Harry Potter laid on his deathbed, prepared for death. Holding his right hand was his son, Albus Severus who stared at Harry unblinking. Laying at Harry's feet was Lily, who was sobbing earnestly. Her red hair shone like a flame reminding him of Ginny. They had been apart far too long, but Harry would be seeing her soon.

Past Lily, at the foot of his bed stood James. He was determined not to look at anyone in the room as to not show his grief, and instead he stared at his shoes with his hands in his pockets. Lastly, at his left hand was Hermione. All her bushy brown hair was white and had significantly deflated in size and bushiness over the years, though her eyes had lost none of their energy.

"Listen you lot, I, er, love you all." Harry said gruffly. Even after all his years of life, he wasn't sure how to do everything. Death for example. He wasn't sure... how to say goodbye.

Hermione's eyes glistened with tears that trailed down her lined cheeks. "Say hi to Ron for me, will you Harry? And give my best to Ginny."

Lily let out a particularly loud sob. "Don't go, Dad, please don't go..."

Albus was nodding solemnly. "I love you Dad. And tell Mum I love her too." They all spoke, knowing just as well as Harry that he would be joining everyone else they'd lost soon.

James didn't take his eyes off of his shoes, but his voice broke as he said, "Goodbye."

All of a sudden, Ginny appeared in the room. She crossed the room and grabbed Harry's hand and pulled him out of bed. "Come on Harry, it's time to go. We've all been waiting for you." She was young again, her long hair was red again instead of silver and her skin was smooth and free of wrinkles.

As Harry got out of bed, he was suprised to see he could walk again; one look at his hands told him he was young again too. "Where are we going?" He asked Ginny.

"Home." she replied. Harry glanced over at Ginny once and saw her eyes also twinkled with tears.

As Ginny opened the door out of the room, a golden light streamed into the room revealing Ron, Neville, Fred, George, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Luna, Lupin, Tonks, Sirius, Mad Eye, Hagrid, Bill and Fleur, Lily and James Potter, and Dumbledore all with outstretched arms and wide grins. Harry couldn't have been happier to see them all.

As Harry looked backwards one last time, he swore he saw himself still laying on the bed.

"Come on Harry!" Everyone called his name and waved at him.

"It's time to go Harry," Dumbledore's soft voice repeated in his ear, and together him and Ginny pulled Harry though the door to be reunited with all of his family at last.
