Hey guys, I'm so sorry for not posting in month's but I'm back now and working on like 5 stories at once so sorry for the wait. This story is a little different from the one's I usually do, because this is not my idea. All credit goes to PinkUnicorn84. I saw this and loved the idea but I kind of strayed from it because I don't think I can create Ballet scene. But this is not the sequel to my first story which I haven't posted yet. Here I own nothing, all credits should go to PinkUnicorn84, thanks to her I get to try something different! Vivisong out!

Buttercups POV

"Oh jeez, I'm late!" I said rushing out the door and grabbing my skateboard. "See you girls!" I called to my sisters inside and heard two faint responses back before kicking off. While skating she did a quick re check of her things in the duffel bag she carried. Water bottle check, candy bars check, phone check, ballet shoes check, leotard check, extra change of clothes check. So, you may be wondering, why is me, the one and only Buttercup Utonium, the tough one in the superhero team the Powerpuff Girls, captain of all sports at school doing a not exactly tough thing called ballet. Well first, Ballet may look girly, but it really is not. Second, I love playing all sports and dance just so happened to be one that I loved.

Then I learn, to master dance means to master ALL kinds of dance which includes ballet. I'll admit, I wasn't exactly jumping for joy to know I had to learn ballet, but I'm up for any challenge. So, I tried it, and was the best after only three classes… and I also LOVED it! So yeah, I don't exactly hide it, but I don't come out announcing it either. When you have a bad girl image to keep, let people know one person at a time.

Now back to the first, Ballet, call it girly and delicate but backstage, these dancers are as tough as nails. Sure, some are honest and just dedicated to it, but others are sometimes sneaky and could do it for attention even after the shoes come off. A HUGE pain sometimes to deal with. As for me, I'd say I fall somewhere in the middle. No, I'm not a cheater, I'm completely passionate for dance, but I guess you could say I could be as competitive as those who are shady. (are we all that surprised?)

I made it, now all I have to do is change out of my baggy clothes and put on my ballet clothes. Just a simple black leotard and a twirly skirt all in black. I put my hair in a simple bun and walk into the dance room or mirror room, whatever you call it but the place where I practice dance and see the very last thing I would want to see, Dianna. The "best" ballerina is what she thinks she is, especially with her new boyfriend Mitch (who was forced to take this). So, when I waltzed in, and learned everything so soon to be put in the advanced class she worked a year to get into, imagine her face!

See, she is one of Princess Morebucks closest friends, and one of my many nemesis's, (at school of course, though with that attitude, she could probably beat out Mojo) who believed that me dancing was a mistake. A misfortune, and small miscalculation since me dancing to her, was against the rules of nature and everything she understood. But here I was, beating her out little by little. She could glare all she wants but she knows she won't win a fight against me. Though it doesn't stop her from trying.

I gave her a sly smirk and started to stretch at the barre (is that what how it's spelled?). I saw her glare get bigger when Butch strode up to me to give me a fist bump. He was here too, not just because of his love for dance like me, but just a way 'to see me' so he says even though half the rumors say it was for Dianna not that I believe them, (Don't think too much of it! I always just happened to hear the rumors!). "yo BC" he said then whispered "she's glaring" while giving Dianna a side eye. "I know" I whispered back. He hit me on the shoulder then started to stretch with me. "how many people know?" he asked "same as before, all my friends, family enemies" I replied knowing he meant who knew I took ballet. I'm not too worried about my enemies knowing because that information isn't big enough to use as blackmail.

Back to Butch, since he's known as a bad boy, when he revealed he took ballet, girls practically fawned and swooned more at the thought of him having a soft spot to ballet (while some of the guys snickered). I'll give it to him; it was pretty sweet of him to do that to help more people join ballet especially since he's just as shy as I am. Never repeat to anyone what I just admitted. Anyway, while we were stretching, I kept an eye at Dianna and another at the teacher. Our ballet coach was our PE coach who was my favorite teacher since she's mastered and learned of sports techniques that even I never heard or thought of. No surprise that's she's mastered ballet and is our teacher. As amazing as she is, she never seems to catch Dianna like all the other teachers at school.

