling that's not very nice, do you know what narcissistic means?" Replied Hermionie.

"Yes, it means someone with a mental condition and they—-" Harriet replied bored.

"No need to go to so much detail." Said Hermione as she walked out the door.

While Harriet's mother was out of the room she quickly grabbed some paper and a pen. She wrote: Dear Narcissa,

I am sorry but after you went unconscious one of the monkeys jumped on me and exploded in my face, so now am completely covered in burns. I had to go home so yeah. I hope you get better soon and can do a bit of research while I am at home recovering.

Harriet as usual sent off the letter with the spell.

"What should I do, actually no, what can I do?" Wondered Harriet absent mindedly. Then the thought struck her.

"Mum?"

"Yes honey?" Replied Hermionie with a sigh.

"Um… where is Frosty?"

"What on earth do you mean?" Asked Hermione as she entered the room and sat on Harriet's bed.

"Um… you know my owl." Replied Harriet.

"I know, but what do mean by: 'where is she'?"

"I sent you a message with her, and she never came back." Harriet replied as she picked up a book from her bedside table.

"What?! We never got that letter!" Shrieked Hermionie nervously.

"I sent you two owls! Did you get either of them?" Asked Harriet putting the book down as she was beginning to get scared.

"No!" Replied Hermione seriously as she twirled her hair around her finger.

"I was wondering why you didn't write to us!" Said Harriet before she realised what she had said.

"Who's 'Us'?" Asked Hermione suspiciously.

"Arh…… um… I don't know, I accidentally said us instead of me, I guess maybe my friends and I?" Said Harriet thinking on her feet.

"Yeah, right, doubt that, who did you really mean?" Asked Hermione noseily.

"Fine! I meant Luna's daughter: Narcissa." Replied Harriet with a sigh.

"Is she like Luna or Draco?" Hermione's face filled with disgust when she said Draco's name.

"Luna 100%!" Said Harriet with enthusiasm.

"Then it's fine that you're friends." Said Hermione as she got up and walked to the door. "Oh, by the way, you probably shouldn't tell your father." She added with a wink before she walked out.

"Ok!" Harriet replied happily. 'Yay! My mother is letting Narcissa and I be friends!!" Thought Harriet as she picked the book she had earlier and flicked through a few pages, then she put it back down as she realised that it was a doctor's book by accidentally flicking to a page of a naked man. "Opps." She said quietly.

The vision

That night, Harriet had a dream, but it was more like a vision. The 'dream' was about Narcissa being captured by the man who was behind the voices that they had been hearing. The man was trying to get information from her. But then Harriet was woken by a loud crash coming from the kitchen, closely followed by an ear piercing scream which Harriet realised was her mother. She raced (well, as fast as she could covered in bandages) down the stairs to find her mother coming face to face with Ron Weasely.

"You! You foul evil little cockroach!" Hermione screeched.

"Hermione no, it's not worth it!" Warned Harriet's father.

Hermione punched Ron in the face.

"Mummy? Daddy? What's going on?" Asked Harriet worriedly.

At the mention of daddy Ron looked up and said "oh my little girl, I have come to take you home with me for a while!" With a smirk.

"NO!" Yelled Harriet as she hid behind her mother.

"She's not going anywhere with you!" Yelled Harriet's father as he stepped in front of Ron.

"You wouldn't have a say in it!" Sneered Ron.

"Oh no you didn't!" Yelled Harriet's father roaring with rage as he pulled out his wand.

"Oh yes I did!" Yelled back Ron, as he too reached for his wand, but he was too late.

"Imprentamente!" Yelled Harriet's father and Ron straight away started shrinking. Hermione ran to the cupboard and grabbed a jam jar to put Ron in. Harriet stood there stunned, with only one thought in her mind: " that wasn't Ron Weasely, that was the man behind those voices, I have no proof but I just know it!"

"Um… darling…." Hermione paused "I think you need to get some sleep, and I'll explain in the morning."

"No Mum, I know that Ron is my real father, and that you daddy are only my step dad, but to me you're the best father in the world!" Said Harriet with a sigh.

"Oh, well in that case I won't have to explain!" Replied Hermione brightering.

"Yeah, but that wasn't Ron." Said Harriet gravely.

"What do you mean?" Asked Harriet's father.

