Prologue - An Unexpected Encounter

"I can see you mouthing the lines, Jack."

The young man scoffed at his beloved's statement while continuing to watch what was currently playing on the TV screen. "I have done no such thing, love. Besides, how would that be possible if we've both been watching the movie this whole time?"

"Let's just say that I've known you long enough now for me to simply sense that you're doing it," replied a smirking Sunset Shimmer while taking a moment to make herself more comfortable against her husband on the couch that they were both sitting on.

As the film started to show the ending credits, Jack's planned response to his wife was paused by the curious voice of a 7-year-old child, currently laying against a bean bag chair placed a few inches away from her parents. "Daddy, did you have to ask Mommy again and again until she agreed to marry you?"

"Nah of course not, Sunshine," Jack answered coyly, wrapping a playful arm around 'mommy's' shoulders with a grin while Sunset began to raise an eyebrow. "Only took one try since I'm more charming and irresistible than Eugene would ever be. Isn't that right, honey?"

"You know, I think you need another hit to the head with a frying pan," remarked a smirking Sunset, which made their young daughter giggle in amusement.

Jack then fake-gulped, covering his brown-haired head with a wry fearful smile. "Don't hurt me again love, please..." With a pathetic joking meek tone and leaning away from his beloved slowly.

"Oh, I've got something better in mind," replied Sunset playfully, with Sunshine rolling her eyes now as her mom gently grabbed ahold of Jack's shirt in order to bring him over and give him a kiss on the lips that Jack was oh-so-happy to return.

The man cupped his beautiful wife's cheek with his hand, the two kissing to their heart's content before hearing a small amusing cough that prompted the loving husband and father to break the kiss and turn back to Sunshine with the warmest loving smile possible. "Sorry not sorry. Bedtime now, me thinks, huh honey?"

"Oh, come on it's only teh… ten o'clock," said Sunshine, having paused her sentence to let out a yawn due to being a little tired from the long day of fun the three of them had spent together. "I want to see if I can last being up until 12."

Jack just simply smirked, deciding his little girl needed some incentive for bed. In the form of playfully tackling her mother and pinning Sunset to the couch, lovingly and teasing slobbering heated kisses over the beautiful yellow lips to their Princess's embarrassment.

Jack smirked, deciding his little girl needed some incentive for bed. In the form of playfully tackling her mother and pinning Sunset to the couch, lovingly and teasing slobbering heated kisses over the beautiful yellow lips to their Princess's embarrassment.

"Blegh! Okay, I'm going to my room," replied Sunshine, not wanting to see her parents get too 'playful' with each other, and hurried out of the room whilst Sunset was getting carried away with his kissing.

Even if it was originally a prank, Jack was getting into it himself as he deepened the heated kiss that grew over time, hand stroking up and down a thigh covered by blue jeans suggestively.

"Mmmm..." moaned Sunset, shuddering a little after feeling his hand across her clothed form and began to deliver her own passion into their heated that only incited the red-blooded man to only press down more firmly on her magnificent body.

As for Sunshine, once she'd entered the room, the young child let out a sigh of relief as she began to get ready for bed since she knew she wasn't going back out anytime soon. "I'm so glad Auntie Twilight used the sound-proof spell for my room."

Once the lights were turned off, and some music began to play from her mp3 speaker player, Sunshine got herself under her blankets with a bright smile on her face. "Fun dreamland, here I come!"

About an hour and 9 minutes later, Sunshine found herself waking up with a dry mouth, and figured that she needed something to drink from the kitchen.

They should be done playing by now, thought the young child as she left her bedroom and made her way to the fridge while yawning again, too tired to notice or hear the magical whoosh from behind the counter.

"Um, let's see… no, not that…" Sunshine looked up and down at the available options she had to choose from. "Ooh, I haven't drank pink lemonade in a while."