Butch POV

I stood there stretching while BC kept her eyes on Dianna and our coach. I have to admit, I've started to enjoy ballet even though the whole reason I joined was to hang out with BC. What's that? Some rumor being me joining me for Dianna? Gross, if you believe that you must have a problem. Any friend of BC's is friend of mine (well, I'll need details on your relationship with her for no particular reason) but the same with her enemies since I'm her best friend. Now switching topic, yes, it is true, I, Butch Jojo could have gone long enough to say I have enjoyed ballet. I mean come on, more experience for sports, hanging out with BC, a chance to show off AND watch her beat out her opponents? Heck ya!

Okay and maybe, I had a chance to do something good by getting more people to come. I mean I can't deny that I'm popular, and if popular Butch Jojo enjoyed ballet, the experience must have been AWESOME. I guess I could be a life changer! Extra points to me by showing off to BC! Now for the actual sport, nothing that wrong about it, I don't have to wear anything too cheesy (unlike BC who hated but had to get used to the skirt). The music doesn't bother me since me and my brothers never really got the point of music. And I caught on almost immediately even though I joined a week after BC, (the look on her face, PRICELESS). So, ballet, I can handle it, even with my enemies snickering and teasing about it. (who are my enemies? Oh, just almost all the guys at school).

So, like I said earlier, hanging out with BC is the practically the only reason I joined. I mean why else would I want to do ballet other than enjoy it with my best friend? Because she is my best friend, we hang out almost every day and I know her almost as well as her sisters do. (maybe even better, not to brag). And okay I might be a little protective but when your best friend practically has a fan club it's hard to ignore. Besides, she feels the exact same way about me, she can try to hide it, but I know her too well.

Anyway, our teacher clapped her hands to signal a meeting on the floor so me and BC walked over to where she was standing. As we sat down, I saw Mitch, Dianna's boyfriend about to sit on the other side of BC. I gave him a glare that he chose to ignore. Dianna on the other hand sat right beside me and casually tried to make small talk. BC noticed and I made a motion to her, she nodded, and we swiftly moved to a spot close to the teacher without making it seem like a big deal. Those two couldn't move since our coach just blew her whistle and that meant no excuses. I sat beside my best friend and decided to doze off for a bit.

Buttercups POV

The idiot beside me decided to fall asleep so what do I do? I wake him up of course! He gives a groan after he realizes I punch his side and I point a finger at him. He mutters something like "I bet it won't be important" and I whisper back "you bet huh?" I smirked while he gave a grin. "10 bucks say I won't be surprised" he says without faltering. This is the queen of gamble he's up against though, "20 bucks say the opposite" I said not afraid at all. "Deal" he said, and we shook on it before waiting for the news.

Our coach was, to me at least, was a fair lady. She can joke around, but in a game or practice she'll toughen up and plan out the best techniques and routines. Advice is also another specialty she had, and she tended to put me up front at soccer games, so I don't complain too much. When she had her clipboard me and Butch glanced at each other while everyone stared at her. "alright people, Listen up! Because of the low funding this year we won't be having our usual competition this month" she explained. Everyone gasped but Butch kept on a poker face.

"So, for this month, we'll raise money in the way I think will bring in a crowd" said our coach slyly "We're officially hosting a dance battle! ~" she said proudly. Everyone, (minus Butch) gasped while he faked a yawn. She continued, "now not only would this involve Ballet but every dance type" she explained "Hip-hop, the tango, classical, all of those into one! Ballet will just be our way of luring in the crowd" she finished. "Now for the competitors, I know we're used to doing solos so to change it up we'll have a duet!" she exclaimed

At this everyone was closely listening, "everyone may compete, but I will be having a different section for my more advanced dancers" she said "those people are including…" she started naming a few on her list while I continued to stretch, once Dinna was mentioned she practically lit up and start cheering when Mitch was also called. "Last two are Buttercup and our newest addition to the advanced, Butch!" at this I saw Butch stare up, wide eyed but the bet was far from my mind.

"That is all! Sign up by placing your name in this box and remember to invite everyone you know" she finished with flourish leaving us to practice our freestyle. Some of us sat there taking it in, other excitedly started chatting and stood up to put in their names. Dinna was one of those people dragging Mitch with her. A dance battle huh? This should be fun!