"I'll explain in the morning. I'm too tired at the moment and I can't exactly be sure at the moment." She replied as she turned to walk back to her bedroom. As she did so, she saw what had made the loud crash: a broken glass bottle that was labeled as a polyjuice potion. "So I was right!" Thought Harriet as she carefully picked up the glass bottle and put it into a nearby small cardboard box. She sprinted to her bedroom to get into the nice, warm, snuggly bed waiting for her. She put the box on her desk and snuggled up. She was beginning to get a lot better and soon was able to take the bandages off. When she did the burns were just visible as a reddy, pinky scar. That same morning she got the letter. Not a normal letter but one which made her insides squirm with anticipation, like as if she was going to vomit. The letter read:

Dearest Harriet,

Please help me, Shargo Cromer (aka the man behind the voices) has got me imprisoned in the hospital wing.I need help please rescue me as soon as possible as I don't have long until he uses his veritaserum on me for answers. I'll try and stall him for as long as I can. He is on the search for your mother so be Cautious.

Harriet struggled to process this absurd note. "Could it be possible that she really is trapped? I mean I'm well enough to save her, I will ask my mother to come…. Wait no, I have ask my father, otherwise Shargo Cromer will take my mother away forever. What is it with my mother that Shargo Cromer wants?" she asked herself.

"Father!" shouted Harriet as she got out of bed.

"Yes?" Came a voice as her mother came into the room.

"I need Father." Replied Harriet.

"Oh well I'll go get him." Said Hermione sadly.

Her father walked into the room.

"Father, look at the letter!" She said, handing him the letter.

"Oh my, um…" said Harriet's father astonished.

"Can we go save her?" Asked Harriet pleadingly.

"Um…—" started her father.

"Pretty please with a cherry on top?"

"Ok, fine!"

Hogwarts

They decided to travel there by floo powder, meaning that they would have to go to hogsmeade and then walk to Hogwarts. If they weren't in a rush then Harriet would have stopped to look at all the funny things in the shop windows. But she had to keep moving. When they finally got to the Hogwarts building itself, they could hear laughter and chatting coming from the great hall.

"It must be dinner time." Remarked Harriet, filling up with worry about Narcissa.

"Yes, it must be, now quickly I'm tired and hungry so let's get this done quickly." Replied Harriet's father starting to get frustrated.

"Father! This is not about you! It's about saving Mother and Narcissa!" She said as she started to cry at her father's selfishness.

"Wait, we are saving Hermione as well?!"

"Yeah, duh, the man that has Narcissa captor is trying to get mother for some dumb reason because she's a muggle born." Harriet replied, rolling her eyes.

Before she knew it Harriet was outside the hospital wing doors, with her wand drawn and her father by her side. Her father stepped forward and pushed open the door with a loud screech.

"Stupefy!" Shouted Harriet's father before Shargo could even pull his wand from his robe.

Harriet rushed over to Narcissa, pointed her wand at a belt that was around Narcissa's neck.

"Obliviate!" And then she repeated the spell on the other belts tying Narcissa down. After all the belts had been removed, Narcissa sat up. Harriet pulled Narcissa into a hug as Harriet bursted into tears. After a little while Harriet let go.

"I was so worried about you!" Shouted Harriet.

"Where have you been? Why didn't you come quicker?" Narcissa asked confused.

"Well a radioactive monkey exploded on top of me so I had to go home for a while." Replied Harriet bursting back into tears.

At that moment Shargo stirred and slowly rose from the ground. Harriet's father realised and then a duel broke out. Between shouting curses and shielding himself Harriet's father shouted over to the girls to get out and get dumbledore to help.

The girls ran as fast as they could to the great hall. When they got there Narcissa didn't follow after Harriet and ran into the hall shouting for Dumbledore, instead she waited outside the hall. As Harriet ran through the hall she heard Ivy's laughter echo in the now dead silent hall. It was just like the nightmare that she had earlier in the year.

"Professor Dumbledore, there is a duel in the hospital wing between my father and Shargo Cromer, and he had Narcissa Malfoy captor! Please help!" Cried Harriet, much to Ivy and her Crooks enjoyment. Dumbledore hurried along with Harriet, and then Narcissa. When they reached the entrance to the hospital wing, they could hear spells being shot back and forth. Narcissa suddenly fell to the ground in a big heap. "What? Are you okay Narcisssa? Narcissa!?" Shouted Harriet shaking Narcissa, but Narcissa didn't respond. Harriet had had enough, she stepped into the hospital wing and heard someone cry out to her to get away from the ruthless Shargo Cromer. But that was the last thing that she remembered about that night.

But she woke in the Ravenclaw common room surrounded by Ravenclaws all wanting to know what happened that night. Harriet refused to tell anyone anything. And later that day Dumbledore called her and Narcissa to his office. To tell them that Shargo has been taken to Azkaban and that no one was injured last night. That night there was a feast in the name of Harriet and Narcissa. And they each got 50 house points, beating the Griffindoors and Making Slytherin and Ravenclaw draw, both winning the house cup!