So, with a drink-filled plastic bottle in hand, Sunshine closed the fridge and turned around to start heading back to her bedroom. However, she found herself staying perfectly still and eyes opening wide at what was now a few feet away from her. "Oh… my… gosh…"

Back in the living room, Jack was starting to wonder why Sunset had remained so absent for a while so he put on a blue gown wrapped around himself and decide to check on his beloved. The young man figured that she was probably having trouble with what she did to herself-

"... is this for me, Daddy?" asked Sunshine as she stepped closer to what she thought was a life-sized unicorn toy but was actually Sunset staying absolutely still in her pony form.

"SuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhYES IT IS!" Jack composed quickly with a wide grin, knowing an opportunity when he saw one and striding forward to the two. He then proceeded with petting the yellow back of the 'toy' playfully and proudly. "This is a deluxe Goddess version Sunset Pony! I got it for a bargain, I only had to trade my heart and soul. It comes with so many features, and even neighs when I do this, like so!" The feminine cry which followed as Jack teasingly slapped on the plot, beaming positively to his Sunshine. "For now it's a rental, anyway, borrowing it from a friend. Really desperate guy who can't get laid, has blue hair and plays guitar for a living so he has to find some meaning to his life somehow. It'll be returned tomorrow evening, and you can play with this all you like tomorrow morning, okay love?"

This was probably the first time that Sunshine actually wanted to go to sleep in her bed. "Okay! But uh… can you make it do the funny horse sounds again?" While looking over how good of a job the 'toy' looked, and Sunset glancing quickly at Jack with a look that meant 'don't you do it'.

"She's our child," mouthed Jack with a slight apologetic look before proceeding to do what Sunshine had asked. Light spank. Light spank. Light spank. Light spank. Neigh. Neigh. Neigh. Neigh. All in fluid motion.

Propping an elbow on Sunset's back, Jack only smirked as though so he was oh-so-pleased with himself. "Now you get some well-good sleep for all the playing tomorrow when we take it to the park, okay honey? I might even teaching you how to make it purr..." That last word holding an underlayer to it, and Sunshine being too excited to notice Sunset starting to blush.

His wonderful daughter nodded her head, but then she started to look around in confusion. "Uh, where did Mommy go? Is she sleeping in your guys' room?"

'She will be in a few hours from now,' thought Jack before he began to kneel down beside his Princess with a loving expression. "Your mother just had to make a quick trip to the store, sweetheart… now, one more question before you go back to your room."

The little girl nodded patiently, and Jack started to playfully mess with her hair before asking the question. "How would you feel about having… a younger brother or sister?"

Sunshine's eyes widened more than they had been moments ago, and she replied, "That would be great! *gasp* Is Mommy having a baby? Now it makes sense why she left to the store."

"Let's just say that it'll happen sooner than you think, my Princess." Jack teased in amused affection and kissed the top of her head. "But I'll let Mommy know what you think, alright? Now off to bed."

"Okay, Daddy. Love you!" replied the eager little child, not needing to be told again as she rushed into her room. After hearing the sound of her closing the door, Sunset looked over at her husband with an expression that was a mixture of annoyance and arousement before proceeding with muttering something under her breath.

Whoosh!

A few seconds later, the red-and-yellow haired female was back in her human form except she now looked just a bit disheveled, and Jack was doing his best to hold in his laughter as much as possible. "Ohhhh, you're going to wish that I…"

An amused Jack waited for his beloved to finish her sentence, but Sunset continued to stay in place. "Alright, enough with the intimidation method, love." No response from her. "Oh you can't really be that mad about me making you neigh like a… wait a sec."

He waved his hands in front of Sunset's face, but he wasn't getting any sort of reaction from her. It was as if Sunset was permanently frozen or something. "What in the world is… oh, my gosh!"

Out of instinct, Jack hurried over to their daughter's bedroom and quickly opened it to find Sunshine in a similar position. She was currently laying in bed, reaching towards the lamp that was on the small table beside her in order to turn it off.

