It was something the two planned for months. A double date is just what they needed for their relationship. Henry and Felix waited at the restaurant for the other couple.
"Are you sure he's gonna make it?" Henry said.
"Knowing my cousin, we'll be here for another 10 minutes," Felix said. "Oh, there he is"
Coming into the scene was Rupert Price, Felix's cousin. Felix's aunt is married to Rupert's uncle. Making them cousins. With Rupert was his date Dave Panpa. Dave and Rupert were police officers before they started dating. Since then, Rupert works for the military and Dave is a security guard. The two have been dating for half a year now.
Dave was clinging onto Rupert's side. He's a little shy around new people. Rupert was protecting like he was a prince.
"About time you showed up" Henry said. Rupert gave him a glare.
"Felix, you never told me that you were dating Stickmin here" Rupert said.
"I said I was dating Henry" Felix said "wait, do you two know each other?"
"A bit too well" Rupert said, giving Henry a glare. Henry gave one back.
"Hey uh let's just have dinner" Felix said. He takes Henry and heads Inside.
The four of them sit down and order drinks. They decide to talk a bit to brighten the mood.
"Got into any trouble lately stickmin?" Rupert said. Henry groaned.
"I'll let you know that i haven't gotten arrested in a while," Henry said. Felix held onto Henry's hand tight.
" Oh whoop dee doo here's your prize madam" Rupert said sarcastically. Dave also held onto Rupert's hand.
The date went by with Rupert and Henry throwing glances at each other before being stopped or cut off by their boyfriends. Dave and Felix were getting worried.
After the date, Dave and Felix excused themselves to the bathroom. They washed their hands and had a chat.
"I'm just so worried," Dave said.
"Me too. I want Henry and Rupert to get along" Felix said.
"We really need to do something," Felix said.
"Yeah," Dave said. He suddenly gasped. "We shouldn't have left them alone"
With wet hands, the two ran back to their dates, who just so happen to be throwing hands.
Dave and Felix run to their dates, dragging them away. Both crying.
Rupert and Henry suddenly softened and cuddled their dates.
"Henry…." Felix said.
"Rupert…" Dave said.
"Sorry honey" They both said.
Felix and Dave wipe their eyes. Henry and Rupert realize that they have to put their differences aside and bear with each other. Dave is a softie and Felix is only a softie around Henry.
Henry and Felix went home. Felix rested his head on Felix's chest.
"Henry…" Felix said.
"Yeah?" Henry said.
"Promise me you'll get along with Rupert" Felix said.
"... I promise" Henry said, you know like a liar.