'What the hell is going on?!' The bells and whistles started going off in Jack's head as he ran out of the bedroom to return to Sunset, but she was no longer by the kitchen counter.

Then, he quickly raced back over to their daughter's room, and the last thing he remembered while grabbing onto Sunshine's petrified state was a bright white light engulfing everything.

Meanwhile, in another universe…

"... an oar… oar… really, Stardust?" said Twilight as they walked up to the empty classroom, while attempting to look irritated despite blushing heavily.

Her messy haired partner, still bearing a scar over his right eye, just gave a simple shrug. "Trixie was the one who refused to keep talking. Why else would she continue, other than possibly having a secret thing for me..." Opening the door and, being a gentleman, allowing Twilight in first but holding it open before walking in after her. "Obviously you're telling them just how utterly amazing I am in a make out sesh- ow!"

Twilight punched her boyfriend in the shoulder after the young man had closed the door. "I have said no such thing... and don't be so sure of yourself, she does 'not' have a thing for you."

To that, Stardust could only playfully pout. "So I'm not that great of a kisser to you...?" Drooping his head low after following his beloved towards the desk.

"You know that... isn't what I meant, Stardust," replied Twilight as she brought him over to her, and blushing deeply. "I just don't want there to be another 'anon-a-miss' incident somehow..."

"I am well aware of that, my love..." Stardust smirked all too lovingly, arms wrapped around his beloved bookworm and getting entranced by those gorgeous perfect sparkling eyes. "Now, I imagine you simply didn't want to come into this particular room for studying."

The young woman shook her head, but before she could do or say anything else, Stardust picked Twilight up in both hands effortlessly, grinning with open love and desire. His hands on her clothed rear in a tight grasp and wrapping her thin legs around his strong waist, carrying his Princess towards the supply closet. "Let's finish what we started in your secret lab."

"Oh, Twilight… my beloved princess." Stardust spoke in a loving tone several moments later, keeping his thin beautiful girlfriend between him and the wall while kissing her feverishly. His hands wrapped around and neatly placed on her back. "My angel... My reason to be... My beautiful bookworm..."

The two of them were now making very good use of their alone time in the empty classroom, letting out some of the passion that they'd been holding in for each other the past couple of days. It was also after-school hours, so there wasn't any chance of them being interrupted.

"My Warrior..." replied Twilight, bringing her head more towards his own and almost smashing his lips against him, but it wasn't exactly perfect. Not that she seemed to care, even when a nearby skeleton prop fell against the back of her head.

Stardust growled into the kiss anyhow, the prop sliced into pieces a couple seconds later by how protective and loving he was of his Princessl. Grunting and groaning with pleasured affection as they kissed and kissed to their heart's content, hands softly soothing her thin back that he knew Twilight enjoyed.

"Mmmmmpphh... mmmmpphhh..." moaned Twilight against his lips, continuing to make out with her scarred boyfriend, the heat inside making her grab ahold of his shirt-

"Wow! This is almost going to be a new record for them!" called out Pinkie, looking at a stopwatch in her hand while a nearby Applejack and Rainbow Dash rolled their eyes and shook their heads. "Just stay in there for a few more minutes, guys!"

Stardust growled at the interruption, calling out rather scathingly. "You're welcome to join us! By all means, explore yourselves while-"

"Jack, calm down... please," said Twilight, sounding afraid for a moment since she still feared about him getting too angry regarding the events that took place several years ago. With her own passion levels quickly going down, the glasses-wearing female brought his face close to hers.

At one look, Stardust calmed down, sighing loudly and pressing his forehead against her own, his eyes closing briefly whilst gold features relaxed. "It's fine. I'm okay. I just want to be alone with you."

"And we will soon. I promise." Twilight replied softly while one of her hands magically unlocked the door, and the two of them began to try adjusting their appearance as their friends entered the room.

"Er, sorry 'bout interruptin' y'alls… personal time," said Applejack, with an irritated Stardust grumbling in response. "But we aren't the ones about to be late for a dress appointment with Rarity."

As for Rainbow Dash, the athletic female gave the young couple an impressed nod before saying, "I can't believe you two still come to this school even after we graduated like, 4 years ago."

While Twilight blushed sheepishly at the farm girl's statement, Stardust just shrugged at Rainbow and replied, "I was intending on us making our way up to the principal's office - gah! I was just being honest, my love."

Before Twilight could respond to her fiancé, Applejack began to push the intelligent bookworm out of the classroom. "The love makin' can continue wherever after Twilight's appointment with Rarity. Just wait until she finds out the reason you were almost late."

"Oh, I don't think we have to mention that-" Twilight started to say to her friend, but was interrupted by Stardust as he followed after them.

"Hey, if she wants to join in the fun, I would be more than willing to - ow!" The purple skinned female glared at her slightly scarred partner. "My mistake, love… would you mind if Rarity decided to take part in - oof! Hey, it was a joke!"

Once the five of them were outside of CHS, Applejack gave the young couple a stern look before saying, "Alright now... I'm trusting you guys to go see Rarity before she tears apart the whole town tryin' to find y'all. Got it?"

"I cross my heart and hope to die," replied Stardust in a humorous tone whilst Rainbow ran off to the nearby soccer field and Pinkie to go visit Fluttershy & Casey at the animal shelter.

The farm girl took another moment to look at the two of them and sighed before giving a slight nod, then walked over to her nearby truck. Once they were all gone, Stardust looked over at his fiancée with a playful expression. "Here's what I'm thinking."

"Mmhm?"

"We compensate with... Four."

Twilight placed a hand on her hip, and raised an eyebrow at her future husband. "Two works just fine, Jack."

Stardust then faked having a look of utter disappointment. "I mean if you wanna be boring about it, love."

"You honestly expect me to believe you can handle four children, even if I was busy elsewhere?" His lavender fiance inquired with an adorable raised brow and incredulous small smile as they began to take a casual stroll down the stone pathway away from the school.

Jack threw his beloved a low smirk. "Ye of little faith."

Twilight smirked back, shaking her head as they paused, eyes sparkling in warm affection. "Well, if you wanna prove yourself capable, try not to have another near-fainting session from the mere mention of our wedding."

Stardust looked away, letting the much taller adult fix his shirt's collar. "No promises..." He muttered half-jokingly, and returning his beloved's expression. "Try not to have another panic attack yourself if you something gets delayed involved with the wedding."

"Okay, now who's exaggerating?" But both future husband and wife gave their loving partner a grin, hands brushing hands and having their tender yet beautiful moment, excited and apprehensive for the future to come. "Promise me you you won't be late tonight once I'm done with Rarity."

"I repeat my earlier-"

"Jack." Both heads turned in surprise by the similar voice by a different individual, a certain golden man in a long blue coat stepping out of the glowing portal to another world, looking all but serious. "I need you to come with me. We have a situation." And then paused, looking between the two with a blink and low grin. "Oh, and uh, congratulations for the wedding."

Stardust and Twilight looked at each other with confused expressions, and then back over at the newcomer in front of them. "Listen, uh, whoever you are… I've been interrupted too many times today by people so forgive me for not wanting-"

"Please…" Then, to the young couple's surprise, a certain pink-skinned individual came from behind the magical person. "Come with us. He's in trouble."

"I feel like I've met you once before… a long time ago," said Stardust, his mind suddenly beginning to open up some long-lost memories. "And who is he?"

With a heavy sigh, the young woman lowered her hood that had been part of the sweater she was wearing and Twilight gasped at the several facial scars she had across her face. "Anti-Stardust. And yes, you did meet me back when you two were once one… I'm Anti-Starlight, or Crescent as what I'm usually known by now… Something terrible is happening, and we're part of the only ones who can put a stop to it."

Twilight found herself grabbing ahold of Stardust's hand out of instinct, and replied, "Part of…? Who else is there?"
